(in my feelings) i know sometimes the joke is how could sqq not think killing himself in front of binghe would be traumatizing or how could he think of it as a good idea, but it’s like, he thinks binghe wants him dead!!!! he thinks he’s giving binghe what he wants!!! how could luo binghe want anything else after what shen qingqiu has done? (on my knees) he killed that sweet boy and now he’ll put an end to his life as shen qingqiu… and it won’t really be enough but at least it’ll close the loop right? at least binghe will be able to move on to the next arc. and he can even do this much for him as he goes. shen qingqius role in this story is over

Cracky SVSSS Canon Divergence AU: Shang Qinghua (Airplane Bro) gets it into his head to try and "fix" Qijiu's relationship in order to 1) make his own work life easier and also 2) hopefully avert the ruthless destruction of Cang Qiong Mountain Sect by distracting Shen Qingqiu away from being a real piece of shit whenever the protagonist finally shows up. (Luo Binghe isn't here yet.)
Unfortunately, he gets this idea because he accidentally slept with Yue Qingyuan. It was during a late budgetary meeting. They'd both been slightly drunk. Yue Qingyuan had been sad and Shang Qinghua had been sad AND horny. It was a "bro helping another bro out" kind of thing! Shang Qinghua still can't really believe it happened. But it can't happen again! Bad idea!
Shang Qinghua encounters Shen Qingqiu in a brothel with half a plan on how to start unraveling that much damage, only... uh... Well, Shen Qingqiu got the wrong idea about what Shang Qinghua wanted from him, and Shang Qinghua's favorite type unfortunately happens to be "scary and mean and very pretty". Fuck! He accidentally slept with Shen Qingqiu too!
So, okay, back to Yue Qingyuan, who will definitely be the more reasonable person to talk to, because he hides all of his massive trauma like a polite person! Oh, shit, Yue Qingyuan is pretty hot, isn't he? And is coming on to Shang Qinghua again for a casual fuck... and whoops, the bad idea happened again! Fuck! When Shang Qinghua tries to have a productive conversation afterwards, Yue Qingyuan even confides in him a little. Yeah, bro, it IS super obvious that you're totally hung up on Shen Qingqiu, and oh, shit, you are NEVER going to make the first move, are you?
Okay, maybe "fixing" these guys is just not possible. Mistakes! He has made them! Shang Qinghua is just going to stay out of things moving forward. He's going to avoid them now! Oh, shit, Shen Qingqiu wants to know why Shang Qinghua was staring at him in that meeting and is slamming against a wall and- uh. Oh, wow. That's hot.
"Both of them?" Mobei-Jun says later, too bemused to be jealous. (Moshang aren't a thing yet. Maybe not ever a thing like that in this AU. Demons also have different societal conventions even so.)
"BOTH OF THEM!" Shang Qinghua wails, lying facedown on the floor of his house. He doesn't know why he's actually venting to Mobei-Jun, but he has NO ONE ELSE. He's getting SO well laid, sure, but the constant nagging feeling that he's going to get maimed this way is really putting a damper on the sex. Qijiu really, truly, honestly do NOT know that he's sleeping with both of them. "What is wrong with these people?! Why is their taste so bad? I made everything so much worse..."
"Stop fucking them then," Mobei-Jun suggests, as helpful as ever, which is not helpful at all. Mobei-Jun has never been helpful to anyone in his life. When he's not mildly annoyed by it, he thinks this shit is hysterically funny.

Posting an SVSSS outline for a fic that I will sadly never have the time to write in the hopes that maybe it'll inspire someone out there. <3 Summary: Due to a system error, SY transmigrates into SQQ five years after Binghe fell into the Abyss. With no system, no support from his martial brothers, and no telling when the blackened protagonist will come to get his revenge, SY must find a way to survive.
Original LBH/SQQ|SY, background LBM/SQQ|SY
SY wakes up to hear the system going into a blue screen (power source missing, external power source corrupted), and finds himself in the world of PIDW as SQQ. After speaking with his martial brothers, he discovers it’s been 5 years since the immortal conference where Binghe fell into the abyss.
SY knows that this means that his return is imminent, but can’t help feeling like he’s gotten the short end of the stick- why send him to a role where he could have made a difference if he’d had more time? On top of that, the peak leaders don’t believe him when he tries to warn them that everyone is in danger, and he is subsequently put under house arrest for rest after his severe qi deviation.
A young disciple from Mu-shidi’s peak is tasked with helping his recovery, tending to his needs while he has to meditate and re-ground himself. SY quickly learns that the boy is not going to let him leave, but is willing to listen and help him talk out his fears/what he might be able to do to save the sect and cultivation world at large.
After a few months of seclusion in the bamboo house, SY has figured out how to act enough like SJ to be permitted to go on short trips to the foot of the mountain as part of his recovery./to help settle his nerves. While in town, SY thinks he sees LBH, which throws him into a panic. The disciple takes him back to the peak with the assurance that there is nothing to fear, but suggests that maybe he would feel better if they traveled somewhere remote for an actual vacation.
After listing off a few places like small towns and hot springs where SQQ knows LBH found wives, he settles on a small town SY has never heard of and should probably be safe, but then he feels guilty about essentially abandoning the peak inhabitants to their fate and fleeing. The disciple says that he can make sure that the peak remains safe, but in turn SY has to agree to do what he’s told. SY reluctantly agrees, knowing the disciple is just humoring him.
By the time SY finally agrees to leave, it’s too late; LBH arrives at the bamboo house and is ready to fight, but then the disciple steps in and soundly forces LBH to make a withdrawal. The disciple then reveals himself to be Luo Bingge, and demands that SY return with him. SY freaks out to the point of qi deviation and blacks out.
When he wakes up, he’s in the bamboo house and everything is quiet. For a moment he thinks it’s all a bad dream, and then the door to the bedroom opens up and it’s another SQQ. This SQQ turns out to be another version of SY from another reality, and somehow he ended up married to a softer version of the protagonist. SQQ says that Bingge brought him here to ‘learn how to love him.’
SY and SQQ talk for a bit about transmigration, coming to terms with being gay, and talking about the trauma of being unable to grieve for their last life. SQQ offers sanctuary, saying that LBM had beaten LBG before and they can keep him safe. SY ultimately decides to go with LBG since they’d been together for months and the disciple never hurt him and definitely saved him from a fate worse than death. And besides, he always thought LBH deserved better, so why not him?
SQQ wishes him luck and gives him a talisman from his system to get in touch if he ever changes his mind, and LBG takes him back to his world to learn how to love him.
SY and LBG have a beauty and the beast montage and the harem starts getting dispersed, but SY is still having panic attacks that send him into qi deviations, dreaming about what almost happened back in the first PIDW world. He thinks that Binghe is hunting him down, even more angry than before since he’s been denied his revenge AND he got beaten by an imposter.
LBG swears he will protect him; <more stuff happens and SY is slowly coming to terms with the fact that he might actually be gay for Binghe, lol>
Showdown of Other LBH vs LBG, shit starts to go down and SY tries to use the token from the other SQQ to get LBM to help; ends up doing a system reset and he wakes up in the bamboo house with YQG sitting by his side, anxious about the qi deviation. The dream is already beginning to fade as he asks after LBH, who is apparently still in the woodshed where he left him….
#svsss#plot bunnies#outline#fics I'll never write#but it was fun outlining lol#Feel free to use this as a prompt if you guys are inspired <3#original luo binghe#shen yuan

qijiu bingqiu (bingliushen??) fix-it fic planning blabber
so i think i gotta keep it tight on SJ’s POV. Right before his death, he makes a deal with Xin Mo (who’s kind of a lone operator bc LBH too has to fight its power) to create this alternate timeline in exchange for his cultivation. Xin Mo can open up new dimensions no problem, and with SJ’s cultivation, it even manages to rewind the timeline. That’s not enough though—Xin Mo’s goal is only consumption, so it takes the deal but reveals there’s nothing that will actually change. The price SJ paid only opened the door.
But that’s fine, ‘cause SJ saw it coming. He also strikes another deal, this time with Death itself? Some sort of large cosmic force. The only thing he wants changed is Qi-ge’s death, and in exchange...the universe takes him. SJ will not get to exist in that second universe. SJ takes the deal.
And that’s the start of canon. SJ-as-SQQ can no longer exist. Instead, SY-as-SQQ is brought in. In order to stay cohered though, YQY’s memories and personality get a little glitched—he is physically incapable of recognizing all the ways SQQ is now not SJ. That’s why, despite SY-as-SQQ clearly being OOC, YQY never seems to see it.
Canon happens, now we’re in the post-canon world where bingqiu are married and settling down, but SQQ still kicks it with his buddies LQG and YQY every now and then. YQY still firmly believes SQQ is SJ, to SY’s increasing consternation. Is it just delusions and wishful thinking? The more YQY treats him as SJ though, the worse SY feels—he shouldn’t be stealing all this affection that doesn’t belong to him.
It all comes to head when SQQ overhears public opinion on YQY, how he’s perfect in everything but his crazy devotion to SQQ. SY thinks enough is enough. He can’t bring SJ back but he sure can tell YQY that his Xiao Jiu is dead, right? The System warns him he’ll be punished but that’s fine, it’s just not fair, SQQ can take another little mental horror trip down to BinggeLand if it means YQY can have some closure.
Except that’s not what happens. He gets YQY in private and says, “no, you don’t understand, Shen Jiu is dead.” He sees the recognition in YQY’s eyes, but he also sees the moment that recognition gets wiped. The sad smile that had fallen off of YQY’s face returns, eerily happy, as YQY says, “my apologies, Qingqiu-shidi, I must have spaced out just now, what did you say?”
Right before the System kicks him into another punishment phase, SY tries again: “Shen Jiu is dead!” He sees the recognition disappear once again from YQY’s eyes.
Inside the punishment world, Bingge has him again. “I’ve been searching for an answer to why the sniveling pathetic version of me gets you as his Shizun, and I think I figured it out.” For a moment, SY’s horrified by the possibility that Bingge has figured out his transmigrator status—if his punishment figures it out, would he be trapped inside the punishment forever? But instead, Bingge says, “Liu Qingge is still alive, meaning Shizun didn’t kill him in the spirit caves. Did his survival render such a dramatic change?” SQQ”s like “yup, yup that’s definitely it. We’re such good friends, he really changed my outlook on life, so I treated you better, mhm.”
“Shizun’s very clever then to save his own life this way. Xin Mo’s already told me about your little bargain.”
That’s how SY learns that SJ had made a deal. Holy shit, he’d thought it was just random phenomenon this whole time, but the original goods had made it all possible? He didn’t know whether to thank SJ or curse him.
But that can’t be the whole story—Xin Mo opened up a timeline, that doesn’t explain why SY is here. Bingge doesn’t know this part, but it sure feels like SJ made a second deal, paying with his life.
What would motivate the original goods to do all this? Sacrifice his hard-won cultivation and his entire existence in this last-ditch effort?
The memory of YQY’s glitching came to mind.
Holy shit. SY owns the two of them more than he’d ever thought.
After the punishment, SY goes back home. He’s with Binghe, and LBH can tell there’s something troubling him.
“Binghe, there’s something this husband wants to do, and I need your help to do it.”
“Shizun, anything.”
“...But there’s a risk it might hurt you. There’s a risk it might ruin everything. It might be straight-forward, but it also might not be. It’s safer for all of us—but especially you, Binghe—if I just let things be.”
“But it’s not something that Shizun can just let be, is it? Otherwise Shizun wouldn’t have said anything. Binghe is honored to help. Anything to ease Shizun’s mind.”
“...I promised I wouldn’t let you come to harm again, and I meant that. Whatever happens, remember that I am your husband, this is my call, and you must do whatever you need to do to protect yourself, okay? Swear to me, Binghe.”
SQQ begins figuring out how to use Xin Mo to go fetch SJ from the other timeline. He figures that if Bingge could exist in this dimension without destroying the space-time continuum, the same ought to be true for SJ. Only trouble is, he can only go get SJ after SJ’s made the deals, because otherwise it’s a paradox, and he wouldn’t exist.
So SQQ brings home limbless, post-torture!SJ. That’s where the fic starts.
By all accounts, the deals are squared: SJ no longer has cultivation and SJ died in SY’s dimension, so SY successfully exists. SJ and SY can exist in the same space totally fine, and SJ begins healing.
(Currently, the fic is completely from SJ’s POV, and very much about coming to terms with being saved and what the hell is going on in this better world.)
The trouble is, SY doesn’t know what’s going to happen when SJ meets YQY again. SJ very thoroughly declines the offer to go see YQY because part of SJ still believes this whole thing is a trick, and if he goes to see YQY he’ll ruin his end of the bargain and YQY will die again. For SY’s part, he’s afraid of SJ going to see YQY too for similar but opposite reasons—if SJ going to see YQY ruins SJ’s end of the bargain, then wouldn’t that mean SY can no longer exist? Would SY just disappear from this universe?
So we get ragtag group therapy fun times. SJ thinks this is probably all an illusion Xin Mo is tricking him with, so treats everything with scorn but also existential apathy. This actually works to his benefit because he’s not clinging to things as hard, and it’s easier for him to admit, for example, that he was definitely in the wrong for abusing LBH, and yeah he was being a spiteful bitch when he did not need to be.
SY tries to keep LBH away from SJ mostly, because c’mon, he’s not about to make his darling husband face his childhood abuser. He does explain the situation to LBH though, in the same terms that Bingge had (mis)understood it lmfao—that the act of saving LQG’s life had prompted an entire 180 on his personality so he came out of the spirit caves a better man. LBH’s jealous as fuck of course, but damn if that doesn’t explain some things. Given the opportunity to see his old and new Shizun side-by-side, LBH takes it, and really gets a moment to see how horribly he’s been treated by SQQ.
So it actually prompts some therapy between SY and LBH too. LBH used to figure that getting pushed into the Abyss was squared by SQQ sacrificing himself to save him. But ofc it turned out SQQ came back and kept on, in his perspective, trying to get away from him. Trying to leave him behind. SQQ’s tried to treat his abandonment issues by going “okay sorry about that I’ll never leave you behind again” but he’s never really explained it.
SJ’s presence gives Binghe the ability to ask the question again and gives SY an answer: shame and cowardice. They’re able to put SJ’s mistreatment of Binghe right in front of them and SY-as-SQQ gets to explain how much it hurt to look back on that bit of their past, but also how much he feared LBH's retaliation. LBH is a little hurt, but also he remembers how he’d raped SQQ under Xin Mo’s control and, looking at what’s left of SJ now, he sees his own darkest possibilities. He really did destroy the man he loves now in another timeline. That helps him contextualize SY’s fears and why SY chose to push him off the cliff.
LQG crashlands into the middle of this whole party as is his wont. He gets a little fix-it too maybe. SY very staunchly repeats the reason for his personality swap—saving LQG in that cave made him a Better Person™. Meeting the original goods again, LQG is forced to believe it. Or like, it doesn’t really matter to him either way, but now he really does see pre-cave SQQ and post-cave SQQ as two completely different people.
SJ though, has to swallow this really weird pill. He remembers trying to save LQG inside the cave but failing, and then getting blamed for LQG’s death. If he’d succeeded, he and LQG would’ve become...this close?? A life debt between them would’ve changed his outlook on life so much???
Well whatever. Now that he’s put down all his old posturing, he more readily gives his reasons for why LQG gets on his nerves so much: the insufferable confidence (arrogant prick), the skills to back it up (privileged bastard), and a flawless cultivator family with all the money and the training and the pedigree. (Meanwhile SY’s like “oh shit that’s me too hahahahah awkward, good thing he still thinks i’m him so he doesn’t just murder me immediately.)
LQG’s a little weirded out too. SY-as-SQQ is his favorite person in the world, so it’s hard to get angry at SJ-as-SQQ since they’re “the same person.” He’s more willing to talk all this out with SJ and brings up all their old beef on his side too: high-handed snootiness coupled with underhanded dick moves, also the whole sleeping-with-prostitutes thing hurting Cang Qiong’s reputation. Ofc they’re snapping at each other this whole time. “There’s no reason for you to do all that!”
SY intervenes if needed. “Actually there is.” Considering the fact that SJ gets indicted for so many things that actually turn out to be not his fault, SY figures he’ll just get it out there. “Remember Qiu Haitang’s accusations against me? I grew up a slave in that household. I grew up believing it was kill or be killed—it doesn’t make sabotaging others right, but...that’s why the Spirit Caves made such an impression on me. I learned it wasn’t just kill or be killed, I can also save people. It opened my eyes to everything I already had, and everything I should be grateful for.”
This is for both LQG and SJ. And it works, to some degree. SJ knows he managed to claw to the top of privilege, but he still felt horribly insecure there. That’s because, he realizes, he never got the thing that would actually grant him security. It's not power or money or reputation—it’s Qi-ge. Holy hell he misses Qi-ge. In anger and betrayal, he’d pushed YQY continuously out of his life, but when faced with certain death the only regret he actually had was bringing Qi-ge down with him. YQY was meant to have survived, and in this world, he did.
So now, after all that, SJ really, really wants to go see his Qi-ge. It’s nice to have survived (and gotten part of his power back—at the very beginning, SY gives one of SQQ’s eyes to SJ as a bit of his golden core in order to save SJ’s life), but it’s so damn hard to live on in this world knowing YQY is only so far away, still very deeply attached to Xiao Jiu.
They try to Cyrano it at first. SY-as-SQQ goes to YQY with SJ’s voice in his ear, telling SY how to treat YQY as him. YQY is so fucking touched and hopeful, and SY is damn uncomfortable. He goes running back to SJ and says it’s not going to work—it’s not going to work because he’s no longer Qi-ge’s Xiao Jiu. He’s Luo Binghe’s husband, okay? He can’t go back to YQY as SJ.
SJ’s fucking furious at first (what kind of shitty variation of himself saves LQG’s life and then falls out of love with Qi-ge???? bitch?????) but what can he do? LQG tells them YQY’s on his way here and SJ hides for now. They still don’t know what will happen if SJ meets YQY, so SY continues to front as SJ for now.
But during this conversation, something changes. Maybe YQY says something, but SJ realizes he’s actually a little willing to take this chance. If Qi-ge does disappear—easy, he’d just kill himself right after. He’d already experienced Qi-ge’s death twice before, and at least this time, he can follow, knowing he’s at least reconciled with Qi-ge through SY.
And if he disappears on his own, then at least he knows there’s a world in which Qi-ge does not die horribly. That’s enough for him.
That, however, leaves the very last possibility—that SY will disappear. At this point both LQG and LBH have figured this out, and are very, very reluctant to let this be the scenario. They don’t see it as two people, they see it as their version of SQQ vs. YQY’s version of SQQ.
So there’s a little tension, but in the end, SY gets the final choice. As soon as he learns SJ is willing to go see YQY, he chooses that path. He simply owes qijiu too much to deny them the possibility of reconciliation. So despite knowing he might disappear from Binghe and LQG’s life, he makes it happen.
(They should get a very painful goodbye scene.)
SY goes out to explain things. “Zhangmen-shixiong may have noticed my change since my qi deviation and the spirit caves.” “I’m happy Xiao Jiu has a brighter outlook on life.” “Yes, but I think Qi-ge, of all people, might actually prefer how I was before, right?” “If Xiao Jiu’s happy, I’m happy.” “Yes, but Shen Jiu wants you. Is that alright?” “—of course. I want Xiao Jiu too—”
SJ comes out. Everyone holds their breath.
Scene cut.
It’s said that Cang Qiong’s Sect Leader Yue Qingyuan disappeared suddenly one afternoon...
But jk, YQY just ran away with SJ, they’re recuperating in the mountains and everybody’s fine and it’s a happy ending.

Still finishing old stuff. Have some reverse sex pollen.
Luo Binghe is crying and Shen Qingqiu can’t even comfort him. “Your husband isn’t mad. Mu-shidi said the effects would disappear by themselves in two weeks. We’ve been apart longer. It will be fine.”
Between sobs, Luo Binghe tries to speak. “It’s not the same! “
Of course it’s not the same, but they’ve been caught in much worse predicaments before. “Binghe is strong. He can handle it. Would it be easier on him if he returned to the demon realm and I remained at the sect by myself?”
“No! If I can’t even touch my husband, I at least want him by my side.”
“Then, this is where this master shall remain.”
Binghe reaches for him, and like all times before, he flinches in revulsion as soon as his hand brushes against Shen Qingqiu’s skin.
He starts crying even harder. “What if Shizun starts thinking I don’t love him anymore?”
Shen Qingqiu taps him with his fan. As long as their skin doesn’t touch, Binghe should be fine. “Where did he get the idea this master was this stupid? Luo Binghe has been poisoned. Of course I understand it’s not his fault.”
Luo Binghe sniffles. “Shizun doesn’t mind?”
Shen Qingqiu will never tell him he might be looking forward to two whole weeks of undisturbed rest. Sure, he’ll probably miss more casual forms of affection, but he’s pretty certain it won’t be anywhere near as hard for him as it will be for Luo Binghe. “I don’t. We’ll get through this.”
Luo Binghe wipes his eyes in a frustrated gesture. “If Shizun says so, it must be true.”
_____________
Shen Qingqiu never realised how often he actually touched his husband until he has to stop himself from doing it. Two days in, and the way Luo Binghe recoils when Shen Qingqiu forgets himself is already getting on his nerves.
It’s just that Shen Qingqiu always touched Luo Binghe. Redressing his clothes, arranging his hair, patting his shoulders. He always did it without thinking twice about it. He can’t remember how often he wiped tears off his weepy eyes.
Now all of this is forbidden to him.
It’s annoying.
_____________
Five days in, and Shen Qingqiu finds his gaze lingering on his husband. He has to shake himself away from his plush lips, his muscled frame, his large hands.
He’s being ridiculous and he knows it. Luo Binghe is the sticky one! It’s only been a few days. And his disciple is right here! He can talk with him whenever he wants. It should be more than enough.
He thought Luo Binghe would whine more. He thought he would keep on crying, lamenting that it’s a crime that he can’t have his husband. He thought Luo Binghe would be the one to snatch his hand back in dismay.
He was wrong. Luo Binghe is dealing with their situation much better than he expected. In fact, he seems content with their platonic cohabitation. He cooks for Shen Qingqiu like he always does, cleans around the house, chats with him happily.
Maybe he should have expected it. After all, his husband is the one whose desire for touch has been annihilated.
But surely he must feel lonely when he goes to bed in his childhood bedroom?
Shen Qingqiu does. His bed is cold without Luo Binghe to exude warmth.
He spends a lot of time cultivating.
_____________
There’s only two days left.
Shen Qingqiu can’t wait.
As much as it pains him to admit it, Luo Binghe trained him well. He’s used to sating the protagonist’s needs. He went so far as thinking about just… taking care of things quickly to help.
He didn’t, because he knows Luo Binghe would find out and tease him mercilessly after. Also, there’s two days left. He can take it.
Anyway, it wouldn’t help. Not really. Not when what Shen Qingqiu really misses is his husband.
_____________
One measly day before the poison is set to pass, Shang Qinghua shows up frazzled, carrying a message from Mobei-Jun demanding Luo Binghe’s urgent return to put down a revolt in the southern part of the realm.
Shen Qingqiu resolves to spend all his time until Luo Binghe returns filling out requests for funds, food, instruments, practise swords, ink and everything else he can think of to burrow Shang Qinghua under paperwork. If Shen Qingqiu is going to be separated from his husband, so can Airplane-bro. Let him taste how fun that is for himself.
_____________
Shen Qingqiu accepts Liu Qingge’s invite to go monster hunting without a second thought.
He needs to kill something.
_____________
“Shizun, I’m ba-“
At the moment, Shen Qingqiu couldn’t care less what Luo Binghe has to say. It can fucking wait until after he has reacquainted himself with the feel of his husband’s skin.
_____________
“Maybe I should get some of that poison for further use.”
Shen Qingqiu freezes. “No.” He’s not going through that hell again, not if he can help it.
“But Shizun was so affectionate after! It almost made up for all the time I couldn’t touch him.”
If Shen Qingqiu had any energy left, he would slap him. “Maybe it was simple for Binghe since he didn’t want to touch his husband, but not being able to slap some sense into his disciple wasn’t easy for this master.”
Luo Binghe straightens up beside him. “Shizun! How could you think that! Of course having to restrain myself was a challenge like no other. Even if I didn’t want to, I still wanted to.”
“Well, it didn’t look like it.”
Luo Binghe pulls Shen Qingqiu’s body into his. “Apologies to Shizun for having neglected him. Now that I am aware of how unpleasant this was for him, this disciple will make certain it never happens again, as long as Shizun promises the same to him. If I were the one Shizun couldn’t handle touching, I could never bear it with as much grace as he did.”
Shen Qingqiu has no desire for any version of this shitty event to happen again. “Fine. This master promises. Binghe has better keep his word.”
Luo Binghe turns Shen Qingqiu toward him and kisses him until the frown still lingering on his face fades. “Shizun apparently isn’t convinced his husband missed him.” His hand slides down the line of his back. “Can this disciple request permission to try and convince him otherwise?”
Encouraging Luo Binghe when he’s like this is the kind of choice that leads to Shen Qingqiu sequestering himself in his bed all day tomorrow. “You can try. It won’t be easy though.” It doesn’t matter much, since Binghe is back. His husband will relish the excuse to wait on him hand and foot.
“Thanking Shizun for his graciousness.”

Eyes On Me ✰ BingQiu
Fandom: The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System
Pairing: Luo Binghe x Shen Qingqiu
Genre: fluffy fluff
Word count: 1205
Summary: "I can’t look into your eyes! Your stupid protagonist magic makes my heart beat out of my chest, it’s totally not good for my health! One look and I’m dead. Why would I willingly look into your eyes, huh, to fall for you even more?! Keep dreaming... " In which Shen Qingqiu tries his absolute best to hold eye contact with Luo Binghe for 10 seconds. As always, even if it's a truly difficult task, there's nothing kisses can't solve.
About an hour passed and Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe were still intently staring into each other’s eyes. No words left their mouths but the way Luo Binghe occasionally raised an eyebrow and Shen Qingqiu’s eyes twitched was more than enough communication.
“Shizun, it’s okay to give up,” Luo Binghe suggested, mild concern straining his voice.
Shen Qingqiu snapped, “Never! This master is going to succeed even if it’s the last thing I do!”
Luo Binghe sighed and kept staring ahead, his bright eyes twinkling with happiness. Shen Qingqiu frowned in irritation but didn’t look away. He was not going to lose face in front of Luo Binghe, not ever again!
Everything started a little more than an hour ago when Luo Binghe pointed out something.
“Shizun, how come you never look me in the eyes?”
Shen Qingqiu, of course, immediately denied the accusation. “That’s not true!”
“It is! You always look at Liu...shishu and the other disciples in the eyes when you talk with them but when it’s me, you always look somewhere else or hide behind your fan,” Luo Binghe whined, getting more and more upset as he surely remembered these occasions he had just described.
Shen Qingqiu felt wronged. It’s exactly because it’s you that I can’t look into your eyes! Your stupid protagonist magic makes my heart beat out of my chest, it’s totally not good for my health! One look and I’m dead. Why would I willingly look into your eyes, huh, to fall for you even more?! Keep dreaming...
“I do look at you or else how would I know how often your eyes get teary,” he answered calmly, consoling Luo Binghe.
Who would have thought that this was not going to work today. Luo Binghe, with the aforementioned tears welling up in the corner of his eyes gave him his best puppy look, his lips trembling, “Then look into my eyes just for ten seconds.”
“Is it really so important to you?”
“Of course it is! I want Shizun to only look at me but it seems like you’re willing to look at everyone else but me... Do you even love me?”
There it was. The magic words that made Shen Qingqiu drop everything and do anything Luo Binghe wished him to do. Maybe it was because of all the years that Shen Qingqiu had wronged him and the tragic result of it that almost ended up destroying the world but now he absolutely couldn’t take it when someone – especially the man himself questioned his love for Luo Binghe. He loved this demon king more than his heart could take it and he wouldn’t be satisfied unless everyone clearly knew that fact and nobody dared to question it anymore.
Shen Qingqiu grabbed Luo Binghe’s face and pulled him closer, saying in a small voice, “I do... just ten seconds, okay?”
“...Okay,” Luo Binghe nodded, looking back at Shen Qingqiu expectantly. However, that look quickly changed to one of disappointment when Shen Qingqiu turned away after only four seconds.
Shen Qingqiu calmed his loudly thumping heart and risked a glance back. Luo Binghe looked like a kicked puppy, no doubt, already trying to accept that no matter what, his Shizun just cannot bare to look at him, totally misunderstanding everything.
Shen Qingqiu steeled his resolve and grabbed Luo Binghe’s face again. The same thing happened.
Damn this fucking protagonist’s halo! Can it not blind me for ten seconds? Binghe, my dear, you really don’t want to make this easy on me, do you...?
The same process repeated a few more times, leaving Shen Qingqiu completely exhausted for nothing. It was as if he tried to look at the sun directly, without any protection. One can’t expect you to just stare at the sun! It was ridiculous! What if he goes blind? Or worse, what if his heart just bursts from all these annoying feelings he can’t help having?
Several methods were tried for Shen Qingqiu to complete his ten seconds mission while Luo Binghe stayed seated patiently, growing somewhat concerned. Of course, he could see how hard his Shizun was trying to complete his request and the intention was enough to warm his heart. He wouldn’t want to force him to something he wasn’t comfortable with doing. That was why he suggested giving up after an hour passed but Shen Qingqiu was resolute and way too stubborn. He had been challenged and he would be damned if he couldn’t complete such a simple task.
He! Will! Succeed! Looking! Into! His! Boyfriend’s! Extremely! Beautiful! Eyes! For! Ten! Fucking! Seconds!
“Then how about Shizun gives me a kiss every time you fail?” Luo Binghe suggested. He thought that this could make the game a bit more interesting and even if Shen Qingqiu failed, instead of feeling that small sting of disappointment, he would get a kiss to make it up to him.
However, Shen Qingqiu frowned, “Why would you think that kissing you counts as a punishment for me?”
“I mean... Shizun sometimes makes it look like one...”
Shen Qingqiu grabbed Luo Binghe’s face again and pulled him into a kiss. It was a messy one but it still lasted for definitely more than ten seconds. They only pulled away after there was no air left in their lungs and even then, they pulled away very reluctantly. It was a rare occurrence when Shen Qingqiu made the first move and Luo Binghe’s heart was soaring with happiness.
“Cheeky brat...” Shen Qingqiu panted, staring into Luo Binghe’s eyes. “You think you can... talk to me like that... I’ll show you...
Luo Binghe cut him off, announcing excitedly, “Congratulations, Shizun! You made eye contact with me for fifteen seconds!”
“...Did I? Huh, I mean, I sure did! See, I can do it anytime!”
“Thank you, Shizun,” Luo Binghe pressed a soft kiss on Shen Qingqiu’s forehead and hugged him close. Shen Qingqiu automatically nuzzled his face into Luo Binghe’s chest, letting out a long breath.
“This is such a stupid thing...” he rambled. “Who would be able to stare into your eyes... have you seen your eyes...?”
“I-is there something wrong with my eyes?”
“Idiot, I’m telling you your eyes are too pretty.”
“Oh. Shizun’s eyes are pretty too.”
“Sweet talker... Anyways, I will make an effort to look into your eyes more often from now on. Satisfied?”
“Very much,” Luo Binghe sighed and made the both of them fell backwards on the bed. He adjusted his hold on Shen Qingqiu to a comfortable position and kept cuddling. “Shizun better keep his eyes on me and only me.”
“Yeah, yeah. I see you even in my dreams, how could I ever look at anyone else...”
Luo Binghe grinned, obviously very satisfied with himself. “Good. I promise to only look at Shizun too.”
“You better,” Shen Qingqiu mumbled, barely audible as he clutched Luo Binghe’s robes more tightly. A thought sprouting in his mind: he better keep his eyes on this demon king. Who knows when would someone appear to steal him away, leaving him all alone?
This, he knew, was almost impossible but one could never be too careful, right? Just keeping his eyes on him a little more wouldn’t hurt anyways...

Bingqiu Touch AU
If someone touches you and they care for you, that initial touch leaves color on your skin like a mark to show that your loved by them.
Og!sqq, jealous of how loved and naturally skilled at cultivation binghe is, curses him as a child so that his marks never show up and Binghe feels as unloved as he does.
Transmigrated!sqq doesn’t realize/remember this and just assumes that the marks don’t show up bc of Binghes demon blood. Binghe doesn’t realize this and believes that no one loves him. Since touch is so important, people avoid touching others directly, skin to skin, to avoid marking someone without their permission. It’s easy for sqq to avoid touching any of his disciples and Binghe believes his Shizun cares for him only for him to realize that’s not true when he touches sqq right before he throws him into the abyss.
Fast forward to canon happening and Binghe, after talking to sqq about it, believes that his demon blood has been stopping the marks from showing and while he still has doubts sometimes about his Shizun loving him, he believes that he does. One day, binghe sees a bright blue mark on mbj arm and finds out that the marks can show up for demons, they just never did for him.
Then some misunderstanding and confusion and self doubt that Sqq actually loves binghe and binghe hurt and confused bc maybe Shizun doesn’t love a monster like him. Sqq somehow finds out/remembers that the og!Sqq cursed binghe and tries his hardest to undo the curse and ends up needing some help but eventually he’s able to break it.

While they were in the burial mounds, A-Yuan would have nightmares about the labor camp and sleeping with wwx would help him calm down and feel safe. Wq ends up teaching him how to hear and check for a persons heartbeat so when he wakes up scared, he climbs into bed with wwx and presses his head against wwx’s chest and arms his tiny fingers around his wrist. He always feels safer and warmer when he hears wwx heartbeats and lets it lull him to sleep.
After wwx dies and he goes to stay with lwj, he starts to do it with lwj too. He knows he’s safe in cloud recesses but he’s still scared of being left behind and forgotten and his nightmares are still there even if he doesn’t remember them when he wakes up. Since A-Yuan can’t put his head on lwj’s chest he puts his ears as close as he can to lwj’s face to hear his breathing and keeps his hand around his wrist and only goes to sleep when he can clearly hear him breathing. It’s not the same as it was with wwx but it makes him feel just as safe and warm and cared for.
LWJ is awake and aware but he’s not going to scare him away bc if he’s being completely honest with himself, it helps him too. He feels like he has a reason to live bc here’s this tiny human that cares so much for him and is the only piece he has left of wwx

I previously sent this as an anonymous ask to @/stiltonbasket so you may have seen this before. I decided that since I (unfortunately 😔) have no motivation to write, I may as well just post it here along with my other AUs. Enjoy!———————————————————————
I was thinking of water spirit wwx and earth spirit lwj. Lwj meets wwx on one of his rounds as hes checking the gentian flowers that grow by wwx's lake. They keep meeting and slowly fall in love. As a water spirit, wwx hibernates during the winter when his lake freezes over and when the ice melts, he wakes up. Lwj makes rounds to check up on the animals and plants that grow during the winter and always checks to see if the ice has melted.
One year, the ice doesn’t melt and winter stays. No matter how many times lwj checks and how hard he tries, the ice doesn’t break and wwx remains stuck under the ice, asleep. Years pass and there is no sign of winter leaving and ice thawing, but lwj comes as often as he can to see if he can thaw the ice and get his love back. He searches everywhere for a way to stop the endless winter but no one knows why the winter won’t go away.
Eventually he learns that the spirits in charge of the change of the seasons, have decided to keep the world in everlasting winter, hoarding all the warmth and beauty of spring. Lwj and the other spirit clans decide to come together and fight the wens to break the cold and harsh winter they’ve lived in for the past 10 years. After the war is won, lwj rushes back to wwx’s lake to see if the lake has thawed. Bc the winter has been so cold and long, the lake had grown colder and the ice thicker.
The ice is still frozen over. Lwj is devastated and so so desperate. He wants his love back, the one spirit he wants to see the most in the world and he’s stuck under thick ice that shows no sign of thawing soon. He sits there and cries, digging his hands in the dirt, wanting to scream at the world at how unfair it is, at how much it hurts. He doesn’t know how long he sits there by the lake, but he feels something brush against his leg.
He looks down and sees a squirrel, a sign that spring is coming back. Lwj feels hope blooming in his chest. If the animals are waking and coming back, the lake with thaw soon too. He just needs to wait a little longer. With the war over, spring returning, and hope flaring in his chest, lwj sets about doing is usual duties, coming by every time he can to check on the progress of the lake.
For the first year or two, he remains disappointed, but one day he hears a song coming from the direction of his love’s lake. He runs as fast as he can and sees his beautiful wei ying sitting in the water by the gentians singing the song lwj sang for him all those years ago. “Wei Ying,” lwj breathes out, almost crying from the joy of seeing his love again. Wwx looks up when he hears him and grins “Miss me, Lan Zhan?”

Immortal Wenzhou living for centuries up in the mountains and only coming down every once in a while to keep up to date on what’s going on in the world. Zzs doesn’t really like to leave the mountain as he’s not fond of crowds and the stares he gets when he goes down (he thinks it’s bc of the clothes. It’s not. It’s bc he’s gorgeous). Every time wkx goes down by himself, he ends up coming back with a bunch of things they don’t need (“A-xu! Look! They call it a phone. It’s a device they made to talk to other people across long distances.” “Lao wen. What do we need that for? Who else am I going to talk to but you?”). As exasperated as zzs acts he can’t help but be endeared at wkx excitment of the world outside the bubble they’ve lived in for so long. One day wkx goes down and doesn’t come back for hours. Zzs is worried and goes after him. He finds him sitting in a restaurant with a dirty, scrawny little girl at his side. When he comes closer (“Lao wen?”), wkx turns to him with tears in his eyes (“I finally found her. A-Xiang”).

A soulmate au where your born with these tattoo like marks on your body and they animate when you touch your soulmate. Lwj has gentians on his collarbones. They haven’t bloomed and have remained closed buds his whole life. Wwx has 2/3 bunnies on his shoulder. They meet when wwx is running late to his class and runs head first into lwj, who is his TA for different class. As soon as they touch, lwj's gentians bloom and wwx’s bunnies start running down his arm.
The tattoos only move when you’re touching your soulmate so lwj’s gentians bloom every time wangxian touch or maybe it’s more of a proximity thing after the first time they touch so for example lwj’s bloom when they’re close by and stay bloomed until wwx is further away or something.
Maybe the tattoos are decided by something that they form a strong connection to when they’re younger. So it changes constantly until they’re maybe 3 or 5 and then it settles into something that represents them or something. I mean it could be depressing but I feel like if they’re depressed maybe their tattoo ends up being something that they long for (which is also sad lol). Like for example Xue Yangs tattoo ends up being candy bc that’s something he’s always wanted and represents the whole living on the street thing
Oh! What if wwx tattoo ends up being a dog bc of when he was living on the street? Can you imagine how much he would hate the tattoo? When he’s old enough he starts to get tattoos on top to hide it but it doesn’t work bc they fade eventually and never stay permanently there. He starts wearing shirts to hide his shoulder and never changes in front of a mirror. Maybe he also puts bandages on top and pretends like it’s an injury sometimes when he knows he can’t hide it. Maybe it morphs bc he starts spending time at a bunny cafe bc it helps him with his anxiety bc there’s something relaxing about petting and holding bunnies. He sees lwj there all the time but they never talk or go near each other. He’s slowly building this connection to bunnies bc they help him feel better and he subconsciously associates them with lwj (who he calls cute bunny guy in his head)y

OP!Anon for Leverage!HX/LQG: *SCREAM* oh I adore how you wrote this - HX is so good at reading everyone and understanding how to motivate/manipulate them, except for lqg. I love how angry he got at the idea of lqg seeing him in the same light as swd, and also how lqg's just like, yep, swd's gotta die when he heard the full story. I love the idea of HC coming in like the king he is and laying down the law about XL. ahhhhhhh!!!! just imagining hx and lqg getting close after lots of shenanigans!
teamwork baby
"Xue Yang must die" is literally one of my favorite WWX quotes of all time LMFAO time to pay homage
so you know how in book 3, during the Black Water arc, HX is there trying to push his whole scheme forward? It's well-timed, well-thought-out, but the only fucking spanner that keeps jumping back into his work is XL-and-therefore-HC? Yeah I imagine working with grifter!HC is pretty much like that. He's always late or never shows up at all to briefings, or he shows up to the very end to hear the conclusion and goes "Nope, that's fucking stupid, change it." SQQ's like "Why??" and HC's like "oh, lil boy can't figure it out?"
and whenever they have an actual plan going, HC sometimes just shows up and starts doing his own thing in the middle and forces HX to keep up. This is often motivated by one of XL's jobs, and XL would ask if HC knows a little piece of intel, and HC would be like "oh you know what, I actually have a hostage right here to ask about that, one moment please :)" and utterly prioritize XL's thing. HX has to change the job on the fly so many times, and it's so fucking annoying, but it's not like HC leaves him at a dead end, so he always does find a way out.
(this got fucking long, but HX/LQG under the cut)
Bingliushen are also annoyed as fuck, but while they're godtier at their own things, none of them are mastermind-level (yet—Binghe's gonna get there, isn't he), so they just have to put their faith in HX and keep chugging forward. This is how the foundation builds, y'know? HX insists to both others and himself that he's being honest and faithful to his team because that's just the best way to handle them, not 'cause he's actually a team player and not 'cause he cares for anybody at all. And LQG's a simple guy—you save my life, I'll save yours. You act in good faith, I'll be loyal in turn.
It starts with something small. HX's suffered tremendous loss, and has been on his own for a very, very long time. He's used to taking care of himself, but we all know LQG's love language is "here, you dropped this. I've been quietly paying attention to everything you like and do, no big deal." So maybe it happens on a mission. HC has three marks to dupe in succession, and they're playing a nasty Big Pharma group, so it's hitting close to home for HX. At the last minute though, HC says over the comm, "the CEO & CFO made me. Must've recognized me from speaking to the secretary earlier. He Xuan."
"Can you still do the COO?"
"I'm not about to waste this outfit, am I."
and HX has to hop in and do 2/3rds of the grifting himself, which is fine, he's completely capable of this, he's a goddamn prodigy at hiding his murderous tendencies. but out of nowhere LQG is on the line, "Shen Qingqiu, you said you can hack the finances, right?"
"Yes, but nothing else."
"Then He Xuan doesn't have to talk to the CFO. Give me 2 minutes, I'll knock him out."
and HX doesn't stop him because sure, why not? It was more efficient for HC to do three of them at once, but now that it was HX doing it (and HX still has his own part to play), it would save them more effort if LQG goes for the blunt force solution. But it rubs HX the wrong way—what the fuck? Yeah, HX may not like grifting as much as HC, the stupid drama queen, but hasn't he proven himself every bit as capable of it? Why did LQG think it necessary to, what, bail him out?
So that night, after debrief, HX pulls LQG aside to give him a piece of his mind. "Don't ever try to override my judgment again." "What are you talking about?" "I made a call, I did not need your 'help' on the grift." "That wasn't help." "Then what was it." "You hate talking to guys like that!" "???" "You didn't need to talk to him, and I was right there. It was the obvious thing to do."
and HX still doesn't get it, not until the next day, when SQQ and HX are quietly setting up for the morning, and SQQ says out of the blue, "that's just how he cares. Liu Qingge, I mean. It's never an ego thing once he's your friend."
"I don't need friends," is HX's automatic response.
"No," SQQ snorts in agreement. "You need revenge. That's fine. Then I'm sure he'll get over it."
Which—okay—no? Bastard. That's just a passive aggressive attempt at a guilt trip, and it's not going to work. HX has already made it abundantly clear from the get-go that this was simply a job, he was the pointman, once they were done everybody will go on their way. It's not his fault SQQ dragged in a hitman with the loyalty instincts of a german shepherd, and it's certainly none of his business whether LQG treats him as friend or a colleague.
LQG will just have to be disappointed.
BUT OF COURSE WHAT GOES ON TO HAPPEN IS THAT HX sees more and more of the things LQG does, the ways LQG manages to be thoughtful. The way LQG handles visitors during HX’s mealtimes despite how much LQG hates talking to randos, bc HX has bad food days and can’t really stand eating with others. The time they had some time to kill undercover in a consultant’s office, and HX passed the time by pointing out all the things wrong with the office’s mini-aquarium set-up, so when SQQ brought up something inane about decorating their headquarters, LQG made HX draw up specs for a saltwater tank of their own. HX and everybody else kept insisting it was a waste of time, but LQG still went ahead and got it made anyways, and now it’s HX’s favorite thing in the entire HQ.
But HX wasn’t about to owe anybody anything. If LQG insists on this game, then fine, HX was going to play to win. He requisitions new toys (read: weapons) for LQG, he builds heists around the sole purpose of giving LQG a room of satisfying bad guys to beat up, he goes to the gym and spars with LQG, he even tries to give LQG’s weirdly famous younger sister’s novel a read—which was a lot. Ahem. But LQG loves his younger sister, so surely this would be the ultimate “hah! I’ve given you more than you’ve given me! I win! move.
...turns out LQG’s never read the damn thing, and just takes everything HX gives him in total stride. “We still on for tomorrow?” “...Yes.” “Cool. See you.” And HX’s over here totally overthinking EVERYTHING while LQG’s just chilling, super matter-of-fact.
Fuck, were they friends???
HX rage-panics, because he does. not. need. friends. And it has nothing to do with how everyone he’s ever loved dies, it has nothing to do with the careful balance of vengeful fury and self-hatred inside him that’s about to tip over any day now, once they take down SWD. It has nothing to do with HX being too traumatized and grief-stricken to imagine moving on from revenge, to ever imagine being simply content again.
His eating habits get worse. One day he snaps at LQG for pining so much after SQQ. “You already know he’s never going to return your feelings. It’s embarrassing to watch you insist on giving so much when he’s not going to give anything back.”
“Shut up,” LQG snaps, “it’s not about getting anything back.”
But that makes it worse. Of course HX wasn’t actually talking about SQQ, though sure, that’s annoying too. LBh obviously knows, so why can’t they take their infernal flirting somewhere private, instead of flaunting it in front of LQG all the time?? But the fault’s with LQG too, what with all the giving. He should find someone more worthy of his affections and stop wasting his time here.
HX cuts everything he and LQG has built up in one fell swoop—completely gives him the cold shoulder. Only ever talks about work, no more dry quips, no more infodumps on niche hobbies. HX wishes he could destroy the tank at HQ, but that would be way too confrontational at this stage.
Until one mission, when LQG knows HX is not in a good place, and keeps trying to argue HX out of doing something excessively risky. HX rounds on him and says, “you’re just a hired gun, so shut up and shoot where I'm pointing, or you can pack your things and get out.”
LQG goes red, then white, and storms away.
“Nice sucker punch,” HC comments idly where he’s lounging on the side. Who knows when the fuck he showed up. “Right where it hurts.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Don’t tell me you don’t know. His five-year stint with the Sha City Demons?”
Of course HX knows about that. He’s looked thoroughly into everybody’s backgrounds. But what does that have to do with this?
“Gege is the best at this, after all. See you and I, we stopped asking questions once we knew the name, because we don’t think people are ever as pure and good as they pretend to be. But you know what Dianxia said, after I mentioned Liu Qingge’s old gig to him? ‘Five years, hm? I wonder what they had on him. In my experience, men like Liu Qingge don’t work for crews like the Sha Demons. And in order to sink their claws deeper into men like him, the Demons always make them do the worst jobs.’ Just a hired gun indeed.”
That’s right. LQG gets a Moreau backstory of his own. HX feels his heart sink to the pit of his stomach.
“Fuck.”
“I don’t know why you’re so stressed out about it. He is just a hired gun—”
“You know why. Fuck.”
“So get out of my face and do something about it already. You know where he’s gone, I know you’ve put trackers on your entire team.”
“...”
“You didn’t? No, you didn’t put one on him? My god, you do care.”
While HC’s busy sounding disgusted, HX is reeling. He just sent the best hitman in the field packing, and was an absolute dick about it. He was not a kind man, but he also wasn’t a cruel one. He believes in fairness, and everything he said simply had not been fair. It had all been his own guilt and issues talking; if he really didn’t give a damn, then he wouldn’t have...done all this.
“How much are you willing to pay?” HC says, swiping at his phone.
“What?”
“Because I don’t trust any of you, and did put a tracking device on Liu Qingge.” He sure has—HC is waving the loading tracking app in HX’s face. “So I’m asking, how much are you willing to pay?”
...And that’s the reason why HX owes HC so much damn money.

I was working on the next chapter of the Shen Yuan soulmate AU, I swear, but somehow it turned into sad cheating porn? NTR really isn’t my thing, how did this happen? Anyway, here it is.
“Binghe, ah! Don’t… “
“Don’t what? Shizun seems to be enjoying himself well enough. Is there something more this disciple can do to please him?” He punctuates his word with a powerful thrust, causing Shen Qingqiu to scramble to keep his hold as it shakes his whole frame. Not that he needs to. Luo Binghe would never let him fall. He’d love to support his shizun’s weight forever. “Well?”
But to his utmost disappointment, Shen Qingqiu has now chosen silence. His perfect teeth have sunk into his plump lip to keep those irresistible sounds from escaping him. A pity. Luo Binghe loves nothing more than tearing down all of Shen Qingqiu’s walls until his usually untouchable master can’t do anything but gasp and moan for more.
He’ll have to try harder. Sadly, his current position limits his options. Not that he ever wants to stop staring at Shen Qingqiu with his legs hooked over Luo Binghe’s arms, hands grasping at his shoulders and nails digging in his back. With his head resting against the wall and his back arched to meet him, he offers himself up like the only present Luo Binghe ever desired. He chases a drop of sweat beading on his beloved’s temple and delights in how the skin under his tongue shivers. He can’t help but travel down Shizun’s face and to his elegant neck, leaving a trail of bites and kisses, careful despite himself to make them light enough that Shen Qingqiu’s cultivation will heal them before he notices.
Shen Qingqiu still tries to slap him off, but the motion is too weak to stop him or do anything for him. Instead, Luo Binghe catches his fingers with his mouth, giving each digit the attention it deserves. He worships his shizun’s hand the way he wants to worship all of him every day, all the time, timing his caresses with his thrusts.
Shizun’s erection is rubbing against his abdomen, the wetness easing the friction and no doubt tormenting them both further. Luo Binghe wishes he could wrap his hand around him and feel him warm and hard until he comes all over his chest.
Adjustments are going to have to be made. Lucky for him, Shizun can be quite flexible when given the right motivation. “Shizun, let go of me for a moment. This disciple wants to make sure you’ll have the best experience. Don’t worry, I promise I won’t let you fall.”
“Binghe, what… Ah! Binghe!”
Quickly, before he can protest, Luo Binghe slides his hands under his master’s soft thighs and up his legs until he has a good grip, and rests them on his shoulders. This way, Shen Qingqiu is folded in half, caught between the wall and Luo Binghe, nothing separating them. Binghe holds Shen Qingqiu’s weight with the strength of his waist and one of his arms under him, the other one finding his way between the tight press of their bodies to reach Shen Qingqiu’s straining cock. It only takes the touch of his thumb rubbing against the head and a few strokes for his master to come wet and hot against his stomach. Luo Binghe feels him tightens around him, hears his shizun’s ragged voice call his name, and while he could do this for much longer if given the luxury, he wasn’t, so he focuses on what he has now and starts fucking him fast, to finish before it becomes too much for Shen Qingqiu to handle. For now, Shen Qingqiu is still welcoming him, enticing him even with soft whimpers and fast pants just by his ear.
Luo Binghe pushes in again and again until everything that is his master overwhelms him.
Nothing compares to the feeling of spilling inside Shen Qingqiu. He wishes he could do this every day. He wishes he could keep Shen Qingqiu always full of himself, always aware of him no matter what he did.
He wishes Shen Qingqiu was his.
After he calms down and pulls out gently, Luo Binghe carries Shen Qingqiu’s exhausted body to his bed and goes to fetch what he needs to clean his master up. No traces of their tryst can remain.
Removing all the proofs of his presence kills him a little every time. Soon, he’ll arrange a mission for Shen Qingqiu via intermediaries, a mission than won’t exist, and while everyone will think he’s fighting some monsters or saving some people, he’ll spend all his time in Luo Binghe’s room, crying from pleasure and begging never to leave.
The fresh water on his skin brings Shen Qingqiu back to reality, to Luo Binghe’s regret. Shizun is so beautiful and pliant when he’s still dazed from his orgasm. “Binghe, you know we can’t.”
Binghe doesn’t give that protest much attention. It’s always the same thing. “He won’t notice.” The man is too oblivious to realise what his lack of care has brought on himself. If Luo Binghe were the one lucky enough to call Shen Qingqiu his in public, he would never leave him alone long enough for someone else to try and stake a claim. He would make it his raison d’être to fulfill any and all of Shizun’s desires, until the mere idea of being with anyone else became ridiculous. As far as Luo Binghe is concerned, Liu Qingge brought this on himself by not being able to satisfy Shen Qingqiu.
Still, he is the man his shizun continues to proclaim he loves, and so Luo Binghe can do nothing, because every move would hurt Shen Qingqiu. Worse, what if Luo Binghe’s efforts to take Shen Qingqiu for himself turn him against his disciple? Just the thought is too much for him to handle. He’ll take these clandestine, stolen moments with Shen Qingqiu over his enmity any day. At least this way he can have some of Shizun for himself. And he’s sure a man like Liu Qingge cannot give Shen Qingqiu the kind of pleasure he himself can. He wasn’t taught the arts of love by succubi.
Shen Qingqiu sighs. “It’s not about him noticing! Binghe, this isn’t fair to him! And to you! You deserve better.”
“Shizun deserves better than a man who doesn’t even realise his lover is seeing someone else!”
Shizun stumbles as if he’d been it. “…I don’t. I don’t deserve either of you.” He starts shaking.
Luo Binghe could hit himself. This is why he didn’t want to start anything. Shizun is too kind for this sort of conflict. He always ends up blaming himself.
If Luo Binghe was a better man, he would spare the one he loves this pain. He would let him go, to be with Liu Qingge. He would be nothing more than a loyal disciple.
Luo Binghe isn’t a better man. Shen Qingqiu is the only thing he ever wanted. He will never let him go.
All he can do is hold his trembling body and wipe away his tears.
