> my boy bringing me a cupcake w a candle in and singing me happy birthday on my birthday and making me feel very loved even tho it was only the two of us to celebrate it

> cooking the first dinner in our new house with my housemates last night - very chaotic because the only one of us that’s moved in so far has basically no kitchen stuff and the hob wasn’t working but we still made some incredible loaded nachos

> doing fieldwork for my diss in the snow ! felt so like a real biologist & the goats were very funny and i had tomato soup and a cheese toastie after

> all of the many times i have lain in my boyfriend’s arms after a bad day and felt so so loved and understood and cared for

Hmm there haven't been many happy memories this year, but there were a few. One was getting a fun job as a bartender at my favorite concert venue in September! One was all the concerts I went to this year and the first I attended on my own, but some people adopted me and I spent the evening with them! One was having my first kiss with a cool androgynous singer of an Italian band in June, it really boosted my self esteem after a nasty breakup this March (which only calmed down a little bit two months ago)! Oh and the result of the breakup was a happy moment too because once I got past the initial depression and anger, I felt like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders, so there's that too! I'm free! I could see that he wasn't good for me in so many ways and we're both better off without each other

I'm a big Christmas enthusiast so I'll definitely celebrate that lol, I hope you have a wonderful last month of the year too! 💕
