Started at a different library today, it’s temporary while they work at my home base but the silly thing is I’ve already developed a reputation as a soft door knocker amongst my new coworkers!

Like to get into the staff room, in my position you have to knock and someone will let you in. I don’t have a key and like my other place, I guess I’m just weakly knocking at the door and it’s already caused some giggles amongst the women there.

I still don’t think I’m that bad, it feels more like a firm knock to me anyways, then again I’m not on the receiving end. Ugh!

On the bright side, I met a somewhat young coworker who I overheard say multiple times, it’s a very quiet library, that she’s seen the movie, hadn’t read the book to a patron asking about books and movies. I feel like that’s the opposite at my home bibliotheca, everybody prefers the book to the movie, one person doesn’t even watch movies anymore.

Granted, it’s been quite since I’ve seen a movie but it’s good to know I’m amongst at least one person who is more a movie person than a book person.
