Japanese Hannya Style Majora's Mask made by DaelysArt

It's been 5 years of intrusive thoughts about crafting this painting and now it lives in my apartment rent free.

Put together the frame for the coat rack. Used some cherry and some very simple hand cut dovetails. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

The finish is still drying but it's complete.

Elegant Wooden Pronoun Pin - $6.50 on Etsy with current sale. Each are about 2.5" x 1.5". Made out of birch and walnut! I also do custom pronouns on request! I wanted some nice elegant solutions for a pronoun pin, for a more subtle look and something you could wear for a dressier occasion.

Wooden kazipok, the Levian small creature!

My first wooden sculpture. I'm so proud of it! It was easier than expected, but needed a lot of time and work (something about a week, and the legs needed the most time). I really enjoyed the carving though, and I really, really didn't expected such a nice first result.

The carving needs your attention, but not too much. Such things as drawing, sculpting take all my attention: I can't think about anything but the process itself, so I get tired quickly even if truly enjoy. While carving I can think about anything else, but the work doesn't let thoughts to run too far.

But! The kazipok got his cutest look thanks to @villiedoom ! (Also he did photos of the final sculpture in the post). I felt so happy when took the painted sculpture in my hands.

Wooden toy Twp

Recently I am creating wooden toys, I have been a little shy regarding showing them here because I was not sure if they would garner interest.. I have more complex and bigger toys than Twp both complete and in the making but I'm showing Twp because I know some people like my sona and I finished it today and did photoshoot!

If you like this kind of thing please do let me know! Very encouraging! I never see people posting wood toys so I'm not very sure

Walnut

There has also been a new woodworking project going on, in addition to the Elderly Wardrobe Reno. My husband found, among the almost boundless piles of lumber stored at my late father's farm, a bunch of large, thick pieces of black walnut. He started a table last fall, had trouble, and set it aside until recently.

Design-wise it is minimalist, but in person the thickness of the wood is the most striking thing. It is heavy.

No stain, here, that's just the natural wood color with a layer of tung oil. He'll complete it with a layer of polyurethane.

Quick whittling project. Why pay for a replica batarang when I could make one. Knife I believe is from beavercraft .next maybe Nightwing's birdarang? Or perhaps I have too many simultaneous projects.
