I wanted to make a MetalCrash fanchild !! This is Handy Man (yes, pun intended), he's based off of a swiss army knife. :) Despite being the child of two Wilybots, he's surprisingly very kind and chatty <3 (He only has one hand but he's quite adept at using his corkscrew to pick up things.)

I also made a doodle of Handy Man with his two dads. Unfortunately, he is also an enjoyer of Metal's terrible puns :)

You know I misread that last ask but now I'm curious, which of the yutus look like which parent more? And what are some distinctive features some yutus have?

Well, I try to leave things like hair color/texture and skin color up to the reader. Not everyone looks like me so if I just base the way Yutu looks off of me it'd be sort of isolating I think.

There are some things I think the various Yutus would take from their parents though so make of this what you will, and do not feel bound by it if you don't like it

Heartslabyul

Riddle's Yutu is shorter than his father, I like to think he has similar facial expressions. They pout and scowl the same way. I think he would have similar strands of hair as Riddle's little antenna that behave the same way when he's animated.

Trey's triplet children are all very tall, Yushi is a head shorter than her siblings and Yutres is the tallest. The three of them all have some issues with eyesight, Yutres is as bad as her father, Yushi doesn't need glasses until she hits highschool and Yutu is able to get away with only reading glasses. I like the idea of them having darker colored hair but that's just me.

Cater! Yutu takes more after Yuu physically, but his voice sounds very similar to Cater's. They have similar laughs and smiles, maybe due to having a similar sense of humor but you suppose he wouldn't know.

Ace! Yutu... I sort of like the idea of him being a copy paste of his dad. He has Yuu's hair and skin tone, but the build, eye shape, even his nose are the spitting image of his father. Ace is super smug about it until the kid learns to talk back.

Deuce and his mom both have dark blue hair and bright blue eyes, but other than those two features I think Yutu would take after Yuu.

Savanaclaw/Octavinelle

The beast men and merfolk are a lot more complicated due to their inhuman appearances, in general I think that these Yutus would take their color schemes from the animals their fathers are based off of, but things like hair texture, body shape, and physical mannerisms would be taken from Yuu.

Leona! Yutu's hair looks more or less like a mane, and it is on the darker side similar to his father's. He is naturally tall and muscular, though how much so is dependent on Yuu.

Ruggie is smaller and has a tendency to hunch over, the same goes for his Yutu.

There are many colors of wolf, so Jack's Yutu does not need to be a carbon copy of him, but the color scheme does stick to what he would look like if he could turn into a wolf.

The twins are moray eels. There are a lot of different colors of morays, I'm particularly fond of the polkadot ones, but they both have a streak of black in their hair. I like to think that their Yutus would have a streak in their hair of Yuu's natural hair color in a similar space. I also like the idea of them inheriting their father's heterochromia, but with one eye that is the same color as Yuu's and one yellow eye.

Azul! Yutu is more or less a carbon copy of his father in his merform, but his eye color and hair texture come from Yuu. His skin color is tricky, but I would default to it being the same as Yuu's, just with an unnaturally cool purple undertone. He is bulkier and taller due to needing to maintain a degree of stamina and physical strength to use his unique magic.

Scarabia

I think Kalim's Yutu would have his eyes and hair color, but he looks a lot more like Yuu, which makes his father very happy. He has his father's laugh and smile, and he really enjoys doing both.

I like to think that Jamil's Yutu inherits his hair. He is just as obsessed with taking good care of it as his dad is, but other than that I don't have much sorry.

Pomefiore

In general I think if a character has an unnatural eye color it would trump Yuu's, so Yutu is getting those lovely lavender eyes of Vil's. I think he would also get the long lashes, but that's because I enjoy drawing those.

In Rook's case I gave both Yutu and his older brother Rook's eyes, both color and shape, because I like them but also his unique magic is related to his sight (sort of) so I like his genes being very determined to pass that feature on.

Epel's hair and eye color are both things I think would trump Yuu's, and I think he would be on the shorter side.

Ignihyde

Yahoo you know your boy has sharp teeth and that rgb enabled fire hair. I think Yutu Shroud's eyes would be yellow too, but he likes to style his hair like Yuu's it helps him feel closer to them.

Diasomnia

Malleus! Yutu does eventually grow in small horns and black scales, but his hair color is the same or similar to Yuu's. His eyes are the same as his father's and he has some sharp canines. Princess Tamago sort of looks like a clone of her dad, but she has the same skin color as Yuu. I'd like to think she has their eyes, and that this bothers certain people in the senate but filled her father with joy.

Lilia is short, his Yutu is short, they both have the same very cute eyes and little fangs. He will dye Yutu's hair fun colors when he gets older, assuming Yutu hasn't decided that's cringe.

Silver's hair is silver due to blessings from the fae, so while Yutu doesn't have that (at first) I think his son would get his eyes

Sebek's hair color and eye color are passed on to Yutu, but other than the colors he looks a lot like Yuu in a twist of fate that doesn't annoy him as much as it would have when he was young and in denial.

I think Rollo! Yutu would be very very tall and have his father's rbf. His eyes and hair color would be the same, but his facial features and mannerisms come from Yuu so he doesn't look uncannily like his father until he's much older.

Tangleburr, Deerfoot, and their Parents

EDIT 2: On 1/30/2023 This post was changed to be accurate to the current version of the rewrite.

So here they are! Lizardstripe, her mate Mudclaw (renamed to Mudfoot in my rewrite because I don’t like major characters having name repeats), Tangleburr, and Deerfoot.

So in general, I give ShadowClan cats big eyes and very long whiskers, plus a lot of facial hair. Mudfoot and Deerfoot both have a classic ‘shadowstache,‘ a bundle of short whiskers around the mouth. I also wanted Lizardstripe to have green eyes because I always see Tangleburr with that color, and she got a bit of an overbite (which Deerfoot inherited) because there’s not enough cool dentition in Warriors.

Lizardstripe

She’s very, very different from canon. Instead of being just a sour, abusive mother, Lizardstripe is one of Bluestar’s oldest friends and used to sneak out to hang out with her friend group, the Forget-Me-Nots.

Lizardstripe was the first Forget-Me-Not to die, taken out in a battle over the Mothermouth moorland, before Brokenstar took power.

She was a young mother, not ready for the experience nor particularly happy about it, but she did still love her children. When she was bored, she would go on ‘exercises‘ and bring her kittens along, resulting in them being in Yellowfang’s den a lot for scrapes and dings.

She agreed to nurse Raggedstar’s motherless son for him when he still needed milk, but didn’t raise the little guy.

Mudclaw Mudfoot

Wasn’t the best mate, but a decent father. He was particularly close to Deerfoot, passing on many of his skills.

He was one of the best builders the camp had ever seen. They used to joke that he could out-dig a badger and still come back with a rabbit. He died of greencough and general weakness during the last winter of Raggedstar’s reign, shortly after which all three of his kits started to drift apart.

Deerfoot

Inspired by a red stag, I wanted him to look noble, but not in a ThunderClan way. His brow whiskers are thick and brush back like antlers, with a big bushy ‘stache (he’s proud of it. Tangle makes fun of it) and dark paws like hooves.

While he supported Brokenstar at first, it quickly becomes clear that him and Runningnose are bending the code to fit their needs. But, he got the same smarts that his brother Runny did, and learned quickly to shut up and get sneaky. Sure, he’s loyal, sure, he follows orders... to the letter. And the rules didn’t say anything about sneaking a few mice to the exiles. Mice full of herbs. Birds full of messages. Frogs full of rebellion.

He’s principled and honorable. He can have a fair amount of the good old ShadowClan dark humor in his fangs, but he gets tired of nonsense very quickly. He honestly regrets a lot of the things he said as a kit, and gets frustrated that Tangleburr never seemed to grow out of being a bully. After one too many comments that went to far, he stopped talking to her entirely.

They had just begun to reconcile when TigerClan took power, and Tangleburr became a fast loyalist. Deerfoot organized the rebels, just as he’d done before, resisting tyranny at every step. After helping the half-Clan cats escape, he was the only one captured and put on trial. He refused to name his co-conspirators and was brutally executed.

Jaggedtooth, Mosspelt, Dawnflower, and Reedwhisker, just some of the cats who owe their lives to him.

Tangleburr

DUMB! AS!! ROCKS!!!

I needed her to look like the funny little guy she is. She’s a little fluffy. A little chunky. She’s got this little tail and these big teeth and she’s always grinning. Her whiskers twist over each other, tangling at times. Sooo many appearances of her make her brown and white so I decided she needed ALL of the colors. Heterochromia also.

“Think before you speak“ but Tangleburr has never had a thought in her life. She’s all emotion. Swat first and ask questions later. She never has a good idea of boundaries or what the appropriate thing to say is.

In contrast to Deerfoot, Tangleburr was a loud and proud supporter of Brokenstar’s leadership up to the bitter end. She was ready to take over the entire forest, with no regard for how much space ShadowClan could actually use, or the suffering of other clans. After all, they’d never have peace as long as there were borders to battle over. She happily ate up every excuse and loophole Runningnose came up with-- she felt lucky to have such a smart brother and powerful leader!

As you’d expect, this caused a lot of tension between her and Deerfoot. When he cut her off, she blamed him at first for being stuck up all the time. Later, when they reconcile, she comes to realize that she was destroying the clan she loved, and that she’d lost so many clanmates while she’d been gone. When Deerfoot died, Tangleburr was distraught and could only think to keep him alive with her actions

She started asking herself what Deerfoot would have done, letting her paws be guided by his actions. This lead to a strong connection with StarClan (for a warrior, at least) and she became a good friend of Tawnypaw’s. She’s “No good at saying good, wise stuff, but I got two ears and one mouth! If you want a listener, I mean. Yeah.”

I’ve kind of fallen in love with her. Her son is Talonclaw; being saved from the vicious kittypets to help fix the family tree.

✨Conspiracy theory/head cannon✨

Okay, so, hear me out;

Iruma Jyuto and Rei Amayado are brothers.

Think about it; Both are tall handsome men with black/brown hair and green eyes. Both dress more formally than casually. Both hold themselves in a way that shows that they think they're better than you.

More than any of that though, is that they both have a (learned or inherited) habit/skill of gaining information on any and everyone around them in order to benefit themselves. Rei does this in being a conman/information broker, with learning info on everyone he meets to get an income and pull the strings in the government. Jyuto does this by being a dirty cop and getting info from/for cases and using it as blackmail against his enemies in order to push him up the ranks and eventually pull the strings in the justice system.

While their behavior is uncanny, they're appearances are just as (if not more) surprising when you look at it in detail.

Family resemblance:

Both men have bright green eyes. Hypnosis Mic has exciting and unique character designs that are barely ever slap-dash, they're thought through thoroughly. Yet both Jyuto and Rei have green eyes that are the exact same color. The only other character in the hypmic cast (aside from the buster bros!!!) with green eyes is Yumeno Gentaro, and his are noticeably a much yellower and lighter green. Jyuto and Rei's green eyes are identical. Jyuto may not have the family heterochromia, but even if he did, he'd be the type to cover up the other side with a contact of a more mundane color (in this case, green). Moreover, the hypmic artstyle gives character's two eye colors anyway, and Jyuto's is a pink-ish purple. Aka, not any of the colors of the yamada family tree (Grey, red, yellow, and indago). All of them have a unique color to go with the green, and Jyuto follows that rule.

Admitably, Rei is tanner than Jyuto. But does that mean that we think Rei hasn't had a fake (or real) tan done recently?? Plus, Jyuto is a vampire in spirit and doesn't go outside durring the day unless the government is physically forcing him to do so. (No really, watch Rhyme Anima, the only scene he's in where it's not night or inside, is when MTC arrives at Chuuohku for the 1st drb.) Anyway, even though Jyuto is considerably paler than Rei, their undertones are the same. They both have an orange-red undertone. But this isn't an artsyle thing. For example, Aohitsugi Samatoki has a much pinker undertone and Sasara Nurude has a much more yellow undertone. It's subtle, but it's there.

Their outfits are the same color scheme: Black, white/gray, wine red, with gold accents. Jyuto wears a black suit, grey undershirt, wine red gloves and shoes with a gold watch, tie pin, and collar pin. Rei wears a black coat, white pants, a wine red shirt with gold shoes, necklace, belt, and watch. And again, both men have those bright green eyes that are the Yamada's family trademark and black/brown hair.

Jyuto can be seen in the buster bros!!!. Jyuto being Rei's brother also makes him Ichiro, Jiro, and Saburo's uncle. The rest of BB is very pale, and depending on the lighting, indistinguishable from Jyuto's skin tone. Saburo also has many similarities between himself, Rei, and Jyuto. Saburo's eye's are not quite as angular as Jyuto's, but are considerably more angler compared to his brother who have flatter eyes, (like Rei). Of course that could be from Saburo's mother, but... Throughout the manga, Saburo and Jyuto also react to problems in a very similar way, even sharing expressions to the dot in the BB & MTC+ manga.

I have more points but I will spare you, reader.

What this means:

Lulled to Sleep

A/N: Hey everyone! Here’s my late entry for @forduary Week One: Sleep. I’ve been busy and distracted throughout February so I may or may not finish the other weekly entries before the deadline. But anyhow, this takes place in the Lost and Gained AU where Ford is a parent and later grandparent. Hope you enjoy this ficlet!

“WAAAHHH!!!”

Ford jolted awake from his eyes growing heavy from drifting to sleep. 

Oh my. The boys need me. 

It was a dark, not so quiet night in Gravity Falls in June of 1976, little Tate and his newborn brother Shiloh were crying and needing attention within their shared nursery. Thankfully, Ford had been awake for some time in getting some writing done in his journal at his desk. He raised up from his seat and walked towards the nursery, and on the way, waved at a tired Fiddleford to let him know he had it covered and he could go back to bed. He wanted to make things easier on Fiddleford and Lucina both as he can run on little sleep.  

Ford opens the nursery door and sees little Tate holding onto the bars of his crib while standing and crying across from Shiloh who was also crying. Tate had six fingers on his left hand while Shiloh had six fingers on his right. Tate resembled much like his father Fiddleford, save for the brown hair, but it runs in his family as well as Ford’s. Meanwhile, Shiloh inherited Lucina’s black hair, darker skin tone and heterochromia eyes; Shiloh’s left eye was brown and his right eye blue. The room was spacious and colorful with painted depictions of the forest and animals and magical creatures. One day it was going to be both the boy’s room or until they choose to have their own rooms, respectively.

“It’s alright, boys, Dad is here.”

Ford scooped up Tate and Shiloh in his arms and checked if they needed to be fed, changed, etc before he got the boys to calm down. But they did when held in the arms of their father. He then takes a seat in the blue rocking chair in the room to rock the two boys to sleep after tending to their needs. He still finds himself amazed he’s doing something like this. Finding love. Including children in their active lives. And discovering new, wonderful and dangerous things in Gravity Falls; things he wants to share with his two boys when they’re old enough. And maybe they’ll share that love of adventure like he and Stan did long ago, before everything changed. 

Ford would sing the boys a song his mother sang to him and Stan when they were little. An old Jewish lullaby from what he remembers. He found it funny she taught him the song ‘just in case you wanted to sing it someday’ but he sees what she meant now. It made him feel closer to her somehow. Tate yawned and fell asleep and so did Shiloh in Ford’s arms. 

Ford would gently place the boys back in their respective cribs. 

“Goodnight, Tate. Goodnight, Shiloh.” Ford placed a gentle kiss upon their foreheads and faced the doorway where Lucina and Fiddleford had been watching him the whole time. He smiled at the two. “I thought you two were in bed.”

“We were waitin’ fer you. Couldn’t help but ta watch and listen; it's a very pretty song.”

“Thank you. It always helped me sleep when I was little. I’m actually sleepy from having sung it.”

Lucina and Fiddleford took Ford’s hand in each of theirs and led him to bed with them. 

“I thought it was lovely, too,” added Lucina.

Genetics Headcanons of the PMD Universe Part 1

(Okay so I really like genetics but I won’t be getting very scientific with any of this but this is very important to me for my character designs so I’m putting them out there! There will be multiple parts because there is a lot to say. There also could be potential spoilers? Maybe? The characters I mention in this are from Explorers. Either way, it’ll make more sense the more parts I talk about it)

Mystery dungeons affect every continent differently. 

The Pokemon born on them are also affected by mystery dungeons. These Pokemon have their patterns, body type, length of fur/feathers (if applicable), eyes, and other traits altered. However, none of these are absolutes. 

Other factors come into play so a Pokemon born on a continent may have different traits than what is associated with that continent. Additionally, genetic mutations are increased due to the mystery dungeons as well. 

A Pokemon’s parents are very important to their genetic makeup as well, typically determining their species and certain aspects to their colors and features. 

As an example, I’ll be talking about Guildmaster Wigglytuff and his parents.

Mama Wigglytuff is from the Mist Continent while Papa Wigglytuff is from the Water Continent. For these reasons, Mama Wigglytuff has less saturated colors and longer fur. She also has heterochromia which tends to occur more often on the Mist Continent than on any other continent. As her father was a Raichu, she has some of the coloration and traits of one.

On the other hand, Papa Wigglytuff’s parents were both Wigglytuffs. Being born on the Water Continent also made it so he had vibrant colors. He also has smoother patterns on his fur that are relatively consistent. 

Guildmaster Wigglytuff was born on the Grass Continent. This gave him floppy ears. His color is more in between his parents. While he didn’t inherit heterochromia, he does have longer fur than his father. He is more pink than both his parents due to the way the mystery dungeons affected him.

Todoroki Kids Quirk Theory

Enji Todoroki, AKA Flame Hero: Endeavor, who has a very strong fire Quirk called “Hellflame”, wishes to beat the Symbol of Peace: All Might at all costs, but he realized that his Quirk and strength alone wouldn’t be able to do that since All Might was always two steps ahead of him.

So, he decided to create the “perfect” offspring that will be able to defeat All Might in his name. A child with a devastating strong Quirk that will take the spot as Number One Hero and never let anyone take it away from them.

Enji searched for a woman with a Quirk as strong as his or that will complement it in the child, and he found one.

A woman with snowy, pure white hair with  — ironically — an ice Quirk, Rei. He saw an incredible display of said Quirk if he took the decision to make a child with her, that or her family is one of generations of strong ice-based Quirk users.

Enji then bribed Rei’s family into allowing her to marry him and create a powerful successor. And as Rei didn’t have a say in this, their Quirk Marriage set sail. And eventually they had four children, few of which we already know of, if just slightly.

And in this post, I will theorize said children’s (possible) Quirks.

(I wrote this jazz on a notebook like,, three or two years ago so I thought why not post it here as wrong as I may be with it,,,have patience fam,,)

From older to younger would be; Touya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shouto, with each of them having an age gap of 3-4 years (a bit on the fence with Touya and Fuyumi here, since we don’t know how exactly old he was, so there could be tidbits of the theory that those two are twins).

A rundown of the kids, starting with the firstborn;

Touya Todoroki

Very little is known about Touya, even simple yet crucial facts like his hair color are confusing due to the Manga and Anime adaptation. What we do know is;

He had red hair.

A fire Quirk stronger than Endeavor’s but a body that couldn’t withstand it.

He died at a very young age of either 12 or 14/15 by causes most likely related to said Quirk.

To add to his weak constitution inherited by Rei, Touya looks to be the shortest out of all his siblings, despite being the oldest. I’d also say he was he meekest of them all, if only for a few years if I go by his body language in the two (2) full images we’re given ( i.e. clinging onto natsuo’s shirt, keeping his arms close to his body, hair covering his face— namely his eyes, likely to avoid making direct eye-contact with endeavor):

I’m personally inclined to believe that he had Enji’s turquoise eyes too, seeing as either his eyes or hair seem to be a distinct telltale sign of the fiery factor of his Quirk. and then boom he had gray eyes all along,, or either sectoral-heterochromia, or central heterochromia and the manga is deceiving us

Fuyumi Todoroki

The one and only girl of the four siblings while also the second born of Enji and Rei. Like her older brother, Fuyumi’s colors (her eyes) differ from the Manga and the Anime, but since we’re following the latter’s palette...

She has gray eyes like her mother behind a pair of red glasses.

Has mostly spiky/messy white hair with red streaks.

She is a primary school teacher.

Her behavior is more like Rei’s; soft-spoken and kind.

As another color-fact, out of everyone else in the family, she’s the only to use colors related to red (any color of that palette, contrary to her younger brothers that deliberately seem to avoid anything related to that color, and so use mostly cold tones).

She can’t handle hot weather.

Her Quirk is unknown, if she even has one, but it should’ve been deemed weak or useless by Endeavor if she wasn’t put through the training Touya was, therefore becoming the first of her brothers to suffer from his neglect.

Natsuo Todoroki

Natsuo seems to be the most hellbent and prominent out of his siblings on his hate for their father, voicing his thoughts about him at any given chance, and also the one that looks closest to Rei. 

Pure snowy white hair, but spiky like Enji’s.

Gray eyes, fully resembling his mother with nothing red that could remind him of his father, unlike his frame which is bulky like Endeavor’s.

Repressed anger issues.

He feels sensitive towards warm weather.

The tallest out of all his siblings.

Funny enough, Natsuo is a combination of Rei’s looks and Enji’s muscular build. Any signs of a Quirk are unknown, but either way he was deemed useless and thrown into the burning pile along with his big sister.

Shouto Todoroki

The golden egg of the Todo Children. The one Enji could, after so much time, call his masterpiece, the perfect offspring to finally topple All Might off his high horse. Everything Touya failed to be, Shouto is. A perfect combination of both himself and Rei.

Perfectly split white and red hair.

A gray eye and distinctive turquoise eye.

Ice and fire.

Shouto’s Quirk is Half-Cold Half-Hot; allowing him to create ice and fire from his right and left side respectively. He needs the two sides of his Quirk to nullify their drawbacks; too much of the right side leads to frostbite or hypothermia, too much of the left side leads to either overheating, dehydration or self-burns.

Now that we know the Todo-kids, their personalities, and Quirk too (or lack thereof), let’s dive into theorizing of the lacking two;

Fuyumi and Natsuo   — The Flukes

Going off of appearances, I’d say Fuyumi could be the exact opposite of Touya. While having Rei’s eyes and most of her white hair, I’d say she could have her same ice Quirk but not being able to withstand it. Contrary to Touya that has Enji’s fire Quirk, but a constitution more adapt for ice.

I.e. She could create ice as strong as Rei’s, but the constitution of her body is weak and causes her to easily fall into a light to severe case of frostbite or hypothermia. Or on the other hand, she can create ice, but isn’t as strong as Rei’s, thereof a disappointment. On the third hand I just pulled out of my ass; an extremely weak fire Quirk, a constitution more suited for ice.

Natsuo is a more complicated case here. He looks nothing like Endeavor aside from his jock build, He looks like Rei down to a tee, and that makes me think of three possibilities for his Quirk.

He is resistant to ice AND fire, but isn’t able to manipulate them in any way.

He is able to resist and create ice, and seeing as he only had Rei’s part of the Quirk, labelled as an immediate failure for Endeavor.

Or the option I have no compelling argument for but I’m really bias to believe: He’s Quirkless, plain and simple. If this one’s the real deal, then it’s likely that he’d be the BIGGEST disappointment out of all the other kids to Enji. I mean, one thing is having just one side, but not having neither? In a world were 80% of the world has a Quirk as useless as it may be?? In his house??? Outrageous!

Any of these options lead to immediate alienation of his family so either is acceptable tbh.

Being able to create fire but with a constitution more adapt to ice.

Fuyumi could be/is a 100% of her parents’ 50%

Being able to create ice — that could or not be stronger than Rei’s — but having a constitution more adapt for fire. Therefore, if Endeavor ever tried to train her, she’d have no visible burn marks whatsoever.

Natsuo could be/is a 100% of his parents’ 50%

Being able to withstand fire and ice but not manipulate them in any way.

Or the unfortunate one, being part of the 20% of humanity that doesn’t have a Quirk.

Shouto is a 200% of his parents’ 100%

Being able to resist AND create both fire and ice to an extent as long as he uses one to counter the side effects of the other. I.e. using too much fire might get him a third-degree burn if his ice doesn’t cools down the effects and keeping his body temperature at bay. Having a constant balance between the two, one not being able to work fully well without the other — as much as he hates it.

I'm starting to think that Venomous and Shadowy Figure aren't twin brothers but one of them is the turbonic form of Laserblast. It's hard to say for sure which one is the turbo form because while Venomous is similar in personality to Laserblast ( Calm and collected, likes cute animals, romantically attracted to those who show strength. ) it feels like Shadowy Figure is more actively fit, carefree, goofy, and seems to genuinely care for K.O which gives him heroic traits.

I think Venomous and Shadowy Figure are brothers (maybe nottwins), and Shadowy Figure is Laserblast. However, Shadowy isn’tturbo!Laserblast. Which sounds confusing, but I’ll try to explain.

Coincidences happen all the time in real life. But OK KO isa story, and coincidences don’t happen nearly as often in stories. This storyhas only two purple snake people. Not two prominentpurple snake people, two purple snake people period. And they’re both voiced by Steven Ogg! They’re connected somehow.To fit with the show’s themes of family and identity, they’re either related orthe same person. (If someone can think of a third option that would fit, I’dlove to hear it.)

Ven and Shadowy aren’t the same person. Shadowy is veryfixated on KO and his power. Wouldn’t figuring out how to obtain it be aninteresting and complex project for Ven? But Ven had been dealing withlong-term boredom as of “Boxman Crashes”. Wouldn’t he have at least mentionedbeing frustrated at “not making progress” or being “stuck on a problem”? Thosetwo puzzle pieces don’t fit together.

Also, Shadowy Figure made a huge tactical blunder that wouldn’t have happened if he wasVenomous. When Fink was upset she couldn’t go to the party in “Villain’s Night In”, Ven apologized for disappointing her (via text, but still an apology). Every good parent knows the powerof an apology. And from a strategic standpoint, Shadowy should have apologizedfor hurting KO. I doubt he feels guilty about it, but when has the idea oflying ever stopped people like him? The second time he interacted with KO wasin “Let’s Have a Stakeout”. He acted manipulative, insulted KO, and physicallyattacked him. What if he hadn’t done that? What if he had met KO in the sewersand said, “I’m sorry”?

“KO, I’m sorry for what happened to the Plaza. If I hadknown the true extent of your power I would never have pushed you so hard inthe first place. I wanted to help you, but I wasn’t careful enough and wound uphurting you and many others instead. This is all my fault, and I am so, sosorry.”

Suddenly KO doesn’t feel quite so guilty for wrecking thePlaza, because Shadowy has taken the blame instead. Suddenly this guy isn’t anenemy, but a potential ally who just made a mistake. People forgive KO when hemakes mistakes, shouldn’t he do the same? And so what if Shadowy’s POW cardsays he’s level negative eight? KO’s card obviously isn’t accurate, so maybeShadowy’s isn’t either!

Maybe KO starts to trust Shadowy again, putting him in theideal situation to be manipulated. Carol and Gar and everyone else would thinkhis new friend was evil, so KO can’t tell them he’s visiting Shadowy. Shadowywants to fix this, so maybe it’s okay for him to take a few hair and salivasamples. Both want KO to use this power responsibly, so maybe he’d considerpracticing with it… just a little…

But Shadowy isn’t Venomous, so he messed up and none of thathappened. It would have been so cool,though.

Since Ven and Shadowy are not the same person, they must berelated. I only call them brothers for convenience, they could be cousins orsomething.

Where does Laser fit into this? Well, he’s not dead. Acharacter isn’t confirmed dead if nobody finds the body. And it doesn’t makesense for him to have said “screw this” and gone off to chill on a tropicalisland for the past six to eleven years without letting anyone know he wasokay. He must still be relevant. “Where did Laser go?” and “Where did Shadowycome from?” are questions that easily answer one another.

Both the blue and green orbs activated in the “Let’s Take aMoment” flashback. It’s possible the red orb also activated, removing Laser’spowers. Laser is clearly KO’s father. Children tend to inherit their powersfrom their parents. Shadowy wants KO’s power, but we don’t know the reason. Laserhas a reason, though. Them being the same person would fill in that blank verynicely.

While Shadowy is morecarefree and goofy than Laser, Shadowy isn’t under the pressure of Being a GoodExample, Not Disappointing Foxtail, and Not Blowing His Cover. I’m much morepolite and formal at my job than I am at home. This difference in personalitycan likely be chalked up to a difference in environment. Goofy isn’t inherentlya heroic trait either, Boxman is very goofy but he is absolutely a villain.

I don’t see any evidence for the Laser=Ven idea. While theirpersonalities are similar, it’s possible that’s just due to being raised in thesame environment. Sure, Ven has something to do with turbo power, but hisinterest in KO specifically is minimal, even though KO is apparently a sourceof it. He doesn’t seem to prioritize antagonizing KO over Rad or Enid. He hasno reason to attack the Plaza or its members other than to have fun withBoxman. We haven’t seen him interact with or comment on Carol. His opinion onP.O.I.N.T. seems to be wholly negative instead of wistful or bittersweet. Therearen’t enough strings linking the two for me to think they’re the same person.

Laserblast is Shadowy Figure, and that person is Venomous’brother. “Shadowblast” wants KO’s power so he can restore his own. But thepower he wants isn’t just turbo power. In “Boxman Crashes”, Venbecame more snakelike when he lost his temper. Ven has shapeshifting abilities,but he doesn’t use them a lot because he fights with science instead of hisbody. His brother Shadowy may have also had shapeshifting abilities. But sinceShadowy is a physical fighter, hewould have had more incentive to train and improve his powers.

Perhaps he got so good at shapeshifting he could change intoa human form?

And that is where“Laserblast” comes from. No turbo power, no two identities housed in one body,just regular-ass shapeshifting and a whole lot of lies.

KO’s eyes are typically brown (like Carol’s?), but have beenred, purple, both, or a mix when influenced by turbo power.

Maybe Shadowy hadpurple eyes and tried to change them to red to match Laser’s visor beam, butcouldn’t do it fully? Laser always hid his eyes because one was stuck atpurple. We could see this heterochromia in modern day Shadowy and that will beThe Big Reveal.

But why wouldShadowy undergo such a dramatic change for such a long period of time?

My theory is that Ven and Shadowy are from a formerlypowerful villain family. Shadowy had a mission to infiltrate P.O.I.N.T., butcouldn’t complete it because he lost his powers and permanently reverted to hisoriginal form (except possibly for his red eye). His failure disgraced thefamily. Ven often wears a hat and glasses in public and Shadowy Figure wears ahood because they don’t want to be recognized as members of the disgracedfamily.

Shadowy wants his powers back so he doesn’t have to sneakaround everywhere. Perhaps he even wants to become Laser again, to make up astory about why he was gone so long and return to his former friends. Cob knowshis family won’t take him back.

Shadowy had major shapeshifting abilities, while Carol hasnone. This gives KO minor shapeshifting abilities. Because the abilities are sominor (and possibly because he doesn’t know he has them), they only manifestwhen boosted by turbo power. We can see this in “You’re Level 100”, when KO wasusing turbo power before TKO had fully formed. His eyes, teeth, and claws areclearly different.

KO’s minor shifting powers with enough turbonic energyshould get Shadowy back to his original ability level.

“But David!” you ask. “If Shadowy’s power is onlyshapeshifting, then where does KO’s turbo power come from?”

It comes from Carol. And I know that sounds like a reach,but hear me out. Carol can mimic any combat move she sees. We see this mostoften when she copies Gar’s signature move. But it’s not your standard elbowattack- it also emits a pink energy. This suggests Carol could mimic otherenergy emitting moves.

Remember that turbo collar Ven made for Fink? It worked very well! The only reason it stopped was because it ran out of power. There weren’t any glitches or malfunctions. That means it probably isn’t the first iteration of this project. Perhaps he’s had prototypes for years and years, but hardly made useof them because he a) didn’t have a stable glorb supply, b) doesn’t dohand-to-hand combat himself, and/or c) didn’t trust anyone he might have beenworking with to use it. But he let Fink have it because she’s loyal and theynow have access to Boxman’s glorbs.

The tree under the Plaza is a source of glorbs. Presumablythere’s another one somewhere else underground, as suggested by the glorbcluster Gar sealed up in “GarQuest”. There are likely more of them scatteredacross the world. If we’ve noticedthe similarity between glorbs and the colored orbs, P.O.I.N.T. may have too.Carol’s new outfit in the “GarQuest” flashback suggests she still did somenon-secret hero work after Laser’s death, presumably until she realized she waspregnant. I think she was sent on a mission to make sure a glorb tree didn’tfall under villain control, and got in a fight when she arrived; perhapsagainst Venomous himself, perhaps against someone he used to test the collar on.If Carol fought a collar-powered villain while in a glorb-rich environment, shecould have used her ability to temporarily go turbo herself.

Which could do odd things to a fetus.

While KO has a weaker version of his father’s power, he alsohas a weaker version of his mother’s. “Copycat” becomes “Imprint”. He can copyan energy-emitting ability… but only once, and then he’s stuck with it.Normally he wouldn’t have been able to do this until after he was born, butsince he was essentially soaked inturbo power, he imprinted early.

This would explain why his standard power fist is blue- it’sthe color of a normal glorb. Only under special circumstances can he use theturbo version. It might also be why PKO’s headband and wristbands are blue.

That’s why Carol has no fucking clue what’s going on withher kid. It wasn’t a particularly memorable mission, and she was focused on hergrief. She has no reason to connect it to KO’s situation six to eleven yearslater. Maybe now that Foxtail’s done a heel face turn we can get access to someold mission files.

I’d say, “this is a bit complex for a children’s cartoon”,but Gravity Falls and Steven Universe pulled off some wild shit. It couldhappen!

This was probably way more of a reply than either of us were expecting, haha. But that’s my take on things! Y’all are welcome to bring up new evidence, alternate theories, corrections, etc.

Ridiculous ASOIAF theory: D+J=E

I wrote this for r/pureasoiaf but figured I’d post it here, too lol

Months ago I had been talking to someone on the sub about how obviously anyone could be a hidden Targaryen, including Euron. Then at 4am when I couldn't get to sleep one night wrote up most of this. Again, and I cannot emphasize this enough, I wrote this at 4am.

This theory explores Prince Duncan Targaryen (the Prince of Dragonflies) and Jenny of Oldstones as the parents of Euron Greyjoy. Or D + J = E.

How:

Prince  Duncan died at the Tragedy at Summerhaul and Jenny's fate is unknown, though it is implied she died. The event at Summerhaul was meant to bring dragons back into the world and at least two Targaryens died, if not many more.

"...the king summoned many of those closest to him to Summerhaull....It is unfortunate that the tragedy that transpired at Summerhaul left very few witnesses alive, and those who survived would not speak of it." (AWOIAF)

The  woods witch, who likely was a Child of the Forest or a close descendant of them, saw Jenny as her friend, perhaps one of her only friends.

"A woods witch?" Dany was astonished. “She  came to court with Jenny of Oldstones. A stunted thing, grotesque to look upon. A dwarf, most people said, though dear to Lady Jenny, who always claimed that she was one of the children of the forest.” (ADWD)

Knowing that Summerhaul would end in the death of Prince Duncan, the woods witch used the great magical energy of the event and the sacrifice of not just people with king's blood, but a king himself, to try to save Prince Duncan for Jenny.

However, as magic is unpredictable and weaker at the time, and hers (the magic of the Children) may be at odds with the Valyrian magic that Aegon V was attempting, instead of saving Prince Duncan and Jenny, she saved a piece of both Prince Duncan and Jenny--their unborn child.

Euron  was most likely born and/or "conceived" on Pyke, a place that is so old  no one knows who originally built it (AWOIAF) and is the location of the Seastone Chair, a throne of unknown origins made out of a mysterious oily black stone. There is magic in Pyke, magic perhaps powerful enough and unused enough to be tapped into.

As the magic of Valyria and the Children mixed, it needed an outlet, somewhere where both could exist simultaneously--such as where fire and ice can be tempered by  water.

Euron Targaryen:

Age: Euron was born sometime between 256 and 268. The Tragedy at Summerhaul was in 259.

While  we don't know Jenny's age, Duncan would have been in his late 30s and since there is no mention of her being excessively old and given the very young age of marriage for girls in Westeros, Jenny was almost certainly younger than that. Which means they were both likely capable of having children.

Appearance: Euron is referred to as pale and handsome, with dark hair.

In the official artwork of Prince Duncan, he is depicted as having inherited his mother's darker hair. And Targaryens are often considered good looking (a whole string of descriptions going back to Aegon I has them ranging from handsome to otherworldly beauties) and are associated with paler skin (a typical Valyrian feature found in Targaryens and   Velaryons).

We are never told the skin tones of the other Greyjoy brothers, which implies that Euron’s skin tone in particular has  some significance. We are also shown that almost all Greyjoys except Euron have two black eyes.

Euron also notably has one blue eye and an eye covered by a patch said to be black--Shiera Seastar, a Targaryen bastard, whose name itself means “Star of the Sea,” is one of the most famous figures in Westeros to have heterochromia, or two  different colored eyes.

Tyrion Lannister, another infamous “Hidden Targaryen,” whether from A+J or from D+D, is the other.

Personality and Interests:

Many of the people who know Euron consider him strange and mad (in basically every book he's mentioned in)--Jenny of Oldstones was considered both "strange" and called "half-mad" by the locals who knew her (AWOIAF).

She  was suspected of being a witch, put a great deal of emphasis on her First Men blood, and was good friends with that prophecy-making woods witch who became the Ghost of High Heart.

Euron dabbles in magic and is especially interested in clairvoyance, as he has consumed enough shade of the evening to stain his lips blue, a feature  found in warlocks.

Aeron and Victarion think that the blood of their parents "went bad" in Euron...but what if, in truth, he had none  of their blood at all?

"In him our father’s blood went bad.” “Our mother’s blood as well.” (AFFC)

Euron has many personality traits in common with notable Targaryens. Like   many of them, including Jaehaerys I, he believes himself to be more godlike than other men. He also is obsessed with conquering Westeros, as Aegon I and his sisters were. (AFFC)

"We are the ironborn, and once we were conquerors. Our writ ran everywhere the sound of the waves was heard....I say we take it all! I say, we take Westeros." (AFFC)

The only person in history thought to have gone to post-Doom Valyria  and survived was Aerea Targaryen (F&B), obviously someone with the blood of the dragon. But Euron supposedly also made a journey to Valyria  and came out alive, in fact in much better condition than Aerea.

But Aerea had been completely unprepared for the journey--she didn't have supplies or anything for it--whereas Euron knew where he was going and was ready for it. If having the blood of Old Valyria can keep someone from being killed in Valyria, then perhaps having that blood and being prepared, and having some knowledge of magic and the like, can have someone survive and be relatively healthy after.

Associations:

Euron is also associated with crows--he's called the "Crow's Eye" (or “Euron Croweye”) because of his black eye and in a dream of the woods witch it's thought he appears as a "drowned crow with seaweed hanging from his wings."

Brynden Rivers, a Targaryen bastard also known as  Bloodraven, was a brother of the Night's Watch, who are called crows by the free folk, and is thought to be the Three Eyed Crow that appears to Bran Stark and Jojen Reed in their dreams.

Many people theorize that Euron is a warg, which is a power associated with the Children and those First Men who interbred with them (Starks, crannogmen, etc). There are also popular theories that Euron was either a former student of  Bloodraven or has been in contact with him somehow.

If Euron is a Targaryen born into such unique circumstances, Bloodraven may have  chosen to watch him and pay greater attention to him, the way it is sometimes implied he has been watching and influencing Jon Snow (through Ghost, Mormont's raven, and other methods).

Specifically, Euron seems to talk about flying in a way that is similar to Bloodraven (and may even reference Bran's accident):

“When I was a boy, I dreamt that I could fly,” he announced. “When I woke, I  couldn’t... or so the maester said. But what if he lied?” ... "Perhaps  we can fly. All of us. How will we ever know unless we leap from some tall tower? No man ever truly knows what he can do unless he dares to leap." ... Do you dare to fly? Unless you take the leap, you’ll never know.” (AFFC)

It seemed as though he had been falling for years. Fly, a voice whispered in the darkness, but Bran did not know how to fly, so all he could do   was fall. ... “I can’t fly,” Bran said. “I can’t, I can’t …” How do you know? Have you ever tried? ... “I want to learn magic,” Bran told him. “The crow promised that I would fly.” ... “Old  Nan says the children knew the songs of the trees, that they could fly like birds and swim like fish and talk to the animals,” Bran said.   (AGOT)

Euron's personal heraldry also features crows and a red eye--Bloodraven is albino with red eyes. Almost as though he's referencing--honoring? mocking?--his some-greats uncle.

Duncan is called the Prince of Dragonflies, and dragonflies are associated with galleys (ships):

Two galleys had come out to meet them. They seemed to skim upon the water like dragonflies, their pale oars flashing. (AFFC)

Which in turn have been associated back with crows and Euron’s own ship in the same book:

The ship was Blackbird, the largest of the Watch’s galleys. (AFFC)

And  then he saw her: a single-masted galley, lean and low, with a dark red hull. Her sails, now furled, were black as a starless sky. Even at anchor Silence looked both cruel and fast. (AFFC)

Future Moves

Dragons:

Euron is, quite possibly, attacking Oldtown or has hired a Faceless Man to infiltrate The Citadel in order to claim the hidden book Blood and Fire or the Death of Dragons (too many theories/threads on this to reference any one lol).

There is a lot of speculation of  what exactly can be found in this book, but if it is magic of Old  Valyria it may specifically appeal to someone of Targaryen blood--could it, perchance, answer the question as to why the dragons died out? Could  it be used by someone with blood of the dragon to learn how to bring more dragons back? Or could it contain the horrific blood magics that might have been used to create dragonriders in the first place?

Finally, there is Jaime's dream about the deep, which many people associate with what Euron may or may not be doing:

"Below the earth his doom awaited, he knew with the certainty of dream;   something dark and terrible lurked there, something that wanted him. Beware the water, he told himself. There may be creatures living in it, hidden deeps..." "

“Tell me, Jaime. What lives here? What lives in the darkness?”

“Doom.” No bear, he knew. No lion. “Only doom.”" (TWOW)

Doom...as in the Doom of Valyria? Which could have very likely been brought on by the Valyrians themselves? If Euron is planning some large event, a Doom-level catastrophe could be it.

Or perhaps he seeks a type of dragon that even his Valyrian ancestors had not tamed, to kill krakens and torment islands, and show that even kings and gods need fear him, using the knowledge of the magic of the Iron Islands and Sunset Sea and his dragonlord blood.

Nagga had been the first sea dragon, the mightiest ever to rise from the waves. She fed on krakens and leviathans and drowned whole islands in her wrath, yet the Grey King had slain her and the Drowned God had changed her bones to stone so that men might never cease to wonder at the courage of the first of kings. Nagga’s ribs became the beams and pillars of his longhall, just as her jaws became his throne. For a thousand years and seven he reigned here, Aeron recalled. Here he took his mermaid wife and planned his wars against the Storm God. From here he ruled both stone and salt, wearing robes of woven seaweed and a tall pale crown made from Nagga’s teeth. (AFFC)

Daenerys:

Like Targaryens of the past, Euron is interested in marrying his possible-relative, Daenerys. And, contextually, they have a few things in common.

Notably, Daenerys has many dreams of flying and madness, as well.

Once  I dreamed of flying, she thought, and now I’ve flown, and dream of stealing eggs. That made her laugh. “Men are mad and gods are madder,”   she told the grass, and the grass murmured its agreement. (ADWD)

Flying, she thought. I had wings, I was flying. But it was only a dream. (AGOT)

They are both also associated with storms in the text. Daenerys is "Stormborn" and Euron is called a storm:

Aeron thought, and now the storm is coming, a storm such as these isles have never known. ... Aeron tugged his beard, and thought. I have seen the storm, and its name is Euron Crow’s Eye. (AFFC)

And as shown in the Nagga quote above, the Grey King, the early ruler of the Iron Islands and worshiper of the Drowned God, had his greatest enemy in the Storm God.

In ADWD, when Daenerys is alone, she twice specifically mentions the presence of dragonflies, the symbol of Euron’s father. Including in a possible hallucination/vision:

...all she saw was  trickling brown water … and the grass, still moving slightly. The wind, she told herself, the wind shakes the stalks and makes them sway. Only no wind was blowing. The sun was overhead, the world still and hot.  Midges swarmed in the air, and a dragonfly floated over the stream,  darting here and there. And the grass was moving when it had no cause to  move.

Euron and Daenerys are also both indirectly (or more directly, depending on one's perspective) responsible for the deaths of their older brother.

Daenerys, of course, is threatened by Viserys and then as Drogo has him killed, she watches, "curiously calm" (AGOT).

Euron  appears on the Iron Islands, despite his banishment, the very day after Balon's death. It is very likely he had a Faceless Man kill him.

"Was the storm raging when he fell?” Aeron demanded of them. “Aye,” the youth said, “it was.” “The  Storm God cast him down,” the priest announced. For a thousand thousand  years sea and sky had been at war. From the sea had come the ironborn,  and the fish that sustained them even in the depths of winter, but  storms brought only woe and grief. (AFFC)

This quote also shows a dichotomy between the sea and sky: The Iron Born are the sea, but the sky (and storms) are...something else. Euron is not of  the sea, he is of the sky. He is not a Greyjoy, he is a Targaryen.

TLDR; Since anyone can be a secret Targaryen, I posit that Euron Greyjoy, who has contextual connections to the magic of the Children and an obvious interest in Valyria, is in fact the son of Prince Duncan and Jenny of Oldstones and give a bunch of ridiculous reasons why.

Don’t fret at all, mate. Let’s see if I understood you right. Like as I see it, you said pretty much the same thing I did (?). It’s just that you chose to use different letters instead of only A’s. Using A’s was just a personal choice, not an avoidance of distinction between quirks. When I described Todoroki’s case... well here, let me just reiterate:

One way it could go is that if a child ends up being dominant homozygous (AA), then they should probably inherit “both” the quirks - and how those genes would express themselves is another point entirely. It could also happen (perhaps more rarely) with the child being heterozygous (Aa), in which one of the parent’s quirk is recessive homozygous (aa). So here are the options:

Mother: Aa

Father: Aa

Possibilities: AA (25%), Aa (50%), aa (25%)

Or:

Mother/father (vice versa): Aa, aa

Possibilities: Aa (50%), aa (50%)

In that description, for Todo’s case, the father “A” would mean Fire, and the mother “A” would mean Ice (or their aa would mean Fire/Ice on the second choice). The possibilities are the punnett square results of that. Besides that I fail to see what the argument here is, as it seems like a pretty good sum up of what I described on that meta. Like, what you said is exactly what I meant in it, so I do apologize if it wasn’t clear and made it sound like I was talking again about quirk vs no-quirk (the intention was to had moved on from the quirkless argument by this point of the meta). I tried not to say which was Todoroki’s genotype, because I wanted to leave it more open, and give more freedom for the whole thing (it had inferences and, in the end, it’s a fiction thing).

However, if you do want to get very realistic I reckon that the correct answer for Todoroki would be that he is an heterozygous (Aa). And the second option is the correct one for the parents. That’s because, as far as I know, Codominance is usually a trait observed on heterozygous. Whereas Partial Dominance is a trait usually observed in homozygous (AA/aa).

About the multiple alleles point (ABO blood type)... That’s not the direction I chose on my Meta, because I thought would make it a bit overcomplicated, and also because I didn’t think it likely that quirks have multiple alleles (which doesn’t mean is not the case). But determining factors for quirk inheritance can involve maybe more than one pair of chromosomes, as well.

I do need to disclaim that the logic I used for the meta regarding the quirk factor is the hugest leap I did, the largest inference, and it may very well be wrong (regarding the relationship between quirk, quirk factor, plus alpha. I mean, the explanation was confusing and it may be that these 3 terms are interchangeably talking about the same thing, for example. There are other hypothesis as well, but I needed to settle for one to move on with the rest of what I wanted to say).

So, Aizawa says that Erasure “doesn’t attack the quirk itself”, then proceeds to say that Plus Alpha is a mechanism added to a normal human body, and that the collection of these are called Quirk Factor. And then he says that Erasure halts the Quirk Factor. I took that to mean that he affected the response between the Plus Alpha and the Quirk. A friend interpreted it as a neurotransmitter inhibitor and I think that’s a pretty accurate metaphor to how Erasure seems to work. If my hypothesis is correct, that is.

The bullets are a whole other problem. So, in the beginning we are led to believe that they cause damage to the Quirk Factor. In Mirio’s case, a permanent one. However, we now know that Eri’s quirk is that of Rewind, not really the same thing as a quirk that erases quirks. It seems that the bullet formula is using Eri’s blood/quirk to attack specifically the Quirk Factor and Rewind only that part of the body. In theory, the same aspect can be rewinded back to before the person took the bullet. So I wouldn’t say that it’s the same as eliminating the quirk per se.

Applying my theory, it would seem that the bullets rewind the Plus Alpha mechanism to either a time in a person’s life before they developed enough to be able to use their quirks (4 years old in canon), OR to a time in evolution where the Plus Alpha did not exist yet (?). This is all highly hypothetical though, so have that in mind. I hope this answered your question XD let me know if it didn’t.

This analysis is super good and thorough!! However I’m not sure that Todoroki’s quirks is the perfect example of typical codominance. It is not just his quirk that has two expressions — his hair color and eye color do as well, and these multiple alleles at different foci are split right down his center. He could be a chimera! So, he has two completely different sets of chromosomes, not just two alleles at one foci. Chimerism has never been recorded in humans to this degree, but this is anime so!

Well yeah, but codominance is an expression on different cromossomes and in fact hair colour can have a codominance expression (and todo hair seems to be that). All in all he’s all a codominance isn’t he? I would like to point out that  heterochromia is not a result of codominance though. So have that in mind. All in all it might as well be chimerism, so I can’t say you are wrong. I mean, this is an anime afterall. I just tried to bring real world genetics to the whole thing so talking about that didn’t even cross my mind, to be perfectly honest. It is a thing to consider, of course. It’s not stated anywhere in canon that Bakugou was born out of a Quirk Marriage. Like, I use the term quirk marriage just to mean the same as quirk fusion. In canon the term “quirk marriage” means a social behaviour in which people marry just so their offspring would have their quirk combined. The fandom has been using that word to also mean a “fused quirk”, so the quirk itself is married, say. It’s just a collective choice, really. So Bakugou’s quirk is a “marriage” between his parent’s quirks, but his parent’s marriage was not a result of a quirk marriage objective (as far as we know). Two different things, then, yeah?

Request: Bts reacting to their s/o having two coloured eyes Note: My internet will still not let  me post gifs (or maybe its my computer...who knows just TECHNOLOGY PLEASE) so I will edit this and the other BTS Reacts I just finished once everything starts working again. 

Jin (Seokjin)

Jin is someone who both loves and appreciates beautiful things and would be completely infatuated with his s/o's unique eyes. Jin would be very aesthetic about it, often taking pictures in different lighting of how his love's eyes would change colors.

“If you turn your face towards the sun it almost seems like your eyes shimmer. Yah, wait I’ll take a picture to show you. Yah, yah, Jagi your eyes look like they’ve changed again. Yah, yaahhh!”

Suga (Yoongi) 

Yoongi isn't one to make a big deal over appearance based things and so probably wouldn't vocalize his admiration of his s/o's eyes. Still, since Suga is such an artist, their uniqueness would fascinate him and I can totally see him just staring at them, losing track of time while thinking of lyrics to a new song. 

“W-What did you say? Sorry I wasn’t listening. You know, Jagi, your eyes really aren’t that different. Yah ,you think you're special, Y/N? “

Rap Monster (Namjoon)

Monie would probably be the least affected by his s/o's difference. He would accept it as a biological fact that happens to many people. Sure, he would love his love's eyes and get lost in them endlessly but no more so than any particular color. Monie would just love everything about his partner and that's that. 

“It’s a condition, love. It’s called heterochromia...it’s beautiful on you but really, you could have black eyes and I would love them just the same. Your eyes are just...you.”

Jhope (Hoseok) 

Hobi would initially just be completely transfixed by a phenoma that he may not have seen very often. I could totally see JHope becoming very focused on his detail of his love, and it quickly becoming one of his favourite things. Jhope would totally be one to buy multicolored presents for his partner, insisting that they reminded of his s/o's eyes. 

“Look Jagi, I bought this bracelet when I was in Chile. It’s green and brown, just like your eyes. Then it’s like your with me always. Oh, okay, you caught me, I bought you a matching one too.” 

Jimin 

Jimin would be similar to Monie in the sense that it wouldn't affect him either way. He would love his s/o's eyes, but no more than any other part of them. ChimChim would be very protective I think, and would take any comments about the difference very seriously. I can just see him glaring at people that ever commented on their unusuality. 

“Yah..I know people are just fascinated with how beautiful you are, but do they have to stare so much? Don’t they see me here with you? Aish. 

V (Taehyung) 

Oh, V. V would be adorable about his love's eyes. V would be completely obsessed with it, first off, openly gazing at their beauty before just shaking his head with wonder. V would do this totally cute thing where he'd cover one of his s/o's eyes, letting out a little "Woaaawww" before switching eyes and giving one of his full grins. V would have his fingers crossed constantly that any children he had with his partner would inherit the same defect. 

“I think our kids will have your eyes. Don’t you think Jagi? I think so. I hope so. Don’t you hope so. too? Waaaa I really hope so.”

Jungkook 

Surprisingly, I think Jungkook would actually be pretty interested in the uniqueness of his s/o's eyes, especially initially. Eventually, his fascination would wear off of course, but it would be something JK consistently admired about his love's appearance. I could also see Jungkook making a habit of capturing the different ways light played with his love’s eyes.
