Hello, everybody, it is time for our final announcement! 📣📣📣

This zine has now, officially, come to an end! We have made our donation to our chosen charity, Action Against Hunger, with an incredible total of over 2K US dollars!

We would like to thank all of you who joined us, as guest or supporter, during this lovely meal! We couldn't have done it without you ❤️

My attempt on FeedingHannibal’s (Janice Poon’s Twitter) protein scramble (the first dish Hannibal made for Will)! It came out delicious and I’m so happy with it! A nice first breakfast of 2023! ❤️🥐🍳🍖

My plating isn’t as pretty as Janice’s, so I have much to aspire to. 😚 I also couldn’t find honey garlic sausage so I used brown sugar sausage, poached it, brushed w/ honey & crushed garlic, then browned it. I think I over did the honey a little so will pull back next time. 🍯

i brought two cookbooks with me for reference

they have equal and opposing energies:

for some context, the book on the left is the first cookbook i ever bought, age 12, scholastic book fair. it's sunbleached, stained, and i'm fairly sure i've bled on it at least once

the book on the right is self explanatory

remembering when i cooked the beef bourguignonne recipe from the hannibal cook book and got incredibly drunk on red wine and danced to kmfdm all alone in my loungeroom (blood event)

Also, just because I have nowhere else to bitch about this:

I got veal lungs to try to make the "lung and loin in wine sauce" recipe from the Hannibal cook book and it was such a huge pain in the ass to try to butcher.

The book: cut into 1" cubes, make sure to cut out the tubes 🥰

Me, hours later, wanting to die and only half way done: THERE ARE TOO MANY GOD DAMN TUBES *disintegrates*

i got a huge massive pack of those cheap sheet masks from amazon and a silicone sheet mask holder that like. loops behind ur ears so u can actually do stuff while ur mask is doing it's thing and it looks so terrifying but girl my face is so soft like a baby or some such thing
