Some more Batquinn art. This time, I wanted to draw them out of their usual costumes and into some casual or civilian clothes. Tried practicing simple dialogue and backgrounds to make the piece pop out more. I had this idea of Bruce and Harley going out together to a fancy gala or dance party.

Bruce isn't too fond of it since he always does it when he's not going on night patrols to keep up his rich boy persona but Harley insists on wanting to attend one so she can experience a real luxury party that doesn't involve her gassing or blowing up the place with her ex and other villains.

I know solicits lie, but DC hyping up the a "Most brutal confrontation between Batman and Joker" is kind of dumb because like....

Batman/Bruce has proven he is able now to kill Joker already!

Tyion Did It! With Harley's help Bruce was able to leave the Joker to die.

....

I feel the Zdarsky conflict is more about the Zur-En-Arrh stuff, but Joker feels like the wrong villain to spark it?
