HSR: Guinaifen - SU World VI Showcase

Needed to do a run of SU World VI today in order to get new planars for Aventurine (spoiler alert: I did not get anything useful — salsotto continues to hate me) and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to see if finally securing Guinaifen's e6 makes a noticeable difference in the amount of damage she can put out.

I don’t usually run Guin in a team without Ruan Mei because of the build she’s on, but since e0s1 RM serves to exponentially boost her numbers in SU, especially while doing the nihility path, I wanted to reduce the damage inflation by as much as I possibly could. Of course it would be better to test her true damage output against one of the echoes bosses, but I digress.

Anyway, here’s the (arguably bad) burn-break build she’s been rocking since I first attempted to build her quite some time ago:

The run proved to be okay. Even with all three path resonance boosts, she wasn’t able to surpass a 337K ultimate with this team. It’s absolutely time to retire this setup and try cooking up something else. I also need to change out her LC now that I have more options to choose from.

I’ll be sure to let y’all know how the relic farming/build updating goes. Then, once she’s been fixed, we’ll test her damage against the Echoes of War version of Cocolia (or whichever new fire weak boss that comes out between now and then) and see how good she can really be.
