What I Hope For Season 2 - Song Version!:

Angel and Husk duet - A soft love song. I can just imagine them doing a really soft version of Loser, Baby while slow dancing. But yeah, I'd just be happy for a soft love song or a slow dance but preferably both!

Charlie and Vaggie duet - Their song was beautiful in season 1 but too short! I don't care if it's another tender love song or if it's something more fun and upbeat about them standing by each other or something but I just want a full length song with them.

The Vees - We were robbed of not having Velvette join in on the Vee's part in the final song and now, to make up for it, I want an epic villain song with all three of them! I'm talking Hellfire/Be Prepared level of awesome villainry!

Velvette - I just love her voice so I don't care what it is, I just want another song for her.

Lucifer and Lilith - I would prefer a flashback to a corny song they sang either when they first fell in love or maybe when they first found out they were expecting Charlie. But you know, I'd take something angsty between them so long as they're still clearly in love for it.

Niffty - I've heard her actress sing and she deserves a song. Extra points if it's a duet with Alastor.

I JUST WATCHED THE LAST EPISODES OF HAZBIN HOTEL SEASON 1 AND O.M.G AHHHHHH

2. just vaggie in general, I’m so happy she has her wings back but does that still make her a fallen angel? Bc she may be in hell but she got her angel wings back whilst in hell, lucifer has wings but wasn’t he one of the serenes or smth? (Dunno how to spell it soz)

3. CHARLIE AND ALASTORS DEAL STOPPP.

I know she had to make the deal or she wouldn’t be alive still but think abt how it gonna affect her in the future? Alastor may gain power and honestly make Charlie do anything (as long as it doesn’t inlove violence) and Charlie has to do it bc that’s the deal she made

4. SIR BLODDY PENTIOUS IDK HOW TO SAY HIS NAME BUT OMH

I didnt Like him a lot before but viv decided to rip my soul out and stomp on it bc I love him sm now and I’m so sad he died 😭 atleast hes Been redeemed and in heaven but he’s not gonna see the others 😭😭

A video made some weeks ago about Hazbin Hotel Swap AU. I won't make a comic because i hate making AUs long term projects since i never finished one but those AI Covers are so good to make silly animatic like this and maybe i will show some colored artwork of the swapped characters.

Little CONTEXT:

Adam and Eve got corrupted by Lucifer and Lilith with the apple and Lilith divorced from Adam and he got banished from Eden and went to Hell. Here he realized that the humanity damnation is all his fault and tried to help sinners to redeem themselves with the Hazbin Hotel blah blah blah...

The main ships here are StaticMoth, HuskerDust, Chaggie and Guitarspear (also Lucilith but it's slighty present in the story for the moment)

Husker became lover/work partner with Antonio (Swapped Angel Dust), while Antonio managed strip and s€x clubs, Husk inserted casinos and gambling in Antonio's locals, while Cherri Bomb sells super explosive alcholic drinks to help each other profits and share the percentages of the earnings. (Their trio is called H. A. C.)

About Morningstar Family: Lucifer, because of what he did, went depressed and disappeared for 7 years trying to find The Duck Island (yes, depression made him very dissociated). Lilith, since she is the First Sinner went to Hell and tried to rule it but she was so worried about her husband's sanity and disappearing that she isolated herself to find a way to bring Lucifer back. Charlie since she was more a victim of the events and didn't nothing wrong was assumed in Paradise with Vaggie to bring order in Hell, killing the Sinners' population each year. Since Lilith loved her people so much, did a deal with her daughter Charlie about not killing Hellborns and half of the Sinners' population each year.

Rosie took the place of Alastor because in this AU Al is a radio host like the original but also ruler of Cannibal Town. He disappeared for 7 years like Lucifer for unknown reasons so his best friend Rosie took his place. Rosie decided to help Adam in his naive try to save Sinners just because she wants news to spread for her radio broadcast activity and a lot of hulks for her and her folks at Cannibal Town from a possible war bewteen Heaven and Hell.

just found out that my 14 y/o brother watches hazbin hotel because i was singing “you didn’t know” and he started weighing his opinion on the hazbin songs. not upset that he watches the show at all (but it did take me a little by surprise) because i definitely started watching hazbin and helluva boss when i was 13 but i AM upset that he thinks “stayed gone” is better than “loser, baby” which is a hot take ig

Was listening back through the Hazbin Hotel songs again and I noticed a really cool detail in how each of the characters sing. As some of you might’ve noticed, during Hell’s Greatest Dad Lucifer is very audibly taking in many deep breaths before each lyric, while in contrast you can’t hear Alastor breathing at all. And I wondered if this was a trend with Alastor’s character (intentional) or if it was just due to different singing styles (unintentional). And I have come to the conclusion that the lack of audible breathing on Alastor’s part is very intentional.

Of all the songs and characters that sing, the majority of them do have audible breathing, which is particularly loud when they’re visibly out of breath, panicked, emotional, excited, etc. the big exceptions are Husk, Alastor, Carmilla, and Angel Dust.

With Husk we never hear him audibly breathing. This might be due to the nature of the songs he features in, where Loser Baby’s slower duet gives more room to breath silently than a fast paced one like Hell is Forever. But I think it’s a good hint of Husk’s control over his breathing/singing. He’s a gambler, he likely has one hell of a poker face and knows how to present himself as calm and in control regardless of what he’s feeling, and that’s showcased in how he sings.

It’s the same situation with Alastor. Regardless of how he was feeling during Stayed Gone or Hell’s Greatest Dad, we never hear him breathing. He’s presenting himself as calm and in control of the situation, even as the song devolves into a yelling match in Hell’s Greatest Dad. He keeps up his no audible breathing during his part in Ready for This, though it’s a little hard to tell if Rosie’s breathing is covering up any audible breathing he’s doing. The only time we hear Alastor audibly breathe is during his solo in Finale/The Show Must Go On. Where every single line is followed by a deep and harsh breath. It’s also the only time we see him drop his mask and visibly have a mental breakdown. I’m what little he sings with the group, you can’t hear him breathing anymore, but that might just be because he gets like, one line before the finale of the song.

Carmilla is an interesting one. During Respectless, you can’t hear her breath at all, but you can hear Velvette taking multiple audible breaths. If we equate no breathing to controlling themselves in the situation, then we can interpret that as Carmilla trying to keep her cool about Velvette showing off the angel head she brought to the meeting, and not let anything slip. In Whatever it Takes, Carmilla starts the song by taking many audible breaths before each line, implying she’s letting her guard and control down for Zestial. Out for Love has her breathing silently again. I’m not too sure what it could mean character wise aside from her being calm and in control of the training session.

Angel Dust is also super interesting. During the start of his solo song Poison, you can’t hear any audible breathing from him. And it makes sense, coupled with the visuals onscreen, Angel Dust is trying to make himself feel like he’s in control of his situation and what’s happening to him. It’s not until the very end of the song, where his voice starts breaking that we hear him audibly breathe, because he’s not in control of his situation and he couldn’t keep pretending that he was.

Tl;dr: within the songs of Hazbin Hotel, how a character breathes between lyrics, silently or loudly, is being used to further build their character and give the audience a sense of their emotional state. Also, the breathing makes it feel more like the characters are actually singing and it’s not just a cool polished sound track for the show.

Jeremy Jordan didn’t convince me as his VO in some leaks at first but he did a great job at playing the devil himself in the episode.
