omg helloooo my sweet!!! this was so nice to wake up to!!! you should definitely go to the Van Gogh museum which is an absolutely life changing experience. dutch pancakes at upstairs pannekoekenhuis are supposed to be good and go to the negen straatjes (cute shopping district)!! personal faves are loetje which is a classic dutch restaurant (and they have amazing cocktails) and my FAVOURITE FAVOURITE hidden gem is a classic dutch bruincafé in Amsterdam zuid called café welling - behind the concertgebouw not so far from the Van Gogh museum/museumplein! have so much fun while ur there! and tell me about ur trip after u go!!!

I want more people to know that while the Palestine Olympic team consists of only 8 athletes, at least 69 Palestinian Olympic athletes have been killed since October 2023. This includes athletes who were going to compete in these games and retired athletes such as Majed Abu Maraheel, the first Palestinian Olympian, who died of kidney failure in a refugee camp product of lack of medical treatment.

Remember them during these games.

I think the answer is I move back

I'm going back to the motherland soon I'm so excited but also recently I've been so insecure about my Dutch... idk if insecure is the right word but when I talk to people my age in Dutch I feel so stilted and unsure... I have no one except my mom to talk to in my day to day life in Dutch and I constantly throw in English words to the point t that I don't even realize I'm doing it... I listen to Dutch music but that doesn't help me talk you know.. it's not that people realize Dutch isn't my first language when I go there but I just feel like Im really not as good as I could me and it makes me so scared I might lose it and makes me worried abt my kids how can I teach my kids Dutch if my Dutch keeps degrading
