I'm not sure what the overlap between people who've played dragon age and watch critical role is but I need you guys to understand that Matthew Mercer is one of the coolest and most genuinely kind people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I'm so excited he gets to be a part of DA:TV. We're in for a real treat every second Manfred is on screen

Ayo, so I started playing Wuhering Waves and--
Yeah, well. If bad, why hot?
Scar might be a crazy cult guy, who lowkey-highkey tries to destroy the world or something but, honestly, he wasn't entirely wrong with what he said??
His appearance felt like such a fresh breeze. Questionable morals, but I can respect that. Definitely one of my favourite characters.
10/10 would like to be threatened again.
#sorry yangyang i was glad when he made you disappear#his EN voice actor did a phenomenal job too#he drew me in the second he started telling that tale#i wish i could join his crazy gang#wuthering waves#wuwa fanart#wuwa scar#wuthering waves scar#shanghen#fanart#original fanart#original post

Like the shit voice acting in sh2 Does add to the atmosphere and dissociative qualities of the game, but it feels disingenuous to say that it was intentional. Guy Cihi wasn't and isn't an actor they just got extremely lucky that his variety of bad was to the games benefit. Dont lie to yourself and say all the actors are on the same level as monica taylor horgan. A lot of them are very close to it but guy cihi wasnt
#delete later skater#peace and love ofc ofc#but i cannot respect that man. tbh#like actions dont necessarily reflect quality of wl#*work#but it turns out hes both a shit actor AND shit human#in an interview with thegreatdebate jeremy blaustein talks a bit about the performances w the actors and says not all of them are equal#im largely parroting what he said there tbh just attributing names#david wasnt a bad voice actor. i only caught donna slipping into her natural accent twice#the kid sounded like a kid and monica was phenomenal#what did guy do that was intentionally good#hes out of place and while it works extremely good for the game that doesnt mean it was intentional#they were all working with what they were given#this isnt even getting into the technical shit for why Everyone was sounding stilted in that game#im losing focus rn so#this has gone on too long

𝙸𝚜 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚊 𝚃𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚎𝚍𝚢?
You're an actor and you finally got your big role in a hit TV show. Unfortunately your character only made it to Season 2 before they killed you off. This is how I imagine the lads men react to watching that scene [Requested by: Anon]
𝚉𝚊𝚢𝚗𝚎
calm cool and collected on the outside; whole time he's really having an internal breakdown
grips your hand a little tighter in his as the scene progresses
“are you dying? is this a tragedy?”
is very aware that it’s just a show, but can’t stop his heart from pounding at the thought of losing you
rubs his eyes to keep himself from tearing up
stares at you after the episode ends “What?” “The thought of losing you has always terrified me; watching you perform that scene does not help” “it’s my job Zayne besides im right here”
finds himself staring at you more often just trying to commit every feature of yours to memory
never willingly watches that episode again
skips over that part every time or just turns the show off “You still can’t watch it?” “No”
praises you for the phenomenal performance although he claims it was a little too realistic
𝚁𝚊𝚏𝚊𝚢𝚎𝚕
is great at slipping in and out of character so he was the one helping you with your acting skills
sits up straight when he realizes what's happening “is this the scene you've been keeping secret?”
falls out immediately in your lap
bawling his eyes out goes as far to curl up in your lap
would be so proud of not only you, but himself as well for helping you perfect your craft
“Do I get credit as the acting coach?” “Yes would you like a reward?” “You know I do”
Although he’s proud of you he can’t bring himself to watch the episode again also doesn't continue watching the show in general "they killed off my favorite character how can I continue watching it now?"
keeps pushing you to work on crying on command so if you need to cry for your next roll it’s even better
acted out the scene with you at home for fun once and had a mental breakdown
𝚇𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚛
Fell asleep in the middle of the show and missed it
“just watch it when you get a chance” “no replay it”
immediately turns the show off in the middle of the scene
“im not watching this” “Xav…” “No”
drills you with questions about why you didn’t tell him you were dying in that episode
“I can’t watch that don’t make me watch it” "You're being a little dramatic don't you think?"
pouts, pouts, and pouts some more
won’t watch it no matter how much you beg
although he never finished watching the whole scene he holds your hand tighter now these days
asks for a warning next time so he can prepare himself …… to fast forward
𝚂𝚢𝚕𝚞𝚜
watches quietly giving away nothing
“You even shed a few tears for your own scene?” teases you for crying at your own death scene “it looks different after the editing okay!”
won't admit it, but one time was enough
“it made you sad didn’t it?” “Well I don’t take pleasure in watching you die onscreen sweetie” “im alive though” “Let's keep it that way”
weasels his way out of watching the scene again
his voice slightly wavers whenever you bring it up
avoids eye contact when you tease him about it
held you tighter at night for at least a month
Bonus: the twins bawled their eyes out and tackled you to the ground with a bone crushing hug

could i request a modern au w/ambessa, where she and the reader are celebs (actor au works with this if you want), and during an interview, the reader gets a rude question or comment, and Ambessa defends them? Like- public relationship or not, she's gonna protect her s/o from rude people
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
Ambessa x f!reader
Synopsis (AU): You and Ambessa were famous actors, constantly working together throughout your career, and the outside of it as girlfriends too. However, during an interview, an offensive question comes up that makes it a lot more serious.
Request: Anon 🤍
The bright studio lights bathed the room in a harsh glow, illuminating every detail of the set. You and Ambessa Medarda sat side by side on the plush chairs, the centerpiece of yet another promotional interview for Steel Hearts, the summer blockbuster that had shattered box office records. The film followed two battle-hardened warriors—Ambessa as a commanding general and you as a brilliant strategist—forced to unite against a common enemy. Critics had raved about your on-screen chemistry, and audiences couldn’t get enough.
The press tour, however, had been less glamorous. Endless questions, prying eyes, and the constant pressure to present a perfect image had drained your energy. You were thankful for Ambessa’s steady presence. She’d been through this circus more times than she cared to count, her calm demeanor and sharp wit a masterclass in handling the media.
Ambessa exuded power even when seated, her tailored black suit hugging her frame perfectly. Her polished shoes gleamed under the studio lights, and her short, silver hair was styled to perfection. Her hand rested casually on her knee, but you noticed how close it was to yours, her pinky brushing against your hand in a silent gesture of reassurance.
You glanced at her briefly, catching the subtle quirk of her lips, the kind of smile that was just for you. It was the same smile that had made you fall for her months ago when you were shooting the first battle sequence together. You had stumbled over your lines, nervous in her commanding presence, and she’d leaned in with that quiet smirk, whispering, “Relax. You’re brilliant.”
Those words had stuck with you, much like the woman herself.
The interviewer, a man in his late forties with a practiced grin, adjusted his cue cards. He was the latest in a string of journalists, most of whom asked similar questions. You hoped for the same today—something easy, something routine.
“So,” he began, his gaze flicking between you and Ambessa, “Steel Hearts has been a phenomenal success. Congratulations to you both. The chemistry between your characters has really resonated with audiences. Was that something you had to work on, or did it come naturally?”
You smiled politely, though your nerves prickled. “It’s always a process, but Ambessa made it easy. She’s a phenomenal scene partner.”
Ambessa chuckled, her voice a low rumble that seemed to command the room. “She’s being modest. Most of my best takes were because of her.”
The interviewer nodded, though there was a glint in his eyes that made your stomach twist. “Interesting. Well, some might say your character’s intelligence and strength were a bit aspirational. Do you think that’s realistic, given your off-screen persona?”
The question hit like a slap. Your smile faltered as you processed the insult buried in his words. Aspirational? Off-screen persona?
Beside you, Ambessa’s posture changed instantly. Her jaw tightened, and her eyes sharpened into a glare that could cut glass. “Excuse me?” Her voice was calm but laced with danger.
The man blinked, clearly taken aback. “I just meant—”
“No, I’d like you to clarify,” Ambessa interrupted, leaning forward slightly. Her presence was overwhelming, even seated. “Because it sounds like you’re questioning my partner’s capabilities, and I won’t let that stand.”
“I didn’t mean—” he stammered, his face reddening under the lights.
Ambessa cut him off with a cold smile, the kind that made her on-screen enemies cower. “She’s worked tirelessly for this role, and for every role she’s ever taken. If you can’t recognize that, then perhaps you’re in the wrong profession.”
The room fell into an uncomfortable silence, the tension thick enough to suffocate. You glanced at Ambessa, your heart pounding. Her protective fury was palpable, a force that wrapped around you like armor.
The interviewer fumbled with his cards, desperate to move on. “Well, moving on, what’s next for you two after Steel Hearts?”
You answered automatically, your voice steady despite the lingering sting of the earlier question. Ambessa’s hand rested on her knee again, close enough for her pinky to brush yours. It was a small touch, but it grounded you.
When the interview finally ended, Ambessa stood first, extending a hand to help you up. You took it, her grip firm and steady, and the two of you walked out of the studio together.
The moment you were alone in the hallway, she turned to you, her features softening in a way only you ever got to see. “Are you alright?”
You nodded, though your voice wavered. “I didn’t expect that.”
Her hand cupped your face gently, her thumb brushing over your cheek. “You don’t deserve to be spoken to like that. Ever. If anyone tries it again, I’ll make sure they regret it.”
A shaky laugh escaped you. “You’re terrifying when you’re angry, you know that?”
Her lips quirked into a small smirk. “Only when I have to be.”
You leaned into her touch, letting her hand anchor you. “Thank you for standing up for me. You didn’t have to go that far, though.”
Her eyes softened, the steel melting into something gentler. “Yes, I did. You’re brilliant, and no one gets to diminish that. Not on my watch.”
The sincerity in her voice made your chest tighten. She always had a way of making you feel like the center of her world, even when surrounded by the chaos of fame.
Ambessa tilted her head toward the exit. “Come on. Let’s get out of here. You’ve had enough of this circus for one day.”
The car ride back to the apartment you shared was quiet, the kind of silence that felt comforting rather than awkward. Ambessa’s hand rested on the center console, and without thinking, you reached over to lace your fingers with hers. She glanced at you briefly, her expression softening further, before returning her eyes to the road.
Once you were home, you kicked off your heels with a sigh of relief. Ambessa followed you into the living room, shrugging off her suit jacket and tossing it over the back of the couch.
“Wine or tea?” she asked, already heading toward the kitchen.
“Tea,” you replied, sinking into the plush cushions. “I need to unwind, not wind up.”
She returned a few minutes later with two steaming mugs, handing one to you before settling beside you. You curled up against her, letting her arm drape around your shoulders. The warmth of her body and the quiet intimacy of the moment eased the tension that had been coiled in your chest since the interview.
“You know,” she said after a moment, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on your arm, “you handled that question well. Even before I stepped in.”
You huffed a laugh. “I don’t know about that. My brain practically short-circuited.”
“Maybe,” she admitted, “but you didn’t let it show. You’re stronger than you think.”
You looked up at her, the weight of her words settling over you like a blanket. “You always know what to say.”
“Not always,” she said with a wry smile. “But I know how much you mean to me. That makes it easier.”
Your heart swelled, and before you could stop yourself, you leaned up to press a kiss to her lips. It was soft and lingering, a silent thank you for everything she’d done for you today—and every day before.
When you pulled back, she was looking at you with the kind of intensity that made your cheeks warm. “You’re everything to me,” she said quietly, her voice a promise. “I don’t care what anyone else thinks or says. I’ll always have your back.”
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, but you blinked them away, instead curling tighter against her. “I love you, Ambessa.”
Her arm tightened around you, her lips pressing to the crown of your head. “And I love you. Always.”
The rest of the evening passed in a blur of quiet conversation and shared laughter. The world outside could wait; for now, it was just the two of you, safe in each other’s arms.
The next morning, headlines about the interview flooded your notifications. Most of them were centered on Ambessa’s fiery defense of you, with phrases like “Ambessa Medarda Shuts Down Rude Interviewer” and “Power Couple Goals: Ambessa Protects Her Partner.”
You showed her one of the articles over breakfast, raising an eyebrow. “Looks like you’ve gone viral.”
She glanced at the headline and shrugged. “Good. Maybe next time they’ll think twice before asking you something stupid.”
You laughed, leaning over to kiss her cheek. “You’re incredible, you know that?”
She smirked, her confidence as unshakable as ever. “I try.”

Tom meeting reader at an event and he’s just flirting the whole night and ends up getting her number
i watched the golden globes and got inspired to write this! i hope you like it <3
MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
If there was an award for "most nervous person in attendance" at the Golden Globes, you'd have won it by now.
Award shows never failed to make your stomach feel in knots the entire time, specially when you were nominated, like tonight.
The Great had been a huge breakout role, a period drama that had captivated audiences and critics. Now, you stood among the nominees for Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes, and you could feel your heart pounding as the moment of your category being announced approached.
"Love, are you okay?" you heard a voice calling for you, turning your head you realized that it was Dua (yes, the Dua Lipa) who was sitting next to you.
"Just a bit nervous," you told her with a small smile, "I think I'll head backstage for a minute, I need a breather."
She assured you with another smile and you made your way backstage, a commercial break started just on cue.
You had rehearsed your acceptance speech a dozen times in case you won, and also had a pep talk ready in case you didn't, yet the nerves persisted. You knew you were competing against some big names, and whatever the result people online would have something to say.
Your train of thought was interrupted by your body colliding with someone, almost dropping your clutch in the process.
"Whoa there, careful," a voice chuckled, catching your arm.
"Sorry, I didn't see where I was going," you said, your cheeks flushing from embarrassment, of course you'd run into someone in classic romcom cliche style.
"No harm done. You alright?" he grinned and you recognized him, it was the man who had been flooding your Tiktok for you page for the past month, Tom Blyth, "I'm Tom, by the way."
"Nice to meet you, I'm YN," you smiled back, "And yeah, I'm okay. Just a bit nervous about my category. Oh you're presenting it, aren't you?"
"I'll have the privilege, yes," his charm effortlessly showed, "And just so you know, I'm rooting for you. You were phenomenal in The Great, one of my favorite shows I watched last year."
Your nerves seemed to ease a bit, his presence and charm making you relax. There was something about him that felt comforting, even though it was your first time meeting him.
"Thank you, that's really nice," you smiled at him, "But I don't want to get too confident, the other nominees are just as great."
"Honestly, I'd bet my hat you're taking that Golden Globe home tonight."
Tom squeezed your arm gently and you smiled again, and before another word could be exchanged, a crew member's voice echoed through the backstage area announcing that the show was back from commercial break in 30 seconds.
"Well, looks like it's showtime" Tom glanced towards the exit, then back at you. "Knock 'em dead out there, YN. You got this."
"We'll see."
With a final wink sent your way, you parted ways. You returned to your seat and tried to enjoy the ceremony as much as you could, your nerves still in the back of your head but your interaction with Tom making you feel more at ease now.
"And now, presenting the award for Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, please welcome The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes star, Tom Blyth!"
You heard the host say and you knew t was time, and once again a wave of nerves and uncertainty filled your body.
The crowd erupted in applause as Tom stepped onto the stage, his confidence and charm shinning through.
"Good evening, everyone. It's an honor to be here tonight among such incredible talents," Tom smiled, "Here are the nominees for Female Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy."
A video played showing all the nominees but you felt like your mind was numb, you didn't even realize it had ended until Tom's voice was heard again.
"And the Golden Globe goes to," he paused for suspense, and you could see a small smirk making its way to his face as he read the name, "YN!"
Time seemed to freeze, you tried to process everything as you heard the applause from the crowd and those around you congratulating you and before you knew it, you were on stage taking the award from Tom's hands and giving him a quick hug.
"I told you." He quietly whispered in your ear and gave you a wink, a moment that the cameras had caught.
You gave your speech, thanking your cast mates, directors, family, friends and the rest of the nominees. Once you were done you headed backstage with a proud smile and your newest award in hand.
The night went on and you definitely enjoyed every minute of it, mingling with other actors and thanking everyone who approached to congratulate you.
Once the ceremony wrapped up, you headed to the after party, you were sipping on a fruity drink by the bar when you felt a presence behind you.
"Hey, can I steal a moment with the newest Golden Globe winner?"
You turned around noticing it was Tom, he had changed to a different suit and you couldn't help but think that he looked really handsome.
"Sure, what do you need, president Snow?" you laughed, feeling a newfound confidence around him.
"How about your number? I'd hate to lose touch with Hollywood's latest sensation." Tom flashed his charming smile again, taking you by surprise and making your entire body feel giddy.
"Smooth, Blyth. Very smooth." Blushing furiously, you playfully rolled your eyes.
"Well, when you really really want something, smooth comes naturally."
And just like that, after winning a major award for your career and feeling on top of the world, you found herself exchanging numbers with Tom Blyth, excited to see where that would take you.

FEELINGS - j. champion
You and Jack met during the chemistry reads for Scream VI. It was obvious that, from the beginning, you two were close. Your personalities went well together and everyone saw your obvious chemistry. The chemistry really helped, seeing as your characters were love interests. As time went on, you began to see Jack differently and he the same. And maybe, unlike your characters, the two of you would have a happy ending.
•
Filming for Scream VI was slowly coming to an end. You heard someone say that you only had about 2 weeks of filming left before everything wrapped.
It was bittersweet.
Occasionally, you'd find yourself reminiscing about all of the friendships and memories you've made this summer. Something about your castmates just made the whole filming process all the more better. Especially since this was your first real project.
The directors were taking a chance with you, hiring a newcomer was a risky move. But needless to say, they believed they made the right choice. You were a phenomenal actor.
"Earth go, Y/N." Jasmine was waving her hand in front of your face, bringing your attention back to the 4 sitting around you.
You, Melissa, Jenna, Devyn, Liana, and Jenna all sat in a circle in the grass. A break had been announced while they worked out some kinks in a scene and they let you all just chill together.
"Hmm?"
Devyn reached over and squeezed your hand, smiling sweetly at you. "We're rating our castmates 'cause we're bored."
She was the sweetest, just like her character.
"And it's time to rate Mason, and I don't plan on rating him because he's like my brother and that's weird." Jasmine laughed, earning laughs from the group.
You shrugged, "7.5?"
Most nodded, except for Jenna who scoffed and called out the number 4. Her response only elicited a fit of laughter from the group. Jenna loved picking on Mason, it was one of her favorite pastimes.
"Oooh, i've got one." Melissa clapped her hands in excitement. "Y/N, rate Jack."
You swallowed harshly. Suddenly very thankful that the boys weren't around instead of being mopey like you had been before. You actually had been wishing that Jack... and Mason were there. But now that they'd asked that? Their absence was actually a blessing.
"3."
Jack was your best friend.
"Bullshit!" Liana yelled.
She was right, you'd lied straight through your teeth. You'd met Jack while doing chemistry reads months ago. Your characters played love interests so you'd gotten to meet the boy before the rest of the cast so the directors could ensure the two of you had believable chemistry.
"Um." you mumbled, you'd actually fallen for him as time passed.
When you got to set in June you thought the constant butterflies in your stomach were from being excited and nervous to film. It wasn't until a week or two later and you were grabbing lunch alone with Jack that you realized that the butterflies only showed up when you were in his presence.
Jenna playfully pushed you by the arm, "C'mon, tell us the real answer."
You hated how they knew about your real feelings. You had never admitted them, though. So, their knowledge was pure speculation at this point.
"10." you'd said it almost too quiet for them to hear.
But when they erupted in screams and Devyn tackled you in a hug, you knew they'd heard you.
"No one can tell him! He definitely only sees me as a friend and i'm not ruining the friendship." you instructed from your spot below Devyn.
They all agreed to not tell, but also told you that you were wrong. Apparently they knew that your feelings weren't 1 sided.
"Who likes who?"
You all froze.
It was the familiar voice of Jack that made your stomach drop. Devyn crawled off of you, helping you sit up. You couldn't bare to look at Jack. You were sure your cheeks were bright red and he'd know immediately.
"Chad likes Tara." Jenna blurted, attempting to get Jack off the topic.
The grass looked very interesting all of a sudden.
"Well, I knew that. That's boring." he scoffed.
You mentally cursed when he sat down next to you on the grass, his knee bumping with yours. It took everything in you to not look at him still. Jack was your best friend after all, his brown eyes always brightened your day.
"Jackson, wanna play our game?" Jasmine broke the silence.
Your eyes snapped to Jasmine's, she wouldn't.
You looked around the circle, realizing that all of the girls had smirks on their lips. They knew what Jasmine was up to.
"Sure?" he laughed nervously.
Jasmine rubbed her hands together, never looking back at you. "We're rating our castmates, so, rate Y/N."
"Easy, 10."
What?
You looked right at him as all of the girls went crazy. Did he say what you thought he did?
He wouldn't look at you though, his cheeks burning crimson. You couldn't tell the reason behind the blushing, though, sometimes Jack would blush when he had too much attention on him.
But it still made you sick that he wouldn't look at you.
"I don't feel good." you mumbled, jumping up and running off.
Jack was oblivious though.
While you were basically dry heaving in your trailer, he had texted and wished for you to feel better and to ask if you were still on for your movie night. You sighed, actually thankful that he didn't get the hint as to why Jasmine had asked or why you ran off and simply texted a "thank you, and yes."
The Jasmine texted, checking on you and apologizing for asking Jack. Even adding the disclaimer about how at least he thought you were a 10. You forgave her and told here there were no hard feelings. It was just a simple game.
A few hours later and you had all returned to your apartments for the night.
You were freshly showered with your hair in two braids down your back, body clad in pajamas. Your pajamas consisted of a pair of boy's boxers and a tshirt Jack had given you of his. The two of you were at his apartment one night and you saw an avatar shirt he had on the arm of his couch and you had geeked out over it. In that moment, Jack knew he had to give it to you.
The shirt had brought you more joy than it probably ever would him, and he'd definitely smile every time he saw you in it.
"Knock, knock!" Jack called out as he walked in using the key you'd given him in case you lost yours — well that and you didn't want to have to let him in every time he came over.
He held up a bag of takeout, "I still got the tacos in case you were hungry. Feeling better?"
You nodded, walking over and taking the bag from his hand, leading him to the kitchen.
"I don't know what happened." you lied, taking the containers out of the bag. "But i'm much better now."
The two of your stood in the kitchen eating your tacos. For some reason, every time Jack came over he'd bring tacos from this place you two had found at the beginning of filming. You'd stand around in the kitchen and chow done, catching up on any time spent apart before eventually finishing and going to watch your movie of choice.
"Do you mind if we watch in my room? I'm exhausted." you sold your story by yawning.
You were telling the truth, you were absolutely wiped today. Jack shrugged, lunging toward you and picked you up. You let out a scream of surprise as he carried you, walking you back to your bedroom.
He carefully sat you down on the covers and let you crawl into your spot while he took his shoes off. Without hesitation, he crawled in next to you, propping himself against the headrest.
Your heart started beating closer at your proximity. You tried to ignore it be cueing up the movie, Scream (2022) tonight. The two of you had been on a Scream kick lately.
"This one's gonna be weird to watch since we know these weirdos in real life." Jack chuckled, getting more comfortable, which only brought him closer to you.
Was that on purpose?
You couldn't tell.
As the movie went on, you suddenly became super aware of how close the two of you were sitting. Your head was only inches from Jack's shoulder, so you gave in, letting your head fall onto him.
You'd done this countless times before, but this time felt different. You could've sworn you heard Jack breathe in sharply.
A couple minutes passed before you felt something touching your hand under the covers. You focused for a second before realizing that Jack was tapping the back of your hand with his fingers. Without thinking, you flipped your hand so your palm was up, Jack quickly intertwining his fingers with yours now.
You'd never been more thankful that it was dark, because he wouldn't be able to see how red your cheeks were now.
You got more comfortable, enjoying both the movie and Jack rubbing the back of your hand with the pad of his thumb. Once again, he'd held your hand before, but this time felt different.
Your mind was going crazy and so were all the butterflies in your stomach. Oh what this boy did to you.
You'd met him about a month after you had turned 17, about a week before Christmas. His birthday about a month prior to that. The two of you had bonded over being "late 2004 babies" and the rest of your friendship was history.
But what if it changes tonight?
Jack squeezed your hand.
You lifted your head, looking to him, your hands staying connected. Jack had a different look on his face, once that you'd only ever seen when he was playing Ethan and he was looking at you. This was a look you'd seen Jack portray when looking at his girlfriend.
But this time the look felt entirely genuine.
"J?" you questioned quietly when you noticed his eyes flickering to different places around your face, one of them being your lips.
It was like you were nervous.
Almost questioning if this was real.
Jack didn't say anything, instead he ducked his head and connected his lips with yours. You gasped slightly, not expecting his abruptness.
But you didn't hesitate to kiss back.
Sure, you'd kissed before while acting, but this right here? This was real. This was Jack and Y/N. Not Ethan and Y/C/N.
Your free hand held the back of his neck, fingers fiddling with the curls at the nape of his neck. Jack smiled into the kiss and you swore you almost lost all composure.
How could he be so cute?
His hand broke free of yours and you faltered for a second. Only regaining your composure when you felt his hands grips your hips to pull you on top of him. You forgot how strong he was.
Jack's hands stayed on your hips while your hand not on the back of his neck decided to rest on his chest. You hadn't realize how toned he was and you could definitely feel the muscle under his tshirt.
He pulled away, letting you sit up slightly as you both goofily smiled at each other. "I'm assuming this is okay since you so willing let me pull you onto my lap?" Jack raised an eyebrow, the slightest smirk playing on his lips.
You couldn't help but peck his lips, heart fluttering when you saw his smirk falter into a pout when you pulled away so quickly.
"I mean, we both rated each other 10s earlier and i'm pretty sure i've liked you for a couple months now."
He seemed proud of himself, the cutest smile now on his lips. "Good, good. Glad I didn't read the signs wrong and ruin the friendship."
"That'd be awful."
You hand slid around from the back of his neck and up to his cheek, your thumb rubbing over his cheekbone. You couldn't help but admire him.
You've done that time and time again. But never this close or with these feelings.
He was looking at you the same way. His hands had found their way underneath your shirt, sitting on your bare waist and thumbs caressing the soft skin underneath them.
"Kiss me again, your lips are addicting." he mumbled, his voice quiet from being mesmerized by the situation he'd found himself in.
You happily obliged.
You quickly leaned in and connected your lips, both of you moving together in sync. It was like your lips were created to be together.
Jack's hands stayed put, never once wandering. And same for you. The two of you were content with doing exactly what you were doing. Maybe the rest will come a different day.
"Stay over tonight?" you mumbled against his lips.
You felt him nod, "I'd like that."
You were ecstatic. The thought of falling asleep in Jack's arms had you beyond excited. He always made you feel safe, so you had a feeling you'd sleep like a baby tonight.
"Good, good." You let a finger lightly trace his jawline, down his neck, down his chest, and then stopping when you left your hand to rest in his lap.
Jack caught you hand, breaking the kiss and looking you dead in the eye, his eyes wider than usual. "I'm going to need you to not do that again, because i'm really trying to be respectful and only kiss you tonight and that's not helping."
Your cheeks burned red, "Oh." You patted his chest, "Then let's stop this for now and finish the movie."
You crawled off of him, Jack saying something about how that was a good idea before kissing you quickly once more. You tucked your body into his once more, except now your head was rested on his chest and his arm fell lazily around your body.
You could get used to this.

Beyond the limelight - Gojo Satoru
A/N: Wow thank you all so much for enjoying Limelight. As promised, here is a short epilogue to conclude the story. If you haven't already, read the main story here.
I will write more actor!Gojo x reader headcannons if requested, so do let me know!
Content: actor!Gojo x female reader, fluff.
Divider by @v6que
Glamor and glitz were the words of the night. Cameras flashing with blinding lights, and the carpet bearing witness to opulence that tethered the line of gaudiness.
Here it was, the culmintation of years of hard work. Of taking on seemingly insignificant roles and incessant practice. Years and years until Gojo finally made it into brightest spot of the limelight. The summum of any actor’s career. The academy awards.
After a rather exciting time on the red carpet, the ‘Romeo and Juliet’ cast and crew members took their place at their assigned table in the decorated theater. Distinct emotions tinged their light chatter; excitement, hope, and palpable nerves. The movie had done phenomenally in theatres, breaking box office records and earning nominations in multiple categories.
And with that came the hope of recognition. Awards were not everything, but they certainly were not nothing. You held the same hope in your heart, nestled between the cushions of your green couch and pillows, eyes fixed on the broadcast.
A series of fanciful montages and an eternity of product placements later, the hosts of the night finally climb the stage to announce the winner of the “best actor” category.
“And finally, the award for best actor goes to…” the lady’s voice draws out the suspense, directing an enigmatic smile at the camera. Your heart was thrumming in your chest, Gojo could hear his heartbeat vibrating in his ears.
A second passed, and you waited with bated breath. Separated by physical distance, but united in sentiments.
“Gojo Satoru! As Romeo,” the host all but shouted into the microphone, and the entire audience erupted in cheers.
You screamed in joy behind your TV, and being nudged out of a daze by the director, Gojo makes his way to the stage on unsteady feet. His hands are still trembling slightly when he is handed the award, but finally standing in front of the microphone, he steadies himself.
“Wow, is this what it feels like to be speechless?” The audience laughs faintly while he takes another moment to gather his thoughts. He breathes out, and leans in closer to the mic.
“I want to thank all of the production team for their efforts in this, everyone worked so, so hard,” he grinned towards his table, “thank you to all my fans who always support my projects, it really means the world,” a dazzling smile is directed into the camera.
He then looks down, his smile morphing into a more subdued one, a more earnest one. “But above all, thank you, my one and only love, watching at home,” he looks into the camera, and even though you are miles apart, you feel his gaze on you. Tears pool in your eyes. “For being my anchor when I felt like I was drifting away. For allowing me the room to grow and flourish. For letting me talk your ears off. I love you forever.”
And with that he stepped off the stage, waving at the assembly that presented a standing ovation.
It is needless to say that social media went into absolute madness after that speech. That bold declaration of love.
[OMG so he’s not dating Yuki?]
[It has to be a non-celeb then]
[So lucky bro]
[This was one hell of a hard launch]
Though you remained anonymous, Gojo honoring his commitment to you, he had still declared his love for you. Even in the brightest spot of the limelight, he belonged with you. And though you stood out of its blinding intensity, you too, belonged with him.
------------------------------------★★--------------------------------------
[Hi love, just a heads up. I won’t be home when you get there, got that one work presentation I told you about] you typed quickly, phone in one hand and sandwich in another. After this lunch break, you were scheduled to present data on a project you were recently put in charge of, and your nerves were running high.
You knew a promotion hung on the line, a long anticipated one.
But Satoru had been there to encourage you all the way, listening to your rants about uncooperative co-workers and offering to help you practice. A smile graced your lips at the thought.
He was as busy as ever, now sought out by most of the major production companies. Gojo Satoru was beyond popular. He was a household name. But beyond the exhausting days and filled out schedules, time made for each other was all the more intentional. Honest conversations and comforting touches. You grew and you loved.
[Gotcha! And remember what I said, don’t stress bby. I know you’re going to kick it out of the park (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧] The reply elicited a chuckle from you.
[I’ll remember that. I love you]
[love you too bebe]
You cleaned your hands and returned to your desk, grabbed all the needed documents. You took in a deep breath and relaxed your shoulders. You got this.
------------------------------------★★--------------------------------------
Click clack
You took your keys out of the hole and stepped in, door closing quietly behind you.
Your nose immediately caught whiff of the pleasant aroma that permeated your living room. You heard Satoru’s voice, belting along with Rihanna to umbrella, causing you to smile.
He pauses as soon as he catches a glimpse of you. ”Hey sweetheart!” He beams at you, turning the volume down.
“Hi Satoru,” you’re hanging your jacket, “What are you making?”
“Well, your favorite, of course!” He comes into full view, and you laugh at the sight of his flower-embroidered apron. “Now, cut the suspense. How did the meeting go?”
You look to the ground, sighing dejectedly as you finally manage to slip out of your shoes. Immediately the mood shifts, and Gojo steps closer, arms open.
“Oh I’m so sorry,” he is right about to engulf you in the most comforting hug ever when you look up with a bright smile.
“Sorry for what? I got the promotion!” You jump with joy, and he picks you up, twirling you around the small living room. Gleeful laughs fill the space as you secure your arms around his neck.
He finally sets you down, but still holds your waist, pulling you close for a kiss. Then another. “I’m so proud of you, Y/N. You’ve worked so hard for this,” The earnest words make a pout appear on your lips and tears threaten to fall from your eyes. He promptly kisses them away, dragging you into the kitchen. “And now time for the celebratory meal!”
You’re helping set the table when you notice something.
“Satoru why are there 2 cakes?” he dashes over to you as you open the box with a cake that reads ‘they suck anyway’
“Wrong one,” he swiftly pulls that one away, and opens the one that said ‘I always knew you could do it!’
You burst into laughter, taking in the view of your lover. You fight for each other in big and small ways. The man with whom you grow and learn. Your heart feels more full than your stomach after that dinner. Laid down on your couch, in each others’ embrace.
Reblogs and comments are much appreciated(❁´◡`❁)

my true (respectful) thoughts of arcane s2
so much of the promotional material promised so much in the way of vi and jinx/powder and their sisterly relationship, but i feel like with the amount of storylines/plotlines they did in this season, it was just too busy to focus on anyone–let alone the two supposed protagonists of the show. i think the best way for me to articulate how i feel about the writing of this show is that it fell flat, lost its heart, and emotional impact of the first season.
i would have been okay with them straying from my personal favourite focus if:
the storylines had been fleshed out better
the decisions the characters made actually made sense
main characters didn't become plot devices (vi)
new additions of the show weren't just plot devices (isha, loris, maddie, etc.)
motivations of characters made sense
characters had even small lines/dialogue to articulate their intentions/ideas
less time spent on off-screen development
and the thing is with the amount of plot lines they were ambitiously aiming to see out to fruition, its really hard to also set up all these new facets or opposing characteristics in former characters–plus adding new ones too. for example:
caitlyn's facist arc that didn't really have much meaning or attention
jinx's s1 mental collapse which changed abruptly into her redemption arc via isha (plot device)
jinx's revolutionist arc (first, reluctantly and then, willingly w ekko)
vi's pitfighter/brawler arc which was literally just one clip (which ended up being a teaser that showed everything)
im almost grateful to the minimal screen time ekko got bc they didn't try to change the core and essence of who he was in s1: he stayed true to himself. he's just a boy with a huge heart and love for his people that chose to leave his happy ending in an alternate timeline to return to the ppl who needed him where he is almost guaranteed heartbreak in some way or another.
i think the main reason so many ppl loved the first season was bc the characters were relatable in one way or another and they became so multidimensional when you explored how their environment/circumstances shaped them. but this season bc it was so purely focused on the endgame instead of HOW everyone got there, the characters fell flatter, they lost a soul and heart, and i felt the show lost its charm.
i know we all have our favourite characters and storylines we want the show to focus on and i would have been okay if i didn't get my way. if the show didn't focus on jinx and vi, i would've lived (although the promotional material was unfairly misleading) if the storylines, characters, and everything else made sense to me.
of course, the animation was lovely and the music was catchy/heartbreaking. i dont regret watching the show out to its final episode. it was one of the most beautiful visual experiences of my entire life. i still love the characters and will never regret staying on board until the final moments.
but i cant lie and say im not a little sad at how it ended too.
edited add-on:
also, the voice actors did phenomenally. ella purnell just absolutely nails the delivery for every line and reed shannon also hurt me with how he portrayed ekko. so on and so forth.
but that being said, i also felt the dialogue and lines of each character felt much less impactful this season (again, writing.)
i liked viktor’s monologue at the end of act 2. that was compellingly well written
but the lines this season weren’t the same quality as silco’s monologue about drowning, jinx’s speech at the beginning of the doomed tea party, etc. everything just felt so flat and shallow this season overall.
#arcane critique#arcane league of legends#arcane#league of legends#i want ppl to know i dont regret watching the show and seeing it out#this is all subjective to me#i understand some ppl still liked it#im not here to change anyone's minds#but after sitting with the end of the season#this is how i feel#vi#jinx#ekko#caitlyn kiramman#ambessa#mel#viktor#jayce talis#silco#vander#warwick#vi and powder#powder and vi#jinx and vi#vi and jinx#arcane jinx and vi#arcane vi and jinx

My best friend’s sister-part two//t.c.
Warnings: teasing, mention of masturbation, sneaking around, public bathroom sex, female receiving oral sex, fingering, squirting
“I need you, Timmy.” y/n whispered. Her hand softly rubbing his thigh under the table.
He grabbed her hand, stopping her, “We can’t. Are you crazy? Your brother and your whole family is here.” he released her hand, shoving it away before anyone could notice.
“Timmy, please.” she begged, her voice barely audible. She put her hand back to his lap, moving upwards, grazing over his crotch.
He stiffened in his chair, trying his hardest to not get the attention of anyone else in their party. “Y/n.” he warned, looking over at her with a glare.
“I know.. but can’t you take me somewhere?” she leaned in closer to him, but keeping a safe distance to avoid any type of suspicion. “Somewhere private?”
It had been a week since Timmy took y/n’s virginity. He wasn’t too nervous about seeing her again at Trent’s birthday dinner. He figured that what happened was merely a one time thing and they would probably never speak of it.
He hoped that it was a positive experience for her and she would be more confident in her sexual exploits going forward. They could still be friends. She could still be just his best friend’s sister. As long as he kept his visions of that day out of his mind. That could be a real problem, especially considering he’d thought about her as he jerked off the morning before the party.
“Hey, hey, my man!” Trent called out to him as he came into the restaurant. He got out of his seat to dap up his best friend.
Timmy smiled as he hugged Trent, slapping the birthday boy in the back. “Happy birthday, brother.”He looked up, noticing y/n sitting next to Trent’s girlfriend, talking to her. Her eyes met his, and he felt the electricity between them. It was something he hadn’t felt in a really long time. Trent’s little sister. This was not good.
“We saved you a spot next to y/n, buddy.” said Trent, adding, “We’re gonna order soon.”
Perfect. “Great, thanks man.” he could do nothing but take his place next to y/n at the table.
“Hi.” she said softly as he sat down.
“Hey, it’s uh-been a minute, how are you?” he asked, sitting down and scooting his chair in, then looking at her.
She smiled, “Good. Yeah, good.” she absentmindedly ran her fingers through her hair. Timmy could see the color coming into her cheeks. “You?”
“Pretty good.” he nodded politely, smiling with his mouth closed. Their shared gaze held there torrid secret, but those around them would never guess. They would be phenomenal actors.
......
Y/n couldn’t get enough of this moment. Sitting next to him, she could almost feel the heat from his body. She thought him day and night, and only of him.
"Somewhere private?" she asked, slyly putting her hand on his thigh under the table. Her body wasn't turned to him, no one would even know that they were in each other's conversation. She had been trying to tease him throughout dinner without anyone noticing. Timmy was resisting, but she knew he would give in. She could feel it.
He turned his head, saying lowly, "And how would you propose that? At your brother's party?"
Y/n hummed, crossing her arms over her chest as Timmy resumed his other conversation. Out of nowhere, she blurted in her normal voice, "Timmy, be a gentleman and escort me to the bathroom, please?"
He looked at her, shrugged his shoulders, "Sure."
She got up from the table and lead the way through the busy, crowded restaurant.
"Very inconspicuous, y/n." he said sarcastically, walking only a step behind her.
"Oh, don't worry. No will suspect a thing. They're not paying attention to you or me. It's all about golden boy Trent."
"What do you think he'd do if he knew I was fucking following you to the bathroom?" Timmy asked in hushed tone as they approached the women's restroom.
"It's a crowded restaurant, and I just wanted to feel safe having someone look out for me. And you're like a big brother to me, Timmy." the last sentence was a tease that she said with a high pitch.
He outwardly grimaced with a shudder, "Never say anything like that again."
"I was only kidding." she giggled, grabbing the door handle, "Come in in like ten seconds when no one is watching."
He rolled his eyes, mocking her, "No, no I'll make sure all eyes are on me." He watched the door close behind her, then stood in front of the door, like he was blocking other's from entering. He felt like a great protector for a moment. In all seriousness, he'd do anything to protect y/n. He really did care for her, and he hoped she knew that.
There was a soft knock on the door behind him, "Timmy? Are you still there?"
He smiled, turning and opening the door quickly and joining y/n in the bathroom and closing the door.
"Oh, good, I thought you had just left me hanging." she admitted, brushing her hair over her shoulder.
"I wouldn't do that to you." he held his hand out to her, which she took and he pulled her close.
"Do you want to do this, Timmy? Do you want me?" she asked, putting her hand on his cheek.
"I want you." he assured her with a firmness in his voice, he squeezed her hand, adding, "I haven't stopped thinking about you since that day." he put his arms around her waist.
She let him close the space between them, she blushed and said, "Me either. I want to keep doing this. If you want to, I mean. We don't have to be boyfriend and girlfriend. It can just be sex."
He sighed, "Is twenty-eight too old to have a friends with benefits?" he chuckled. He looked down at her, "What are you doing to me?"
They held each other for a second, then he put his forehead on hers. She grinned, speaking softly, "I think a better question would be: what are you going to do to me?"
Timmy smirked, picking her up by the waist and setting her on the counter by the sink. He hands snuck up her dress, quickly pulling her panties down. He then parted her thighs and tucked his head between them.
Y/n, gasped as his warm tongue plunged between her folds. She was already wet, just anticipating this encounter. Waiting and wanting him for days, thinking about the way he was with her, so gentle but still the dominant force. It had all bubbled down to this moment. Finally, she could have him again.
His hands kept a firm hold on the outside of her thighs and he flicked his tongue over her clit over and over. He suckled at the tender nub, stimulating her to the point of making her shake.
Y/n grabbed a fistful of his curly hair. She let her head drop back as she felt the waves of pleasure run through her body. She held herself up, using her hands to anchor her on the cold surface of the counter. Her pussy throbbed, and she bucked her hips against his mouth. His fingernails dug into her legs, possibly leaving marks on her skin to last several days. Perfect, she wanted to be reminded of what he had done to her.
Timmy pushed back a little, looking up at her as he attacked her sensitive clit with his fingers. He rubbed circles there, and massaged back and forth, driving her crazy. He loved the way she moved in reaction to the pleasure he was giving her. It excited him to know that no one had seen her this way but him. No one had touched her like this. He was the only man to ever be inside her, using his fingers or his cock.
"Be a good girl and come for me, y/n. We don't have much time before they get suspicious out there." He warned, pumping his fingers steadily and curling them inside of her.
"Mmm." she cried, grabbing his wrist. "Feels so good." she cooed.
Timmy tucked his two fingers inside her, pumping and curling. He used his thumb to toy with her clit as well.
"Ahh!" the initial reaction to her orgasm was loud, but she stifled her own sound quickly, remembering that they were in a public restroom. She took a minute to calm down, placing her hand on her chest, feeling her heartbeat return to normal as she came down from her high.
"Ha, you made fucking mess." he said in amazement.
She looked down, seeing his hand covered in her cum. She felt really wet between her legs as well. "I squirted? Holy shit."
"Yeah, 'holy shit.'" Timmy said, still in disbelief, he shook his head as he looked at his soaking fingers. He then looked at her, standing up.
Y/n put her hands on his chest, holding herself up.
He put his hands on her waist, leaning in and kissing her hard. He pulled away, saying, "We gotta get out of here." He then grabbed some toilet paper and commenced to wiping her clean between her thighs.
"Oh, thanks." she said, shyly, letting him dab up her mess.
He threw the soiled paper away and washed his hands before helping her off the sink counter.
Y/n brushed against him, feeling how hard his cock was, she looked down, noticing the creasing around his crotch. "Timmy, you're so hard."
"Yeah, um," he opened the door, clearing his throat awkwardly, "you go on back to the table. I'm gonna head to my place. Just make up something as to why I had to leave. Come over, soon, please?" his hand brushed her arm as he pleaded with his sweet green eyes, his chocolate ringlets falling in front of them.
She nodded, "Of course. I'll leave soon, I promise."
"Good girl. I can't wait to see you." he gave her a subtle nod before walking away, leaving the restaurant.
Y/n made her way back to the table, feeling giddy from head to toe over the effect she had on Timmy. She made sure to come up with two good excuses for the evening: one for Timmy having to depart early, and one for her to leave by herself.

My Outsiders experience last night!!!
hey y'all sorry for how late i'm posting this 😭😭 i didn't think id be so tired but going to school and then all of that traveling to and from the show last night wore me outtt (slept until almost noon oopsies). i really wanted to post this right after the show when everything was all fresh in my mind but i just could not muster up the energy. that being said if you send any asks about certain things it'll probably revive my memory a little bit so i can give more details about it
anywho here it goes!!
Act 1
have to start off by saying this was suchhh a surreal moment when i sat down in the theater for the first time since ive been obsessed with the outsiders for years and years
one general thing that i will say is that for some reason i expected the stage to be like huge but when i saw how much smaller it was than i imagined it actually made me feel so much closer to the actors and more in the moment which i ended up loving!!!
another general note THERE WAS SO MUCH SPITTING IT CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD
when i opened the pamphlet and saw that the only understudy was andre in place of renni for steve and i knew for certain that brody was there,,,,y'all i was freaking out
i was watching the left side of the theater for bordy for like a solid twenty minutes and i almot SCREAMED when i saw him walking down the aisle
the show started almost immediately after that which i didn't expect so it kind of threw me off guard but as soon as it started me and my friend were squeezing ech others hands so hard for like 30 minutes straight (side note my wrist is bruised thats how hard we were doing it)
brodys. vocals. OH MY GOD. i wasnt all that big on brody when i first found out about the musical but m mutuals have in fact swayed me and hearing him live. wow.
him sitting in the audience was so so SO cool
maybe i'm just delusional BUT me and my friend both swore that we saw brent looking right at our section at us during tulsa 67 and my heart started RACING brent i love you
the way the cars come on stage??? is so fucking cool????
did NOT know they dropped his notebook in the water my jaw dropped and the high-pitched ringing when he goes unconscious oh my goddddd
ace's "you wish" while holding her ass was so fucking funny
jason was being so playful with brent!! for the first like ten minutes of the show he was like smacking him with his towel nonstop; also during ggah you could see darry and soda arguing off to the side and darry looked sooo done (i could make a whole post dedicated to brents performance...maybe i will actually) and the way he flipped the bat in his hand was cool as hell; also do one dropped anything during the song!!!
soda and two-bit's little moment during ggah when soda sings "keeping the prettiest one on your arm" had me laughing so hard
runs in the family was so sad :(( but brents vocals were FANTASTIC live. and soda FOLD THE DAMN LAUNDRY!!!! HE GAVE YOU THE LAUNDRY BASKET FOR REASON DONT JUST DROP IT ON THE FLOOR you're making the poor boy upset >:(
jason was being sooo funny when he's on the bed with pony. he kept doing little voices and he was being super sweet too, he was playing with pony's hair and rubbing his shoulders the whole time. "544 FUCKING PAGES?!"
the flashlights in great expectations were such an amazing touch
POOR JOHNNY he looked so scared when his parents were fighting. also i will never shut up about how amazingly they use the sets, keeping the door open with the distant sound of his parents fighting was such a smart move
friday at the drive in was phenomenal live; cherry kept trying to get bob to follow her and he kept pulling away, bob looked so done with it when cherry and chet started dancing, marcia was like alll over tripp on the hood of the car and then chet and (i think?) paul were just laying all cute on the car together; plus THE DANCE BATTLE OH MY GOD???? i cant remember if it was steve or two-bit (my brain wants to say two-bit tho) but one of them started thrusting into the ground and my jaw was on the floor
i could talk to you all night...the vocals...so beyond honored to hear emma and brody get to harmonize like that right in front of me
kwp your acting HOLY HELL!!! he genuinely made me jump when he started yelling at cherry. "is there a problem here, robert?" "EAT SHIT MARCIA!"
"cherry valance" "NO SHIT!!!"
brent's anger during ritfr was sooo beyond palpable, he made me jump when he threw the bills at soda. also jason was so good at looking dejected, picking up everything and putting it back ont he table than trying to hold darry back from pony
far away from tulsa made me cry for the first time during the show!!
THE CARS AGAIN OH MY GOD!!! and the drowning scene?? the sound of pony screaming under the water??? the lights going out as bob dies and flashing before it cuts to him bloody in the fountain???? beyond phenomenal
run run brother you will always be famous to me. the boards acting as trains??? oh my god
Act 2
jft was one of the songs i was most excited to see live and it was BRILLIANT i loved the flashlights. also marcia holding back from cherry...oughhhh my heart. TWO-BITS SCREAM BROKE MY HEARTTT. and emma's opt-up!!! beautiful
general note since i don't know where to add this DAN BERRY I LOVE YOU!!!
death's at my door had me SOBBING
once again brent's anger in his fight with dally was amazing, and then the direct lead in into titt oughhhh
titt also had me sobbing by the end oh my god
the poem scene was beautiful, i was taken back to being ten years old and rewinding that scene of the movie a million times and to see it live in front of me? an honor
"ITS GOLD LOCKS AND HER UGLY SISTER!" dally was hilarious this whole scene
soda's letter...brent finishing the last line...just kill me why don't you
dally was IN johnny's face during their argument he was sooo angry i was not expecting that
when i saw pony throw the cigarette i was just kind of like "oh he threw the cigarette" and then a few seconds later i was like WAIT WAIT NOOO
THE FIREEEEEE. IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO SO COOL OH MY GODDDDDDD
hoods turned heros vocals were AMAZING. also darry looked so happy and proud of pony and it made me all teary
hey so. so who was going to tell me that dally carries in johnny's body like that. also he was right, johnny looked so small :(
hopeless war was DEVASTATING. that's the end.
i will forever love the lead in to trouble, the song is short but so underrated. "once a greaser always a greaser" darry marry me now
loved watching kwp and sky sneak onto the stage during the rumble
SPEAKING OF THE RUMBLE. THE FUCKING RUMBLE???? I WILL N E V E R SEE SOMETHING AS COOL AS THAT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME EVER AGAIN. THE LIGHTING?? THE RAIN?? THE SOUNDS??? THEIR FACES BEING TERRIFIED COVERED IN BLOOD??? PONY ALMOST HITTING JOHNNY THEN STOPPING????? KILL ME NOW OH MY GOD
"pony...pony...come closer" y'all i am not exaggerating that when he's in the bed, johnny sounds like a scared little boy it broke my heart. also soda calling johnny buddy hurttt me :(
when johnny died my fucking heart BROKE. ace was in the background clutching her hair and full on SOBBING. pony on the ground??? and i saw other people say that jason goes to hold pony but at least for this show he liked sat behind pony and pulled in down so that they were both like laying on the ground with pony on top of him. pony pulling away too......:(
joshua boone the fucking MAN THAT YOU ARE. little brother only made me keep crying twice as hard as before. and guys. GUYS. JOSHUA BOONE, A FULL GROWN MAN, WAS SOBBING LIKE A LITTLE BOY THE WHOLE SOG. WHENEVER HE WASN'T SINGING YOU COULD HEAR HIM AUDIBLY SOB AND HIS WHOLE FACE CRUMBLED. HE CAME AND STOOF IN FRONT OF MY AREA DURING THE BREAK IN THE SONG AND JUST CURLED IN ON HIMSELF AND STARTED SOBBING. MY HEART.
his death scene....when pony starts talking about his death and he stands in the lights of the train, pony isn't talking super loud and you could hear josh whimper and his face crumble again and he just kept doing it over and over again like he was STILL crying from the song while he was dying
the dinner scene hurt like a BITCH. one of my favorite moments int he whole show was when brent walked over to the tv to shut it off and the whole stage was just silent. it really amplified the tension
pony beating on darry's chest :( and then brent was crying so fucking hard and then JASON was crying so fucking hard. and then cherry walking in and them both tryign to act normal. speaking of cherry the voice she uses to talk to pony HURT. ME. WHEN SHE'S ABOUT TO LEAVE AND HE DOESN'T ANSWER AND SHE JUST GOES "okay." I WAS CRYINGGGG. and then another fav moment was when she leaves and her, darry and soda all say bye, they were all so quiet about it and it felt so natural
PONY. CLUTCHING THE CLOTHES. BURYING HIS FACE IN THEM??? SODA STARTING TO READ THE LETTER TO PONY???????????
stay gold. i have no words. it was fucking beautiful and i sobbed like a baby.
also like i said i could make a wholeee post just on brent, but i need to say this now. BRENT. WAS SITTING AT THAT TABLE FOR A SOLID LIKE TEN MINUTES. JUST SOBBING. he kept looking like he was trying to compose himself like sucking in big breaths, but then his lip would quiver and his face would just crumble and the tear would start up again and and AUGHHHHHHHH it hurt so so so bad
pony saying his writing probably wasn't any good. "can I read it?" DARREL CURTIS YOU ARE BREAKING MY HEART!! and also soda's "am i in it :)?" and when pony says darry's in it too and darry goes "oh great." the whole crowd was laughing and then him telling pony to make sure he has great hair in the book so so funny
not enough people laughed at the green beans scene and it made me sad >:(
when pony looks at johnny during the finale...and then johnny looks at dally and they smile at each other....ohhhh my god
also when pony started singing about dally it broke my heart ESPECIALLY since i didn't know dally sings that part too
side note when it was a little ways into the finale song and darry and soda are still eating at the table, brent winked at jason and when jason turned i could see im smiling a little bit. i think it was brent's way of checking in wih jason and making sure he was okay, it was super cute tho
overall the finale song was fantasticccc
Stagedoor!!
andre came out first, he was super super sweet!!
then victor came out, he was also awesome!!!
y'all....when rj walked out i almost SCREAMED. he's the only one that i got a good pic with (its fine tho cuz my friend got pics of everyone else) but when he was signing my book he went "what's uppppp :)" and i was ready to fucking EXPLODE my heart was racing. and then my friend's mom manage to get a pic of him smiling at me with this big ass grin and i'm not even goign to lie i keep going back and looking at the picture every few hours my heart is full omg
next up was kwp and let me tell you guys...if i was fangirling over rj i dont even know what to say about me with kwp i was on another LEVEL. he is very very pretty and his voice is insanely charming when he's talking and he looked me in my eyes and i just.....yeah i'll never be normal about this
last up was josh boone and i was also geeking out so hard. he was like "what's going on :)?" and he was super nice, he made sure to get a pic with me after signing everyone's stuff around me and reassured me that he didn't forget about me like halfway through the signings he was just super super nice
okay guys this post is LONGGG but i had sooo much to say (and i still have more to say sooo...spam the inbox if you want more details bc i am MORE than happy to yap about it!!) overall i just feel so beyond honored to watch this happen live in front of me after spending years and years of my life in love with the outsiders. me and my friend are trying to go back soon and sit front row :)

Alright, just finished episode 3, and I'm putting some things together. As usual, spoilers ahead.
First off, Bible is a really good actor, and I'm so glad he got to debut with a company like BOC. His voice when he told Tyme how much fun he'd had had SO MUCH packed into it, especially when informed by the story about how he'd always wanted to play one as a kid. He was so happy someone wanted to spend that time with him. Ugh, my heart.
The forgiveness note was really telling this episode. Jes has done a really good job of portraying Tyme as someone who deeply struggles with empathy, probably too much. Where Great seems to be overwhelmed by emotion, Tyme's challenge is accessing it, and I find that contrast in their characters quite interesting. Tyme having hurt Great in the previous timeline isn't surprising. I'm actually starting to wonder if Tyme isn't the one manipulating Great's visions from the future. The conversation about intubating that patient really paints Tyme as someone who would fight fate tooth and nail.
Tonkla being a tweaker just made him 75 times more dangerous, and I feel like enough of us have seen Breaking Bad for me to eschew any further explanation save to say, uh, tweakers gonna tweak. Lanky cop is in for it.
I find it so interesting that Jes and Bible are going to fuck so nasty in the next episode BOC is sending out disclaimers like, "We're only going to let people over 65 into the theatre screening, guys. Shit got outta hand." Jes taking off his mask at the end of the episode doesn't strike me as something his character would have done in the original timeline, especially with all of Great's terrible first impressions. There's going to have to be a conversation, and so Great's definitely going to be on board with whatever's happening if he's letting Dr. Rizzless B.D. get it in.
Unrelated to the episode itself, I think I definitely like Jes and Bible better than Bible and Build in terms of acting. Build isn't a bad actor, but Bible is so phenomenally talented the benefits of having an experienced scene partner are evident. This is the benefit of switching up ships. It's only three episodes in and I'm the chemistry between these two is more insane than it ever was between Build and Bible. You don't make these happy little discoveries when you lock actors into ships.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT HAZBIN WAS SO FUCKING GOOD IM GOING INSANE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKENFKCMKWJRKFNSMSMDMSMDN-
Okay. Okay deep breaths. Time for some cool and collected comentary. Okay.
Putting it under the cut so ppl can avoid spoilers :)
HUSK USED TO BE AN OVERLORD!?!?!?!?!? HELLO!?!?!?!?!? FUCKIN PLOTTWIST OF THE CENTURY WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!?!?
Huskerdust my beloved
SIR PENTIOUS MY BELOVED
Vox was great. I love him he's so fucking cool-
If Vox wasn't already a Tumblr sexyman he's definitely gonna be one now. He's so fucking Onceler coded it's insane.
Velvette was amazing too. It's so funny that she's British lmao I was not expecting that
Velvette is also very Anne Boelyne(like from SIX not from Real Life) coded it's wild. Her part in that song with Carmila was giving so much Don't Lose Your Head
I swear I'll stop comparing them to other characters I SWEAR
Okay but me and my brother are working on a Hazbin Hotel swap AU where we swap the main cast with the overlords and in that AU we swapped Husk and Vox. The Husk used to be an overlord reveal is gonna make that AU soooooo much easier lmao
ADAM IS REALLY GOOD I promised I would stop comparing to other characters but he was giving SO MUCH Hades from Disney's Hercules like its insane
I think we should let Alex Brightman sing rocj and roll more often that song was such a fucking BANGER
SPEAKING OF THE SONGS- oh my god I love the soundtrack so fucking much-
Stayed Gone was a lil less hype then I was expecting but thats okay cuz it was still a banger and I loved the visuals
That song battle between Carmilla and Velvette????? Oh my god??????
Carmilla and Vaggie's song was also amazing but I think I know why they didn't have Stephanie Beatriz sing her own song in Elena of Avalor y'know, girl cannot hold a character voice while singing
LOSER WAS SO FUCKING GOOD- I love Huskerdust so much. I love Keith David so much. Blake Roman is such a phenomenal Angel Dust.
SPEAKING OF all the voice actors are amazing. Blake Roman, Brightman as Pentious and Joel Perez were the ones I was the most worried abt but I loved all their preformances so much it was fucking fantastic
Valentino can go die in a fucking hole <3
The other Vees are cool and fun to watch but I hope Valentino fucking dies
Okay to be fair he's also fun to watch when he's not in the same room as Angel Dust but tHAT DOESNT SUPERSEID MY HATRED FUCK 👏 THAT 👏 GUY 👏👏👏👏
Speaking of the Vees tho I do love their dynamic
My favorite episode was probably Radio Killed the Video Star bcuz of mY BOYS PENTIOUS AND VOX!!!!!!!!
And the most painful episode to watch was- no surprise- Masquerade
That episode was a fucking rollercoaster Jesus fucking Christ...
Those scenes with Angel and Valentino where so fucking visceral... like. Who the fuck wrote that. Who are you. Are you okay. Do you need help-
Tho I'm not sure abt how they're handling the ah- more serious bits of Angel's character. It is WAYYYYYY to early to tell and I think Loser wasn't like. Trying to downplay the situation. But the writers better have been careful moving foreward bcuz I can def see a world where Angel's arc goes very wrong very fast-
Also while we're criticizing: wasn't a fan of the pacing. Especially in episode two. Like I can look past it, but the way they breeze past some plot points kinda bugged me
Otherwise it was sooooooo fucking good man oh my god
THE HUMOR WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN PPL MAKE IT OUT TO BEEEEEE PPL NEED TO STOP SHITTING ON THE COMEDY IN THESE SHOWS MAN-
The gag where Niffty just fucking stopped thinking every time the camera turned on was so fucking good
Niffty in general was really fuckin funny
Alastor was a lot less prominent of a character then I thought he would be but tbh I think that's for the best. He's like Discord from My Little Pony, fun in small doses but if you don't set perameters for how often he appears and when he's willing to help it kinda breaks the show
Chaggie is adorable and I love them <3
I think this show does a really good job balancing the focus on the whole cast! These first 4 episodes seem to be pretty Charlie, Angel and kind of Vaggie heavy but everybody still gets their fair share of attention!
THE ANIMATIOJ OH MY GOD- IT WAS FUCKING PHENOMENAL IM LOSING MY M I N D
Im going feral IM GOING FERAL THIS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS AKFNVKKENFEKFNDN
I love comedy. I love musicals. I love drama. I love silly characters. I LOVE ANIMATION!!!!!!!
It's like the South Park movie but longer and better animated and IVE BEEN WAITING FOUR FUCKING YEARS-
Just. So excited overall. Can't wait to see where it goes. May make more posts abt my thoughts in tbe future.

LOTR Musical Chicago Experience (according to Katie)
I GOT TO SEE THE LORD OF THE RINGS MUSICAL IN CHICAGO! As promised, here’s a blog post detailing my experience, my opinions on the characters/plot portrayal, and basically everything else I’m still rotating in my brain after seeing it last night.
Audience Member Experience
After coming in off Navy Pier and into the theater (Navy Pier was cool too but that’s not why we were there), I started seeing Lord of the Rings fans. Some people even came in costume, which was fun. As we got closer to the beginning of the show, it got harder to tell cosplayers apart from actual actors cause… the actors were just there. Walking around, greeting the people, saying hello…
The show began at seven. At about 2 minutes til 7:00, they really began interacting. Our seats were on the main floor near the center, and Bilbo Baggins came out right in front of us, asking some of the people, “Who’s here for my birthday party?” we all responded enthusiastically, and then he shouted so the whole theater could hear, “WHO’S HERE FOR MY BIRTHDAY PARTY??” Then the entire theater sang the happy birthday song to Bilbo Baggins and applauded, but that wasn’t even the beginning of the show. Hobbits were walking around playing games with the audience. I heard Frodo introduce himself to some people behind us. Rosie was carrying around what I believe was a ring toss game.
At about four minutes after 7:00, the main character hobbits began to make their way from the audience and onto the stage, while ensemble members stayed throughout the audience to create the sense of really being there with them in the Shire. The Hobbits greeted each other, gave each other hugs, and everyone started playing instruments to indicate the beginning of the show.
I wouldn’t realize it until house lights finally went off, but they were still on through the whole first number! The actors looked like they were having a fantastic time. The prologue song was a rendition of the “Now and for Always” chorus sung by the hobbits, and then Bilbo said his iconic lines at his birthday party and ended up disappearing in a puff of smoke. When Bilbo said he was bequeathing everything to Frodo, this one actor far back in the audience started grumbling and telling everyone around him that was stupid, and I’m officially dubbing that guy Unidentified Sackville-Baggins Character.
After they began to tell the actual tale and Frodo’s journey began, the house lights finally turned off, and it was like, “oh, we were hanging out with hobbits in the Shire, and NOW we’re watching Frodo’s story after he leaves,” almost like we, the audience, were in the Shire the entire time.
The characters onstage played all of the music. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about that when I first heard about it at the watermill, but now having seen the show performed that way, it was AWESOME. It made everything feel very homey, like a story being told around a campfire, even though the effects for the epic parts were FANTASTIC (I’ll talk about that in a later part of the post).
The characters often showed the nature of their journey by trekking through the pathways in the audience. Act two began suddenly the the house lights going all the way off as Gollum suddenly appeared up in the audience, scurrying down and murmuring in the Gollum voice. (Sméagol’s actor was amazing, by the way. Amazing portrayal. 10/10.)
The audience interaction really made it feel like you were in the story, and it was absolutely so much fun. I could tell the actors agreed.
Casting and Character Portrayal
This is the casting we saw:
With the following cast update:
As you can see, Sam’s understudy played Legolas in the show I saw. He did a fantastic job. He kinda looked like a Sam to me? But that’s probably just because I saw that in the program. His acting was phenomenal and I could tell he was having a great time with the role (especially singing Lothlorien, which, of course. Singing that song is so much fun.)
The rivalry to friendship of Legolas and Gimli was portrayed fantastically. Both characterizations were spot-on and their catfighting from the very establishment of the Fellowship was very entertaining. While a lot of the show was understandably abridged from the original plot, leaving less room for a full development of the relationship, but their journey to understanding each other as friends was beautiful nonetheless, and one of the main things that stood out to me as far as the well-portrayed character development in the show.
Sam and Frodo were phenomenal. The portrayal of their relationship, the good parts and the bad parts, Frodo’s descent as the Ring affects him more and more paired with Sam’s unwavering loyalty—that was one of the things done best about the show. Sam embodied the role, and when he grunted in determination as he picked up Frodo to carry him over his shoulders, the entire audience burst into applause. It was such a wholesome moment because of how well their relationship was done.
Arwen and Aragorn’s romance was done about as well as I could have hoped for given the length of the show and how much of the rest of the plot was going on. It was sweet and given many moments, but there wasn’t tons of development there. However, it touched on the parts that were most important to the plot, and I definitely enjoyed them.
Merry and Pippin were chaotic and played amazingly. Nothing more to say there. Just. Fabulous. 🙃
Boromir!! They did my guy Boromir justice, from his initial hesitance, to the true development of why he sees the Ring as a possibility for good, to the unwavering way he cares for his people and their wellbeing, to the way his honor remained even in his worst moment… it was really good. His death scene made me cry. Aragorn holding Boromir as he died 😭 I don’t even remember their exact dialogue but I was like wow you might as well just kill me now 😢 I went from giggling at “GIVE ME THE RING wait no I didn’t mean it I’m sorry stay with me—“ (yes that was the exact wording he used) to absolutely sobbing over his death. YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO DO THAT TO ME (they did it was in the books)
Galadriel… :/ okay so the actress was very talented. Like, insanely good. I just would have done Galadriel’s character differently, and I think she was done differently in other productions of this show. She was a powerhouse for sure, but her scrunched expressions on long notes and moments of growling and the way she walked were giving “sassy girlboss” which was fine but not really what I was expecting for her character. So… do with that what you will.
Arwen’s character was portrayed amazingly. She usually only showed up to be in love with Aragorn, which was unfortunate, but the way she was done by the actress was an absolute 10/10. She was so graceful and tender and strong-willed and beautiful and just. Arwen vibes.
I don’t even have anything to say about Sméagol/Gollum. Just… perfect. Amazing. I can’t even describe how well he did the character. Imagine Sméagol in your head and that’s him. The script also did justice to his internal conflict, which I appreciated so much!
Effects
They gave a strobe lights warning but they did NOT tell me they were going to be flashing lights right at my eyes 😭 if you’re sensitive to lights at all, just don’t go to see it. Take care of yourself.
That said, if you can handle it, it was AWESOME. During the “you shall not pass” scene, they had a black tarp waving near the ground with projections of fire on it. It created a seriously awesome lava effect. They were also flashing white lights directly into the audience during the whole thing, which I think was purposefully disorienting while Gandalf ended up disappearing.
The Shelob scene featured an ACTUAL GIANT SPIDER ONSTAGE. I mean not a live spider, it was a puppet I guess? I have no idea how they did it. But it took up the entire stage and it was terrifying. People with arachnophobia DO NOT LOOK.
The effects were genuinely awesome the entire show. I can’t do them justice with description, but the use of their set pieces and lights and fog genuinely made for a great stage fantasy experience.
Other Stuff
The show began right before 7:00 with the interaction as I mentioned before, and bows ended at 10:15. So the actual show was 3 hours, with a fifteen minute intermission.
The adaptation of the plot was very abridged, as I may have mentioned, because of entire the run time being the length of one LOTR movie (which is already a slightly abridged LOTR adaptation). Minor plot points/middle sized plot points were diminished in favor of major plot points and character development, which I think was appropriate for the medium. You could tell where the time skips were, of course—Frodo puts on the ring in the prancing pony and suddenly he’s been stabbed by the witchking and is recovering in Rivendell. And a lot of the plot of Return of the King that didn’t involve Sam and Frodo just vanished. But again, I wasn’t expecting a fully faithful adaptation of every plot point in three hours, and I truly believe the spirit of the Lord of the Rings was captured in this production.
Some of the best and most famous quotes were done basically word for word, which I really appreciated. I did feel like I was immersed in the world of Tolkien’s books, with a dash of the Peter Jackson movies and lots of really well composed music.
If you have any specific questions about my experience at the show, certain scenes or songs, etc, send me an ask or a DM because I could absolutely continue to talk about this show. I’m in love with it and I’m so lucky that I got to see it. If any of you get the chance, I highly recommend it!

“How long?”
Maybe it was too good to be true. Wasn’t that always the case? He was almost too sweet, practically worshiping the very ground you walk on. You didn’t miss the signs—the coming home late, the smell of unfamiliar perfume, hickeys he swore that you left on him—but the fucker had a way of easing your pretty little mind, making you think that it was all in your head. He almost had you fooled, but tonight, after a few too many glasses of scotch, his drunken state made him admit to everything.
“Bon’, ah swear, ah ne’er meant tae-” Johnny begins, outstretched hands reaching out to grab your forearms, hot tears streaming down his beet-red face.
“How. Long?” You grit your teeth, shutting your eyes to avoid glaring daggers into the one person you thought would never hurt you.
“Only once, bon’, ah swear it,” his voice trembles, fingertips digging into the flesh of your arms as he pulls you closer.
You already knew about the affair, but the confession that fell from his lips made your heart drop from your stomach to your fucking toes.
“Do you love her?”
“Nae. God, nae. Could ne’er.”
When you finally make eye contact again, you nearly crumble, those cerulean eyes you fell in love with all glossy with tears and full of remorse—but how were you to know that it wasn’t all a ploy? Liars make phenomenal actors. He had you fooled for weeks.
Still, you move to the edge of your chair and cup his pretty face in your hands. All you can do is look down at him for a while, remember all the times he promised that you were the only woman for him, the only one he could ever love, the only one who could make him feel as good as you could. All lies that you were so eager to believe because surely your Johnny would never betray you like this. Ignorant bliss.
“Bon’, please, ah love ye more than anythin’. Lemme make it up t’ye, please,” Johnny begs, leaning into the gentleness of your touch, taking advantage of your love like he always does.
If it means those pitiful tears will stop, you’ll do anything. So you let him lead you up the stairs, let him lay you on the bed, let him eat you out and make you come the way he does best. You spread your legs for him and let him make love to you, let him kiss you with that mouth that fed you all those delicious fibs. The mouth that kissed another woman, that made her writhe in pleasure. The mouth that could turn honey into the sweetest, most addictive mead.
You let Johnny fuck himself stupid, even let him cum inside you for what he doesn’t know is the last time. He peppers your face with sloppy kisses that you can only assume are hollow, full of deceit. He passes out next to you and you watch his chest rise and fall with each deep breath, sleeping so peacefully you’d never guess he’d just admitted to breaking your heart, your trust, his vows. It’s a good thing you don’t have to guess on what you already know to be fact.
More for yourself than for him, you plant one final, soft kiss to his rosy lips, taking comfort in the fact that he’ll never get the satisfaction of knowing that it would be the last. You climb out of bed and slip off your wedding ring, leaving it right in the middle of his nightstand for him to see first thing in the morning. You clean yourself up with Johnny’s discarded shirt and toss it back on the floor, leaving it stained and ruined with the last of your shared fluids, a reminder of everything he threw away.
You pull on a pair of shorts as well as a comfy sweatshirt, then stuff a small bag to the brim with your favorite clothes and shoes. You try to avoid anything sentimental that reminds you of Johnny—the dress he bought you on your second wedding anniversary, the wooden box full of jewelry he would bring back from all the countries he went to. They hold too many fond memories that you’re sure would take you right back to him if you dwell on it long enough. The only way to move on is to leave it all behind.
So you do. You pack up your car and drive the streets aimlessly, fighting back stinging tears to keep your eyes focused on the road. Every song that comes on the radio reminds you of the man that was supposed to be yours and yours alone, so you settle for turning it off altogether and listening to the raindrops plummeting against your windshield. Fitting, isn’t it, for there to be a raging thunderstorm on the worst night of your life? Looming, dark and ugly, like the nasty secret Johnny kept from you.
You debate on finding a hotel to stay at, but that would mean having to spend Johnny’s money and you didn’t want to do that. Fuck, you’re dreading going through with everything—hiring a divorce lawyer and going to court, separating your bank account from his, finding a job and a new place to live—it’s all too much to handle. Too much to even think about right now. This is your worst nightmare, right here in front of you, with sharp claws and glowing red eyes, grabbing you by the scruff of your neck and swallowing you whole.
Part of you wants to turn around and welcome Johnny back into your heart with open arms, but you’re not so sure that any words or acts he can muster up are enough to mend the shattered pieces that become you. Broken can’t fix broken—you know that all too well, learned it when Johnny confided in you about what he does for a living. You should have known this would all end in heartbreak.
That doesn’t stop you from driving down an all-too familiar road, past the evergreens and into a rural heaven that contains your best friend—damn the fact that he’s Johnny’s mate, too. You need comfort from a trusted person, and who better than the one who was the first to let you know about Johnny’s infidelity?
As you knock on the wooden door to Kyle’s house with your bag in hand, the smiling man seems all too happy to invite you in.

Love interest ranking from Love and Deepspace go
Oh fuck yeah. So for the current boys:
‼️also be warned for spoilers regarding the game and myths and also my own theories‼️
Read more cause this got long
1. Zayne- he’s a doctor for one thing, and that’s something that I tend to gravitate towards. (Harvey in Stardew Valley, Charles in Coral Island, hell even Mr. Silvair is doctor enough for me LMAO)
Ice Evol. Can make it snow whenever I want and make me cute little ice things that never melt. Can you imagine an ice tiara? God that would be so pretty.
He’s pretty autistic-coded too lmao as an AuDHD person I feel seen. He’s also got my kind of humor and I would have so much fun actually bantering with him.
His myths and timelines are tragic. There’s speculation he actually killed us when we were younger (I can expand on this if people want to know). He sacrifices himself for us every time. As Foreseer, he saw every one of our lives together and defied a fucking God so that we could live.
When it comes to Dawnbreaker, I made a specific Cinders for him because I love him so much. He just needs hugs and love and affection. I could ramble on forever about Zayne, honestly. #1 Husband.
2. Sylus- do I really need to say more LMAO he jumped up to husband status the moment I saw how supportive and caring he was in his tete-a-tete.
His voice actor is phenomenal and he has so much emotion and range in his voice alone. I actually find his singing and humming charming hehe. In that new snippet released about the twins, he probably cured Kieran of his protocore syndrome which is sick as hell. Which means his powers of healing can extend to others and not only himself.
His dragon myth made me cry like a lil bitch. I think it was mentioned somewhere in it that when they’re in their full dragon forms, they lose control and go in a frenzy like state. He actually fought for control to save us. Plus that scene in the flower field? Uggghhhhh my heart.
Sylus overall gives me big protective teddy bear vibes. He won’t care what I look like, he cares about my heart and my soul. He doesn’t care about playing games or whatever, he’ll get straight to the point with his feelings and will talk and ACTIVELY LISTEN to mine. He makes me feel safe and secure and seen in a different way. Plus the double checking for consent? Yes, daddy.
3. Rafi- okay Rafayel gets 3rd automatically just because I’m also a Pisces and I looooove merfolk-based characters. Take me swimming in the ocean and help me make friends with whales and sea turtles please.
My only qualm with him is the brattiness. I’m not big on bratty men tbh. I hate it when men are needy and whiny towards me lmao (sexually is a different story- I mean what)
He’s very sweet and loving in his memories which I adore. I had my reservations about him with the way he led us into danger by taking us to the Nest but I eventually realized he also did it in hopes that we would start to remember.
Also I love the Sea God and I screech like a pterodactyl whenever I see him emerge.
4. Xavier- you think he’d be higher considering my taste in toxic possessive fictional men. I think, overall, his character is super interesting and I love that he cares so deeply about us. I mean, he fucking moved into the apartment above us to continue watching out for us lmao I have a feeling he’s been watching us ever since he saved us. Everything he does is for us whether or not even he realizes it.
His interactions with Jeremiah are hilarious when he gets jealous. I love his annoyed voice too, like when we caught him almost blowing up his apartment. Don’t worry Xayxay bae, I’ll cook for you uwu
The qualm I have with him is that he left our queen version and because he hasn’t found the protocore for Philos, he hasn’t gone back. And instead, he fell in love with us. Is he just going to ditch her and the promise of eloping? Is he going to leave current us? Who knows. I have issues with that lmfao.
5. Caleb- not a lot is known right now but I have a feeling he’ll either tie with Sylus or boot him out of second.
