Nobody has actually figured this out, and rather than gatekeep my favorite piece of halo lore, I'll explain. @tarisilmarwen and @thefinaljediknight were both VERY close in guessing that Ezra and Sabine are dressed as Master Chief and Cortana. In fact, that answer is only one letter off.

But I'm getting ahead of myself; lemme backtrack.

The year is 2004. There's still a lot of secrecy surrounding this upcoming video game Halo 2, and a promotional poster of Master Chief has just been released. Developer Frank O'Connor wanted to include this poster in his first weekly update email, but he was unable to. So, instead, he drew his own picture of Master Chief. However, guns are "hard to draw," and he didn't quite look right without eyes or a mouth, so the picture he included ended up looking like this:

He labelled his creation "Mister Chief," and Mister Chief recieved such an overwhelmingly positive response from the fans that he began including a new drawing of Mister Chief in every weekly email after that.

So, yes, those of you who recognized Sabine's Cortana costume was correct! However, the "Ezra Is Master Chief" allegations were off by one letter: Ezra is dressed as Mister Chief.

Those are the official, active series... And then there's the plethora of other stories I have stacked up around me...

I have three loosely outlined fantasy world books. One is somehow a murder mystery comedy, the other is just drama drama drama, and the third is intensely fantasy world building.

There's a series of greek god books (because what writer doesn't? i just really want to kill Zeus...) the first of which is partially written and about a primordial ocean goddess shacking up with a demigod on adventure. It's violent and brutal and sooooo romantic and I can't wait.

As you may know, I recently starting outlining a western romance because I was reading one and got frustrated.

Then there are the audio scripts... I've got about four of them in the works right now including the finale to the Adventures of Stardust and Cosmic.

And I have... counting... four? fanfic AUs going? Band AU, Coffee shop AU, College AU, Amnesia AU, Tattoo shop AU, and the Camelopardilliam fic!! Okay, that's six fics.

So... should I be adding the western romance to this roster? No, definitely not. Is it still going to be quietly outlined and stuffed into the files? Yes. Of course it is.

love the idea of the dark riders begrudgingly getting attached to Halo until they eventually start looking out for them as much as the other soul riders do without even realizing it

in the middle of an intense battle against each other or smth, Halo rides too close to a cliff and the SRs and DRs are both like “WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING” (DRs being slightly more aggressive about it) and then both sides just kinda look at each other like:

☆ SMG4's Afterlife After Show

I have my own version of the whole "all the dead smg4 characters exist in a space together and hang out" thing but they're not like. In heaven.

They're just kinda in this never ending white void liminal space type area ?? They've got a peaches castle in there so they have a place to actually live. As for why it's there?? I dunno and neither to they. It wasn't there to begin with and only just recently showed up. Smth abt that castle never being used in an smg4 vid again or at least fir a while idk I forgot my thought process behind it.

Other than that there's a gateway window type thing the group can use to check up on the living cast. Honestly since I've decided they have a castle the gateway is probably a painting. Tho an individual can also just project themselves back down to the showgrounds or wherever but that's just tiring and can't ever really last long so it's not done as often.

The gateway is how they watch the weekly (uploads) adventures and the projection is more so how they check in on one specific person. Axol does this the most, he sits with Melony while she draws or naps.

This au started initially by me having the thought of "What if in Western Spaghetti when the simulation starts tweaking out around Axol and Desti they glitch into like fucked up mangled versions of themselves cuz of how they died?" With Desti obviously having a stab wound and a halo (based off that one merch piece where she also had a halo) and Axol being ALL FUCKED UP. In fact here's a doodle of the idea for said appearance (<— This is in the context of this au so that's why he's so calm. I'll be drawing the aforementioned scene some other time tho).

But yeah that's how the idea came to be so initially everyone was gonna have somewhat fucked up forms

Axol and Desti were just covered above

Zero was similar to Axol with the exposed ribs and had a broken half of Eldritch Zer0's horns.

Niles had that missing texture pattern Axol had on the covered side of his face and the other half of Eldritch Zer0's horns n some other shit

Wren was bruised asf from being crushed and also permanently sopping wet cuz he was in that tank when he died (fucking pathetic soggy cat)

Oh and Spudnick would have been covered in cracks and Fred would have been covered in missing texture patches if i had ever got to sketching them

This is no longer the case. Mainly because I just don't like the idea anymore. Maybe I'll still use the designs of smth, maybe I won't. Who knows?

I do wanna do some stuff with this dumb little au concept thingy of mine over here tbh. Being either drawing out scene ideas I've had, shitposts I've thought up, doing an ask blog with them, or maybe making an actual comic with this idea I had where they get a chance to reunite with some of their living friends again. I dunno and it'll be a while before I actually get anything interesting out but yk. Wanted to come ramble on endlessly again abt my newest interest lol.

Spicy Emil & Florian Short Story

This is a snippet of a commission I finished and have shared on Patreon (a bit too nervous to fully post 2k words of smut on here lmfao).

The prompt was for spicy Emil/M!MC/Florian, so as a warning it is NSFW!

“He’s late.” Emil sighs, “Again.”

From your spot perching on Florian’s ridiculously large bed, you glance over at Emil, “He had a meeting with Councilor Janvier. It was bound to happen.”

“I hate that man.” The dark-haired mage rolls his eyes, unclasping his cloak and tossing it over one of the velvet chairs by the fireplace, “He talks far too much yet says so little.”

“The life of a councilor,” You grin.

“Says the advisor.” He says as he approaches you, sprawling back on the bed at your side.

His hair pools around his head like a halo, and you know the shoulder-length locks are as soft as they look. You lean back, propping yourself up on one elbow as you slowly run your fingers through his hair. You move your hand down to cup his cheek, enjoying the way he turns his face to press further into you.

He’s come so far from when you all first became an item. The Emil of old would squirm when being shown physical affection; now he leans into it wholeheartedly.

You lean down, brushing your lips over his, enjoying the small gasp it elicits from Emil as he tries to push ever closer. His hand buries itself in the hair along your nape, tugging you down. The kiss devolves into something messy and hungry, and when you finally break away the both of you have ended up panting.

Your hands are dislodged from him when he rolls over onto his stomach and carefully places his head squarely in your lap, looking up at you with a soft gaze. Running your thumb over his still-slick lips, he catches your hand and holds it there. He places soft kisses on every finger and all over your palm, and he delights in watching your pupils dilate.

The both of you are strung tight like bowstrings, waiting to be loosed.

“Wren,” Emil breathes, and for a split second, your mind is blank.

Then the door crashes open.

“Sorry, sorry!” Florian says as he bustles into the room, “I know I’m late! Janvier wouldn’t shut the hell up and-”

He freezes as he finally lays eyes on the both of you, your thumb still halfway pushing into Emil’s parted lips.
