Are Haribo’s Marshmallows Vegetarian?
Haribo's is one of the most iconic brands in the confectionery business. As kids, we couldn't wait to get a hold of their bouncy and squishy gummy bears. The rainbow-colored candies have been on the market for more than 90 years and is one of the leading manufacturers of gummy candy in the entire world.
Tumblr media
They’re fat, pink, sparkly and covered in sugar – you can’t deny it: Haribo sweets are A-MA-ZING! But what many don’t realise is that the whole Haribo range is vegetarian... no matter whether they come in the shape of bears, birds or potatoes. Here at Nosh Gourmet Foods we know that not everyone has the time to check out every single product on their shopping list. With this in mind, we dig deeper and go behind the scenes to make sure that you have all the information you need before you buy. And when it comes to Haribo sweets, we can help answer one very important question: are Haribo marshmallows vegetarian?
Many people are unaware that gelatin is made from animal tissue. It's a popular ingredient in many foods and beverages, including marshmallows, gummy bears and other sweets.
Haribo Marshmallows are made with gelatin, which means that they're not vegetarian or vegan friendly. If you're looking for a sweet treat that's free of animal products, you should check the ingredients before purchasing these treats. Gelatin is used to make these marshmallows chewy and bouncy, but it comes from collagen extracted from animal tissue — usually pigskins or cattle bones.
Bottom Line
If you are a vegetarian and are attracted to these Haribo marshmallows, then there's no reason for you not to enjoy them. However, if you want to avoid gelatin, be sure to select the ones that say "suitable for vegetarians" on the packaging.  Bite into the world with NOSH! You can also find many alternatives to the Haribo marshmallows. We provide an unbroken supply of snacks, confections and more. From the best global brands, to native flavours you won't find anywhere else, we offer a variety of international snacks you can enjoy at home or on-the-go.

#Haribo #HariboBerryCloudsGummies #GummyCandyWithMarshmallowBacks #Gummies
I tried these Haribo Berry Clouds Gummy with Marshmallow Back Gummies and these were really good. These were soft and had a light tasting fruit flavor that didn't have a after taste. The artificial fruit flavor tasted real to me. I also love the marshmallow backs to them. Like the Haribo green gummy frogs. I would eat these again.
Got from Dollar Tree but you can get them for a $1 at Walmart.

Mad Spring - sour gummies, you feral little goblin. Tangfastics. Airheads. Sour Patch Kids. Like High Summer, you choose fruit-flavored gummy sweets, but you pick ones coated in Pain Sugar. It isn’t enough to just get sugar: you’re chasing a different Sensory Experience (TM) than the rest. And that’s great.
Warm Spring - white chocolate, ruby chocolate, pastel mint drops, cotton candy, bubblegum. Marshmallows. Sweet, creamy, usually pastel. You have no particular objection to floral tastes like lavender and rose. You may be able to appreciate Turkish Delight.
Midsummer - tropical fruits: chewy and slightly creamy in pastel colors. Starburst/Opal Fruit, Creamsicles/Solero. Maoam strips. Cream sodas. Skittles, despite being jewel-toned, are in this season. Coconut and pineapple flavors go here. Also the home of chalky-type sweets like Love Hearts/candy hearts, smarties (usa) and You may be also able to appreciate Turkish Delight.
High Summer - Gummy bears and chewy, jellyish, jammy, gummy, springy in bright jewel tones. Gummy worms and jelly snakes, jelly babies, jelly beans, Haribo. Clearer and gummier than Midsummer.
Autumn Night - darker and more complex sweetness, often including an element of burning or alcohol, or another challenge. Cherry cordials, marzipan, champagne truffles. Also home of burnt-sugar tastes: maple candy, bonfire toffee, candy corn. Also home of matcha; red liquorice; red bean paste. When people bring you sweets from other countries, they’ll choose unusual local delicacies. You almost certainly were fascinated as a kid by lollipops at the science museum sold with real bugs in them.
Autumn Salt - peanut butter and peanut brittle, salted caramel, toffee, butterscotch. Toffee popcorn, Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, Snickers, Daim. If nobody has any nuts, you’ll choose chocolate with nuts, crisp or crunch over other things. Sweet just isn’t enough.
Winter Spice - herbal, spicy and medicinal sweets, usually hard old-fashioned sweets. Red-hots, burning cinnamon, chilli - eucalyptus, root beer, menthol; sarsaparilla. Hard candy, generally: old fashioned ‘boiled sweets,’ things that look gorgeous in glass jars. Parma violets. Fisherman’s Friends. You’re the only person who would eat a gingerbread house after decorating it. You’re also possibly a ghost, or used to be a Mad Spring. It’s also about the SENSATION.
Midwinter - dark black Licorice. Salty? Sweet? saltlakrids? Allsorts? Australian? You might like other things too, but when your loved ones are in another country, they go to the licorice aisle and get you the weirdest local variant they can find.
Long Winter - true chocolate, basic chocolate stuff: M&Ms. Dairy Milk. Hershey’s Kiss. But also home of fudgy tastes and sugar-on-sugar in a long slow sauce. Marshmallow, Handmade fudge, Phish Food ice cream.
Cool Winter - naturally, the homebase of minty tastes. peppermint wheels, York’s Peppermint Patties, After Eights. Also orange - chocolate orange - and, oddly, pixie sticks/sherbet and other sweet things that involve eating simple flavored sugar.

random but i got a haribo gummy roulette from the market n i think gojo’s the type to pour way too much attention into making sure theres no two of the same colors next to each other in a pack of sweet tarts or whatever hes getting cus it ‘has to be worth his money’ and he digs to the very back of the candy shelf to get the bag he thinks has the most even though they’re all factory packed. he’ll also hoard the flavors he likes and give u all the ones he doesn’t want like ur a candy trashcan
…so if you notice you’re only being fed orange gummy bears, u know why ;; of course he’ll act innocent if you ask, so if you want a taste of what ur missing out on, just give him a kiss ! n figure out which flavor he had last :p
Tumblr media
what do u guys think his fav type of candy is… i see him w those hello kitty marshmallows w strawberry jelly in the center

2003 mikey having an iron stomach reminds me of my brother
like, one time, my brother and i got cinnamon rolls. we were in a parking lot which, since we live really close to the sea, was crowded with seagulls. one seagull swooped up and stole my brother’s cinnamon roll, but it dropped it. my brother proceeded to pick up the cinnamon roll and ate it. i thought he was going to get some rabid bird disease or something but he was completely fine.
he’s also drank week old milk without facing any consequences. i’m surprised he’s alive after all these years
though i guess i can’t really comment on his eating habits as i am constantly snacking on something and have purposefully eaten marshmallows covered in ketchup and haribos i dropped in pizza dipping sauce and liked it.
Honestly your brother sounds like me. I ate things off the ground as a kid and I would eat that cinnamon roll 100%. Oddly, I actually have a really great immune system (I very rarely get sick) so who knows, maybe eating stuff off the floor and rabid animals has it’s perks.
As for the insane food combos…no, not really. The worst I’ve had is ready salted crisps (chips to all you American freaks /jk) and chocolate but that’s actually really nice because science.
I don’t know whether it’s a strange food combination but I also love cheese and raspberry jam. It’s a thing I had as a kid (along with jelly (jello, Americans) with mint ice cream which was also a childhood staple. But never, ever had anything as insane as Mikey or any of the horrors you just described lol

do you collect anything?
this might be a little odd but i collect marshmallows. i laid some of them out (only my favourites due to size of my armchair constraints) to show you, although i have a decent amount more
Tumblr media
i’m on the hunt currently for a brand of enormous ones (originating in the netherlands, my research indicates) that are the size of my whole palm, as demonstrated by fig 2.0
Tumblr media
it is not a very high bar, of course, to be as large as my palm, but these ones are vanilla flavoured and have a sort of tougher-than-usual consistency that makes biting into them an almost cannibalistic experience. i crave them like air, like water.
sadly the timestamp on fig 2.0 indicates that the last time i had these in my possession was january of this year.
i say i “collect” these marshmallows, but in a sort of mercenary way, since i don’t do it merely to have them (they are perishable) but also because they’re delicious. my favourites (aside from Big Boy Vanilla) are probably the ones that Haribo makes (they make a large variety) because they tend to be dusted lightly (or liberally) in a sugar coating.
