Luke's sacrifice in the end of THT s5 is beautiful and noble and also unneeded. June got away with murdering Fred cuz it wasn't on Canadian land but Luke has to surrender himself to the authorities cuz they would what arrest him in Hawaii or wherever they were going bc of a man he killed in Canada? He could've escaped with June and Nicole and no one would know but they needed to make a cliffhanger with June and Serena and they knew Luke would've been a third wheel. I still think it's cool but also unnecessary.

All season I've been wanting Serena to lose her baby, by miscarriage or being taken away from her after it's born. But now that I finally saw it happen, I hated it and I cried. That bitch deserves it after all the shit she put June through, after what she put America through. So why do I feel so fuckin bad for her now?

Janine was the best thing about the last season, tbh. The cries I cried. It was SO emotionally draining, it took me several years to finish it, but I'm glad that I did. Elisabeth Moss is such a strong actress in this, Invisible Man, the Shining Girls. I think she's greatly underestimated and deserves more accolades. And Max, thanks for the eye candy since your Leigh Lezark emo bf days

Yeah. Ugh. I can rationalize season 5, but that’s just so I can sleep at night. In the end, it felt like a filler season gone wrong + bizarro world versions of Nick and June… 😭
