You know, there was a post I saw forever ago that was annoyed how Wukong seemed to be "holding back" against Azure in 4x13, and to me it's like, of course he was. Their goal was to distract Azure and get the scroll back. That was part of the strategy. Annoy Azure, get the scroll, and then seal the remaining Brotherhood in said scroll. Angering Azure by acting flippant was the move boy.

every day i think about this quote in the context of danger days. of the girl and her whole narrative. her running away from the legacy left behind by the four killjoys who raised her, and died for her. she was meant to be “some kind of messiah”, rescued because people believed she would destroy BLI, but she’s only six when the story kicks off.
