I can't stop thinking about the scene where Ivan finds Till and nuzzles his head against his. He was on that banquet for the same reason as Till, most likely went through the same treatment with the only difference being that he doesn't fight it so it will be less painful (but it isn't really)

So i think he not only felt bad about Till but for both of them. I've seen a lot of takes that say he didn't kiss Till because Till was unconscious and he knew that it was wrong after what Till went through, but i think a kiss didn't even occur to him.

He got out of that banquet and immediately looked for Till, perhaps out of just worry but i think he needs that human comfort as well.

His eyes were glassy the moment he looked at Till, he was keeping it together until he saw him.

idk if this is accurate but i’ve felt like in previous seasons riz & gorgug have been one of the inter-bad kids dynamics we’ve seen the least of & this season has been so great in that aspect. gorgug having helped make some of riz’s magic gear. riz helping gorgug with his studies. the shared birthday party. gorgug’s gift to riz being something he himself made to protect riz. riz’s gift to gorgug being something he illegally grabbed to protect gorgug. gorgug who utilizes rage to put his body on the line for his friends & riz who will take deep levels of mental stress for his friends. even though it was within the context of a joke, riz calling gorgug an “absolute sweetie.” like yea they might not be in a band together or both part of a presidential campaign team or owlbears teammates, but they’d go to war for each other, because they’re best friends.

His design is based around themes of cryptids (mothman specifically), eldritch horror, cults, and evil science and I’m very happy with the result! Under the cut will have the WIPS + the designs with my notes and choices (thank you to dadskall for being my brainstorming buddies on this hehe)

Any directors that would be a dream to work with?

— I would love to work with Ari Aster or Christopher Nolan, there’s something about the way he makes films that excites me and reminds me of why I go to the cinema.

I never saw myself on screen in characters I saw in films as I didn’t think it was possible to be an actor, but I do remember when I was a teenager, going to see Nolan’s film, Inception, three times at the cinema, which is so rare for me, but I loved it so much. It was so inspiring, and I don’t usually get inspired by film, that inspiration usually comes from elsewhere.

Such as…?

— I seek inspiration outside of work, from life really and the things that get me excited. I’m into sport, well, obsessed with football, I’m a spurs fan, have been all my life!

I’ve also just done a marathon read of books by the Australian author Tim Winton, and I love music, listening to all kinds of genres, like Jordan Rakei, who I saw at the Albert Hall the other night. I also play guitar, but just for my own enjoyment, I’m not about to unleash my music onto the world!

Let’s say a music biopic came along, who would you want to have a crack at playing?

— Mika! I look a bit like him, if I shave my beard off! [laughs] But I don’t know if it’s too early to make one about him yet, or maybe do it as a musical, but I would definitely play him!

A lazy summer day by a stream~

I finally put my illustration degree into good use and made a proper traditional illustration (although still fanart 😅). Sometimes I really wanted to just "undo" some strokes or move some things around haha but man was this relaxing and satisfying to work on, also I am just so proud of the outcome. I haven't done a proper traditional illustration on this scale since my thesis so it's been a few years.

I took these photos with a phone outside to try and really capture the colors and details.

so interesting to me how we've heard phil's perspective on meeting dan for the first time but haven't heard dan's at all (aside from the mr. burns comment lmao 💀). like i wonder if dan would agree with phil and describe himself as being confident, or if he was also nervous and either was good at hiding it and/or phil didn't see it through his own nerves

(slightly unrelated but i just realized this so i'm gonna put it here: dan and phil are COWARDS because why have they answered two different questions about first impressions and only talked about their impressions when meeting irl.... like why are they still withholding their first impressions of each other online (¬_¬))
