Hello so I really like your art style and the way you draw the transformers. And I was wondering if I could ask how did you learn how to draw them?

And do you have any tips for beginners?

There're definitely ppl who can explain it better than me, like @bloominglegumes in this post here , but I here's a bit about how I approach it!

That's basically how I visualize it. It also helps to have reference when you're first starting out. Transformers are wacky to draw cause u need knowledge of organic and inorganic shapes and how they mesh. Personally I try not to let my guys look too stiff. I try to keep lines curved, even if they look straight on first inspection. Technically not realistic since they're made of metal, but it just looks better.

just for fun this time during 'sea of blood' I counted out all the venatori corpses I think we can be pretty sure were lucanis' handiwork before we show up (not including the ones he kills in his initial cutscene, and with an assumption that he's been at work mainly up and down in the areas we move through until we find him, not behind the locked door -- I think that's mostly the work of rampaging undead and other venatori-hoisted-by-their-own-petard suchlikes). can thus happily inform you lucanis has killed at least 32 venatori before rook and company get there. at least one of them he's impaled on their own weird crystal spike things the venatori mages cast as an AOE attack and that they're trying to keep him contained with when we find him. so he's clearly been keeping busy lol. that's my boy dispensing poetic justice and claiming some enrichment in his enclosure while he's at it good for him!

Random question, is Maurice from the U.S? Or at least what becomes the U.S? Since they're about 250-300 in the 80s that would mean they were born around 1730-1680 and therefore predate the formation of the country.

Maurice is from??????????????????????????. They were born #### with @@@@@@ and a %%%%%%%.

that is to say, Maurice was born roughly in the 1730-1680 to a family with a base and survived until now without getting tied down. Anything other than that is a mystery that they won't ever tell. Maurice isn't even the name they were born with, its just the one they told Stan. So private even i don't know much about them. They're here to be mysterious and stalkerish and thats the extent of them. It leaves room for all kinds of crazy things they could've done over the last two and a half centuries.

I will say their like the boogeyman of shapeshifter society, in that they really are the best at spying on others, specifically other shapeshifters. They have so much blackmail stored up just from stalking people as a pass time, they'd be a force to be reckoned with if they ever cared to actually use any of it. Using it means talking to people though, and interacting, and having to talk and pretend to care about others. Exhausting. They'd rather become part of the wallpaper and just people watch.

How do you play Avery? I want to play a Malkavian but i’m nervous

Omg don't be nervous!

A lot of people are worried about playing Malkavians "too kooky" or "too crazy." My best advice is to play them like a person. At the end of the day, Malkavians were once human too.

Avery acts and feels like a "normal" person 90% of the time. When she's dealing with her derangement, I act as if it's another normal encounter to her, because really, it is. Most Malkavians don't even notice their derangement/believe they even have one. I try not to view Malkavians as crazy, but rather a group of Kindred that exist in a very different reality to everyone else.

Avery's visions are treated like warnings—like Malkav is just asking her to pay attention to something. When she's "talking to herself," she's really just talking to someone else. When she's being delusional, she's really just viewing the world through a different perspective. So, to an outsider—yeah, she might be a little crazy. But, from her perspective (and the way I play her) there's a rational explanation for everything, which makes her all the more grounded.
