There's many other things but TLDR yes Sylus is not a 'green flag' and does questionable or cruel things in main story - but he IS a nuanced character. Sorting characters into strict red/green flag categories often robs them of nuance and thats how mischaracterisation happens. Basically just get to know Sylus before comparing him to a predator
