So I've finished the Wax and Wayne series by Brandon Sanderson up to Bands of Morning (haven't got my hands on the last book yet) and my takeaway is pretty much summed up with: 

Wax: I'm an unstoppable fighter with both Magic and my guns Wayne: I'm a master of disguise Marasi: I'm a brilliant detective Steris: I make good life decisions. A beleaguered local constable that got roped into shenanigans: That's not a-- Wax, cutting him off: no, no, she's our most important member

does gale know that he's appreciated? does he know that he's loved? does he know that he's funny and witty and charming and worthwhile as a companion because of his simple existence? does he know that there is fulfillment in following the ambition to live? does he know? can he see the paths laid before him, the paths he is destined to walk, some that end in his death, others that continue on with his life, does he understand the ramifications of his choices, does he understand how his choices have affected the other companions' courses just by asking for a hand?

does he understand how the act of taking his hand grounds him in reality, towards a brighter future?

of course he doesn't; he's a fictional character and he only knows thst he sees in front of him and that is his death several feet ahead of him. he is entangled in the fabric of the universe like a moth in a spider's web, the strands of his ambitions and regrets clinging, gossamer thin yet sticky and strong, holding him fast to the paths that rip him in too many directions.

all he needs is a little push into the spider's maw or free to fly and live another day.

Hello! Wow, blast from the past. Bright Side almost feels like a past life to me now, but it means a lot to me that it's something people still remember and think about, since I put so much of my heart into making it. Unfortunately the original site has been nonexistent for awhile (hosting costs were about to triple, and i wasn't posting new comics anymore, so...). I've had the intention to set up an archive for it here on tumblr, but I keep getting waylaid trying to track down the files from some of the older ones. It is something I want to do though! Ok so i just realized i never introduced myself-

Im Aspen but you can call me Bin (dont ask why) im working on a logo dw. Im pansexual and bigender, i love the colour red to the point my fringe is dyed red,i really like horror movies my top five is like 2007 halloween, house of wax, tcm the beginning, 3 from hell, american psycho and scream 1. My favourite animals are sharks, snakes, goats, cats and cows, im a very shy person and honestly intimidated by most things but im a very nice person over all... my friend at Jam studios is working on a comic rn which is a princess who runs away and finds her maid and they go to a masqurade and do wholesome lesbian stuff bcus we need some fluff in our life right? We are also working on another comic with Schizo (my character), Astrid (Jams character) and Smokey (our other friends character) and as for the game, it will be a kidnapping game with Stockholm syndrome and im looking forward to making it, you play as a boy/girl called Avery and its your first night shift alone at a video game store... more intrests are; assassins creed, call of duty, skulls, taxidermy and guitar. Bands i like are; Candlemass, Blind Guardian, Ghost, A7x, Korn, Vulvodynia, Pierce the veil ,Infant Anihilator, Worm Sheperd, Breaking Benjamin and i cant forget Type o Negative.
