Since i didn't want to make confusion with the understanding of the main story, i did a separate post where i talk about how the substances William studied work.

Remnant: Purple looking substance. Allows dead people to come back to life and the living to become immortal. When a person dies, the Remnant is lost and must be blocked with agony along with the soul of the individual from which to extract it. Therefore, the victim must die in pain (torture is the best way) so it will produce a lot of Agony and the extractor would have more time to withdraw the Remnant. The amount of Remnant produced changes based on the age of the subject: child = a lot, adult = little, elderly = very little. Also more the victim is young, more the color of Remnant is violet/pink, if they are old the color is dark purple.

Animals produced very less Remnant, while humans are the best producers. There are specific animatronics to contain souls, remnant and agony (Funtimes). Not everyone who dies in Agony are forced to live in an object but wandering as a ghost until they get revenge on the person who kill them.

Agony: Black looking substance. Keeps people in a state between life/death and allows the Remnant to be blocked for extraction (otherwise it will be lost). Allows the soul to possess an object. The more the person suffers, the more agony it produces, the more resentful the spirit will be. Ennard contained spirits of children still trapped by Agony to extract the Remnant and Elizabeth gave part of the Remnant to her brother Micheal to allow him to continue living.

My art posts aren't doing well by a lot of months so i feel less motivation to make content, i will publish the last drawings and then i'll make a break. Maybe i will return here but honestly i don't want at the moment. Bye.

[FNAF: My Timeline Part 4]

2019

Michael got hired again to work as a night guard at an horror attraction based on the Fazbear's accidents still owned by Fazbear Entertainment to look for Evan (Golden Freddy). Mike discovered that the Agony affected his father inside Springbonnie, bringing him back to life with the name of Springtrap. William's body was slowly decomposing thanks to the Remnant he has been injecting himself with for all these years.

Michael was afraid about his father's wrath during the nightshift and became anxious, having hallucinations (Phantoms). He tried to save himself by setting fire to the attraction and running away.

2024

On the streets of the city, among the trash cans Michael and Charlie found Ennard (Molten Freddy). He realized that inside him there were other souls (those of the children killed by the Funtime and those put in the Toys) all mixed in a single body. Charlie told Micheal that they had to save Molten Freddy. Unfortunately Charlie and her friend Puppet were captured by Lefty and Micheal found himself alone. Later he got a notice from Henry Emily (now 80 ys) who was opening a new place with the money saved from the bankruptcy of Fazbear, since the funds were few and he worked all alone on the entire project, Henry tried to contact a night guard to protect the place.

Even if the pay is awful, Michael did not care: he wanted to find Charlie, Evan and his sister Elizabeth, the notice talks about having found Scrap Baby (Elizabeth) to integrate her into the new pizzeria together with the Rockstars. Elizabeth's soul moved away from Molten's body because she wanted to "live on her own", helping William at gathering Remnant to bring him to his living human state. Betraying the souls inside Ennard, she found the old Circus Baby's Pizza World, destroyed and possessed a damaged Circus Baby animatronic, becoming Scrap Baby.

Michael got the job at Henry's Pizza Palace but by doing so he also attracted Molten Freddy looking for revenge against William (Scraptrap), William looking for revenge against Michael and Lefty who was possessed by Charlie. Suddenly it was revealed that the place was all a farce planned by Henry to save his daughter, kill William and free the souls inside Molten. The place went up in flames, burning everyone, including Michael. But just before he died, Evan finally took pity on his brother after all these years and forgave him.

Then there are 2 Endings for William and one of them is canon:

Dark Ending

Cassidy didn't forgive William and kept torturing him in the UCN, his future is unknown.

Light Ending (Canon)

Evan was sick of his father being tortured forever and begged Cassidy to forgive him and let him go to Heaven with them. Cassidy yelled at Evan about how much William made her suffer and not to bother her during her revenge. Cassidy, however, loved Evan very much and forgave William but only at the request of her friend. To enter Heaven, William wouldn't only have to take care of all the souls of the children he killed but also accompany them to overcome their traumas. After 80 years, William is finally purified.

(Maybe William here is too OOC but i saw a very beautiful comic called "It's Time to Go" where he is forgiven and i was inspired. Also i liked the AftonGrief/Willcare theory where William went crazy because he lost Evan after the bite, one of my favorite theories so i wanted to put it in my headcanon.)

1989

Micheal lost his job after the Freddy's closure and wandered around the streets, meeting Ennard again. This time he looked different:

Ennard ran away. Micheal after 3 years, found on newspaper an ad about a grand reopening of the "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" and got rehired in the new place with the name of Mike Schmidt. He continued to search his brother and sister when realized that even Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy are possessed and he could communicate with them (probably because he also died in pain like them).

The victims were Gabriel (Freddy), Jeremy (Bonnie), Susie (Chica), Fritz (Foxy) and Charlie while Golden Freddy was possessed by two kids (Cassidy and Evan). Michael tried to talk to Golden Freddy but Charlie said that his brother didn't want talk to him and Cassidy didn't like him too (because of the prank he did to Evan).

Charlie told Michael what his father did to them and tried to find a way to lure William to the pizzeria. She knew he returned sometimes to Fazbear's Pizza to look for the remains of his son Evan (also to check if the cops had found any clues to his crimes) so they waited for him.

William entered late one night to Fazbear's to look for the robots and tore them to pieces. William managed to destroy them but Charlie and the others attacked him. He hided in Springbonnie's suit but his sweat and the humid environment of the room caused the springlocks to go haywire, killing him this time.

Michael learned about his father's apparent death and went for apologize to Evan but couldn't find him. Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, Clara and the dog ascended to Heaven while Charlie, Cassidy, Evan and Michael didn't: Charlie wanted to say goodbye to his father and see him for the last time, Michael wanted to apologize to his brother and find Elizabeth, Evan wanted to save his father while Cassidy didn't want to leave Evan on the earth and wasn't satisfied about William's death yet.

1985

William tested the Remnant on various dead animals like mice, birds to see if it actually worked. All experiments were successful.

Reading more deeply the Dr. Little book, he discovered that Remnant on living beings has the effect of making them live longer. More Remnant is injected into the subject, more long they live. Could be a specific level of Remnant needed to become immortal, but the doctor never finished his studies.

William tried to collect more and more Remnant not only for Evan but also for himself: he was a man who sacrificed a lot to be where he was, he had always been afraid of death and failure (especially after the springlocks incident) and this discovery could save not only his son.

He continued to fake friendship with Henry and worked with him at the new place (Freddy Fazbear's Pizza). It was a huge success, so much so that Henry founded Fazbear Entertainment, a company that produced merchandise and cartoons based on the pizzeria's characters (he always dreamed of having an his own toy company)

Meanwhile, William built an "sister location" to Freddy's called Circus Baby's Pizza World (it was owned by Fazbear Entertainment and was mostly managed by William, Henry paid little attention to that place because he wanted to focus on the main venue.). During the day, the robots are meant to entertain children but in the night, they went to capture children and conserved the Remnant while William tried to get his son's body. The victims were mostly homeless ones so the police couldn't search for them, but also some children clients from Henry's Freddy Fazbear's Pizza to sabotage his reputation.

William increased his killing spree, murdering five more children (Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz and Cassidy) and abandoning their bodies at the back of the place, near the garbage. Same for other five with unknown names. Disgusted and worried, Puppet and Charlie wanted to save these children but they didn't know how. Suddenly, a mysterious red figure appeared and revealed to them that through Agony, spirits can possess an artificial body, as happened to Charlie. The individual wanted to be called just "old man" and help the children getting revenge. Thanks to "Old man"'s suggestions, Charlie and Puppet allowed the children to be reincarnated into the five original animatronics and the Toys.

Elizabeth died by mistake during a Circus Baby's show and William's wife discovered that her husband was killing children, tried to call the police and subsequently divorce from him. He however killed her and hided her remains in Ballora.

Continuing his studies, William found out that animals he had tested Remnant on were alive but decomposing. He continued to experiment, increasing the doses of Remnant and noticed something that Dr. Little had not noted yet: if the Remnant is less, the dead subject into which it is injected continues to decompose, despite this he can still move. The more Remnant is injected into the body, the more the dead person regenerates and returns to a healthy state.

William sent Michael (now a young adult, 22 ys) to repair the Funtime animatronics and search for Elizabeth because he was busy with other things and since he didn't want to pay technicians. Micheal wanted to go mostly to search his sister.

Circus Baby (possessed by Elizabeth) told to her big brother to go in the Scooping room, trying to make him discover the crimes their father William did.

The Funtime animatronics were possessed by the children trapped inside them and wanted to escape, creating Ennard and luring Michael to obtain a body with which to escape from the sister location, faking Circus Baby's voice.

The Scooper was created to open the animatronics and extract the Remnant gained from them, Mike got blocked and his chest splitted in two by it. Ennard entered inside and used him to walk outside of the pizzeria.

When Mike's body started to rot, Ennard got that they didn't need him anymore and escaped from his body. Elizabeth (who was trapped in Ennard with the other souls) gave some Remnant to her brother to not making him decompose quickly and told him he wouldn't die.

1987

Michael discovered from a newspaper ad that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is looking for a night watchman for the place. The pay is an insult but his brother's soul could be wandering here so he created a false identity called Fritz Smith and worked as a night guard at Freddy's, replacing a certain Jeremy Fitzgerald after he mysteriously disappeared on the job. It is later discovered that Mangle tore off his frontal lobe, killing him.

Fazbear Entertainment attempted to cover up the situation but later the incident is revealed publicly through an investigation and Freddy's closed again for 3 years. The Toys were all scrapped and would be reused for fixing the originals.

1978

William and Henry were two great friends passionate about engineering (William was also passionate about biology while Henry about toy crafting) and after long university studies, patience and money obtained from Henry's grandpa restaurant, opened their first pizzeria, Fredbear's Family Diner.

William took care of the economic side while Henry of the creative one (the animatronics). Springbonnie and Fredbear were made as first two mascots, when the company got more money also Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy were integrated, then a cartoon show with them called "Fredbear and Friends" was planned.

The first Springbonnie and Fredbear suits were called Springlock: they had a spring mechanism that moved the mechanical parts and thus allowed the suits to be worn by a person. The mechanisms could return to the original position in the suit if they came into contact with humidity (for example sweat).

Before opening a company, Henry had a daughter, Charlotte "Charlie" Emily and a dead wife, who lost their second child, Sammy Emily. Charlie was pretty introvert, lacked of social skills and suffered because of this. Her father created a puppet to help her to socialize on her 8th birthday and it worked: Charlie started to consider Puppet as a brother figure and called him occasionally Sammy.

1979

William also had a wife (Clara Afton) and 3 children: his favorites were Evan (8 ys) and Elizabeth (9 ys) and didn't like Michael (15 ys) at all because of his immature behaviour. William chose Evan as his heir and Michael hated him for this. His younger brother had a shy and fragile character, in stark contrast to what William was and make him successful. How could he carry on his business?

Michael was much more extroverted and a planner, he was the ideal candidate. The only problem was that he was rude and selfish.

With both parents at work and Elizabeth at elementary, Micheal had multiple times where he skipped school to bully Evan or during recess, when he came home or at night, always scaring him with a Foxy mask. He also he also tried to steal Foxy's stuffed toy but only tore off his head.

1982

One day, William risked being killed by the Springbonnie's springlocks, that day it was really hot and his sweat triggered the springs, he miraculously survived for a sudden blockage of the mechanism. Him and Henry covered this fact to avoid bad publicity on the place. All of this altered his psyche leading to weight loss and PTSD nightmares/hallucinations.

During 1983 at Evan's birthday, Michael played a prank on him by sticking his head into Fredbear's mouth. The animatronic crushed Evan's skull and brought him to a coma state, after two months he died in sleep.

The Bite ruined the pizzeria's reputation, Fredbear's one too so the place closed and the "Fredbear and Friends" animatronics were temporarily set aside and used to create the Toys of the second pizzeria, in 1985 (the Puppet will be add as a new mascot character). William started to quarrel with Henry and their friendship was slowly falling apart.

William became depressed and obsessed with the desire to bring his son back to life.

Reading some biology books he had in his study to relax a bit, discovered one containing notes by a certain Dr. Little who studied a substance called Remnant, capable of bringing the deads back to life and can be obtained blocking the souls of young victims with the Agony. More the victims are young, more Remnant can be extracted. William had always been a rational man but his grief and madness after the loss of Evan would push him to try everything, also the impossible.

1985

Blind by anger, William killed Charlie (who was been locked out of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza by some bullies, not the same of Evan's) to get revenge on his friend Henry, because believed it was partly his fault that Evan died and extract the Remnant from her. Puppet had been trapped by the bullies inside his box and by the time he managed to save Charlie, it was too late. It was raining outside and his mechanical parts inside the mask went haywire and he fell right on top of his "sister"'s body so she possessed the Puppet.

I was thinking Digital Circus doesn't interest me that much anymore. I mean, it's okay, average. Nothing special, it's okay, in my opinion it's a bit too hyped by Glitch fans and casual viewers.

Something good isn't necessarily a masterpiece. Digital Circus is well written. So does it deserve to be so hyped? No. Then the episodes seem very similar to each other, i mean: Caine sends them on a new adventure to keep them sane, and when they're done they leave. For me it's a bit repetitive. I know what matters is the characters' backstories, told in the adventures, but i don't know... they could have been developed better. For now, TADC is a "good but could have been done better" thing, i see people overanalyzing the characters and calling it a masterpiece. Actually, for now, a good portion of the characters aren't that complex, i'm okay with that, but i expected something more. They aren't complex, they have two/one main traits in their personality but we don't have any flashbacks about their past lives. When they were humans. It's so superficial for me.

And the fandom is toxic. They're always complaining. Fans pay too much attention to the haters and what they say about the characters. Enough. I don't think i'll do fanart on Digital Circus anymore, because honestly it doesn't appeal to me as much...
