This is a remaster / port of the original Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, called Shinkai Fuukaden in Japanese. Like Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms / Kyoto Winds, it includes six additional routes with three new characters, a new soundtrack, and an enhanced UI.

Idea Factory has released the debut trailer for Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden, its upcoming PlayStation 4 collection including Hakuoki Shinkai: Kaze no Shou (Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds) and Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou, which were released for PS Vita in Japan in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Hakuoki Shinkai: Kaze no Shou and Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou are remakes of the original Hakuoki: Shinsengumi Kitan, one featuring the game’s Kyoto storyline, while the other features the game’s Edo storyline. Idea Factory International will release the PS Vita version of Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds on May 16 in North America and May 19 in Europe. A localization for Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou has yet to be announced. Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden will launch for PlayStation 4 on July 13 in Japan.

I try to portray Chizuru as accurately as possible in my fanfic that features Kazama taking Chizuru by force after threatening to kill her lover and then tries to make her accept him as her husband but well Chizuru is still heavily traumatized.

My fanfic made some hakuouki fans pay more attention to the game scenes in which Chizuru kills Miki Saburo, protects Okita or Hijikata from Kazama, kills imperial soldeirs to protect herself and Okita in Okita's route and uses her minimal fighting skills without hesitation. Some readers were like, "we saw this behavior in the game, but we didn't pay enough attention until we read what you wrote. "

Chizuru is a very compassionate person, but she is capable of using violence when the situation asks for it even though her fighting skills are very minimal.

In my fanfic, Chizuru is not only worried about herself or a shinsengumi male protagonist, but she is also worried about the future of her future child in case Kazama made her pregnant.

The Chinese release of the Limited Edition of Hakuoki: Shinkai Fuukaden for the switch is getting a vinyl soundtrack bonus... which is interesting, I guess?
