Adam Taurus was an horrible person.
Might as well say this: I am an cis man and I did not like Adam as an person. At all.
I honestly donât give a damn about his âwasted potentialâ as a villain.
He was both an spiteful, arrogant, manipulative leader of an group that turned extremist, thanks to him, and an horrible lover/boyfriend for Blake.
I donât think he really knew what love is supposed to be either.
And that he let all of his ego, sadism, and racism go to his head as he âfightsâ for the cause.
Aka, wanting to grab power for his own mission of killing every human and faunus who does not believe in his methods and ulterior motive.
And no.
Just because he had an sad backstory with being oppressed and literally branded with SDC on his eye, it doesnât excuse everything that he did.
It just does not excuse it.
It is similar to even with the good that Ironwood did, the path of him snapping and was there. And even with that it looked like that he could grasp the whole situation and fully realize the error of his treatment towards Mantle, declaring martial law, training an school full of teens for war basically, all that.
All it took was him caving in by the sight of an Wisp Grimmâs visage of Salem and him getting more and more tunnel vision, trying to fight through Salem, not around it, for him to turn on the very heroes that want to him, even with the sensitive info about why Salem is doing what she does, the Relics, and such.
And that the heroes did not want to sprinkle in some lies to keep Ironwood from having an unpredictable reaction and plan of if he found out.
Also, you want to know why Blake did not end up with Sun? 3 main reasons: Blake wants to face the current state of the White Fang more than falling in love with an man that she sees far more like an brother from another mother than anything.
She made her choice to run to keep Adam away from everyone that she cared about in Beacon, even with that she knew that she made an bad choice.
& lastly, she had Yang in her mind ever since Beacon fell, until she reunited with her team in Haven and tried to mend the team relationship.
And did not run away again.
Back to Adam though.
Adam was not an âBeastâ to Blake as an Belle.
He was an god damn Gaston. : P
He was beaten by the 2 people that he tormented.
Especially the one that got her right arm cut off and struggled, but ultimately got up, trained with her dad, went to find her team, including her sister, find her biological mother with her bandit tribe, and realized something while fighting Adam with Blake in Argus.Â
It might have been like this in her head:Â
â...Why was I so afraid of this guy? He is *pathetic*. Yes, he cut off my arm. But... He is just so shitty as a person. And so cheap with his Semblance too.â
Keyword: Might.
So yeah.
Good riddance.
I am glad Adam is dead. : P
And I donât care for his âwasted potentialâ. He ran his course and ruined himself.
No one else to blame but himself.
-Also, can a big portion of RWBY haters realize that not every villain needs to be 3-4 or more layers deep. As long as they do their role right.
Like an villain making you hate them. If they can do that, they have done their job.
Adam Taurus is one of those.Â
Though, I am not saying you should hate Adam or like him. More power to you.
I am just explaining my stance on him as an person. Even with that he is fictional.
I know this.
But donât hate on people who like him or hate him.
This applies to EVERY single RWBY character in the show.
Especially Blake & Yang.
They are together-together now, since V9.Â
Please get over that, people who are pissed at their very existence.
The RWBY fandom has enough people throwing insults over trivial shit and opinions. While others are just trying to enjoy the franchise.
We donât need more of that.
And I am not mad at those people as of right now.
I am just disappointed in them.
Moving on to the last point of this post. And then I am done-
To emphasize: He was an true piece of shit. : P Like *God.*

Look, I know how you feel about arise of Red, but lemme just say that I watched the movie and itâs a mess. The new one is coming out 17th of July 2026 and this movie scored poorly. What Iâm not understanding is the new book, World of Auradon, states that everything is connected, but if thatâs the case then why Evil Queen doesnât go to school with Maleficent and Hades? Whatâs the point of Uliana if Ursula goes to school like the others? Why isnât Jafar with with them like how Jasmine and Aladdin is at school?? Rise of Red is more confusing and got rid of all logic than the first three. The most messed up part is thereâs a deleted script where Chloe and Red traveled back in time to find teen Beast who is a alpha male and rocks a pompadour hairstyle and morphs back into a human as he wished. Also, Brandyâs Cinderella isnât even canon in Rise of Red, as confirmed by the producer, itâs not even canon to the og 1950 one either, itâs the third Cinderella created by the producer herself and just bring back Brandy and Paolo for bait. LikeâŠjust why? Descendants should have just done at D3.
Every new thing I learned about this movie just makes me question my sanity, and you have my sympathy anon for having to sit through that nonsense.
The thing is. I feel like the plot could have worked. Time-travel to prevent some disastrous event? It's worked in previous ideas! It has a lot of potential! I just can't put my finger on what exactly ruins this idea. I feel like the idea of Merlin Academy itself is the issue. Like going back in time to a past Wonderland maybe? That would be so cool! But no, we're just dragged back to another boarding school which promptly becomes a "okay, why did they have to bring in the whole time-travel thing if they're just going with this again?" I feel like they tried to make it exciting like "oh! This time it's actually teenage Disney characters and not their kids! oh and a few OCs too" but like you said, all it does is ruin the timeline even further and introduce a whole lot more convoluted nonsense.
And there were so many characters introduced/hyped up that did absolutely nothing. Aladdin, Jasmine, Zellie (who apparently wound up named "Meadow" in the final bit and also got cut), Morgie, Hook, Hades, Maleficent. Literally the only people from the past that mattered eventually were Uliana, Merlin, Ella, Bridget, and teen Charming. Everyone else could have been nameless backgrounders and it would have been no different. It feels like they wanted a School for Good and Evil vibe but even then they failed, because at least the SFGAE movie had various antagonists, allies, mentors, and minor characters (and... better costumes.)
The confusion gets even worse with the guide books. Morgie's home kingdom is listed as "Isle of the Lost." HOW? It doesn't exist in his time! Unless we're going with the idea that the island existed long before Auradon was united? Was it always just a haven for villains?
(And oh god. I don't even wanna think about teen!Beast there. Genuinely sounds like he's supposed to be Gaston more than Beast.)

Oh now momma donât you ask my why Gastonâs Cafe opened in the 1950s alongside the highway surrounding the Salton Sea and was once a haven for fishermen, hunters and truckers. Word is Leonard Knight the artist behind Salvation Mountain would sometimes stop here for breakfast or coffee in the mornings. The cafe shut down in 1999 and mysteriously burned down years later leaving just the sign standing. youâre my haven in life and death
mei | 8teen, she/her! **@pusakwon on ao3!**
!3 works so far!
đà ŹÜ my works are all sfw (if you donât count mentions of self harm and endangerment)! some information about me that is obvious when you read my works are: virgin, intimacy virgin and a relationship virgin ⥠(high rice purity score) therefore, kissing scenes i write are unwiped ass and based on imagination ! iâm a big fan of gothic love stories, especially Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, so thatâs most likely the common theme that you could find in most of my writings!
ââ .âŠ
writing angst is second nature as i donât believe in happy endings. something has to go wrong!
đ⚟đąÖŽà»i donât have a schedule as to when i post, and iâll lose motivation to do so often. thus, i rarely post wips and will most likely stick to posting completed stories!
happy scrolling! à»ê°àŸàœČá” á” á” ê±àŸàœČ১

Buster kinked his neck a bit as Gaston mentioned that Hades was a demon. That was something he had not really had many encounters with. Not that he was afraid of it but he was definitely something he wasnt dabbling in in London. Makes sense that Swyn Lake was almost a safe haven. "Yeah but I mean whats the worst he could possibly do..." Buster was sure he would touch his toe in that water and see for himself. "I myself have been a demon to some..." Buster shrugged. He knew that Gaston would not steer him wrong...the guy was from here and seemed to know the know. "How did someone with such a short trigger like him even get in office then...Seems a bit irresponsible yeah?"

Open for bootleg trading~
Hello all! I am posting my bootleg list here for now as a temporary list until I get my website up and running- I am open to trading! Iâm mainly looking for any Cats production- preferably English or Dutch but any musical would be nice to have and expand my collection.Â
Addams Family - Broadway - March 12, 2010
FORMAT: .VOB w/o smalls
CAST:Nathan Lane (Gomez Addams), Bebe Neuwirth (Morticia Addams), Terrence Mann (Mal Beineke), Carolee Carmello (Alice Beineke), Kevin Chamberlin (Uncle Fester), Jackie Hoffman (Grandma), Zachary James (Lurch), Wesley Taylor (Lucas Beineke), Krysta Rodriguez (Wednesday Addams), Adam Riegler (Pugsley Addams)
NOTES: Video quality isn't the best, and audio is sometimes on the softer side. Still a very entertaining show.
Anastasia - Broadway - September 6, 2017
FORMAT: (VOBs w/ smalls)
CAST: Christy Altomare (Anastasia), Derek Klena (Dmitry), John Bolton (Vlad), Ramin Karimloo (Gleb), Caroline O'Connor (Lily), Mary Beth Peil (Maria Feodorovna), Zach Adkins, Sissy Bell, Lauren Blackman, Kyle Brown, Janet Dickinson, Constantine Germanacos, Wes Hart, Ken Krugman, Shina Ann Morris, James A. Pierce III, Molly Rushing, Nicole Scimerca, Johnny Stellard, Allison Walsh (Ensemble)
Aladdin - Broadway, 2014-Nov-05 (SunsetBlvd79âs master)
Format: VOB + smalls (7.58 GB)
CAST: Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Courtney Reed (Jasmine), Merwin Foard (s/b Jafar), Michael James Scott (s/b Genie)
NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of latest Disney Broadway offering. Great to see the changes from the Toronto tryout. Michael and Merwin do terrific jobs as Genie and Jafar.
Beauty and the Beast New Zealand April 2006 - Proshot
Format: .VOB w/ smalls
Cast: Jade Steele, Russell Dixon, Glen Drake, Rob Ormsby, Gladys Hope
NOTES: Only the first act & first part of act two!Â
Beauty and the Beast (Disney) - Broadway - July 27, 2007 (Unknown's video master)

NOTES: Two days before the show closed on Broadway. Good amount of closeups and good quality filmed from the mid-mezzanine; there is a railing issue for a while in Act 1 but the taper improves. 'Me', 'Gaston' and 'Be Our Guest' are all predominantly missing and recording stopped for some time after 'Gaston', which created a little jump in the timeline to where Maurice gets thrown out of the tavern. Still a nice video with great closeups of the last Broadway cast.

CAST: Catherine Charlebois, Thaddeus Pearson, Johnny Stellard, Steve Hitchcock, James Beaman, Katie Banks-Todd, Karen L. Robu, Lexis Danca, James Heinrichs, Timothy W. Robu, Tanner Pflueger, John Boldenow

Haeun nodded and smiled at the mention of her cozy studio. "It really is cozy, right? It's so much nicer to have your own place instead of being dependent on the rent of some company trying to just make money out of you..." She rested her head against the window. "When I saw the view on the realtor's website, I fell in love at first sight." Somehow she found herself feeling homesick - wanting to be inside of her safe haven of her studio. No more worries, no more mention of the man she used to be in love with.
Haeun giggled at his comment. "Gosh, you're so sweet. Thinking about it, maybe I don't want you to go far away, what would I ever do without my favorite student?" She turned to look at him, but as soon as she met his eyes, she became flustered as flashbacks of last night shot through her mind and she turned away quickly, looking down at her lap. "We, we seem to have arrived." She stammered, trying to not think of those memories.
Gaston parked the car and led them to the inside of the building and showed them their spot in the rows of seats.
"This place is stunning." Haeun commented, taking in the sight of the beautiful ball room style location.
She stayed with Jimin for a few more minutes until she was tapped on the shoulder by a fellow judge. She nodded and then looked back at Jimin. "I have to go now. You stay right here, alright? Remember, this is your seat, right next to the exit, ah, but if you get hungry, there's a room back there with some appetizers and snacks, and they have some drinks too." She paused before looking over at the stage and then back to him. "I'll see you later then, okay?"
-đ©°
Haeunâs voice was always so soft, so silky smooth. It lulled Jimin into a peaceful and calming trance as he listened to her talk on and on. But when their eyes met for seemingly the first time since yesterday, the trance was shattered. The fuzzy and happy feelings coursing through his veins was replaced with something much more dirty - much more sinful.
Fuck, he thought to himself before needing to readjust in his spot. He could see his dove in his mind, her hands gripping his chest, nails digging in. Her head was thrown back as heavenly moans, whimpers, and cries spilled from her lips.
No, no. He had to distract himself. He couldnât feel like this, not yet. Not when theyâre about to be surrounded by groups and groups of people. Luckily, Gaston pulled up to the venue and gave Jimin a sharp stare through the rear view mirror, diminishing the hot and heavy feelings swirling inside Haeunâs younger student.
âThis place is stunning,â Jimin agreed with his teacher, vaguely glancing around the room. This place was stunning, but painfully expensive and lavish - and far from his taste. The building alone had to cost more than any of his organs on the black market, and nearly everyone inside it seemed .. proper.
âHey,â he suddenly interrupted Haeun babbling on as if he was her son on the first day of kindergarten. A fond smile stretched across his lips. She just cared about - maybe even love - him so much. âIâll be fine. Iâll see you later, Miss Haeun.â He spoke the last part as a small tease before settling in his seat.
And even when the lights dimmed and the performances started not too long after, Jimin found himself spending more time staring at her. Watching how she reacted to each dance, the smiles, the awe, the adoration - it all warmed his tattered and broken heart. More than anything else in the years heâs been alive.

QCQ: Gaston Bachelard, The Poetics of Space
Q: âConsciousness of being at peace in oneâs corner produces a sense of immobility, and this, in turn, radiates immobility.â
C: As Bachelard tells us, a corner is like a haven, a place of safety or refuge, I envisioned that safety place as a shell, a cocoon protecting from the outside world. Being awake and aware of our surroundings, and yet he talks of a sense of immobility, being motionless, in a meditating trance, floating sensation, awake and aware, and still motionless; protected in our corner, like a pupa protecting an insect, like a motherâs womb although fragile and vulnerable, protects the fetus.Â
Q: Can we build our corner by recreating that sense of safety within our mind? How far can we push the boundaries of that invisible corner?

Q.C.Q: Corners by Gaston Bachelard
â...the corner is a haven that ensures us one of the things we prize most highly-immobility. It is the sure place, the place next to my immobility. The corner is a sort of half-box, part wall, part door. It will serve as the dialectics of inside and outside...â- Gaston Bachelard
I chose this comment because it brought out what I believe to be the actual truth of what a corner provides; for myself I always found corners to be an area of open comfort. It gives support on both sides, yet an open space to not feel so confined; its cozy. I didnât think much about it, but as the writer states, it is a haven for immobility; the perfect stop to rest & stay in place.
Question: Have you ever felt a corner to be a sort of âhavenâ for yourself? If so, why?

Book Review: A Rogue of Oneâs Own by Evie Dunmore
Not to be a dramatic fangirl on main, but this book--WAS THE ROGUISH MASTERPIECE OF MY DREAMS.
To quote Gaston, it was a "true paragon" as far as historical romances go. The truth is that, as much as I adored reading about how Annabelle culled her duke, Sebastian, and brought him to his knees in book one of this series, that's how much more I was titillated by all that transpired between Tristan and Lucie in this follow-up installment.
Talk about exhilarating and well-developed characters! Whoo-wee! These two had me reaching for my fan five seconds into their first exchange. They sizzle from page one, ladies and gents. And the banter! My goodness, the silver-tongued banter!
**A moment of silence for the "go to Hades" slap across the face, thank you very much**
In historical romances, there's nothing more entertaining to me than plucky, intelligent, unconventional, obstinate, and spirited characters who go toe-to-toe in and out of the bedroom. And that's exactly what Dunmore provided here in this novel.
Think: Politics vs. Propositions Think: Business vs. Pleasure Think: Want vs. Need Think: Scandal vs. Propriety Think: Victorianism vs. Feminism
Nothing's left off the table. It's all there in gripping, well-paced detail and chemise-dropping reality. Throw in some of that long-simmering lust and intensity which boiled from the bottom of an enemies-to-lovers cauldron and you might as well consider me roasted alive amid the narrative fire because that's exactly how I feel now that I've finished the story. I'm roasted. I've drowned. I'm over here still dripping with screams. Forever more will I be doused in internal exclamations about suffrage and female friendship, about the "rogues" of mankind who listen to what women want instead of only assuming what it is they think we need.
Basically I cannot squeal about the plot, the characters, the romance, or the themes of this story enough. In fact, if you look hard I think you'll find me puddled somewhere - still melting - over everything from the Cause to Lucie and Tristan's illicit affair.
I've got to say that although 2020 hasn't been good for much this year at least it's given me some literary gems. (Like this one.) Just pack me in bubble wrap with this and Beach Read and you won't hear anything but dreamy sighs coming from me or my little haven, I swear!
So what - and I mean this from the bottom of my dark and derelict book snob heart - are you waiting for, friends? I doubt Lucie and Tristan would wait for a "proper" invitation to jumpstart this romance, so you know what that means:
Neither should you.Â
4/5 stars
