but about the lore… i generally like it. the latest short story they released was just kinda bad. the writing wasn’t that great nor captivating but it still expanded in the worldbuilding in ways i appreciate (plus leblanc and mordekaiser mentions so i win). about the Runeterra lore itself, i think it’s fine? they could have done more interesting stuff than simply “annie burns something down again!!” and the interactions with jhin were ok but god i have trouble getting past the voice acting it’s just too much it makes me cringe

It’s clear that OBJECTIVELY yer got somethin’ goin’ for ya. SINFUL as that is.”

          Of all the DOOMED arrangements she’d organized over the past year, this one had to be the MOST ABSURD. Inviting two UNCULTURED & UNEDUCATED Americans into the Niijima household for a movie night & slumber-party --- One of which, repeatedly HIT ON HER & cursed like a sailor. The other, her SOCIALLY AWKWARD overtly Christian baby sister. Makoto had no feelings toward either of them, aside from a genuine compassion, empathy, & understanding. (Some pity too). She wanted to SUPPORT THEM. Feed & nurture them. Take care of them. It was in her nature. Big sis would say that she was DRAWN TO LOST CAUSES. (In fact, she had said precisely that in the hour prior to Helena & Delilah’s arrival). Had taken a whole lot of CONVINCING to get Sae to agree --- HELPED that the Student Council President held zero sexual attraction toward either of them. Dominating personality CLASHED HEAVILY with the redhead & her little sister was frankly odd & closed-minded. However, that didn’t make them bad people, so-to-speak. Well, one of them was...QUESTIONABLE. 

          “I’ve prepared snacks. On the kitchen counter. Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic in the refrigerator. We also have quite the selection of movies. Perhaps we could vote on genre?” SWIFT NOD in the direction of the kitchen to let their guests know just where the food & drinks were --- Dainty hand placed atop a TOWERING STACK of DVDs. “If sis has her way, we’ll be watching something...Utterly terrifying.” Makoto took note of the way both sisters reacted to that concept --- READING PEOPLE was something she was still LEARNING how to do. Was far more difficult than studying the pages of text-books. There was no surefire system or FACT. All individuals were unique in ways. That said, it appeared that Delilah wasn’t a particular fan of the idea, whilst Helena was EASY TO READ. Vocal about her LOVE for gore & blood & horror. 

          “Damn. Sounds like yer big sissy’s got better taste than ya. Hotter too.” Not-so-subtle DIG at the fact that Makoto had REJECTED HER. Narcissistic sociopath had never taken kindly to being DENIED. Especially when it came from someone who, in her honest opinion, was way beneath her league. Girl wasn’t all that. Just some smart, nerdy, self-entitled CUNT --- Far as she could tell. Didn’t mean Helena wouldn’t TAKE ADVANTAGE of her kindness. “My vote’s for horror. An’ I wan’ somethin’ real bloody an’ gruesome. Releasing her little sister’s arm, Helena went to town. Palming a plate to pile a mountain of snacks onto --- All-the-while, grabbing IMPOLITELY with GRUBBY fingers & stuffing her face. Chewing with mouth open. Lips covered in crumbs & sauces. Makoto’s DEEP SIGH could be heard from the living-room while the teensy-weensy redhead RANSACKED the kitchen. Greasy, saliva covered digits reached for the handle of the refrigerator, ripping the door open & ADMIRING the selection of alcohol. Lips tangling DEVILISHLY at the ends & black eyes glimmering with DELIGHT. “Y’all got the ‘spensive shit. Nice!” Plucking out a bottle of...Something that looked like it cost more than her Chevy, she twisted the cap off & lifted it IMPUDENTLY to her lips. Taking a THICK GULP directly off the bottle. No care in the world if it might gross the hostesses out, nor if they wanted some. Could share --- RIGHT? Wasn’t like she had cooties.

SHIP BATTLE RULES

People are to go into my ask box and submit any characters they would like to be featured in the ship battle. You are not to submit actual ships, the ships will be randomly decided based on what characters get submitted, that way it’s fair and we don’t just get all of the most popular ships, we can also get some absolutely ridiculous ships you’ll have to choose between. Of course there is always a chance that a popular ship will end up being randomly created.

If you wish to submit a character you must submit:

A main gen character

A marauders gen character

A next gen character

A character from one of the games (HM, HL, MA)

A death eater/order member/ministry official character

A miscellaneous character (creature, professor, founder etc.)

And two other characters of your choosing.

I will be accepting common OC’s such as Grant Chapman and Daisy Dursley

This means with each submission there will be eight characters, and this is to create a large variety of characters and large variety of ships. You also cannot submit more than once.

Once I have 64 characters (32 ships) the ship battle will commence. You’ll be able to find all other posts under the #hpshipbattles tag. This is all for good natured fun, don’t take the ships too seriously they are randomly generated from a large pool of 64 characters after all.

“Happy New Year.” Sera knew for a FACT Helena wouldn’t be able to resist sneering at least ONCE at her. Especially after the Washingtons SO KINDLY skipped out on Delilah’s White Trash Christmas Bash.They had MORE IMPORTANT dinners to attend to. NAMELY HER BEAU’S. “How’d the family Christmas go? Was it everything Lillah HOPED it would be?” Words were BRAVE -- MOCKING. But Seraphina would never deny being AFRAID of the LeBlancs. Especially with how JAGGED their history was. But that was also PRECISELY what fueled this very REVULSION. And besides Seraphina had connections. Namely a BIG SHOT husband. Would Helena REALLY do anything to her -- and risk pissing off Delilah AGAIN?

Out of her element and RAMROD STIFF, Delilah hadn’t felt so uncomfortable since that simply dreadful TRAILER PARK PARTY Helena had thrown years back to spite Daddy. He’d locked her in the bible closet ABSENT FOOD & STILL BLEEDING for an entire weekend. And Hel would’ve stayed in there had Delilah not defied him to let her out. With Hel turning the damn trailer upside down in a DRUG, ALCOHOL, SEX & RAGE-FUELED “SLEEP” OVER in an act of rebellion. (In her defense she DID help Delilah clean up before Daddy got home.) Such proved to be the depth of Delilah’s present discomfort. Tensed up and perched a few safe SISTERLY inches away from Helena with rainbow pop rocks and a pillow. Uncertain of Makoto and Sae (and their offputting closeness). Fearful of sociopathic psychosexual advances from her own fellow sister. (Just a matter of time, really...) And most assuredly HATING the present movie. Reminders of the ever-growing weakness of her soul, and the bad, BAD place she’d eventually end up. Not to mention the way skin itched and tummy twisted, with each passing advance sissy made on the Niijima duo. ENVY -- Not that she’d ever CONFESS IT. She’d be sure to complete her studies tonight. Maybe PRAY for forgiveness if she could get a minute alone. Would even already be STARVING HERSELF, had Helena not known her so well. No way the fiery skeleton wouldn’t question why Delilah wold EVER pass up rainbow pop rocks. All in all, the younger girl just hoped that only Helena would be able to detect any of her standoffishness. And doubly so that the redhead wouldn’t PUSH IT. Flinch, screaming, raising up the cushion to shield black abyssal eyes. Shaking in sheer terror. “A’ don’t like it!! A’ don’t like it!1 A’ DON’T LIKE IT!!” (Any of it. But specifically the MOVIE.)

Things had been... WEIRD... From the start. From Time-Zero. And for all her pride, Sae had never once wanted to say ‘I told you so‘ LESS than she did tonight. Because that would suggest Makoto had been WRONG ALL ALONG with regards to the Americans. That they were being PLAYED FOR FOOLS. And that Helena LeBlanc really had no intentions of letting up with INFURIATING ADVANCES & INSULTS. So, instead, Sae opted to pay little mind to the others. Focusing on the movie and the girl in her arms. She and Makoto had curled together beneath a little blankie. Makoto resting her head on Sae’s shoulder. With luck, the intimacy between them wouldn’t TIP OFF the others. And they’d just be free to enjoy food, alcohol, movies, and the entire night ABSENT INCIDENT. (Fat chance.) “You okay?” she asked Makoto, dangling arm tightening its grip protectively around Makoto’s shoulders. Something had CLEARLY just triggered Delilah. And while Sae had NO DOUBT that her own little sister had strength outweighing even the greatest of superheroes, it didn’t hurt to check. (Everyone is afraid of something, after all.) “You think they’re figuring it out?” Delilah seemed a little... TENSE. But to be fair, she’d been like that since she arrived.

There, Helena stood on the balcony. Poised, elegant, statuesque. Her chin raised and her eyes looking down upon her guests in cold, calculating observation. It was obvious to Beatrix how she was akin to an ethereal, superior being standing authoratively above the inferior, huddled masses, seing them as no more than mere subjects.

She might as well have been so. Being the esteemed lady of the house, fawned over and idolized by both the men and woman alike now clamoring about in the foyer. Even Beatrix, she had it admit, had fallen for her executive grace she moment she first laid eyes on her. But she did not fail to forget her icey expressions, and the way her smile never quite met her eyes even in moments of obstesive sentimentality. She couldn’t help but notice the subtle hint of loneliness and isolation from atop her frozen pedestal.

Even as Beatrix gazed up at the other woman in awe, whether in amazement or fear, the other woman somehow knew turn her head to her. This time she did not offer even a pretense of smile, her expression a cold enigma. Beatrix swore she almost shivered at the sight of her steely gaze. .
