fun trivia fact: July 4th isn't actually Steve Rogers' birthday, the government used today's date for their Captain America stuff. sadly, there hasn't been any confirmation about when Steve's real birthday is, so fans can't officially celebrate Steve himself :( but it is confirmed that Bucky is one of the only ones who still remembers his real birthday so Bucky definitely makes each year special for Steve <3

Of course I'm aware of the headcanon. But I love the fandom hype we get on a set date and I loove kid Steve Bucky stories where they watch fireworks in celebration. You know that famous headcanon where Bucky told Steve that the fireworks are for him? Also how the young men couldn't afford anything else than just watching fireworks together and that was more than enough for Steve?

Also imagine if Steves birthday is actually 4th July? Now everyone thinks it's a propaganda piece. So it's one other thing that got taken away from Steve when he signed himself up to be government property.

He agreed to help win a war but ended up having his identity stolen from him making him unto a display piece for political agenda. Now nobody even believes his real birthday and they are trying to find what his real birthday is because ironically it fell on July 4th. Also he can't enjoy fireworks anymore because it brings flashbacks of war.

What a little legend.#The crowd comments about LWJ being 'daddy' and WWX being 'the mother' are a little too 'fan-service bait' for me.#So I am personally reimagining it as another layer of 'misinterpretation of a more complex situation' commentary.#I like how the different styles of interacting with children WWX an LWJ exhibit say so much about their own childhoods.#We - human beings in the real world - take two lessons from how we were parented: What we valued and what we wish we had.#LWJ leaning into indulgence is him pushing back against his own childhood of asceticism. It's something he didn't have - so he gives it.#WWX on the other hand has been *so* defined by his drive to indulge. And here he is the restrictor!#It takes a bit more to see what's going on here. In Wind's Era, Legend is in Mermaid form and swimming in the water next to the pirate ship, he calls up to Wind-

Legend - "Wind! What is that at the bottom of the ocean!? Do you know!?"

Wind - "Oh, that's Hyrule Castle! It was recently filled with water because the seal to protect it broke!"

Legend looks down in the water then back up a few times - "I wanna explore it."

Wind - "I mean, I feel like we should tell the others-"

THUD THUD THUD THUD-

Time comes running up and dives into the water putting the Zora's mask on, and transforming mid-air, diving in next to Legend yelling - "NOT WITHOUT ME!"

Time pops his head up for 2 seconds to yell - "Twilight is in charge! We will be back in a few hours!" and dives down.

Legend laughs, shrugs, waves goodbye and dives in after him.
