Genuinely, the mere thought that OPLA may have accidentally confirmed that Crocodile is trans is making me go absolutely apeship (also this being accidentally "revealed" by Luffy's actor saying things he shouldn't say is such a Luffy Thing To Do, it's absolutely amazing)
But I swear to god if I see one more news article or YouTube video titled "OPLA made Crocodile A WOMBYM?!??!?" I am going to nuke this entire planet out of orbit
#THE ENTIRE POINT OF CROCODILE MAYBE BEING TRANS IS THAT HE ISN'T A WOMAN#HOW FUCKING DENSE ARE YOU PEOPLE#I just want to be Extremely Normal about Sir Crocodile why does the fandom have to Be Like This#Moon posting#For the record Crocodile is not the trans masc rep One Piece needs#Like the first trans man in the story being a bastard who borderline attempted genocide is not like. Yeah not the rep we need#He is simply the trans masc rep I personally want#It sparks joy#Like I don't know why but it does. It makes me unreasonably happy and Extremely Normal#(And I'm not even saying that because it'd make dudebros mad and that'd make me feel a lil >:3c)

okay i can't find them so ill just try to explain it again
A very important part of Vil's character is his gender non-conformity and his distaste for gender roles, he's shown to take it extremely serious and has gotten angry on several occasions whenever he saw gender roles being pushed into things.
The transfem vil hc was created because people saw vil's feminity as proof of him "actually being a woman" which is an extremely harmful mindset to both cis and trans people (especially gnc trans people who also constantly get harassed and excluded by the lgbtq+ community trans people included for simply not following stupid made up gender rules) it takes a character who's entire goal is to break gender roles and stereotypes and shoves it back into that small set of rules for their own comfort.
People who have this hc like to call anyone that disagrees with it transphobic but multiple trans people (including transfems) have pointed out and talked about how this hc is problematic and ive even seen discussions on how vil would be harmful transfem rep if he actually was one (though i cannot speak on that as i am a trans masc)
I know a lot of people like to use vil's jp pronouns as another proof of his transfem coding but quite honestly it just further proves this hc is nothing but a way to push gender roles into a character that was made specifically to break it as the pronouns vil uses are gender neutral pronouns, but because of the vast majority of people that use them being women they take that as vil calling himself as a woman instead of a man calling himself by pronouns that don't fit the norm.
it is a harmful headcanon because it pushes the mindset that anyone who is feminine is a woman which implies that to be a real woman one must be feminine, and that to be a man one must be masculine, which is a transphobic mindset at its roots.
this is extremely poorly explained and i promise ive made way better posts but my head is hurting and my brain really doesn't seem to want to work with me to make this better so i hope this is a somewhat good explanation as to why it's a problematic hc coming from a gender nonconforming trans person and please excuse any mistakes here i have adhd and my brain is not it rn
Bro what's the hate for transfem vil I thought we were good with it

gonna ramble about Gender and how the fuck it goes on in the GFS cast now. did anyone ask? no. am i doing it anyway? yeah, cause im thinking about Gender and now i wanna talk about it
taglist @the-gay-lady-of-ravenclaw-tower @stormharbors, @citywillow (eyyy it worked this time), @timelybees
feel free to ignore lmao it's not super plot-relevant, but its... kinda? probably? character relevant. if ur curious it's under the cut, in order of narrators
so Angel's gender is lesbian. like, they very much say "fuck gender". their gender is "i like girls". that's established in the 2nd scene of the entire book. she uses she/they and i tend to just... pick a pronoun for each scene and stick to it? when i'm rambling about them on tumblr i switch it up because i dont Care but in-story, i stick to one per scene. But yeah angel doesn't really... have a gender in a normal acceptable cis girl way, in Modern Earth Terms she'd probably (?) use 'agender'. although i feel like them using she/they means people would assume she's, like, a demigirl, and that's cool! in my head she is simply genderqueer/nonbinary and is only specifically agender if i'm *pressed* to choose.
Bea's a cis girl, she/her, nothing Schmancy, she's a cool ally (transphobia doesn't really. exist systemically in GFS but like she's nice about everything).
Hope's genderfluid/multigender, she/he/they. he's kind of just chilling and one of the only characters who will switch pronouns mid scene, because their gender actually switches. Her relationship with her gender is pretty much just "meh. it changes. i dont care" although the one thing is when he's a guy, he's not okay with fem terms at all. (masc terms when female and gendered terms when agender are fine though.) I don't know or care what their AGAB is, btw.
Corey's a trans guy, he/him. he's Really Fucking Attached to his gender. Being a guy is important to him. Important note: corey grew up/is in an abusive as fuck environment, and while he doesn't face shit for being trans in a "trans is bad" way, his mother just... doesn't want to spend money on making him happier. So his 'transition' is very much "oliver cuts my hair at the kitchen sink, i burn my dresses, i borrow clothes from my fellow odd little gender gremlins, you call me 'corey' and 'he' or i stab you". also magic HRT & magic top surgery are Things in this world and they're Things he gets. eventually. at some point.
Oliver's my little genderqueer gremlin. he mostly uses 'he' because gender is a scam anyway and he forgets that Most People see 'he' as a gendered word, but they're cool with 'they' too. he and angel kinda have the same gender, though his sometimes fluxes to more masculine while hers doesn't. oliver is the one most likely to be called 'bad' enby rep because he uses 'they' in, like, 3 scenes per book, but... he doesn't fucking care, bud. see above 'gender is a scam'. call him a man, a boy, a void, he, they, sir, ma'am, mx, even she if you really wanna, just don't call them a woman (girl's fine tho) and we're good. his gender is lazy. he wouldn't date someone only attracted to women (e.g. angel, a lesbian) but other than that... anything goes.
Rowan's gender.... oh boy. she's afab and uses she/her which is enough to make everyone assume she's a girl, and they're right. she's a girl. the thing is. the back of her mind says 'i'm more than one, my gender is girl but it's ALSO something else'. she's bigender, definitely. she/it/they. she doesn't use it till the very last book and it's basically a "corey and tasya only" privilge to know she uses 'it' but she does. (they publically switch to she/they.) It's partially because rowan's aro-allo & kinda loveless and feels like that affects their abilities to be a Proper Girl, and partially because just ever since it was little rowan felt like it just Had more than one gender. she's always been that way. basically rowan is a bigender girl/xenogender person and i love her and she's not she/her, it's she/it/they but... that's a thing they don't acknowledge for themself till the Very Very end.
was there a point to this post??? yes. characterization. also the fact that i have One binary dude in my cast... interesting.
but basically short version: angel's gender is No with a side of 'vaguely fem perhaps, in the lesbian sense', bea's is girl, Hope's is Yes, corey's is boy, oliver's is Meh, and rowan's is 'girl but also no but also yes but also xenogender but also the fucking VOID'.
have a nice day drink water and if you read this whole post... wow. thanks

Axel: You sure you’re okay? I can see your-
Saïx: It’s none of your concern.
(Implied XemSai in the background)
I have some Saïx headcanons to share with a load of screenshots to illustrate, but some of those images are from KH3 (no story spoilers, just some outfit spoilers mostly), so read at your own risk. Thanks to @crystallineabyss for the gonial angle info!
So. Headcanon: Saïx | Isa is AFAB/DFAB
I’m not naive enough to think it would ever be confirmed, nor do I really think Nomura had a reason to do this deliberately, given Japan and Disney aren’t exactly huge proponents of positive LGBTQ representation. HOWEVER, I do think it’s possible that someone on the modeling team wanted to sneak rep in under the radar? Allow me to explain:
I’m not saying this is canon. However, the basis for this HC is 100% based on demonstrable canon facts, and only enhanced by a few theories/assumptions. I’ve tried playing Devil’s Advocate against myself to DISPROVE this theory, but every attempt I’ve made to find inconsistencies in canon material has failed, and I’ve instead only uncovered more and more evidence.
First and foremost is body type (hip alignment, weight distribution, etc). There is no denying that Saix (and Isa) have a very noticeable hourglass figure:
Evident in KH2, but consistent in all appearances, including Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3:
and
So that’s part of it-
This in stark contrast to, say, Axel:
His whole upper body is honestly built more similarly to Kairi, Namine, and Xion. But he hides it well with those huge padded shoulders.
Notably, he’s the only one with a chest with a profile like this.
I’ll compare his BBS model with Lea. Please also note the faux sideburns, the baggy clothing, and the coat worn in a way to disguise a narrow waist and wide hips:
Notably, this is Saix in the foreground:
His shoulder/chest/bust is all very similar to kairi, but here’s another angle;
Lastly, let’s talk about gonial angle. Many thanks to @crystallineabyss for this info:
Saix's gonial angle indicates he very likely would've been afab whereas lea's is definitely amab
The gonial angle is something that is used to sex a body - mostly skeletal remains. It's a trend that helps ascertain if someone was likely afab or amab in life An angle of under 120° is generally masculine, and one over 120° is feminine
I also want to mention that his nastiness to Xion in particular in Days could be some form of projecting internalized self hatred. He also sees her as a literal doll, calls her ‘it’. You get the idea. That’s not proof, but it definitely supports rather than refutes this, given how poorly he handles his own negative feelings in general.
Edit: @xigsai raised another good point; Saix sits with his legs crossed at the knee, which is often uncomfortable and uncommon for someone who is AMAB since uh. Things get squished. His sitting posture definitely stood out to a number of people I’ve spoken with as odd:
I could definitely dig up more examples but this honestly is plenty. The most baffling aspect is that nomura’s art also is in line with this theory, when i assumed he wouldn’t be the one pushing for this. It’s just ludicrous to think Japan circa 2005 would have deliberately pushed this agenda in a high profile, mainstream game. But the facts are what they are, and there’s too much evidence for it to be pure coincidence. It’s too consistent, ZERO inconsistencies, in fact.
Again, this is not CANON because it has not been confirmed. But it is a reasonable HC given the facts presented. Personally, I would love to have good, respectful representation. If one WAS going to do so- not with symbolism but just simply by inclusion, then Saix is a perfect example of how one WOULD do so. If you didn’t know, AFAB = assigned female at birth. I’m saying Saix easily could be trans masc, and all evidence supports it, but it has not been confirmed and likely never will be. I love him either way, tbh. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
EDIT: I have a few more images to add to this, just to illustrate the differences in body shapes-
NOT TO SCALE- Gummiphone images are NOT TO SCALE. Note that Saix’s coat IS unzipped, but like Larxene and Xion, the zipper hangs loosely enough that it appears closed, indicating that his HIPS are the widest diameter in contact with the coat (below his chest).
and lastly, here’s the side by side of the BBS image I updated in the body of the post:
#saix#isa#kingdom hearts#jeredu art#headcanon#theory#you don't have to subscribe to this theory#i've just legit never seen anyone else suggest it before

Trans ask-thingy
I should have really seen this coming when I made @a-chilleus do all the questions earlier :’)
1. what is your gender? nonbinary, transmasc. I would say male but the lack of fucks I give about having a dick makes me question it
2. what are your pronouns? He/him or they/them. He/him mainly as its easier for people to use
3. what is your gender presentation like? In a word. Gay. I love dungarees but also mostly wear super skinny jeans & floral/very jazzy shirts. I love rainbows & stripey tops as well as crop tops & cut-off vests. I don’t really wear any jewellery other than my ear piercings, ‘the one ring’ from LOTR that my Dad made & the flag bracelets I made (Trans, ace & gay)
4. what is your Gender Euphoria Outfit? Not sure really but a t-shirt/shirt that is loose enough to hide my hips & not feel uncomfortable but fitted enough to show off my frame. Probably black skinny jeans & one of my many floral shirts with my glittery gold brogues
5. what makes you feel validated? Being called the right pronouns, people seeing my as male/non-binary without any doubt about my identity (e.g. my housemate treating me just like she does her other male friends automatically because she forgets people see me as ‘female’, or people saying they could never see me as female). Also, people not being surprised by my femininity when inhabiting queer spaces as I’m just a camp guy
6. top five favorite parts of your body (n why you love them)? I like my hair as it was really blond but I like it now it’s dyed red & its still soft & fluffy. I like my freckles because they constantly multiply & are cute af. I like my eyes because they’re electric blue & so detailed with flecks of greyer blue. I like my collarbones as I like fiddling with them. Finally, I like my neck because although I want a deeper voice & stuff my neck looks cool in pictures sometimes.
7. favorite trans meme/bit of trans humor? I also like the very common trans names like @a-chilleus said. Me & my housemate have a joke where I loudly (& in a panicked tone) go “where is my dick?!!!” & act like i’m frantically looking for it because it makes us laugh. I just like most trans memes because they’re relatable and cis people don’t get them
8. how did you pick your name? Can’t really remember other than it being between Elliot & Robin & then me realising I really didn’t like Elliot cause its close to my deadname. I don’t really like Robin either so now I need to find a new one
9. what does your name mean? apparently it means ‘fame-bright’ & is of French & German origin
10. do you have any trans pride merch? I like it being called ‘merch’ like we’re a band! I have a trans-flag woven bracelet I made, a trans flag, a number of gender-related t-shirts including the Stonewall one & ‘Gender does not define a dragon’ & a fuck tonne of pronoun badges & pin/enamel badges
11. recent happy trans moment? Meeting Esme (@a-chilleus) & talking trans stuff with them whilst on camp & then just like hinting to our friends Gareth &Lizzy that I was a raging tran by showing them pictures where I have a trans flag around me & being in the men’s changing-room with them. Like honestly that was so freeing cause we got to educate our (very accepting) cis friends on some memes & hard shit & I got to overshare so much 😉
12. favorite trans headcanon? Trans Peter Parker. It makes so much sense to me & I’d love the representation.
13. favorite canon trans character? Non-binary Aziraphale & Crowley (Good Omens) is fully cannon as they’re angels & I’m still in love with it! Jake in Tales of the City is an awesome trans character too & I love him
14. favorite trans blog(s)/trans blogger(s)? definitely @a-chilleus because they have the same interests as me, @born2jasper because Jasper is my best buddy at uni & when he does blog it’s cool shit
15. favorite trans celebrity? Oh my. Fox Fisher does amazing work for trans activism & they’re a cutie. Elliot Fletcher I’ve been a fan of since he was regularly on a trans youtube channel & now hes been in TV shows & repping the trans community. Laverne Cox of course. Indya Moore for their no-shit attitude.
16. song that gives you Big Trans Feels? Wrabel- The Village, is literally about being trans & having no-one in your family accept you but it being “something wrong with the village” rather than it being about you being wrong. It was written after Trump did all the shit things to trans people. Literally the line “it’s a lie though, burying disciples, one page of the bible isn’t worth a life” makes me cry cause of all the trans people who feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel for them. The music video left me sad but it’s an amazing song
17. something you wish you could tell your younger self? You’re not broken, & your friends have your back & will accept and love for who you are, not who you pretend to be. Society is gonna fuck you up but you’re stronger than you think
18. what would your Ideal Fashion Look be?
i mean i’m living my idea fashion look tbh
19. (how) does your gender relate to your sexuality? Just makes me gayer but I’m still ace so…
20. do you have a comfort item? Blankets mostly at uni cause I snuggle under them/with them cause that helps my sensory overload calm down. Big comfy jumpers are good for when I feel like hiding my body
21. what makes you feel euphoric? When strangers call me ‘he’, when dogs like me, when I’m accepted into a new group as ‘one of the lads’. When I look more masc face-wise (if that makes sense)
22. what genre of media would you love to see more trans characters in? all genre’s tbh as there is a lack in every genre. But definitely fantasy & action. I’d love to see a bad guy get slapped with a packer to distract them because the trans hero had nothing else to throw :’)
23. claim something as trans culture. Walking around going ‘masc masc masc’ or ‘lads lads lads’ is trans culture
24. give some love to your trans friends/mutuals (alt: give some love to the trans community in general) I’ve tagged the ones I know mostly but to every trans person who sees this. YOU’VE DOING SO GREAT, YOU LOOK GREAT, YOU’RE VOICE IS WONDERFUL. YOU ARE SIMPLY KILLING IT!!
25. what’s your favorite part of being trans? Tbh the memes are pretty solid. But honestly, it’s the community you find in each other when you need It, it’s the joy of finding out someone else you know is trans, it’s the celebration of the little &big things together. I especially enjoy knowing there are people that get why I have to triple check that I’m flat before going anywhere, the cis friends who will go into men’s bathrooms with me to scope them out & just the re-defined masculinity & femininity.
