The Gods (all bishop, Narinder, and Haro) reactions to you wanting to pet them headcannons.
(You can decide the relationship vibes)
𝐈 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨.
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝐍𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥), 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬,
𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜
𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬
𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐲
He... didn't expect that.
Just a little weirded out.
How could you possibly pet him?
Intrigued on how you would do it, he let you.
He almost immediately melted into your touch, and you could see his branches start to wiggle a bit.
Petting him on the top of his head, the 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 could noticably start to blink more.
The 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 also started to have a slight hint of red tinting the sides, almost as if it were blushing.
Petting him under his "chin", would cause him to completely melt in your hands.
Keep that in mind.
If he ever gets angry, well, too angry, just give him scritches and he's putty.
𝐇𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐭
Oddly, it flusters her the moment you bring it up.
She's hesitant, and her blush never leaves, but she allows you.
The 𝙔𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣'𝙨 eye seems to widen, and seems to stop blinking.
It also seems to get slightly redder at the sides.
Either way you pet her, whether on her head, or under her chin;
Heket seems to get extremely flustered, and her eyes seem to look anywhere but you.
Although, to you, it's obvious she loves it.
𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫
Kallamar immediately lets you.
As consistently anxious as he is, he trusts you.
Completely.
When you pet his head, the 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣'𝙨 eye softens, and it has a slight aura.
The aura seems as though it's smiling.
Kallamar loves it, he nestles into your touch, and peppers soft kisses to the inside of your forearm.
Well, if you're alone.
He has a facade to maintain, y'know?
If it's under the chin, he seems to act as Leshy does, melting into your touch and is basically putty.
𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚
You ask them while they're reading in their study.
Shamura cocks their head, but ultimately lets you.
"𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭?" They'll question, letting out a small chuckle.
Afterward, you pet them
And immediately, they're putty.
They actually fall over.
like onto the floor.
You both laugh about it, but you pet them again, and they just melt into the floor.
Needless to say, it's their weakness
(is it obvious that they're my favorite and the absolute love of my life)
𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫/𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬
He would immediately say no
A small hiss erupted from his throat as he said so.
After consistent and constant begging, be finally let you.
He purred, immediately.
His eyes became half-lidded as he nuzzled into your touch and nibbled at your hand lightly.
He'd lose his footing a few times, but unlike Shamura, he wouldn't fall onto the floor.
He would blink kind of like a frog, despite his half-lidded eyes.
𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐨
A gentle smile would appear across Haro's beak.
They would kneel down slightly, letting you pet them.
No matter which way you pet them:
Their feathers would fluff out.
And underneath their cloak, you could notice their wings start to flap slightly
Not enough to fly, let alone hover, but just flapping slightly.
"𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐡? 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐞 𝐟'𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬." (Is this alright, love? I thank you for the affections.)
They would hum, gentle and spaced purrs erupting from them.
𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫
It would huff, shaking it's head.
Both in disappointment and flusteredness.
It would mostly be flustered by the fact that it... didn't have any clue what you were asking.
But inevitably, it would let you.
It would shift one of it's eyes into lips and softly peck your brow.
The petting wouldn't really affect them, but they did like it.
Considering that it was a form of affection, it obviously liked it.
Well, it only liked affection from you, which is a plus, i guess.

Coming up soon! My new Alice In Borderland Fanfic [Inspired by Alice In Borderland Retry by Haro Aso].
Summary: It's been six years after the meteor incident in Shibuya, Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi got married and Usagi got pregnant of Arisu and they're in wait for the child to be born. Once again, Arisu finds himself in Borderland once again with his niece; Sayumi Arisu and his niece best friend; Kenji Nakahara when a building fall off on them. Now that Arisu Ryohei remembers everything that happened in Borderland; he and his niece and best friend and old familiar friends enter the final stage of Borderland and confront the new Borderland citizens that decided to stay in that world.
New games. New facecards. And a new facecard known as The Joker. ¿Will Arisu and his niece and friends will end the last stage and go back to the real world? ¿Or will they die surviving in that world?.
Find out in: Alice In Borderland Retry; The final stage.
Note: This is a concept of how I think they would adapt Haro Aso's continuation of the Alice In Borderland Manga following the Live Action Series rewriten as either a new season or a movie.
Some of the old characters that I think they would be around when the incident happened that I think they could possibly return to Borderland are: Ryohei Arisu. Shuntaro Chishiya. Akane Heiya and Suguru Niragi. [The others I didn't know if they could be included so I left them out; Usagi is pregnant with Arisu's baby back in the real world. Rizuna An would be back in the real world as a Police Scientist Forescence working with the bodies of the people who got in the incident of the building while Kuina would be in the real world teaching Karate to Kids and as for Aguni he would be working at Hatter's shop selling hats back in the real world they all deserved their happy ending and not return and die in Borderland].

cooking!
summary: the reader is learning how to cook, but no one likes it.
content: fluff (not exactly fluff, but is kinda cute), no pronouns used, reader is a devil fruit user
pairing: law x gn!reader
word count: 1.336
an: haro everynyan. I can finally write something, so i'm writing about my hushband, tell me if you like it, please. by the way, this akuma no mi power I thought for an OC of mine! I want to write something for her (maybe a one-shot or even a few chapters of a fanfic, I don't know), let me know what you think!
Law left his office late at night. It was one of those days when he had spent too much time in his office, and his body was starting to crave even the slightest bit of attention. He walked into the kitchen, hoping there would be some leftovers from tonight's dinner; he could feel the pressure of the sea in his ears, making the place even quieter than it already was.
But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing; he appreciated these moments of silence, when all the crew members should already be asleep or quietly going about their activities. The clock and the silence were his only indications that night had arrived in a place where sunlight barely reached.
The silence was broken as he approached the kitchen; he could hear soft music playing and a sad humming. Light seeped out from under the door, indicating that someone was still outside the room.
With calm steps, he approached. Initially, his intention was to get something to eat, but now he wanted to find out who was singing. As he approached the door, Law could feel a gust of wind coming through the gaps. If he didn't know his crew, he would have been quite surprised when he opened the door and saw the plates floating in the air in an orderly synchronization. But he couldn't help but be enchanted by the way they moved through the kitchen, following a sequence to be cleaned, dried, and then put away.
"Hello, captain," you said, stopping your singing in tune with the music. He entered and closed the door behind him, containing the air flow that kept the plates in order, like a production line. He also noticed the little Den Den Mushi humming a melancholic tune.
"Y/N," he greeted you. You had the power to control the wind, which was quite useful in battles, especially due to your abilities and creativity in manipulating your power. But it was also useful in everyday situations like this, where you could simply wash the dishes while using your abilities to finish all the work.
"What are you doing up at this hour?" he asked with his usual formality. You had recently joined the crew and had never really talked to him before, and you thought you never would. He was always locked in his office, focusing on things other than wasting time talking to a newcomer on his ship.
"Just… washing the dishes," there was a strange tone in your voice, as if there was a lump in your throat preventing you from speaking. Law noticed it.
"Are you sure?" It was impressive how he could notice subtle things. You were sure that beneath his stoic nature, there was a person who was attentive to everything happening around him. You admired that about him. "You don't have to speak if you don't want to." He walked through the kitchen, carefully avoiding the floating dishes. His eyes searched for food, anything that could quiet the rumbling in his stomach.
That's when he found a shy tray with three cupcakes, hidden next to a gigantic pile of plates. They seemed to have been decorated by a child, with crooked icing and colorful star-shaped sprinkles.
Law found it adorable.
"C-Captain!" you said, finally finishing washing the huge pile of plates. "Don't eat those."
"Oh," he shared a glance between you and the tray. "Are they already reserved?"
You sighed with his innocence. "No. But I'm going to throw them away."
"Why?" He picked one up. "They look good." He could see that the icing was poorly mixed, so there were still parts that were white instead of being colored with dye. "Have you tasted them?" Normally, he wouldn't insist or even ask about such things, but he couldn't see a reason to throw away food.
"I made them," your voice had a hint of sadness, as if you had been crying before he arrived. "No one wanted to eat them because of that."
"Why?" he asked again, sounding like a child with so many questions. However, his expression was curious, as if he wanted to know why you sounded so frustrated.
"I-I…" you held both hands in front of you, trying to gather the courage to tell your captain, as if you were ready to reveal a secret. "I'm trying to learn how to cook."
He raised an eyebrow, expecting you to continue your story, although he already had an idea of where it was going.
"When we saw the Straw Hats… I was impressed by Sanji's cooking skills," he raised his eyebrows at the mention of the cook. "It reminded me of an old desire to cook when I was younger. I loved cooking with my mother, but I didn't really do much myself." Law listened attentively to your story as he looked at the cupcake in his hand.
"I asked him to teach me a few things, but he could only teach me how to cook rice properly and make onigiri," Law looked up at you, his expression always calm. You sighed before continuing. "So, I tried to continue without his help, using a recipe book I bought on an island. And apparently, I'm terrible at cooking!" Law hid his look of pity.
"No one wants to try what I make because apparently everything turns out bad!" Law saw some frustrated tears rolling down your face. "This fucking cupcake didn't turn out bad! I tasted it! But no one wanted to even try it."
You watched Law delicately peel off the cupcake wrapper and then take a bite of the cake. A bit of icing stuck to his nose without him noticing. You found it adorable.
The cupcake wasn't anything special; in fact, it looked like just another regular cupcake, but it was tasty enough for him to want another one. He couldn't understand why someone wouldn't want to eat it.
"This is good, Y/N-ya," you sighed in relief, afraid that he would also complain. If he did, you would probably throw yourself into the sea at the first opportunity. "I don't understand why they refused."
You smiled, wondering if he was just being kind or if he genuinely meant it. You didn't know him intimately, but Law didn't seem like the type of person who would lie just to please someone. You thanked him with a heavy heart, deciding not to irritate him with such a question.
"Can I have another one?" he asked after finishing the one he had taken. You nodded, and he headed back to the tray. "You know, I can cook too," he commented, and you looked at him in surprise.
"I usually don't have much time for it," he sighed, taking another bite of the cupcake and once again smearing the tip of his nose. "But I cook sometimes for the crew, and sometimes for myself when everyone is asleep."
It was strange to see him like this, his tall figure slightly hunched over and his disheveled hair without the hat. He was wearing casual clothes and talking about mundane things like cooking, which contrasted with the serious and calculating figure he imposed on himself. "If you want, I can teach you what little I know," you returned his gaze to his eyes, wondering if you had heard correctly. "Apparently, we have some spare time until the next island."
"S-Sorry?" you asked as if your ears had deceived you.
"Um…" for some reason, his cheeks were tinged with a light blush. "I said I can teach you what little I know, you know… about cooking?" He seemed embarrassed now.
"Oh, I would love that!" you accepted, with a gleam of excitement in your eyes. Law looked at you as if he was melting in your eyes.
You approached him, carefully wiping the icing off the tip of his nose. "It was dirty." You saw the man blush so intensely that it looked like he was going to change color at any moment. "Thank you, Captain," you smiled sweetly.
Law's face turned bright red, seeing how lovely you looked when you smiled. He began to regret it, mentally wondering if he could handle seeing such a kind smile from you frequently.
oh to have a Law pressing me against the kitchen counter

BestFriend!Chishiya
Minors, do not read! Contains mentions of smutty behavior!
MASTERLIST (up-to-date)
This is Part 1! !!HERE!! is Part 2! !!HERE!! is Part 3! !!HERE!! is Part 4!
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Alice in Borderland/Imawa no Kuni no Alice characters or original stories, only the plot of this fanfic. Alice in Borderland/Imawa no Kuni no Alice characters and original storyline belong to Haro Aso, who made the Manga the Series is based on.
Trigger Warning: Explicit Smut in later Parts, both Characters are Teens, Slight Toxic Behavior, Complicated Consensual/Not-Consensual Behavior Summery: Chishiya x Female Reader
BestFriend!Chishiya who you have known since Childhood. You were totally in awe how smart and independent he was, and he liked that someone viewed him as that, so you two became friends. Sort of. It’s complicated.
BestFriend!Chishiya who grew up with you around him, getting used to you calling him a genius in your sarcastic tone, whenever he informs you, sitting on his high horse, of all the errors you have done on the last test, especially the math ones. You are so bad at math, and he is so smart. You smile every time tho and he smirks cocky.
BestFriend!Chishiya smirks a lot, bit he gives you his honest ones. You know of his problems with his parents and them never really being there for him. You don’t know everything, just the bit he told you, but unlike other people, you are the person he trusts the most, so he shares some of his vulnerable moments with you. Not many, he is a cool guy after all and there is no way he lets something like his past destroy that.
BestFriend!Chishiya who you had sleepovers with since you were a little kid. You always come to his house. Your many siblings and overbearing parents don’t understand how you could befriend someone like him. They already tease you and sometimes try to push you to make new friends, but you don’t want to.
BestFriend!Chishiya doesn’t get along with many people and because of that you don’t make many other friends, but if you do, those friendships always break apart when your new friends like to point out how awful BestFriend!Chishiya is and downright mean. You don’t like what they say so you dump them.
BestFriend!Chishiya is more than happy about that. Your friends come and go, but he always stays with you and you with him. Even in your teens you two have regular sleepovers.
BestFriend!Chishiya is still way better then you at math and tutors you a lot. You do homework together and then he asks you if you want to stay for dinner. After dinner he tells you if you really want to walk home in this neighborhood and at this hour. He makes sure to point out how someone like you could easily get kidnapped and worse. He scares you so much, that he must hide his grin when you later ask him with a worried face and a shaky voice if he minds you staying for the night. Just this night, you say, tomorrow I will walk home after school.
But BestFriend!Chishiya asks you if you need help with homework after the next school day. He drops in passing that you are still so bad in math, that you maybe have to repeat this year if you don’t put in some effort, but hey it’s your future after all, right?
BestFriend!Chishiya walks away without another word and you follow him after hesitating for a moment, telling him that maybe you will take his offer “It wasn’t an offer, I was just stating the facts” he said, smirking when you panic for a moment, then adding “If you want me to teach you again you have to offer ME first something in return for the hassle”
You promise BestFriend!Chishiya to buy him his favorite chocolate but he waves this away. His parents have left him enough money to buy whatever he wants. You then ask him what he wants, and he will act like he is thinking for a moment and then whisper in your ear, that it’s a surprise.
Later, when all homework is done and Dinner has been eaten, BestFriend!Chishiya comes up to you and tells you it’s time to pay your debt. You smile, cause hey this sounds like a funny game, what will he make you do? Kiss a frog, or maybe scream obscenities from the balcony? But BestFriend!Chishiya has something else in mind.
BestFriend!Chishiya tells you that when you go to take a bath, he wants to stay in the bathroom and watch you. He is kidding right, you think and laugh but BestFriend!Chishiya remains totally serious and you tell him no, no way will you agree to that.
BestFriend!Chishiya knows what he is doing. He states facts to wrap you around his finger. He tells you that it’s just for research reasons, nothing sexual, but you don’t buy it. He then says that he wants to become a doctor, which you already knew of, so he needs to know the human body and he wants to know more than just what books and diagrams can show him. You are his friend so that’s okay right? It’s not like he wants something from you or you from him, right? The both of you are teens, 16 in age so there is nothing wrong with it, don’t you agree?
BestFriend!Chishiya sees you aren’t fully convinced but you have to agree that his reasons sound kind of reasonable, which they totally aren’t, BestFriend!Chishiya knows this, but he also knows very well how to talk you into things and he is using this knowledge to his advance.
You have to admit that BestFriend!Chishiya was always the more ambitioned one. The one who strived for understanding things and information’s beyond what the everyday person wants. He was very intelligent after all, consuming news and learning at a way higher speed then you could ever master, so maybe his request wasn’t unreasonable at all, you just didn’t understand it because you weren’t seeing the world like him, thru his observant wary eyes.
BestFriend!Chishiya has you hooked. You say yes and when you walk into the bathroom later, pushing the bath as far away as possible, you slightly shiver and your hands clench and unclench into fists. You want to undress first and then let him in, but he tells you that this is dumb. He will see everything anyway, so why making a fuss over it? Just get it done and you do, feeling like you act illogical, and he is right after all.
BestFriend!Chishiya watches as you take off your school uniform in front of him. You don’t face him, can’t. Your back is towards him, and you steal glances from time to time to look at his face but there is no expression at all. He looks like when he studied the dead frog’s corps during class. Focused and totally in his element. You on the other side feel so exposed and ashamed like never before. If you weren’t naked already, you maybe would take your legs into your hands and run, but there was no going back, not after he stepped forward, his arm expanding and his hand reaching for your body.
BestFriend!Chishiya raises his eyes to yours when you back away as a reflex. He knows he got you, but he still had to be careful not to let his true intentions slip thru the facade of reasons. His hand reaches for you again, this time you have yourself better under control and don’t move at all, while his fingers wrap lightly around your waist. Eyes travel down to every piece of exposed skin, and he likes what he sees, damn he really does.
BestFriend!Chishiya is thankful that he is able to control his body better then you and way better than his urges, specifically his carnal ones that made him trap you into this situation. Ever since you two got older, you starting to bloom into a young and beautiful woman, he also felt the changes in him. Like the first night when he woke up in the middle of his sleep, surrounded by pitch black nothing with a wet spot around the center of his crotch and his heart pumping the blood so fast thru him, his ears couldn’t hear anything else.
BestFriend!Chishiya had his first wet dream and you were a significant part of it. There wasn’t anything special about it. Nothing too sexual or overly bothering. In his dream the two of you had been sitting on the rooftop of your school building. It was breaktime and you starred into the sky while your head was lying on his lower body, and he was reading a book he couldn’t remember. Nothing else. Just this and still, after that night, many more followed, until one morning he woke up to his pants standing up like a tent with a hard on erection underneath, that he had to get rid of in the same bathroom you were standing right now, hoping you won’t wake up before he had finished.
BestFriend!Chishiya has felt his interest for you growing since then and it wasn’t in a friendly manner. Day after day passes and he beats his meat at night, with you sleeping next to him in his bed, cause that’s how you two have always done it since childhood so why changing it now? Oh, you were so innocent, so naïve. For you, nothing has changed since then. The two of you were still friends, best friends to be clear, so what if others didn’t understood your relationship, BestFriend!Chishiya was special so it was only logic for that friendship to be special too, right?
When BestFriend!Chishiya hands roamed your body up and down, grabbing your tits, pinching your nipples and squeezing your ass after turning you around, you were more than confused when he let go off you and walked to the tub at the end of the room, turning on the faucet and feeling the waters temperature until he was content with it and let the tub fill up.
BestFriend!Chishiya gave you a reassuring smile, as if everything was okay and you were going to take a bath like always. Nothing weird has happened between the both of you, that’s what you told yourself, but you still gauged at his crotch when he set down on the edge, expecting to see at least a hidden sign of an erection, but nothing. Dead pants. This all really must have been just for research for him.
BestFriend!Chishiya caught you starring and followed your gaze, snapping you out of your mind with a mocking comment “Hoping to see something?” you immediately shook your head, almost getting whiplash from how hard and fast you did it but BestFriend!Chishiya grin only widens “Sure” he said and you felt the need to defend yourself and your actions “I was not!”
BestFriend!Chishiya raised his arms, feigning defense “Hey, I’m not the one who makes this weird” You want to scream at him, to hit him on his shoulder and tell him he is the creep that requested you undressing for him, but you remember his reasons and his non-existent arousal, asking yourself, if you did hoped to see some reaction from him. You felt a little let down, that after seeing you naked, touching and squeezing parts of you no man has ever seen before, he could just turn around and go back to normal, with no effect on him at all. Where you that unattractive?
BestFriend!Chishiya made you question things you have never thought about before, your eyes side eyeing his hidden penis. BestFriend!Chishiya sighed, making you realize you have been caught again “Anything you wanna ask?” you didn’t answer “Just spit it out, unless you want to keep undressing me with your eyes” you gasp, shocked at his accusations “I wasn’t…” you stammered but he shut you up with a look that pretty much said, Bitch please.
BestFriend!Chishiya waited, watching you open and closing your mouth again and again. The wheels in your head turning, trying to find the right words “Do you not…feel anything?”
BestFriend!Chishiya scoffs “I feel bored” you shake your head “No I mean do you not feel something…else?”
BestFriend!Chishiya ask “Like?” and you fidget with your hands, the fact that you were naked in front of him, your chest and everything right on display for him to take in, completely forgotten “Like” you begin “Some…arousal…maybe?”
BestFriend!Chishiya takes a deep breath but you interrupt him before he can say something “I-I mean I wasn’t expecting something, it’s just usually, I mean no, normally, yes normally a man reacts differently to a female…naked” you end and BestFriend!Chishiya titles his head “Do I give off the impression that I am like normal guys?” and you don’t answer right away, instead search for better words, but nothing comes to your mind “No” you finally admit, but it sounds more like a question and BestFriend!Chishiya must hide his smirk, knowing now you were really hoping do see a different reaction on him after this whole scenario.
BestFriend!Chishiya plays it cool by shrugging his shoulders “I guess I need something more to really get into the mood. As I said, a naked body is something a doctor sees on a daily base and I have seen some for study reasons, so I guess I see yours with the same eyes. Meat on bones” that did hurt more then you had anticipated. You never wished for BestFriend!Chishiya to few you as anything else then a friend, let alone some sexually attractive female, so why did it sting so much to hear that he wasn’t looking at you in any other way than he looked at those human models in biology class.
BestFriend!Chishiya gets back on his feet, he takes a long look at you, which is okay, you are way too deep into your thoughts to realize him starring at your sex, imagining his cum dripping down your thighs, after he stuffs your body full of it.
“Wanna see it?” BestFriend!Chishiya asks and catches you by surprise. His dark orbs are now back on your face, erasing any signs of filthy thoughts he had. You don’t understand what he meant “Come again?”
“If it troubles you so much, there is no point in getting all worked up, when the solution is so easy.”
You still don’t understand what BestFriend!Chishiya is trying to say, so he tugs at the hem of his school uniform trousers and cocks his head with a smirk “You showed me yours, I’ll show you mine”
“Oh” is all coming from you, your brain short circuited at the thought of seeing him LIKE THAT and before you can really think about what this means, before you are able to calculate all the possible happenings after this and how your friendship could turn out when all this is over, your voice whispered a small “Okay” and BestFriend!Chishiya almost laughed at your reaction, which he totally saw coming.
BestFriend!Chishiya unbuttoned his pants, unzipped the clothing and pulled down his legwear. You were holding your breath, about to pass out, when he stopped and instead proceeded with his shirt, his bare chest making you gasp for air.
Then, BestFriend!Chishiya made a show of slowly sinking his thumbs into his boxers and pulling them down teasingly, until his cock was all out and he let the fabric pool around his ankles, stepping out of both clothing’s. You should look away, anywhere, best would be his face, to create some kind of normality, instead you stare at his at his long and girthy dick, unable to look away “How did you fit that into any clothes?”
BestFriend!Chishiya looked down and then smirked up at you, walking with cautions steps towards your form, so he doesn’t scare you away with his sight “Are you telling me I’m big?” he asked teasing, reaching for your hand, squeezing it, reassuring you that everything is alright, before pulling it towards his sex wrapping your fingers around the soft meat. Your breathing hitched, unable to comprehend what is happening right now.
BestFriend!Chishiya saw this. He saw how overburdened you were with all that happened so far, and he decided, even tho he wanted more, it was enough for the day. The tub was full now. He carefully took your hand from his cock, not missing the small twitch of every single finger, before maneuvering you towards the hot water, helping you step inside, carefully, then joining you by sitting down on the other side. Too much body contact and nudity would probably make you pass out, so he keeps that for another day. The foundation was there now.
BestFriend!Chishiya was free to build on it however he planned and he was good at planning things after all everything that happened today, from the moment you left school, to you touching him, was all well calculated and thought thru and you followed every step he laid out for you, right into the rabbit hole.

Shuichi was the first one to meet you. He had seen you in a libary, and after approching you he found out how sweet and charming you were. You immadiatly got his attantion.Furuya though, had met you while working. You sat in the Poirot, being already so polite when he came to you to get youre order, even if you werent able to speak japanese that well. But that was no problem with Furuyas english skills. He was somehow bound to see you more often, finding you regulary in the Café or sitting in a Park when he was walking haro. He easily found himself falling for you.The same was for Shuichi, you we're quit often in the libary, almost on a daily Basis. Sometimes even in the supermarket. Youre smile and laugh was to die for. He could'nt help but want you for himself. It was like fate, you were made for eachother. He was more calm and quit and you, you were joyfull and a chatty person. So one day, it comes, and Furuya finds you with Akai in the store going grocery shopping. And he is pissy. How comes that AKAI is always where he's aswell? And now hes also getting lovely dovley with the woman HE lost HIS heart to? Hes not gonna let him away with this. You deserve better.Akai obviosly catching up on his weirdly I-know-better behaivier and making it his goal to make you fall for him. It was his plan to court you anyways, so why not make it a little game to show whos better? Akai loves to rail Furuya up, and seeing you smile makes his heart do things, he never thought possible.Shuichi is now provocating furuya whos passive agressivly talking back at him. Too confused by this weird arguement you continue you're Shopping and end up leaving with neither of them. When rei meets you again, he apolegised and promised that this would never happen again. But he did, told you to stay away from Akai. Saying he would be no good and could get you in danger. So now, they both always fight for youre attantion,to win youre heart. Furuya compliments you whenever he gets the chance, ask you out for a walk or for dinner at a expensive Restaurant.Shuichi offering to drive you to youre Uni/College/ whatever, whenever you want. Ask you to come at his place and makes you try his curry. Flirts to make youre heart flip like he wants to.Just, for some reason, it never makes a diffrents. No matter what they do, or how often they flirt. You dont seem to catch up in their behaivor.
Work made by @lostin7hsky I dont own these character. Dont repost without my consent!

ok here's the essay
So. How much evidence is there that the Fanatic was the god of knowledge before Shamura? Not much. The game is deliberately vague on what exactly the Fanatic was the god of, but there's just enough crumbs to point in that direction. They tell the Lamb they are waiting for "one who values truth over all else" and in tablet II they pray to the Great Ones for understanding. They also give the Lamb the snake follower form; the serpent tempts Eve to eat from the tree of *knowledge* of good and evil, so the symbolism is there.
The smoking gun for me, though, is the early unused version of tablet X.
"I am shamed, shamed. I deserve no forgiveness. I deserve to die here, shrouded in sin. I renounced the First Gods. How easily pain made a defector of me. I will take whatever punishment is due, but I beg you, reader of these chronicles, remember: they call their faith old, but they are nothing more than heretics. He of havoc, he of blight; she of hunger, they of might. He that lays a soul to rest; five remain of hundreds blessed."
From there we can infer a few things:
The bishops obviously did Something to the Fanatic.
The Fanatic had to be tortured into going along with whatever that Something was. It wasn't just inflicted on them, their cooperation was needed somehow, possibly as part of a ritual or spell.
It didn't kill them. They even managed to get out one last tablet afterward.
We never find out what exactly it was; the Fanatic only describes it as having "renounced the First Gods".
By the time the story starts, the Fanatic isn't around anymore. We hear their voice but that's it.
We know that gods in the COTL universe canonically leave behind a "lingering presence". That lingering presence can persist even if the god loses the Crown and becomes a mortal, or even dies as a mortal; this is what happens with the bishops.
Tablet IX and the Offering to the Owl also heavily imply Haro was once a god of hunting, who willingly relinquished the title for unknown reasons. Maybe this is what the Fanatic meant by "the Owl has chosen a different tact"; giving up their proper godhood, leaving them with their weaker current form (notably, Haro's crown has a crossed-out eye, like it's "dead").
From Ancient Tablet IX: "[…] for regardless of what they threaten, I shall never relinquish my beliefs."
In tablet VIII, the Fanatic refers to their crown as "the blessing of the First at my brow". HMM.
In tablet VII we learn Shamura approached the Fanatic seeking their allegiance, but was turned away. HMMMMMMMMM.
IF, indeed, Shamura found a way to take domain over knowledge from its rightful owner, in addition to already having domain over war, that would add a whole new layer of thematic resonance to their story. The creators have said a big theme in COTL is that those who try to deviate from their nature are usually punished by the universe. Shamura getting greedy, claiming another god's domain in addition to their own, their newfound domain over knowledge leading them to encourage Narinder's experiments, and it all blowing up in their face catastrophically… their descent into madness makes a nice parallel with Chemach also
tl;dr: ITS REAL. I FIGURED IT OUT, ITS REAL, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE M
This is SO interesting and I'm frying my brain trying to comprehend this in all its glory while I watch @linkerbell draw one of the most cursed images i've ever seen
OKAY BUT HARO GOD OF THE HUNT YEAH SHAKES HAND SHAKES HAND

Cult of the Lamb: All Hidden Lore
i've seen some folks in the tags talking about the lack of discussion of the newly added lore to the game. i figured it was because no one's collected and posted all of them all on tumblr yet, so i took the time to compile and transcribe all the Tablets and Notes into one post.
these are in order of Tablets I-X, Haro's/the meat room's note, Monch's room's note, and Lost Messages I-III. i have transcribed them exactly as they are written, special capitalizations and all. feel free to use as reference!
Ancient Tablets (Found on Crusades)
Ancient Tablet I
Writings from a time long passed.
"I meant only to survive, and yet she, feathered hand of Great Ones gone, has seen me to be worthy. Oh, First Gods, guide me! I devote myself to you, wholly, body and soul. I will strike down dissent. I will cull doubt. I will nourish this Crown and be worthy of this power. In blood, I swear."
Ancient Tablet II
Writings from a time long passed.
"Great Ones, I find fragments of your power across these vast lands. The blades once gripped by your mighty fists, the tears once fallen from your all-seeing eyes, the ichor that runs through the very veins of the earth... I seek your understanding. I prostrate myself before you. I vow that those who will not serve in their life will serve with their death instead."
Ancient Tablet III
Writings from a time long passed.
"Simple things... silly, almost... creatures seek protection in my shadow, pour faith into my soul and by their devotion I am changed. I was like them, once..."
Ancient Tablet IV
Writings from a time long passed.
"I used to think them strange, these three feathered beasts, unworn and unweathered by the passage of time. To be keepers of Godly tools, and yet not be tempted to Godliness themselves - do they not hunger as we do?
Now, wisened in age, I understand. Hatched beneath the First, they crave no power, seek no other fulfillment, for it is not in their nature. And it is by nature that we must abide."
Ancient Tablet V
Writings from a time long passed.
"My pilgrimage has lead me thus, to the caverns of a Godly skull, remnants of a Great One now decaying into earth. The air here smells sweet, the soil rich and dark... I hear whispers, I feel watched, yet there is naught around, just these strange, small mushrooms, their spots almost like eyes... but that's impossible...?"
Ancient Tablet VI
Writings from a time long passed.
"I had not seen her in some dozen years, perhaps a score, perhaps a hundred. She is changed, alarmingly so, the mutilation of her body naught compared to the madness taking root in her mind. Her kin were indifferent. 'Twas foreseen, the card reader said. I asked, what of her duty? What of the Crowns? What of her very nature?
And the smith answered: it is lost."
Ancient Tablet VII
Writings from a time long passed.
"I have lived long, too long for simple memory and so I must continue to chronicle these histories. Followers rise, bloom, and die, like so much clover on the ground, and my troublesome peers, Gods by a right no longer divine, rise and fall like tides cut free from the moon. One came to my temple, young and ambitious and thirsty for war. I dismissed them. I will not abide by such blasphemy."
Ancient Tablet VIII
Writings from a time long passed.
"Whispers reach my temple. Gods fallen, shrines crumbled, Followers taken, and Crowns simply gone. Our numbers are beginning to dwindle. I do not fear. I will swing my righteous axe, draw my zealous sword, and know that I walk with the blessing of the First at my brow. Heresy shall not be tolerated in these Lands."
Ancient Tablet IX
Writings from a time long passed.
"Yngya cannot be found, and the leaves change no more. 'Tis clear, now, that none shall survive this purging. The Owl has chosen a different tact, one I cannot condone; for regardless of what they threaten, I shall never relinquish my beliefs. They call me the greatest of fanatics, and perchance this is true: for I would rather perish than sacrifice my devotion. Great Ones, I am yours eternally."
Ancient Tablet X
Writings from a time long passed.
"He of havoc, he of blight; she of hunger, they of might. He that lays a soul to rest; five remain of hundreds blessed."
Haro/Meat Room's Note
Offering to the Owl
A prayer to the Hunter.
"Great Hunter, we write this prayer and leave this offering in the hopes you will grant us triumph in our hunt. We vow to take no more than we need, and leave the brooding and the young. May we be swift and silent as you, Hunter."
Monch's Room's Note
Ripped Note
Written in fear, covered in dirt.
"We've been hiding for days. I'm hungry, but I'm too scared to leave this place, though the earth no longer shakes. I didn't know the Bishops could bleed. The fifth... we dare not speak his name. Soon we won't remember it. But he waits. He will always wait."
Lost Messages (Found in Graveyards)
Lost Message I
A torn letter, stained with blood.
"Found a herd. Taken care of. Let the Worm know I seek the next."
Lost Message II
A torn letter, stained with blood.
"One fled my blade. I will find it. The Bishops need not concern themselves. I do as I am told, and only as I am told."
Lost Message III
A torn letter, stained with blood.
"I found the last, hidden deep in the Lands. It followed me, silent, to the ritual grounds. When my task is at last complete, I will bury it with the others."
this is all the lore for now until they possibly add more. enjoy!

Haru Kato x Reader 💗
I'm sad that there's no Haru x reader hcs/scenarios so I wrote smtng to make y'all's day *PS it gets kinda dirty but nothing happens lol*. Hope you enjoy!
It was on a cold cloudy afternoon that y/n decided to go on a little stroll through the nature. She already informed her family about it and took her phone just in case, because let's be honest, who in today's world doesn't have a phone with themselves? She put on her favorite pair of boots and a jacket her mother often complained about. So what if it wasn't thick enough? She loved the jacket and guys would usually give her the looks whenever she crossed paths with them. She loved the attention, that brought her in trouble most of the time.
She entered the snow-covered forest, a place she knew and paths that led to the unknown. However, the curiosity took the best of her so she continued through the branches that lay on the ground and the stones that challenged her. Going for a little adventure wasn't such a bad thing, exploring her surroundings was supposed to be a positive experience. Every once in a while a person grows tired with responsibilities, sometimes people wander around in order to avoid facing the boring part of their lives. It was relaxing and the fresh air cooled away her worries. As much as she appreciated the bird's singing in the distance, y/n put on her headphones and listened to her favorite music. The crunching of snow no longer bothered her and a little penetration through it brought a smile on her face. The place was quiet and peaceful and she loved the way everything looked so much more beautiful thanks to the icicles shining from the pine woods. I mean, holy cow! Sometimes she forgot to just stop and take it all in.
And nothing could ever compare to that awestrucking view on the other side of the hill. The landscape was covered in beautiful combinations of white, blue and black and y/n couldn't help herself but to feel amazed. This was soooo going to end up on her Instagram profile. Her friend would be absolutely devastated upon seeing it, she should be sorry for not joining her when she called and y/n enjoyed every bit of it. She approached and climbed a wrecked tree to catch a better picture, her hands were a little shaky and the cool air sent chills though her body. Mom was always right about everything. Screw it.
She took a step further and, unfortunately, the crust she was standing on was so slippery that her leg moved away and she fell into a trapping pit. Her body hurt a little but otherwise she regained herself, everything seemed to be fine, she was okay and she comforted herself, until she tried to move her left leg but to no avail. She was in so much pain and she felt like screaming. It wasn't fair and the tears started to gather in her eyes. She felt cold and her pants and jacket were soaked from being covered in the snow thanks to the awkward fall.
Fuck, fuck, FUCK! What the fuck was the goddamn pit even doing here? It seemed like the freaking hunters forgot to clean after their stupid ass selves. And rangers never reported the losers in the first place. Screw them! Screw them all!... But then she laughed under her breath. Who was she kidding? It was her who was so stupidly clumsily that she couldn't keep her fucking balance. Maybe she messed up her leg for a reason? Was she punished by some higher ass force for her stupid deeds? Of course, she was so goddamn stupid and she hated herself. The pain and the cold never ceased to leave her body and she rubbed her hands together.
And then she remembered something, her phone! She tried to find it somewhere, anywhere around the place but after 5min of thorough searching she concluded that it wasn't there, that it landed somewhere around the pit and y/n felt like loosing all the hope that still remained in her.
Hopeless and disappointed, y/n squeezed into herself and, having no other choice, endured the pain and waited for someone to save her. She yelled and yelled for help in case someone was walking nearby but after so many times of persistently trying to attract someone's attention, she decided to give up because she only grew weaker and colder.
She didn't even know how much the time has passed and she felt so tired that everything she wanted to do was fall asleep but she tried to keep herself awake. She didn't want to pass out just yet. Y/n continued blowing warm air on her hands, hoping to keep herself warm. She often watched on the television how professional survivers kept themselves warm by doing all kinds of exercises. Since y/n couldn't walk, she stretched the rest of her upper body but it didn't feel any better. The more she stretched, the colder she felt. She was also afraid of sweat freezing her skin so she decided to sit like that, pinned to the wall as much as possible to at least keep her back covered.
Fuck her and her fucked ass life. She started to overthink things. How she let her family and her friends down. Everyone who loved and cared for her so dearly will hear about the news, that is, if anyone manages to find her and her dead body lying on the ground all frozen. She replayed her entire life in her head and y/n felt like crying again. She slowly but surely lost all the expectations of returning home alive.
After a while of quiet sobbing she heard someone's steps nearing her place and shouting her name. Y/n grew alert.
"I'm here!! I'm here!! Oh God please help me out please!" she exclaimed desperately.
A guy with light brown hair and golden eyes peered from the corner of the pit. His hair looked somewhat unruly and styled with messy and loose bangs framing his face.
"So you're Y/N! Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?"
"Well duh Sherlock, how do you think I ended up here? The pit is at least 5m deep! And I rolled down that hill over there!"
Haru flinched, he didn't like the tone of her voice. "Everything is going to be fine, try to calm down and take my hand.", he got to his knees and leaned forward to reach her.
Y/n tried to stand up one more time but the immense pain pierced through her once again and she screamed.
"What happened?!" Haru grew concerned.
"I.. I can't stand on my left leg. It hurts so much."
"Alright, stay where you are. I'll try to-" as Haru was about to turn from leaning from his previous position, his hand slipped and, losing the support, he fell into the pit and groaned in discomfort. Y/n couldn't believe her own eyes. The only person who could help her in this very moment got trapped together with her. She didn't know if she should laugh or cry, she felt like losing her mind.
"Y/n, it isn't as bad as you think. Here, I took my ph-" Haru looked at his phone and noticed that it got broken from falling to the ground full force.
Y/n started sobbing and Haru jumped in surprise. He felt really bad and hugged her to calm her down. "I know you're in pain and I know how harsh it must be to stay down here for such a long time, but everything is going to be okay. Your parents already informed the police and we were searc-"
"My parents called the police?!" y/n shouted in surprise.
"Yes they noticed you've been absent longer than usual so they sent us to search after you."
"Wait. You're a police officer?"
"Yea I'm sorry for not wearing the classic black uniform you people got so used to. Things happened and I-"
"iactuallythinkthatyou'rekindahot"
"What?"
"nevermind"
Haru blushed and y/n tried to change the topic.
"How did you manage to find me?"
"I barely caught your location through your phone so I followed it, but the signal got interrupted every once in a while because we're in the middle of the forest after all so let's say that it was the sheer luck that I managed to find y-"
Y/n started tearing again and Haru panicked "I mean it's not the luck that helped me, you have to believe me! Look, my colleagues are already searching for us so they'll definitely find us!"
"Yes but how long will it take them to do so?"
"..." Haru felt really bad for her, he tried to make her feel better but even he wasn't so sure how to do it. "They're professionals so don't worry. They'll come here soon."
"I hope you're right.." y/n squeezed into herself once again and hid her face between her crossed hands. "Why do I always need to mess everything up? Because of me you ended up trapped as well."
"Please don't blame yourself, I ended up here because of my own clumsiness.. Man I'm such a klutz."
"We're both like walking disasters."
They laughed and Haru continued the conversation to pass the time. He talked about himself and the tragic thing that happened which led him to leave the First Division and join the MCPTF. He also talked about Daisuke and all the things that annoyed him about his partner, but in the end he concluded that he believes that he's not so bad despite his wealthy background.
Y/n fell more in love the further she listened to him. He was so kind, humanistic and just. He always paid attention to other people's needs and risked his life on many occasions to protect others. He's passionate about his work and he's really sympathetic, even towards those who didn't deserve it.
"You're such a nice person Haru. Just like a guardian angel." y/n smiled.
"R-really? I don't hear this often haha!" he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.
"It's true. Why are you being so modest? You should appreciate yourself more."
"I think it’s for the best if only one of us has an ego. Because, if I were of the same nature, I don't know how Kambe would react. He is a difficult person."
"I think you're too good for him. Try to give him a taste of his own medicine."
"You want to corrupt me? You're the bad girl type or something?" Haru teased and y/n blushed.
"N-no I just think that you deserve more respect from him." y/n fiddled with her fingers and Haru smiled, he found her little quirks so adorable.
"I think that you're a beautiful person as well, Y/n."
The air between them became tense and they blushed.
"Thank you Haru, I'm glad you think so."
Y/n talked about herself as well, her job, family and friends and how she ended up in the pit in the first place. She tried to stand up again but it still hurt her and she hissed in pain.
"You shouldn't force yourself. Here, take my jacket."
"You want me to put the jacket over a jacket? But what about you? You'll only stay in your shirt."
"I don't mind. My top priority right now is to make sure that you come home safe and sound and in order to do this, I need to keep you warm."
"But-"
"No buts." Haru took off his jacket, wrapped her up, lifted her closer to him and put her into his lap.
"W-w-what are you doing?!!" y/n bonked him on the head and he yelped in pain.
"It's better if you sit on me than on the cold hard floor, you're going to get sick. Besides, I can easily warm you up like this so you don't catch hypothermia."
"Oh.. sorry about that."
"It's okay. Look, I understand how you feel right now but I'm not trying to harm you in any way. I already told you everything about myself and I'm not a weirdo. You can trust me."
"Aight aight." Y/n smiled and shifted closer this time. Haru, being the pure guy he was, probably didn't notice how this position made her feel so she wanted to let him know.
She further adjusted in his lap and leaned completely against him, with Haru's head lying on her left shoulder and taking her hands in his bigger ones, rubbing and warming them up.
The close proximity between them was unreal and Y/n smirked at him from the corner of her face.
"Just so you know, this is a very professional behavior." Haru defended himself and y/n felt like breaking into laughter."
"However you say, Mr. Police officer." she whispered in his ear, lips touching the earlobe with every word she spoke and it took him all self-control in this world not to go wild just from that small gesture.
He succeeded at keeping his cool but he didn't succeed at keeping his cool down there and y/n teased him further until he couldn't sit like this anymore.
"Okay okay I get it. Let me think.. try to change positions." Y/n stood up and sat in front of him this time, legs crossed behind his back and hugging him around the torso.
"Warmer~" y/n hummed in delight.
"Y-y/n.. do you really have to put your legs like this?"
"Whoops my bad." she took her leg and threw it over the other, making them face the same direction. Now she was leaning on his left hand, head lying under his own. It was the posture they were both satisfied with and although he could warm her like this, Haru had other problems.
The strain on his suit pants refused to subdue and y/n's hair felt so soft and smelled so nice to him. He became warmer in the face. What was going on with him?
Y/n could feel how stiff and nervous he was so she lifted her head to look at him but his eyes were averted to the other side.
"Is everything alright? Can I help?"
Haru couldn't help himself but to be honest, otherwise he'd just look like an idiot "It's.. not every day that I hold such a beautiful girl in my lap." He looked red and he was breathing heavily. "I'm sorry.. it's just that-"
She stood up from her previous position and sat between him this time.
"What are you doing?" he asked quietly. Y/n took his face in her hands and kissed him carefully which surprised both of them.
What seemed to be a soft passionate exchange soon turned into something rougher, with hands roaming through their bodies and tongues colliding. Haru turned her around and pinned her to the wall.
"This is *sigh* a very bad idea *sigh*".
"Why? Are you seeing someone?"
"No."
"Neither do I." she took him for the collar of his shirt and they made out. Their movements became more frantic and Haru felt a twinge of guilt dawning on him.
"I don't want to hurt you.." he whispered, excitement running through him. "It's hard to suppress myself when I feel like this."
"Why? What do you feel?"
"I.." Haru stopped, his thoughts jumbled inside. "I'm so in love with you and we just met. I mean, it's not like you're a compete stranger since we introduced ourselves and said things about ourselves. You're a beautiful person y/n, and I'm afraid of betraying your trust."
"Haru, there's nothing to be worried about."
"Are you sure about this? Honey this is a big thing."
"Honey huh?" Y/n teased and he hid his face in her neck, embarrassment taking the best of him.
She kissed his hair and hugged him around the neck. "I love you too, Haru. You're the best thing that happened to me."
He took advantage of their position and sucked on her neck, earning a moan from her. As he kissed down her collar bone and she unbuttoned his shirt, they heard someone coughing from above and they froze.
"You're supposed to help a civilian in trouble, Kato-keibu."
Haru stumbled back on the snow in surprise. "I-It's not.. Where were you?! We were waiting for you in ages!"
"HEUSC managed to determine the location despite the signal interference. Seems like you succeeded in finding a nice occupation to fill the time gap."
"It's called body warmth, Kambe."
"I'm sure that body warmth doesn't look like that." Daisuke smirked and Haru looked angry.
"So you're Daisuke Kambe, right?" y/n asked and Daisuke analysed her face with his high tech glasses.
"Yes and you're the person we're searching for. Kato, what are you doing down there besides snogging?"
"Kambe I swear, I slipped awkwardly and fell. Can you grab her with anything to help her get out of here? She sprained her ankle and can't move much."
Daisuke's mechanic hands protruded from his specially-equipped suit and he hoisted them up to the safety.
"Thanks I guess." Haru brushed the snow off of himself and sneezed.
Y/n looked at his unbuttoned shirt and she quickly buttoned it up, blushing from embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry, you can take your jacket back."
"No this is staying on you." He turned his back to her and squatted a little. "Get on, you can't walk this far by yourself."
"A-are you sure?" y/n asked worried.
"It's going to be okay." he smiled at her reassuringly and she complied.
Daisuke watched them from behind and thought about Haru's smile, it wasn't the same as when he looked at Suzue for the first time during their Isezaki mission. His partner was in love and he didn't know why but he found the fact pretty entertaining.

Tag game!! Tag nine people you wanna get to know a bit!
Thank you so much @hyena-frog for the tag!!
Last song; Rhiannon gibbons - at the purchasers option
Last movie; I haven’t seen a movie in so long I think the last one I watched was John carpenters The Thing with my little brother. Also Knives Out but that’s less I’ve seen it recently and more I think about it constantly.
Currently watching; Prodigal Son is fantastic and I’m waiting to catch up on season two. That. And the Mandolorian. I’m not a big Star Wars buff but god I love everything about it. It’s so good.
Currently reading: imma take this as a webcomic kinda thing? Maybe? Either way I’ve been reading a lot of WEBTOONs. Obviously Lore Olympus (it’s one of the biggest comics on the site right now.) The remarried empress, and suitor armor. All of them are fantastic romances, and all of them are worth the read. (I may or may not also be considering reading H*mest*ck because I’ve never gotten through it but I’m a little scared don’t look at me.)
Physical books; the Martian! The one the movie is based off of. It’s a masterpiece, if only how a single character manages to pull an entire story basically on his own. It’s hilarious, it’s guy wrenching, the word “pirate ninjas” is a thing and I love it. So much.
Fics; to catch a fish by @wishingnova it’s so so so good. Yes I am a fish fucker and it is their fault. It’s an X Reader and it’s really slow to update (not that I have any room to say anything about it) BUT ITS SO SO WORTH IT PLS ITS SUCH A GOOD ROMANCE I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
Currently craving: uh... headache medicine and a slice of apple pie :P
Now to tag people. @mustangdelicate @redwingedwhump @haro-whumps @hoe-for-ares @m-austinbooks @a-smol-tree @thegorydamnreaper @violethowler @jasmin-au-bellona
And whoever wants to do something.

Posted by MarieHaynes
If you’ve ever been the victim of a Google penalty, you know how painful it can be to identify the problem and recover from the hit. Even if you’ve been penalty-free thus far, the threat of getting penalized is a source of worry. But how can you avoid it, when it seems like unnatural links lurk around every corner?
In today’s Whiteboard Friday, we’re overjoyed to have Google penalty and unnatural link expert Marie Haynes share how to earn links that do comply with Google’s guidelines, that will keep your site out of trouble, and that can make a real impact.
Click on the whiteboard image above to open a high-resolution version in a new tab!
Video Transcription
Hey everybody. My name’s Marie Haynes, and today we’re going to talk all about links. If you know anything about me, you know that I’ve done a lot of work with unnatural links. I’ve done a lot of work helping people with Penguin problems and unnatural link penalties. But today we’re going to talk about natural links. I’m going to give you some tips about the types of links that you can get that comply with Google’s guidelines. These links are sometimes much harder to get than unnatural links, but they’re the type of link that Google expects to see and they’re the type of link that can really help improve your rankings.
I. Ask
Number one is to ask people. Now some people might say, “Wait, that’s not a natural link because I actually had to ask somebody to get it.” But if somebody is willing to vouch for your website, to link to your website, and you’re not giving them anything as an incentive in return, then that actually is a good link. So you can ask family members and friends and even better is employees. You can say, “Hey, if you have a blog, could you mention that you work for us and link to us?” Now, if they have to hide the link somewhere to make it actually happen, then that may not be the best link. But if they legitimately are happy to mention you and link to your company, then that’s a good natural link that Google will appreciate.
II. Directories
People are probably freaking out saying, “Directories are not natural links. They’re self-made links.” I’m not talking about freelinkdirectory.com and other types of spammy directories where anybody in the world could create a link. I’m talking about directories that have a barrier to entry, a directory that you would expect that your business would be listed there, and a directory perhaps that people are actually using. A good place to get listed in these directories where you expect to see businesses is Moz Local. Moz Local can really help with the types of directories that you would expect to see your site listed in.
There are sometimes also, though, niche directories that perhaps you have to do a little bit of searching for. For example, let’s say that you’re a wedding photographer. You might want to be listed in a local city directory that tells people where to find musicians for their wedding and venues for the wedding and also wedding photographers. That can be a really good link, and it’s the type of link that would bring you traffic as well, which is another indicator of a good link. A good way to find these opportunities is to search for your competitors’ phone number. You can do a search for the phone number minus their site, and that should give you a list of directories that Google actually thinks are good examples of links to your site. You can approach those directories and see if you can get a link to your site.
III. Industry connections
Most businesses have connections with suppliers, with vendors, with clients, and with partners. These are places where you would expect to see that your business is listed. If you can get listed on these types of lists, then that’s a good thing. A good way to find these is to find out what lists are your competitors on, take a look at their link profiles, and see if there’s anything there where you should be listed as well.
IV. Unclaimed brand/name mentions
This is a place where somebody has mentioned your business, mentioned your website, perhaps mentioned your name, but they haven’t linked to you. It’s perfectly okay to reach out to those people and say, “Hey, thank you for mentioning us. Could you possibly link to us as well?” A lot of the time that can result in a link. You can find these opportunities by using Moz Fresh Web Explorer. Also, I think every business should have set up Google Alerts to tell you when somebody has mentioned your business.
However, even with these set up, sometimes some things get missed, and so I recommend every month that you go and you do a search for your brand name and subtract out your website. You might want to also subtract out sites like YouTube or Facebook if you have a lot of those listings as well. Then, set the date back for one month and see what new mentions have happened in that last month. You may be able to reach out to some of those businesses to get links.
V. Reclaim broken links
A way that you can find broken links to your website is to go to Google Search Console and look at the crawl errors. What I’m talking about here is a place where somebody has linked to your website but perhaps they’ve misspelled the URL. What you can do, there are two ways that you can reclaim these. One is to reach out to the site and say, “Hey, thanks for linking to us. Could you maybe fix the typo?” Number two is to create a redirect that goes from the misspelled URL to the properly spelled URL. When you do this, you lose a tiny little bit of link equity through the redirect, but still it’s much better than having a link that goes to a broken page, because a link that goes to a 404 page is one that doesn’t count for PageRank matters.
VI. Be awesome
Journalists are always looking for stuff to write about. If you can do something with your business that is newsworthy, then that’s fantastic. Something you can do is create an event or perhaps do something for charity, and journalists love to write about that kind of thing.
A good way to find opportunities to do things like this is to do a Google search for local and your profession. Let’s say you were a hair salon. You could do a Google search for local hair salon and then click on news. You’ll see all sorts of news stories that journalists have written about. Perhaps a local hair salon has offered free haircuts for veterans. That gives you an idea of something that you can do as well. That also gives you a list of the journalists that are writing these types of stories. You can reach out to those journalists and say, “Hey, our business is doing this awesome thing. Would you consider writing a story about us?” Generally, that would include a link back to your website.
VII. Get press? Get more!
If you’re getting press, do things to get more of that press. I have a story about a client who had a product who went viral. What he ended up doing was contacting all of those people who had linked to him and offering himself as a source for an interview. We also contacted people who mentioned the product but didn’t link to him and said, “Hey, could you possibly link to us? We’d be happy to do an interview. We’d be happy to provide a new angle to the story.” So if you’re doing something that is going viral, that is getting a lot of press, often that means that people are super interested in this aspect of your business, and you can usually, with a little bit of work, get more links out of that process.
VIII. HARO
…Which stands for Help A Reporter Out. HARO is an email list that connects journalists with businesses, with professionals as well. These journalists are looking for a source. For example, if you’re a dentist, there might be a journalist who’s doing a story about teeth whitening. That journalist might want to use you as a source and then link to you. A tip that I can offer is, if you’re using Gmail, is to set up filters in Gmail so that you only see the HARO requests that contain your keyword or your business. Otherwise, you can get up to three of these emails a day, and it can be a little bit overwhelming and fill up your inbox.
IX. What content is already getting links?
A good way to do this is to go to Google Search Console, Links to your site, Most linked content, and click on More. This is going to give you a list of the URLs on your site and the number of domains that are linking to those URLs. If you download the list, you’ll also be able to see the exact URLs where the links are coming from. If you have content on your site that actually is already attracting links, then this is the type of content that you want to promote to other people to get more links. You can also contact the people who did link to you and say, “Thank you so much for linking to me. Is there something else that we could produce that would be useful for your customers, for your readers?” Often that can give you good ideas for creating new content, and the links are right there if those people are willing to give you ideas to write about.
X. 10X Content
This is creating content that’s 10 times better than anything that’s out there on the web. This doesn’t have to be expensive. It can just be a matter of answering the questions that people have about your product or your business. One thing that I like to do is go to Yahoo Answers and search for my product, for my profession, and see what kind of questions people are asking about this profession or product, because if people are asking the question on Yahoo Answers, it often means that the answer is not easily available on a Google search. You can create content that’s the best of its kind, that answers any questions that people might have, and you can reach out and ask for links. If this is really, truly 10X content, it is the type of content that should attract links naturally as well.
So these are 10 ways that you can get links that will comply with Google’s guidelines and really should make a difference in your rankings. These are going to be harder than just going to a free link directory or using some spammy techniques to make links, but if you can do this type of thing, it’s the type of thing that really moves the needle. You don’t need to be worried about the Web Spam Team. You can be proud of the types of links that you’re getting. Thanks for watching. I’d be interested in seeing what types of links you have gotten by creating great things, by doing things that Google would expect businesses to do. Leave a comment below, and I’m sure we’ll have a great discussion about how to get links that comply with Google’s guidelines.

BestFriend!Chishiya
Minors, do not read! Contains mentions of smutty behavior!
MASTERLIST (up-to-date)
This is Part 4 !!Here!! is Part 1 !!Here!! is Part 2 !!Here!! is Part 3
BestFriend!Chishiya activates his camera, searching for the perfect angle to snap a photo, but gets interrupted by a call. It’s your picture popping up on his screen, taking over the whole chat history and BestFriend!Chishiya marveled your balls when he realized it was a video call. You had some serious guts right now. He swiped to the right taking the call and your face, surrounded by dim light popped up on his screen, enlightening his slightly sweaty one. You instantly bite you lip at the sight.
“Hello stranger” BestFriend!Chishiya muses and you giggle on the other line, throwing your head all giddy back, but answering with the same sentence “How you doing?”
You scoffed and BestFriend!Chishiya couldn’t help then to smile amused. You demand, with an evident pink flush on your face, that he shows you the promised proof, but BestFriend!Chishiya only cocks an eyebrow, head tilting “What happened to the show me yours and I show you mine?” another scoff followed your first one and you reminded BestFriend!Chishiya how he already saw everything of you, even touched you, when he claimed so did you “Only one part” you defend yourself and your claim, feeling bold thru the whole situation. It wasn’t true tho. The blond had stripped down like he stripped you that day, it was just that unlike him, you hadn’t had the strength to look anywhere else, but that didn’t matter. Not anymore.
You know now that he wanted you just as much as you him, so it was okay to proceed that way, right? To make demands. After all, so did he “And that makes me your camboy now or what?” you laugh, finding the thought so funny you had to muffle the sound, so you wouldn’t wake up your parents. Thin walls and the lewd situation. The last thing you wanted was to stop right now, even less getting caught with your hands in your pants. It was the last thing BestFriend!Chishiya wished to happen too. Now that everything was out now, he had to think less of how to proceed and just allow the situation to follow its natural path. What hopefully led to you. In his bed. With him. And more? Who knows.
BestFriend!Chishiya smiled at your reaction. There was a warm feeling inside of him, knowing that you felt the same want he did. That it was okay. Thought he missed to be in full possession of the moment. Having everything in his hands and controlling every move of you, the knowledge that your eyes would remain on him, no matter if he had to turn his attention away for a second, was enough to accept the new outcome “Yeah be my camboy and show me some skin!” you chimed excited. At least you hoped it came over as so. You feel nervous. Your hands, holding your phone with both hands, sweat a lot and just like this whole situation was new for you, you could only hope that nothing you said was too off putting or wrong, but rather turned him on. Like it did with you.
BestFriend!Chishiya saw right thru it and praised you with an uplifting smile and a small nod, sinking further into his pillows “And how do you plan on paying me?” but he doesn’t wait for an answer. Not interested in one at all. Instead BestFriend!Chishiya switched his camera from the front one, to the back, giving you a sudden view of his still hard but less leaking cock. After all, with the whole conversation butting right into the moment, you basically blue balled him and he still hadn’t found release.
BestFriend!Chishiya watches how your smile changed to a mesmerized but shocked one. Your breathing went audibly up and the bit of your chest your phone catched let BestFriend!Chishiya know how excited he made you feel, so his right hand went down, stroking himself, like he did before. Boxers pulled all the way down, hanging loosely and uninterested around one ankle and since BestFriend!Chishiya always slept shirtless, his abdomen was also evidently clenching to the rhythm of every stroke.
BestFriend!Chishiya let you know, thru groans how good it made him feel, to know you watched him in such a vulnerable moment. With every other person, he wouldn’t have gone even that close. Exposing himself and his kinks was a complete no go, but you are his best friend. You have seen and accepted parts of him, no one has ever catched a glimpse of, so BestFriend!Chishiya felt confident to share this side of him with you and experience with you how it felt to know what the other was doing.
Until now, all BestFriend!Chishiya has ever beaten his meat to, was your sleeping figure at night. Unbeknownst to you, he had laid there, right next to you, his head to his left, watching your relaxed expression, while his fingers caressed himself up and down until he couldn’t hold himself any further. Was it wrong or right to do so? To use you as his jerk off temple while you had no idea it even happened? Probably not. But it wasn’t like BestFriend!Chishiya cared back then. Now he did.
“Let’s skip school tomorrow” he mumbles, hand moving faster “Come-come over. I want to cum on you so bad.”
As much as you wanted this, you shook your head to sign no and BestFriend!Chishiya hissed displeased “I am already behind and…god that’s so hot, tell me how you feel. Please”
BestFriend!Chishiya set up on his knees, his hand moving faster, precum running down the tip of his cock and dripped on the clean sheet, staining them forever “I feel…I feel like I’m gonna cum…soon. Want to come with me?”
“Don’t know how” is all you confess, moaning. You hand clutching at your mouth to keep any other unwanted sounds inside. Of course, BestFriend!Chishiya thinks laughing dryly, you are so naïve, so unknown to this topic. Writing with him gave you the confidence you didn’t have in reality and now, all you could do was sit right there, with a puddle between your legs, unknown how to handle it “You…You put your fingers into your panties and rub the hell out of you. And don’t you dare stop even if it feels weird. That’s how…how you are supposed…oh fuck, just the thought makes me want to cum right here. Come on, move your fingers, I don’t have much longer.”
You did as BestFriend!Chishiya told you, finger slipping past the waistband and if your mind wasn’t focused on his hand stroking the life out of himself, you probably would have proceeded with caution. But you had no time. Wanting to come with him, your fingers moved up and down your folds until you realized your clit was the sensitives’ one. Then your fingers made quick work to rub like BestFriend!Chishiya has told you and immediately your hips bucked upwards, leaving the secure space of your mattress and clenching around your hand. But you proceeded on, not wasting any time that could keep you away from your goal “Got it?” a hum followed as an answer to BestFriend!Chishiya question and both of you could feel your peak rising fast.
Your body, overwhelmed by the new feeling didn’t knew how to respond in any other way than in its most natural one, making you whine and moan into the phone like a bitch in heat. If only you could hear yourself, BestFriend!Chishiya thought. So submissive. Following every one of his demands. It would make you blush. But right now, the last thing you could care was how you looked, with your nerves on fire, electricity running thru them and enlightening everything like light bulbs. You panted his name. Again and again, like a mantra, tho you didn’t know what you were pleading him for. Release? He couldn’t give it to you. He wasn’t even there. You were alone. Then again, you have never felt so overwhelmed with someone’s presence.
BestFriend!Chishiya camera was focused on his erection, yours however on your face and so, BestFriend!Chishiya had the honor of witnessing every pressed together eyelids, how your eyebrows furrowed when you did so, and all the moans escaping your O shaped mouth. The way your breath hitched so close to your release. About to explode for the first time and he could see it. Had a front seat. No one was closer to you then him.
BestFriend!Chishiya cursed hard, as the electronic device slipped out of your hand and fell on your torso, painting his screen immediately black. You moaned unnerved, while rolling on your stomach. You phone fell of you and landed on your pillow, thankfully with its front upwards and so you let your head fall down between your shoulder blades, grabbing the headboard with your free hand to keep you upwards, all while your other went back to its work. Your knees pressed hard into the thin mattress of your bed, provoking the screeching sound of its slatted frame, as you rocked your hips back and forth into your palm.
“Shiya…Chish…oh god…I feel…I don’t know…I think something is wrong” you called out for his advice and BestFriend!Chishiya chuckled, closing his eyes at how drowning you sounded, lost in your high, but too afraid to take the last step and asking him, HIM for help. He had a hard time keeping his own phone in hand and not losing his grip on it. His mind, filled with you, begged him to let go just like his body, but BestFriend!Chishiya couldn’t. He had come so far, there was no way he would let you alone so close to both of your goals “It’s okay…” he mumbled, voice strangled “Let go. Its gonna feel good, I promise.”
And you did. Taking BestFriend!Chishiyas word and deeming them as the only true way, you felt your belly tightening. Insides clenching around nothing but yearning, you still let go and a thousand light bulbs exploded, or more, spending you completely, yanking you forwards. Literally, because you hit your head on the very same headboard your hand was holding on to. Thankfully, it happened after you rode out your very first and mind-numbing orgasm, so you didn’t destroy it stupidly.
Feeling wobbly and unsteady, you let your knees slide to the side, left and right, sitting down on the uncomfortable wet part of your panties. If you could think straight, you would worry of staining your sheets with your juice, but your brain wasn’t able to comprehend more than its existence and your eyes were still fixed on the smartphones screen, laying carefully on your comfy pillow and giving you the view of your live. Apparently BestFriend!Chishiya has given up his position and instead went back to a lying one, because all you could see now, was his softening erection fallen on his abdomen, with a mess of his own release framing it like a bouquet of flowers. His dick was the stem in this reference. A beautiful stem, that presented itself so promising, you licked your lips at the small slit on the tip, twitching and spurting the last drops of cum on his flexing lower body. Truly sinful the sight.
You gave up. Body falling heavily to the side and crashing on the remains of your wrinkled blanket, your hand reached weakly for your phone, but jerked back. It was the hand you pleased yourself with. Still covered in your own release, you looked at it with an eww sound before wiping it off on your pajama shirt, that you immediately took off, together with your pants and tried to clean your arousal off of you, before throwing it to the side. You heard BestFriend!Chishiya heavy breathing coming from the other line. The panting sound was both sweet and hot and made you reach out for your phone again, only to realize your overworked hand wasn’t able to pick its weight.
“You still there little one?” BestFriend!Chishiyas voice came curious from the other line and you turned to your side, propping your phone up to your best to face him and there he was, his own features this time taking up the whole screen instead of his sex “Hello stranger” you greeted him.
BestFriend!Chishiya laughed, the dimples around his mouth rarely visible, now only made him more handsome then ever “Right back at you” His eyes glistened, competing with the sweat on his skin. Damp blond hair sticking at some parts, others messed up striking into every direction “Feels good hm?” You squirmed, giving off a displeased sound “I wish I never left your home.”
BestFriend!Chishiya nodded “Me too. But then again, who knows how things would have turned out” that one you had to give him. Things turned out fine. Actually, they turned out very good. And nice. Damn nice. A smile formed on your face, and you bit your lip, teeth grazing over its sensitively thin skin at the memory of him pleasing himself and its result “May I…see it again?” you asked, suddenly shyly, earning yourself a snicker from the other person. Now, after everything, you suddenly felt like acting shy? That was so misplaced, but BestFriend!Chishiya couldn’t help but like that side even more after seeing your orgasm playing out on the same face and for him to witness.
“Sure. If you let me see yours first” of course BestFriend!Chishiya would say that. Since he asked for you to undress, tempting you to this outcome, you could only imagine how many times he thought of that sight, and you wanted to give it to him. Wanted it so much, but your hands just didn’t move, too embarrassed to let him see this part of yours. Instead, you gave him an apologetic half smile and mumbled a half whispered sorry, explaining yourself, in hope he would understand that it wasn’t a no, instead more of a not yet.
“It’s okay” BestFriend!Chishiya assured you, appeasing your strained nerves. After seeing that exposed side of him, you felt like a poser for not showing him what he asked for “We will get to that sooner or later. Everything needs it time” BestFriend!Chishiya was glad he got you hooked like that after his true motives have been found out. Things could have turned sour if you didn’t trust him as much as you did. Something he definitely wasn’t relying on enough, judging his actions of not communicating his needs, but instead manipulating you to his own liking.
You nodded agreeing, trusting that BestFriend!Chishiya knew what he was doing when it came to this part “You are not skipping school tomorrow, am I right?” now you shook your head, earning yourself a disappointed sigh. How was it that he, who was so much smarter than you, was less into learning for your future then you? “Then after?”
You agreed, assuming there wasn’t going to be much tutoring this time, just like today “Mind leaving the call on until you fall asleep. I will hang up when you do” his request confused you and per se, you had nothing against it, but you had to admit to him that you took your clothes off, since they got dirty due to your activities, collecting an amused raised eyebrow and a smirk from BestFriend!Chishiya side of the phone. You told him, that you were afraid you could turn funny in your sleep and flash him unintentionally.
“Nothing I haven’t seen before” BestFriend!Chishiya stated and while it was true, you still felt uncomfortable doing so. The blond sighed again frustrated but accepted your answer. Pushing you wouldn’t lead to any other outcome, than you feeling even more uncomfortable, probably self-sabotaging future good times
“Fine, but let’s have a sleepover tomorrow. Bring some clothes for the next days. You are going to stay a few” you asked him sheepishly if it’s to practice certain things and BestFriend!Chishiya didn’t deny it, but said first the two of you had to go thru other stuff. You looked at him, expecting, since he sounded so serious. Was it something regarding your virginity? Or was he going to have the safety talk with you, making sure the two of you are on the same page? “First, we have to find out who that axelot is, that conquered your pants. I need to know my rivals” you suddenly felt a jolt of power, reaching for the phone and ending the call.
BestFriend!Chishiya laughed loudly to himself.

Even if you've been penalty-free thus far, the threat of getting penalized is a source of worry. But how can you avoid it, when it seems like unnatural links lurk around every corner?
In today's Whiteboard Friday, we're overjoyed to have Google penalty and unnatural link expert Marie Haynes share how to earn links that do comply with Google's guidelines, that will keep your site out of trouble, and that can make a real impact.

Hey everybody. My name's Marie Haynes, and today we're going to talk all about links. If you know anything about me, you know that I've done a lot of work with unnatural links. I've done a lot of work helping people with Penguin problems and unnatural link penalties. But today we're going to talk about natural links. I'm going to give you some tips about the types of links that you can get that comply with Google's guidelines. These links are sometimes much harder to get than unnatural links, but they're the type of link that Google expects to see and they're the type of link that can really help improve your rankings.
I. Ask
Number one is to ask people. Now some people might say, "Wait, that's not a natural link because I actually had to ask somebody to get it." But if somebody is willing to vouch for your website, to link to your website, and you're not giving them anything as an incentive in return, then that actually is a good link. So you can ask family members and friends and even better is employees. You can say, "Hey, if you have a blog, could you mention that you work for us and link to us?" Now, if they have to hide the link somewhere to make it actually happen, then that may not be the best link. But if they legitimately are happy to mention you and link to your company, then that's a good natural link that Google will appreciate.
II. Directories
People are probably freaking out saying, "Directories are not natural links. They're self-made links." I'm not talking about freelinkdirectory.com and other types of spammy directories where anybody in the world could create a link. I'm talking about directories that have a barrier to entry, a directory that you would expect that your business would be listed there, and a directory perhaps that people are actually using. A good place to get listed in these directories where you expect to see businesses is Moz Local. Moz Local can really help with the types of directories that you would expect to see your site listed in.
There are sometimes also, though, niche directories that perhaps you have to do a little bit of searching for. For example, let's say that you're a wedding photographer. You might want to be listed in a local city directory that tells people where to find musicians for their wedding and venues for the wedding and also wedding photographers. That can be a really good link, and it's the type of link that would bring you traffic as well, which is another indicator of a good link. A good way to find these opportunities is to search for your competitors' phone number.
If you can get listed on these types of lists, then that's a good thing. A good way to find these is to find out what lists are your competitors on, take a look at their link profiles, and see if there's anything there where you should be listed as well.
IV. Unclaimed brand/name mentions
This is a place where somebody has mentioned your business, mentioned your website, perhaps mentioned your name, but they haven't linked to you. It's perfectly okay to reach out to those people and say, "Hey, thank you for mentioning us. Could you possibly link to us as well?" A lot of the time that can result in a link.
What I'm talking about here is a place where somebody has linked to your website but perhaps they've misspelled the URL. What you can do, there are two ways that you can reclaim these. One is to reach out to the site and say, "Hey, thanks for linking to us. Could you maybe fix the typo?" Number two is to create a redirect that goes from the misspelled URL to the properly spelled URL. When you do this, you lose a tiny little bit of link equity through the redirect, but still it's much better than having a link that goes to a broken page, because a link that goes to a 404 page is one that doesn't count for PageRank matters.
VI. Be awesome
Journalists are always looking for stuff to write about. If you can do something with your business that is newsworthy, then that's fantastic. Something you can do is create an event or perhaps do something for charity, and journalists love to write about that kind of thing.
A good way to find opportunities to do things like this is to do a Google search for local and your profession. Let's say you were a hair salon. You could do a Google search for local hair salon and then click on news. You'll see all sorts of news stories that journalists have written about. Perhaps a local hair salon has offered free haircuts for veterans. That gives you an idea of something that you can do as well. That also gives you a list of the journalists that are writing these types of stories. You can reach out to those journalists and say, "Hey, our business is doing this awesome thing. Would you consider writing a story about us?" Generally, that would include a link back to your website.
VII. Get press? Get more!
If you're getting press, do things to get more of that press. I have a story about a client who had a product who went viral. What he ended up doing was contacting all of those people who had linked to him and offering himself as a source for an interview. We also contacted people who mentioned the product but didn't link to him and said, "Hey, could you possibly link to us? We'd be happy to do an interview. We'd be happy to provide a new angle to the story." So if you're doing something that is going viral, that is getting a lot of press, often that means that people are super interested in this aspect of your business, and you can usually, with a little bit of work, get more links out of that process.
VIII. HARO
...Which stands for Help A Reporter Out. HARO is an email list that connects journalists with businesses, with professionals as well. These journalists are looking for a source. For example, if you're a dentist, there might be a journalist who's doing a story about teeth whitening. That journalist might want to use you as a source and then link to you. A tip that I can offer is, if you're using Gmail, is to set up filters in Gmail so that you only see the HARO requests that contain your keyword or your business.
If you download the list, you'll also be able to see the exact URLs where the links are coming from. If you have content on your site that actually is already attracting links, then this is the type of content that you want to promote to other people to get more links. You can also contact the people who did link to you and say, "Thank you so much for linking to me. Is there something else that we could produce that would be useful for your customers, for your readers?" Often that can give you good ideas for creating new content, and the links are right there if those people are willing to give you ideas to write about.
X. 10X Content
This is creating content that's 10 times better than anything that's out there on the web. This doesn't have to be expensive. You can create content that's the best of its kind, that answers any questions that people might have, and you can reach out and ask for links. If this is really, truly 10X content, it is the type of content that should attract links naturally as well.
So these are 10 ways that you can get links that will comply with Google's guidelines and really should make a difference in your rankings. These are going to be harder than just going to a free link directory or using some spammy techniques to make links, but if you can do this type of thing, it's the type of thing that really moves the needle. You don't need to be worried about the Web Spam Team. You can be proud of the types of links that you're getting. Thanks for watching. I'd be interested in seeing what types of links you have gotten by creating great things, by doing things that Google would expect businesses to do. Leave a comment below, and I'm sure we'll have a great discussion about how to get links that comply with Google's guidelines.
