Raven: So that experience though is so real though. Like, yeah.

Dan: It's like, I obviously took a break from doing it because I'd done it for so long. I was so like immersed in it mentally and emotionally. I felt like I'd burnt out a bit. I needed some time away to kind of work out who I was to do some other stuff.

And I think that that's just a part of growing up that a lot of people found themselves as well. And now that we just decided on a whim to try coming back, and then we just were not expecting this many people to go, ‘I didn't know that I needed this in my life’.

Phil: Growing up with them as well. So it's like people can come back to our videos and be like, oh yeah, like this is still for me.

Dan: It's like I never left.

Phil: It's like we never left because we've grown up as well. So that's the cool thing about it.

i love love love the trope of a villain with a big group of indistinguishable henchmen who are ostensibly there to be their bodyguards but in practice are just their hype men. and even if they're like heavily armed and capable they'll stand around watching while the villain takes on the hero and just cheer when the villain gets a hit in and boo when the hero gets one. and maybe they're like this because they're paid really well or maybe they just genuinely love their boss and will be like nooo you're not cringe and fail we love you boss you're sooooo evil and your plans are brilliant!!! it's just so good

I could spend real time explaining why I'm very attached to Dr Gediman from hit flop: Alien Resurrection, but I think it's easier to just say that when the Xenomorphs escaped, grabbed him, took him to their nasty little lair, and impregnated him with a chestburster, his brain was almost certainly doing some variation of this for the entirety.
