Of all the things you had expected to happen today. You certainly didn't expect this. Your cheeks burn red. Your wide eyes looking up at the older demon.

The red-haired demon had slammed his hand onto the wall beside you. Henri's red eyes focused solely on you. He leans in closer.

You can smell the alcohol on his breath. His glasses crooked. His cheeks flushed, and his eyes glazed over. "You've been avoiding me." He growls, the low tone sending shivers along your spine.

"H-huh?" You blink in surprise. Had you really? You knew you had been busy with a few projects, but you didn't think it was that bad. "Avoiding you?" You asked.

"Yes..." He grabs your waist and pulls you close. Now chest to chest. He rubs his head against your neck, nuzzling you.

"Did i do something to offend you?" He mumbles. His beard brushes against your skin, making your breath hitch. "Don't be mad..."

You stand there in shock. Pressed between him and the wall. He has never been so affectionate before. He was usually stoic and calculating.

It takes everything in you not to squeal. Nobody is ever going to believe this! Why is your phone battery dead for devi's sake!?!?

Here, he was the leader of the demon border control acting needy and starved for attention, and you couldn't record it!!! Why couldn't you save this rare drunk moment! You shake your head, trying to focus.

"S-sir, I'm not mad." You manage to stutter out, trying not to laugh. "Good." He grunts, resting his head on your shoulder. "Don't avoid me again. That's an order." He grumbles.

"Sir, i-" "I hate when you ignore me." Your jaw drops. Pouting... the normally stern Henri Azazel was pouting!

He was so drunk he forgot where he even was! It was so tempting to mess with him a little. No! You shouldn't. He'd probably remember it.

You might as well enjoy his cuddly behavior. You stroked his long hair. "I'm sorry, sir..." He hums leaning into to more.

You huff as you have to hold up his weight. "Sir... are you sleepy?" He snuggles closer to you. You bite your lip. "Sir, let's get you to the couch."

"Don't leave..." "I'm not leaving, sir. I'm just trying to take you somewhere more comfortable." You reassure him as you tug him along.

The next day, when Henri spots you at work, he flees the room like the devil is on his heels. One of the subordinates ask. "What's gotten into him?"

You want to laugh. His face was so cute! An embarrassed Henri was the best! His cheeks were almost as red as his hair!

I'm liking the Azazel family more and more. Henri does his job, and he's very serious about it. It's good that he checked Iruma for signs of abuse, but the way he did it was so awkward lol. I just like this type of character, bonus points since he wears glasses lol.

You’re Henri’s wife and you try to help as much as you can with how tired he is during his work especially now that you eventually found out that Iruma who you knew from Ameri, has many conversations. Henri’s work had been getting tough ever since he said that thought a human had passed through into their world to you in confidence but after some explanation, you were concerned for both of them.

Henri is overjoyed that his girls get along so much especially since he wants to be there as much as possible however being Security Chief of Demon Border Control doesn’t give you many off days. He loves the days that he does have off and you all spend them together drinking tea while discussing your dreams (both while asleep and for the future ) especially with your daughter.

There’s one thing both of you firmly agree upon and it’s your daughter’s safety however unlike your husband you’re a lot more interested in Ameri’s crush or growing affection for Iruma despite her protests that it isn’t like that. On the off chance he does run into you both he frowns when you smirk muttering to himself that he can’t believe he married you (albeit as annoyed as he sounds he says it with love).
