I miss this Smart,Strong and Beautiful Lady:Handler Sylvia Sherwood.It's my first time I see ,in manga,a lady as commanding officer of an intelligence agency,and simultaneusly within a foreign land.And it's challenging how She'll effectively manage all her field agents,her informants.

How She executes it:

"The last time we see her is in chapter 87.Where is she all these days ?".Below;She's disguised as nurse:) He he,cute.

I guess She's interrogating Wheeler.She's forcing Him to spill out Why,How and For How long he was sabotaging WISE.He was the Biggest Threat ever for WISE,so it's to the "Fullmetal Lady" how she'll compell him talk.

Just let's remember how Wheeler didn’t stand a chance against Fiona "Nightfall":

Being completely honest, considering Twilight's lifestyle, his sleeping hours, being a smoker, constantly passing out, having stomach aches and being overworked and constantly stressed, on a scale of 1 to 10, how many health problems would Twilight have if Sylvia forced him to go for a medical checkup, even if at first glance he looks like a healthy, fit young man?

The devil works hard, but Twilight's body trying to keep him standing works harder

ahem of course she would force him because he's their best agent and best asset, definitely not because she cares about him and he's her little brother

Spy X Family swings from 'war makes monsters of us all' to 'is too perfect a relationship suspicious?' to 'Governments will always only serve the interests of themselves and the few wealthy' to 'our dog that sees the future got romantically rejected' and somehow makes it all work.

Random thought - I can't help but wonder just how much Handler knows about what goes on with the Forgers and what she may have picked up on that Twilight may have missed

We know that she heard about Twilight collapsing after Anya got her second bolt

It's also all but confirmed that she knows about Nightfall's feelings for Twilight

I can't help but wonder if she at least has a good guess about what was really going on with Yor during the bullet in butt date, even though she likely wouldn't know the exact nature of that injury or how Yor got it. I doubt she's guessed Anya's powers just yet, but depending on how much detail she has about how Anya reacted to certain things she may be able to guess that Anya has seen more shit than the typical modern orphan has and may end up being the least surprised when and if it gets revealed that Anya is a former lab rat

I'll admit that I'll be very surprised if she doesn't already realize just how attached Twilight is to the Anya and Yor, and likely realized that well before he did

It is my personal headcanon that Handler smokes. Simply because cigarette is the lightest substance she can intake that allow her to still work while dealing with Loid and Fiona and other spies shenanigan

I was looking back through the manga for Twilight’s childhood memory chapters and stumbled across the one where Handler is training the rash young agent. Lol at this flashback on her part:

What about hoisting a grown man by the shirt and making him sweat like that counts as “soft?”

Tiger Mom Sylvia. She’s the best.

In seriousness, she really was responsible for huge changes in Twilight’s worldview and personality. She transformed a rash, angry-at-the-world, traumatized young soldier into a cold, calculating, deeply rational* spy who would do anything to prevent war and no longer blindly hates Ostanians. Or rather she forced him to develop that kind of mask so he could survive and perform as a top agent. Deep down, he retained his core compassion and soft heart despite it all.

*Except when it comes to Yor and Anya lol

This particular scene of chapter 20,where with the flawless cold,dismissive words she tores apart the resolve of the terrorists makes a serious Impression.It gives me the gist  of how  she suffered a great deal of trauma  from the war.

 "Have any of you... Ever killed anyone before? Have you ever had a limb torn off by an artillery shell? Have you ever heard the sound of bones shattering? Have you ever smelled the reek of rotting flesh?

-Have you ever found the crushed bodies of your parents and siblings in a pile of rubble that used to be your home? Have you ever discovered a blown-off piece of your lover stuck to a wall?

-Have you ever been so hungry you tried to eat tree bark? Have you ever stewed human flesh in a pot? Have you ever convinced yourself your enemy was sub-human so you could... slaughter them like animals? Have you ever been so haunted by shame and regret afterward... that you cried until you puked? Have you ever had friends who did the same, and took their own lifes?

-Did you learn NOTHING in your university?"

Btw she’s also cute and kind especially towards Anya. That's why she's got my Interest and Fondness:)

I'm happy to say that we finally got Sylvia on the cover of vol 12 of SxF.

And all about this cover look amazing,she look like she uses to look so cool,the chair is faboulous like her and that detail of that photo of her family is heartbreaking too.

Greetings to you and before anything else, Happy 5th Year anniversary to Spy × Family!

Just came to notice that today actually marks the 5th year of the release of Spy × Family. Coincidentally, I finished this work today and I suppose I shall make good use of this coincidence and thus, take it as an anniversary gift for the manga itself.

This work pictures the message "Westalis × Ostania" which is fully inspired by the special illustration released previously.
