luo bingge who expects the worst from people but shen yuan just expects the worst from bingge so shen yuan does something nice for bingge and binghe gets obsessed because this guy is suspiciously kind without wanting anything in return and tries to learn more about shen yuan but shen yuan is certain any hint of disrespect would have him beheaded by such a proud emperor (totally deserved!) so they're locked in this cycle of shen yuan laughing and smiling at others but getting quiet and formal when binghe is around -> binghe getting jealous and yelling at shen yuan -> reinforcing the idea that luo bingge is insane and snaps randomly and trying to distance himself even more -> this frustrates binghe even further
