I've got some very exciting news
Since the start of October is about a week away (I know how gross where did the year go?) and we all know that marks the start of the kinkiest month of the year, I've got some exciting news
I am doing Kinktober this year, as I think I've stated before previously. I'm not doing every day again this year since I had to make my own list and just didn't really feel inspired by some and just didn't have the energy to write others.
Then I got a brilliant idea.
This year's Kinktober will have a...bit of a theme...
Allow me to use a meme to explain
Yes, all of my kinktober fics will be centered around Kyle, our beloved Gaz, Mr. Severely Underappreciated And That's A Crime.
The fics are all kink-related. Some are just straight kinks, others may involve some uh...other things 😏
I'll be releasing a more in-depth post closer to October 1st that will also serve as the masterlist (and I will be linking it on my navigation post as its own link). I have an update schedule planned for Kinktober (and CRCB will still be ongoing during October but we will be having a conversation about that fic separately) and will be posting on my taglist blog for Kinktober fics as well since that blog is for everything that gets released on this blog. So if you would like to be notified of when Kinktober fics come out, give that blog a follow and turn on notifications. (I sound like a YouTuber)
Anyway, that's the plan. We're giving Kyle some much deserved attention and love for Kinktober. I will also have some other things going on over on my Patreon for paid-Patrons since I can't make NSFW stuff public, so if you're interested go and check that out.
But yes, so much content is coming in October for y'all and honestly I'm really excited. You'll get more detailed info in the Kinktober masterlist which will probably be dropping closer to the weekend or maybe even next Monday. We'll see. I'll also be posting some news about CRCB here soon as well, also probably closer to the end of the week.
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely day and I'll be back regularly scheduled weekly posting (asks and comment reblogs) here probably in a couple hours from when this post originally posted. If you're seeing this later then...I've probably already started 💚

So, in s5 we're going back to s1, right?
In s1 hearing Will sing in the talkie was a beacon of hope. He's alive!
What if in s5 it's the opposite? the moment doubt sets in?
Personally I ain't expecting another "fast! what's their fav song??", but it would be expected for music to be used with a positive driving force. Motivating, inspiring, waking up some good memories.
However, making the villain use the 'good guys' weapon against them?
That's new.
Everyone having a break, occupying some room, Will scribbling in a notebook half-heartedly. Then a head turns in his direction. And then another one. Already faint chats stop mid sentence, one after the other. All noise but one tune die out.
He's humming absentmindedly. A word or two every now and then.
...
"What's that song he's singing?"
"Guys..."
"Will?"
"Where did you hear that song?"
"What song?"
"The one you were just humming?"
The one that was playing on the radio.
"It- It was just playing on the radio?"
...
"...There's no radio here."
And nobody knows if it was just the connection, the memory somehow making it's way into Will's mind or Henry deliberately showing everyone that he's there. He has him.
But then?? Wouldn't it be stupid, losing his spy? Why would he do that, it couldn't have been on purpose!
After that it comes falling apart. Mistrust and doubt. Confusion and chaos.
Well, he played us the last time!
(I am of course talking about Victor's safe song, Dream a little dream of me)

I legit unironically love micolash boss "battle". Is so fucking strange, because the whole game you fight against horrible beasts that were once humans, or ascended humans who got transformed into something out of this (or that) world, or eldritch creatures.
And then, after a horrible tour through the nightmare of mensis you encounter the most regular ass guy in the game (wearing a fucking cage, of course). It is such a unique fight, the asshole runs from you like taunting you, waits for you, and when you finally corner him, he spams 2 arcane attacks, or hits you with his baby fists.
Is such a pain in the ass to get him to the second phase of the fight, only for the idiot to kill you in one shot with a call beyond if you dont know whats coming.
I think he is the only boss that speaks to you during the fight, and what he says is so strange and revealing at the same time. The guy is delirious, but knows what he is talking about. Then he starts to howl, because why not.
But what i love the most about this fight is the absolute hate people express for this fight XD. Is too damn funny to watch videos ranking worst fromsoft bosses, and hear a particular disdain for this fight. Also, i love reaction videos to this fight. It may not be an epic battle, but man the reactions and frustrations it generates are fucking gold 😩🤌💕

Today we weren't allowed out on the playground due to wet paint, and my kids were doing great but by the end of the day we were getting stir crazy and bouncing off the walls
And also separately we've been working with this one kid to try and control her temper (her tiny body fills up with So Much Rage and she will bite!!!) and I realized that we only tried to give her tools to deal with that when she was all worked up, and that isn't any sort of way to build a new skill
So we all sat on the carpet and and dimmed the lights and took like 5 minutes for toddler yoga and deep breathing and it was actually great?????? We practiced taking deep breaths and blowing them out (toddlers can't see the difference between breathing in and breathing out, they just hear it, like a lot of times if you show them how to smell a flower they will blow on the flower!!!! So emphasizing the blowing out part helps them figure out the breathing in part) and we patted our heads..... And our shoulders ... Then gave ourselves a big hug!!!! (One little boy who loves hugs was so excited about this part!!) Then I walked them through a basic sensory activity where we felt the carpet with our hands and listened with our ears to see what we could hear and then looked around for what we could see, and then we did deep breathing and stood up together for some stretching and wrapped it up
And it was so helpful??? It really helped reset the mood in the classroom, it was amazing
AND THEN, later in the day, when my tiny child was full of rage when her classmate grabbed a toy, I said 'take a deep breath!!!'
AND SHE DID
SHE STOPPED RIGHT THERE ALL FULL OF RAGE AND TOOK THE TINIEST ANGRIEST MOST ADORABLE BIG BREATH IVE EVER SEEN AND IM SO FUCKING PROUD OF HER!!!!!!!!
