Can a throne eat bones? Cats will often just crunch up the bones of small animals and swallow them. Can a throne or headless do the same?
Yes, they can. That being said, I doubt that Thrones and Headless alike are immune to the hazards of eating cooked bones. This doesn't mean they don't do it, of course. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if "perforated intestine" wasn't a rare sort of death.
But It's just so much more civilized to cook your food, risk or no.
#it feels like a fitting kind of death#an end brought about by devotion to high culture in opposition to health and safety considerations#like getting lead poisoned by white foundation#answering#thrones#jar of mice#honestly headless/thrones have better digestive systems for raw meat and it would be in one sense safer for them to eat whole animals raw#the bones would certainly be safer to chew up#but in that case you of course have to contend with parasites#plus it is seen as more base

Thinking about when i studied counselling at uni and they straight up told us that cbt has negative outcomes for many people and shouldn't become a standard for care, all talking therapies seem to have the same efficacy as each other, many psychologists think therapy is ineffective altogether, serotonin and dopamine don't work like that we just act like they do because pills that prevent their reuptake help people*, all diagnoses are a socially created (and enforced) map that shifts and changes with time and culture, and any one person could have been diagnosed and treated differently by myriad different doctors based on luck and social factors
Shame its practitioners don't think so
#anti psychiatry#when it came time to pick a master's degree it turned out every single professionally recognised course was pseudoscience#so i have to choose between practising actual bullshit or not becoming a proper psychotherapist#their rationale: it doesn't make a difference what the therapy is because it doesn't matter#also good luck trying to get into the mental health sphere if you're not able to pay £££#so many people get into it as a hobby after retiring from middle class positions. which I'm sure doesn't contribute to its problems at all#like they taught us to formulate our own approaches and beliefs and then told us we're only getting a job if we take up someone else's#training is gonna suck shit yall#like. i see some efficacy and potential in it that's why i want in. but... it's like being trained super well on food hygeine and safety and#then becoming a line cook at the filthiest restaurant and learning everywhere in town is the same. yknow?#i think therapy is useful. i also think it's not for everyone. after all that's what they taught me and they used evidence to do it#anyway

A Comedy of Intrusive Thoughts!
Hey everyone! So, let’s talk about Pure OCD—the secret club where we all have membership cards made out of anxiety and a sprinkle of existential dread. 🎟️✨
Intrusive Thoughts: You know that moment when you’re just trying to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, and suddenly your brain says, “What if you accidentally become a world-class banana thief?” 🍌🤔 Yeah, me neither! But here we are, contemplating our future careers in fruit crime.
The Infinite Loop: Ever been stuck in your own head, replaying a conversation from 2005 like it’s the season finale of your favorite show? “Did I really say ‘that’ to Kevin? Am I still banned from the 7th-grade science fair?” 🥴🔄
Compulsions on Steroids: Forget counting steps or checking locks—my compulsions involve reorganizing my sock drawer by the emotional weight of each sock. “This blue sock reminds me of a sad day, so it gets priority over the happy stripes!” 🧦🎭
Random Googling: “Can you accidentally summon a demon by stepping on a crack?” Yeah, I’ve Googled it. Spoiler: The internet doesn’t have a clear answer, but now I’m convinced that doing laundry could lead to a spiritual crisis. 🧙♂️🧺
Social Events: Going to parties? Please. I’d rather stay home, rewatch every episode of The Office and analyze why Jim never just bought Pam a puppy. 🐶💔 Because, let’s face it, it’s safer than wondering if I should tell my neighbor I accidentally borrowed their lawnmower indefinitely.
So here’s to all my fellow Pure OCD warriors—embracing the chaos, one random thought at a time! Remember, if you ever feel overwhelmed, just think: If we can survive our brains, we can survive anything...even awkward small talk! 😅✌️
Get The Pure OCD Workbook for Overcoming Intrusive Thoughts !

on the one hand im almost genuinely kind of outraged by jeremy doing something as dangerous as that on set, like being an eccentric is one thing but putting yourself and by extension everyone on set in danger without warning anyone and just trusting your scene partner to roll with it and esentially put your life in his hands, that’s just self centred and reckless man! but on the other hand they really should have put that in the risk assessment, knowing everything they know about jeremy lmao
#no hate to the man. i still adore him and i know he wasn't going to ACTUALLY fall in of course#but jesus. health and safety dude.#jeremy strong#succession

#oh please. turgon was busy writing up a scathing architectural critique
🤣OMG yes you're right!!!!
Structurally unsound - you simply cannot build a house inside a carcass and expect it to last. Insufficient natural lighting, two windows? Two? Heathen! Poor use of the space, you left the entire head and haunches unutilized - they could easily have held bedrooms and a study. Those stairs are not to code, no handrails... let's not even talk about the startling lack of a back wall...
Historians rarely acknowledge Celegorm's taxidermy dollhouse as the inciting incident that ultimately led to Turgon's publication of Codified Architectural Aesthetics of the Noldor (volumes 1-69), which we all know was the guiding force behind the design of Gondolin!!! Know your history, people!

With online courses, you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your existing commitments. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for individuals who are working or have other responsibilities.
Another benefit of online health courses is the accessibility they offer. You can access course materials and resources from anywhere with an internet connection. This means you can study from the comfort of your own home or even while traveling. Online courses also often provide interactive learning materials, such as videos and quizzes, which can enhance your understanding and engagement.
Additionally, online health courses allow you to learn from experts in the field. Many online courses are developed and taught by experienced professionals, ensuring that you receive high-quality education. You can also connect with fellow learners from around the world, providing opportunities for collaboration and networking. Overall, online health courses provide convenience, accessibility, and expertise, making them an excellent choice for individuals looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of health.
Tips for Success in Online Learning
To succeed in online health courses, it is important to establish a routine and set dedicated study times. Treat your online course like a regular class and allocate specific blocks of time for studying and completing assignments. Another tip for success is to actively participate in online discussions and forums. Engaging with your peers and instructors can enhance your learning experience and provide opportunities for asking questions and sharing insights.
Additionally, stay organized by keeping track of deadlines and creating a study schedule. Break down larger assignments into smaller tasks and set realistic goals for each study session. Finally, make use of available resources and support. Online health courses often provide access to additional materials, such as textbooks or supplementary readings. Take advantage of these resources to deepen your understanding of the subject matter.
Navigating Online Health Course Platforms
Online health course platforms can vary in their layout and features. To navigate these platforms effectively, familiarize yourself with the different sections and tools available. Start by exploring the course syllabus or outline to understand the structure and content of the course. This will help you plan your study schedule and prioritize your learning objectives. Next, take advantage of any orientation materials or tutorials provided. These resources can guide you through the platform's features, such as how to access course materials, submit assignments, and participate in discussions.
As you progress through the course, regularly check for announcements and updates from your instructor. These communications may contain important information or reminders about upcoming assignments or changes to the course schedule.
Finally, don't hesitate to reach out to your instructor or the platform's support team if you encounter any technical issues or have questions about navigating the platform. They are there to assist you and ensure a smooth learning experience.
Effective Study Strategies for Online Health Courses
Developing effective study strategies is crucial for success in online health courses. Consider implementing the following techniques to enhance your learning experience. First, create a dedicated study space that is free from distractions. This could be a quiet corner in your home or a local library. Make sure you have all the necessary materials, such as textbooks, notebooks, and a reliable internet connection.
Next, break down the course material into manageable chunks. Instead of trying to study everything at once, focus on specific topics or chapters. This will help you retain information more effectively and prevent overwhelm. Additionally, engage in active learning by taking notes, asking questions, and summarizing key concepts. Actively engaging with the material will reinforce your understanding and improve retention.
Furthermore, establish a study schedule and stick to it. Consistency is key in online learning. Set aside specific times each day or week for studying and make it a priority. Lastly, do not forget to take breaks and practice self-care. Online learning can be demanding, so make sure to give yourself time to rest and recharge.
Utilizing Resources for Online Health Courses
Online health courses often provide a wide range of resources to support your learning journey. Take advantage of these resources to enhance your understanding and maximize your learning potential. First, access the course materials provided. These can include lecture notes, slides, textbooks, and additional readings. Review these materials thoroughly to reinforce your understanding of the subject matter.
Additionally, explore any supplementary resources offered by the course, such as online libraries, research databases, or video lectures. These resources can provide additional perspectives and deepen your knowledge. Furthermore, engage with online forums and discussion boards. These platforms allow you to connect with fellow learners, ask questions, and share insights. Participating in discussions can enhance your understanding and provide different perspectives on the course material.
Lastly, seek support from your instructor or teaching assistants if you need clarification or additional guidance. They are there to help you succeed and can provide valuable insights and feedback.

Beginning to really wonder how much of my financial concern is manufactured and handed to me as opposed to something I'm genuinely concerned by
#bc like. i'm getting by just fine. i don't have anything to be reasonably worried about#but also when i was a kid my father would break down my mother's paycheck and basically explain how broke we were#and that May Have Affected Me Somewhat#as well as just. the way you consistently see the advice to just save! don't get takeout! necessities! and i'm not intent on living like#a monk nor am i intent on being on that grindset for financial gain#it's like i don't intrinsically care but i have so many messages given to me about how i need to care a lot and it puts me in a weird spot#i am simultaneously standing still and moving at mach speeds#i mean right now i just need a safety net while in between jobs; after that i need to save up to move out of state bc the uh#political situation and upcoming presidential election don't seem very sustainable for someone like me anymore#they weren't to begin with but i don't wanna stick around to see how bad it's gonna get#but it's like. okay and then what? save for what? going back to school i guess? idk#i feel like i keep asking myself what i'm trying to accomplish and keep trying to force myself to have answers#here and now when i have to be okay with taking things one step at a time instead of having everything here and now#it's simultaneously fine and terrible and i am holding two conflicting yet equal truths#i feel i may have a clearer head once i leave my current job. i'm trying to look but nothing feels appealing given how#burnt out i already feel. i dread going back into my workplace and i fear it's showing to the patients and i don't want that#i want a month off to rediscover who i am as a person outside of getting yelled at in retail and then pick something back up#could be feasible. genuinely could be. i need to sort out the health insurance aspect but. that's lowkey the plan?#to construct a financial safety net and then slam on the breaks for a while; see if i can strike up a deal with the staff about me#coming in for specific tasks bc we already know i'm quick and efficient with the inventory so i do have a little leverage#you know what. this is getting some of it off my chest and i'm starting to feel confident again lmao#i won't be doing weekends starting either next week or the week after so that's a start! i just think i want everything done right now#bc i'm afraid i won't have the chance again but i will. i definitely will#i just need to let myself get to that point; it's just the immense drain from the register work and the Everything that comes with retail#also having to accept that it's okay to leave this; there's not something wrong with me like. ''not being able to handle it'' or w/e#no mindfulness or detachment could've saved me; it was shit and i'm hitting the bricks and that's all there is to it#i've been thinking a lot about it all lately bc it's what's most prominent in my life rn of course#idk. pondering. introspecting. as i am wont to do#anyways if you've read all this you're a real mvp and i am kissing you on the hand#shai speaks
