You were another robot who worked in the edf team,and your job was to also help fight the kaiju,but also evacuate the citizens when thunder or shiny couldn’t.the robot you had admired most had been shiny.you found him adorable.everything about him made you feel warm inside.today was another kaiju battle,and while you evacuated the citizens thunder and shiny took care of the kaiju.you turned your head around for a quick moment,only to see thunder tell shiny “heads up.” Before a decapitated kaiju head fell on shiny,making him stumble and try to get it off.you chuckled a little,finding it how silly shiny was.you hoped that he would never change.

Back at the edf base,you looked over from your hangar to see the workers in thunders hangar cheering him on,while shiny,covered in kaiju goo,waved back at everyone as Alex congratulated you three.you turned your head to shiny,feeling bad for him.he kept complaining about these past few kaiju missions,and you could tell that he was tired of it.the little antenna on his head bending down in sadness.eventually after hearing all of the bickering it was night.and you and thunder had shut down,besides shiny.you tried opening your eyes slowly,and you saw shiny sneaking out of his hangar.thank god he didn’t notice you were watching him.you don’t know if you should confront him and ask what he was doing,or tell thunder yourself.but instead,you kept quiet and went back to sleep.hopefully it was nothing important..

The next day came,and the kaiju alert rang.you got out of your hangar just like thunder,only for shiny nowhere to be seen..you looked at his hangar and wondered..where could he be?thunder also looked at shinys hangar and was just as confused as you were.”where is shiny?” Thunder said,looking at you to see if you knew where he was.only for you to give him a shrug.then not even five seconds later,you and thunder both heard a loud booming voice that sounded similar to shinys.”the new and improved shiny is here!” You and thunder both turned around to see shiny,but instead of his normal self,he looked more…well you just didn’t know what to say.your head tilted while thunder looked in surprise to this new form of shiny.he was mostly black,with red neon everywhere on him.even having some features of thunder like his Mohawk,and the things on his shoulders..so this must’ve been what he was sneaking out for last night..?an upgrade?was it because of what he said the other day?you thought,looking at shiny..for some reason you couldn’t get your eyes off of him…as alex became concerned,wondering if shiny could handle upgrades,shiny started to walk towards the giant edf door.”there is no time for figuring this out.there’s a kaiju that’s in our atmosphere if you didn’t notice.” Is what shiny said as thunder followed him from behind and you did as well.”but shiny,what is this?you have equipped yourself with unauthorized expiremental components..” shiny stopped walking for a moment to turn his head around to thunder as he raised one of his arms.”thunder. Gawk at me,follow me,or get the crunk out of my way.” Shiny said as he flew off right in front of thunder,leaving you two.but eventually thunder flew off,and so did you.

It seemed like ever since those upgrades he’d been acting like a jerk.shiny would always destroy the kaiju before you or thunder could do something to it.and you don’t know why,but it sometimes seemed like shiny had been…flirting with you?he would often glance at you and smirk,use his weapons in front of you to impress you,and he would only argue with thunder but never with you.but you shook it off as nothing too serious.it’s not like he felt the same way as you did..

It was another kaiju battle,and of course shiny defeated it himself.as you were knocked out by the kaijus tail earlier,you didn’t realize a building was about to fall on you as you laid down.before you could move shiny stepped in,pushing the building away from you as he reached out a hand.”are you ok?”you squinted your eyes at him for a second.shiny had never been so caring like this after his upgrade,did he really feel the same way as you did for him?you didn’t say anything,only giving him a quick nod and using his hand to get yourself up.as it was now sunset,you three were walking back to the edf base.as you were walking in between them,hearing thunder and shiny both argue about his new upgrades,you couldn’t help but feel shiny overheating and getting more angry from thunder arguing.you slightly leaned on shinys shoulders,which caught him off guard as you asked him if he was ok.he managed to mutter out a little “fine.” Making it seem like he was annoyed,but he wasn’t.your touch cooled him down a little from the heated argument with thunder.you felt bold,and gave him a quick kiss on his helmet,making him freeze for a moment before he went back to walking with you.it took a moment for him to smile back at you as you two kept walking.thunder luckily couldn’t see you giving him a kiss on his helmet because he was too busy still arguing and trying to make a point.and as you looked down you realized that shiny had never let go of your hand ever since he helped you get up..

Hey, Silas, I have a bit of an issue. Maybe you and the others can give me some advice. So, a few months ago, I got hired to take out some poor schmuck who messed with the wrong guy. But before I could kill him, my employer's wanted me to get some info out of him without raising too much alarm. Annoying, but whatever. Just shmooze up to him for a few months, get the info, ask him for a drink, and strangle him with a piano string when he's got his back turned. I've done it plenty of times before, nothing special. Only... I think I kinda accidentally caught feelings for my target? Yes, I know, rookie mistake, check your emotions out at the door and all that, but it wasn't like I was TRYING to fall for him!! He's just... different from my other targets. He's sweet and funny, and he doesn't treat me like some pretty accessory to drag around so that his rich buddies can oggle at. He treats me like a person. Like, I mean something. I've tried to walk myself through every scenario I can, trying to find a way around these stupid feelings, but every time, I just imagine those fear filled eyes staring back at me, and his terrified voice begging me to stop, and it kills me. It's like staring down the barrel of a shot gun at a stupid little puppy! It doesn't know it's about to get its head blown off. It just sees you, and that's all it takes to make it wag its dumb little tail, and you can't pull the trigger cause all you can see are those soft, naive, loving eyes! Hell, I have the information I need! All I need to do is kill him, but I can't bring myself to do it! I know I can't kill him, but I also know my employers are relentless. If they find out, they'll probably just kill me and find someone else to do the job. I feel like my only choices are to kill the guy I fell in love with or warn him, so maybe he can get away... which would mean he'd probably hate me and never want to see me again. And that's probably the best case scenario. I can't tell what's worse. The thought of those eyes being full of fear and confusion. Or the thought of them being full of anger and betrayal... what should I do? I feel like there's no right decision here. That I'm trapped.

Silas had seemed to falter, for once. The look of pure confidence in his yellow green eyes faded almost instantly throughout the confession the Anon had to make. The hurt, the pining, longing, and the fear...he just knew he had to answer this somehow, yet he hesitated...almost as if he had gone through this exact thing.

"I would suggest...warn him as quickly as possible: if that does not work, scare him away." Silas' voice was flat, soft. "Do not stop trying to scare him away if he is persistent, it only hurts you more. As he is your target and you are attracted to him, your heart will only hurt more if he dies, rather than ushering him away..."

Lacrimosa had paused, only to roll her eyes. She got up from sitting, using the ashtray nearby to extinguish her cigarette. Her tail lashed around in impatience as she stood next to the Anon, a gentle hand tilting their chin up. While she seemed to be annoyed and peevish with the question, she tried to speak with a soft yet firm motherly tone.

"...mei deliciae, if it is a mission you have to complete, you must show your strength. It does not matter if you love him...your job has to come first before that chance of being hurt by the one you love befalls you. Suck it up, and get it over with." Her voice had an edge to it. Her amber eyes narrowed. "It is not worth it getting sentimental over someone so useless..."

Silas wanted to protest, but was quickly shot down in fear and anxiety when Lacrimosa cast him a warning glare. The two fell silent, exchanging glances, then fully turning towards the Anon.

...the three of you knew how this felt...but the deed had to be done. You need to kill him...no matter how much it hurts.

...Welp. Here I go again, putting a new fandom on my blog. God help us all-

But for real actually I've been a fan of Pastra for quite a long time! Both for his video essats and his horror series! I absolutely adore his artstyle and designs and his analog horror does so much new, different, and creative stuff with the genre that it immediately stood out to me, so I was an instant fan! Took me a while tho to make soms proper fanart, unfortunately, maybe i doodled here and there but i didn't have the motivation just yet to do a full piece...

Then Volume 1 came out and ohohoho i got my motivation >:]

Well that and soon after Vol. 1 came out I noticed this cool little AU going around on Tumblr where Clyde and Alex kinda team up, and I absolutely adore that kind of dynamic, so that got my motivation up even more! So much so that I even got some extra doodles out while working on the piece, some of em alluding to the Sitcom!DOAI AU, so ey that's something! I think- :'D

But anyhoo, my drawing inspiration is unfortunately well spent, so I'll cya guys wheneverI next get motivation! ...which'll probably be in a few months hhhhh-
