Bruce’s face had always bewitched her. She never had the faintest clue why, until he was smiling at her fondly, pride sparkling in his eyes, a grin spreading across his lips at her jokes, his laughter her wine. 

Bruce had always mesmerized her. Not for any true reason. Not for love or lust or hate or beauty. But for longing. Because she had never really felt the feeling of family. Not until him. Until them. But he… he was family. He felt like home.

I just ate a chicken pot pie earlier for comfort food, and now I'm thinking how much I'd love to make one with Stan, and it's just quiet bonding as we prepare the dough, make the filling, and bake it together.

He is the one that gets me out of the house every once in awhile to show me off and to get me fresh air, while I get him inside, and have him all to myself doing little things together that are just sweet.
