~Hauz Khas, New Delhi
Finding your own place in a world full of chaos, sitting near an architecture reliving those past memories, reading through the chapters of your own life and here we are, existing in both the timelines at the same time. We define ourselves with mass and matter but maybe we are just beyond that - energy and frequency!

Metro:
When we first shifted to gurgaon in 2010, my parents had joined a historical walk group which toured all the famous monuments in delhi and narrating their history.
We used to go in metro most of our times, and it was a good experience for me. We used to travel a lot but then the group discontinued and we stopped travelling in metro for a long time.
Recently I started travelling on metro for running errands, meeting friends and going to places i usually go in car or auto. And it’s so easy travelling by metro, there are less charges and especially in a rapid it’s not that crowded.
But sitting in the metro and listening to music is a whole different vibe. I love travelling in metro and will always take any opportunity to ride again. Yes sometimes it becomes hectic and crowded which can cause frustration but everything has it’s ups and downs.

Finding the Perfect PG Accommodation for Families in Delhi: A Guide to Comfort and Convenience
Delhi, the bustling capital of India, is home to many families moving here for work, education, or better opportunities. With the city’s housing market often posing affordability challenges, many families opt for paying guest (PG) accommodations as a convenient and budget-friendly option. pg for family in delhi are becoming increasingly popular as they provide a comfortable and homely environment without the high costs associated with renting or buying property in the city. Here's a guide to help you find the ideal PG for your family in Delhi.
 Location Matters
Delhi’s vast size makes location a primary factor when searching for a PG. Proximity to workplaces, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers can make a huge difference in terms of convenience and quality of life. Popular residential areas like South Delhi (e.g., Lajpat Nagar, Saket, and Hauz Khas), Central Delhi (e.g., Karol Bagh and Connaught Place), and West Delhi (e.g., Janakpuri) are known for having family-friendly PGs with good facilities. Selecting a PG in a safe and well-connected neighborhood not only enhances daily convenience but also ensures that essential amenities are easily accessible.
 Check the Amenities and Facilities
A PG should feel like home, offering necessary amenities that suit your family’s needs. Many PGs in Delhi cater to families by providing services such as furnished rooms, air conditioning, 24/7 water supply, internet access, and laundry facilities. Inquiring about housekeeping services is also a good idea, as it can significantly ease the daily workload, especially if you have young children. Some premium family-oriented PGs even offer community spaces like small gardens or recreational areas where children can play safely.
Consider the Food and Dining Options
For families, the quality of food provided at a PG can be a dealbreaker. Delhi’s PGs often offer food as part of their packages, but it’s essential to assess the quality and variety of meals served. Some PGs provide a variety of cuisines, ensuring that both children and adults have nutritious and delicious options. If your family prefers home-cooked meals, look for a PG that allows kitchen access. Cooking facilities give families the freedom to prepare meals according to their preferences and dietary requirements, especially important for those with young children or elderly members.
 Ensure Safety and Security
Safety is a top priority, particularly for families. Before finalizing a PG, inquire about its security measures. Many reputed PG accommodations have 24/7 security, CCTV surveillance, and gated entrances to ensure residents’ safety. Look for a PG that has a secure entrance and ideally a security guard. It's also helpful to read online reviews or get recommendations from previous residents to get a sense of the management’s commitment to safety.
 Budget-Friendly Options and Flexibility
Family-friendly PG accommodations in Delhi come in a range of budgets. Depending on the facilities provided and the area’s popularity, the monthly rental may vary. Generally, PGs in South and Central Delhi are more expensive, while areas in North and East Delhi might offer more budget-friendly options. Discuss the terms and conditions with the landlord to understand rent payment schedules, security deposits, and any additional charges. Some PGs offer flexible rental terms that allow families to pay monthly or quarterly, which can be helpful for budgeting.
 Community and Family Environment
For families, being in a PG that offers a warm and welcoming community environment can make a significant difference. Many family-oriented pg single room in delhi organize social events, cultural programs, and community gatherings, providing a great way for children to make friends and for families to build a support network. A vibrant community environment can help families settle in quickly, making the transition to a new city smoother and more enjoyable.

Finding a PG in Delhi that meets the needs of your family is entirely possible with a bit of planning and research. By focusing on key factors like location, amenities, food options, safety, budget, and community environment, you can identify a PG that feels like a home away from home. With the right PG, your family can enjoy all the advantages of living in Delhi while enjoying a secure, comfortable, and family-friendly environment.
