i don't think they would really interact much, despite frankie being in the nerds clique he doesn't mind or tries to not mess with her since she's actually nice, 'she helped tom with his weird eye thing' despite them–the bullies–not having the best reputation. unfortunately bruce is a jerk and at first he would think she's too cloying, a goody two shoes, would poke fun at her nickname "princess of the nerds" thinking it's corny and tease her about it atleast one time. if they interacted i think it would be bruce asking frankie for some help in an assignment, if she accepts and isn't scared by bruce's appearance alone he'd start thinking that maybe, nerds aren't that bad

skater girl with an attitude and apparently a music lover, bruce would be interested in her. not quite in a crush way but in a 'she looks cool' way. seeing how charlie doesn't seem to want anything to do with anyone, he'd respect that and won't try to push any interaction cus he's pretty awkward with girls who don't talk much.

sooo in the fic she's primarily thinking of yelena! their relationship wasn't the best and completely deteriorated with natasha's passing. and seeing dick being a great brother only rubs salt in the wound lol. but there are times when she's actually thinking of both. i think her head's just really really messed up which makes her thoughts jump from here to there to everywhere

aough bruce became more open, maybe more trusting of those trying to help him..... lissa didn't change bc she's already perfect (jk i'm just not finished with her character)

BUT there's a big event and that is jason's murder. bc of that they both change, for the worst too. bruce goes back to being closed and distant, and slowly lissa becomes more and more quiet and scared, much to the point of abandoning viligantism. it caused a lot of harm, so much that they couldn't talk or even look into each other's eyes, until she leaves him one afternoon without a word. AND it WAS solved but only like 20 years in the future :P and they're back to being lovey dovey but now also old

💘 FIFTY FIFTY - Cupid: have either of you given up on love before? how did it feel to find love in one another? were either of you heartbroken before finding the other?

bruce had just lost one of the loves of his life (selina), while melissa was single for most of her life in gotham bc she had a troubled relationship before, so in a way, it's not like they truly gave up on finding love, they just... stopped bothering to find one

and it was... truly something, for her. falling in love with gotham's prince as you get to know him, but still so in the dark about his true self. yes he's handsome, yes he's hot, yes i want to have him to myself and i melt at him just calling my name, but is he trust-worthy? does he has good intentions? he has a child, does he impregnates women and leave them, not even bothering to help financially? so many questions. so little time with him

and for him it was so refreshing, but so scary too! falling in love again in such a short period of time, for someone that shared so many similarities with his past lover! what if she gets involved in his life and media makes her life living hell? what if someone goes after her (trying to hurt bruce, not batman). what if the joker somehow finds out she's related to batman as well, and uses her against him, like he did with selina? so many fears and such a desire to be with her

🔥 MONSTA X - Jealousy: who is the most jealous? how is that jealousy managed? when does it happen? is it easily triggered?

lissa is the most jealous ofc, she's dating the fucking prince of gotham! he has every girl (and boy too let's be honest) under his feet, waiting for a mistake of her to take her place. she gets so blind with jealousy when they're out and about in a gala, and so mad at herself for thinking this about bruce, that she usually asks to leave earlier

for the first months of relationship it was quite the trouble and reason for fights that, different from other couples (looking at you discostick and class duties), didn't end in bed but rather with her crying and storming off. it may have looked doomed, bc it didn't get better even with him reassuring her that he had eyes for no one else, but she swallowed her pride (oh no she's not letting bruce fucking wayne go) and made sure to let everyone know he's hers at every gala, and that was the only way she calmed herself from the jealousy

he feels jealousy too from time to time but it's not as intense as hers

batman: the knight #1

[ID: two images to reflect parallels in different panels. In both images it's raining as Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne are walking down the stairs of the Gotham City Police Department building and to their car. In both it's nighttime and there's cops standing by the door in black raincoats.

The first image is Bruce as a child after his parents died. He's being gently escorted by Alfred, a loving hand on his shoulder as Bruce is in shock. Bruce is wearing a jacket that's too big cor him and is being shielded from the rain by Alfred. Alfred is holding an umbrella over them and in the first panel, he is protectively looking over his shoulder at one of the officers before focusing back on Bruce. The GCPD building is bathed in light and there's a soft hazy fog that surrounds it, reflecting the outoor lighting.

In the second image, Bruce is a teenager and it's after Alfred bailed him out from being arrested for underground fighting. Alfred is in a coat and walks ahead, not waiting to fully open his umbrella before being in the rain. He isn't looking at Bruce or holding the umbrella over him, nor is he escorting him anymore. Bruce guiltily follows him from a few feet back, still not wearing a shirt and getting drenched in rain. Neither of them say anything. The officers' shadows are casted long against the GCPD building as the night's atmosphere is noticeably more cold. The lights inside of the GCPD building aren't as bright or warm as they once were, and the outdoor ones are dull in compairson to before. END ID]

hiii!! I love your movie picks they’re so cool and interesting! And I totally agree with your fave things about xfiles, the slow burn is the best and so is the show format. And yes! There’s a lot of nostalgia around the show which makes it so much better to me. Like it was the first show that my dad showed me when I was very little, he liked the aliens and I liked msr and there’s so many little memories around most of the episodes (and the movies!) that it definitely makes it a comfort show. Also you’ve given me so many ideas and I’m super excited to start your gifset! that's so sweet about you and your dad! 🥺 I love how everyone seems to have their own personal story about how they came to watch the x files - digressing a bit here but this reminds me a story someone told in the tags of one of my gifsets once; about how they were in college when the pilot aired and a bunch of people gathered together to watch it and then every week after that they all kept coming back and that's how their friend group formed - the impact of this silly little show...!!! <333

about music; my spotify wrapped was mostly bruce springsteen, the national, the better call saul original scores (LOL) and florence + the machine (bc I listened to dance fever a lot when it came out :')) but I also really love 60s music (like simon & garfunkel, bob dylan, frank sinatra etc.) and I do listen to a bunch of german music as well (a lot of 80s/new wave but also more recent stuff; one of my fav bands is 'blond') but that's probably not relevant here ;)
