The Rest of Forever: Elite Fanfiction
Tumblr media
This story is dedicated to the wonderful ladies I met through the tumblr Elite chat. You guys are so lovely and have made the experience all the better. I hope this story is a nice reminder of who Guznadia is at heart. <3
He's warm and content, oh so utterly at peace.
It was an unfamiliar sensation and for a moment he was confused, wondering if he had woken up into another dream. But feeling the heat of her body tucked tightly against him, Guzman knows that by some miracle, this was his reality.
His heart fills with this quiet elation, smiling sleepily while pulling Nadia even closer against him, her back pressing against him. He nuzzles against the loose curls until his lips touch the soft skin of her neck. He inhales deeply and is filled with that familiar lavender scent.
He remembers when he first walked into her parents' fruit shop and was hit with a gust of lavender. He smelled it every time he visited and every time he was around Nadia. He had finally asked her about it one day as he held her in his arms. He was still pining and waiting for her to take their friendship to the next level but he reveled in her touch as always, tucking his face into her neck.
"You smell so good. You always smell so good," he said, his voice coming out in a low rasp. He felt her shiver against him, her arms tightening just slightly. "What is it?"
She started to pull away and his grip around her waist tightened to let her know he wasn't ready to let go yet. She complied and simply pulled her head back to look at him with an amused smile.
"It's lavender. When my parents first opened up the shop they were having problems with insects buzzing around the fruits so I went out and planted a bunch of lavenders around the shop and house. They keep the insects away, protecting the fruits."
He beamed down at her, a flash of little Nadia kneeling on the ground, hands muddy with soil as she planted flowers. "How old were you?"
She scrunched her nose thoughtfully. "Hmmm, about six, I think? I was already getting myself dirty, playing outside so I had no problems planting flowers. I felt like they were my children," she admitted with a blush.
Oh god, he thought, watching her cheeks turn a tantalizing rosy color. He wanted to feel the heat beneath her cheek, he wanted to feel it on his skin. His heart raced and before he could stop himself, he let his fingers brush gently, tentatively, against her heat. He wanted to close his eyes and bask in her touch but he was riveted by her dark eyes looking at him. They were so intense, piercing his soul and he felt so exposed to her. He knew what she was seeing, his heart laid out for hers to take, but it didn't make him afraid. He felt powerful every time she looked at him because it was her gaze that was on him. Somehow, some way, he was able to draw her attention to him enough to keep her eyes on him. Somehow this wonderful, beautiful, special girl was sparing her time and energy for him of all people.
He had so desperately wanted to kiss her then, his lips tingling. He had wanted to simultaneously sip on her languidly and devour her hungrily. That was what she did to him. She calmed him like the sun peeking out from behind stormy clouds and made his blood heat like the storm itself.
He had never felt like this in his entire life and he was addicted. He didn’t need drugs when he had Nadia.
Even now as he gripped her sleeping body against him, slowly kissed up her neck, he couldn't believe she was here. He couldn’t believe she was his as much as he was hers
He feels her shift, waking up at last. "Good morning," he mumbles against her.
He sees her smile, her eyes slowly opening to peer over at him. She looks at him sleepily, her hands finding his own resting on her stomach.
"Good morning."
Her voice is  rough from sleep and it pulls at his heart. For the umpteenth time, he thinks God, she's so beautiful.
He leans over her as she shifts around to face him and kisses her. He's soft at first, kissing her top lip, then her bottom lip before pulling it with his teeth. He can't help but nibble on the soft fullness, letting himself get lost in the reality that they really are together. Reunited and this time, for good.
"Are you really here?" he asks quietly in between kisses.
She melts against the sheets, pulling him closer atop her. "I should be asking you that," she sighs. "I can't believe you're finally here. With me. In New York."
She kisses him passionately then as though the words woke her up from her own dream. He spreads his hands wide against her bare skin, pressing against the softness.
"Nadia," he breathes, sliding his lips against her jaw, down her neck, pulling her skin as he goes.
Her fingers thread through his short hair as she arches her neck back under his ardent attention. He lifts her higher up on the bed, the headboard knocking against the wall with the movement.
 "Guzman—"
A loud bang on the wall pulls them from their bubble and Lu's voice interrupts them, "Oi! I had to listen to you last night and sleep with headphones on, I'm not putting up with it for breakfast."
Guzman knocks on the wall once. "You can always go out for breakfast, you know," he scolds.
Lu shouts back a retort he couldn’t understand nor cared to.
Nadia shrinks further into the bed in embarrassment even though her door was firmly closed and locked. Guzman's ire at the disruption is eclipsed by the affection that washes over him as he looks down at her. She had covered her face shyly but he could see a hint of her smile.
He settles over her comfortably, taking care not to crush her and resting his elbows on either side of her. His hands travel up her forearm to her hands, pulling them from her face and before he can protest, he attacks her face with kisses.
"Guzman," Nadia squeals, trying to dodge his lips as a peel of laughter escapes her.
She twists her body to move her head out of reach but Guzman switches to kissing her neck and shoulders while tickling her sides. Nadia hikes her leg up to wrap around his hip and uses it to leverage herself on top of him. In a surprising twist, Nadia flips Guzman on his back and holds his wrists prisoner.
He looks at her in astonishment, out of breath, before a slow grin spreads across his face. "Well, I can't complain about this turn of events. I don't mind being at your mercy."
He swallows as Nadia leans closer to brush her nose against his. "We'll be at Lu's mercy if we don't behave."
His face crumples in displeasure at that. "That's not where I was hoping this was going."
Nadia shakes her head with a giggle, her soft curls brushing against him and he can't help leaning into them, enjoying their soft brushes against his skin. She releases his wrists to rest firmly over him and his hands immediately reach for her, gliding them softly up and down her back.
“I know, my impatient boy, but as long as I'm— we're —living with Lu, we should be mindful of our roommate, no?"
"Ugh, we really need our own place."
Nadia smiles softly at that, caressing his cheek. "That sounds lovely, but let's wait a little bit. I don't want to leave Lu alone when we haven't even been here a whole year."
"Lu will be fine," he replies. "She's pretty resourceful."
"I know that, but I think she's come to appreciate my presence, maybe even needs it," Nadia frowns. "You know she puts on a good brave face, but underneath it all she's still burdened by what happened. She's still scared of being on her own in this brand new place."
Guzman brushes a lock of Nadia's hair behind her ear, his demeanor softening as he looks at her. He knew she was right and even though he wanted nothing more than to have a home with just Nadia, he wasn't going to take this for granted. If being with Nadia, living with her, and starting a life with her at long last meant Lu was going to be a fixture in their lives for a little while, he'd go along with it happily.
"You're right," he agrees softly. "And you’re possibly too kind and thoughtful than anyone deserves. Especially Lu."
Nadia sits up, pulling Guzman up with her. "Maybe you're right," she shrugs, putting on a maxi dress as Guzman woefully looks on. Much as he wants to stay in bed with Nadia, he knows they have to face the day at some point. "But, it's the right thing to do. And against my better judgement, I feel for her."
Guzman walks over to her, slipping on his boxer briefs as he goes. Instinctively, he zips up her dress before she can ask and pulls her close. She smiles in thanks, looking up at him.
"I love you," he says. "So much."
She leans up to kiss his nose. "I love you."
 "So much?"
 She giggles, nodding. "So much."
His body relaxes, his heart feeling so full he thinks it just might burst. I love you, I love you, I love you… Every heartbeat is for her and he feels as though he'll never tire of telling her just how much he loves her.
"Now why don't we make the most of this beautiful day together?" she says with excitement, her eyes lighting up. "What do you want to do first? We can pick up breakfast from Pret A Manger and take it to Riverside Park. I go there all the time and I've been dying to show you. It's so beautiful and there's a gorgeous view of the water. And then we can take Citibikes around the area or—oh! We can take the NJ Transit and go to New Jersey if you like." She bites her lower lip thoughtfully and he wants to pull it between his teeth instead but she continues to ramble excitedly. "Actually maybe we'll do the New Jersey trip another time, you haven't even seen New York yet. Maybe we can take the bikes down to Battery Park unless you want to try out the trains—"
He could listen to her excited chatter all day but he was concerned she was going to run out of oxygen soon so he leans in and kisses her just long enough to stun her into silence. He pulls away, smiling in amusement.
"Nadia, it doesn’t matter what we do. We could do it all or none of it today because the important thing is we're here. Together. You and me, we have the rest of our lives to do it all."
Nadia looks up at him, her eyes wide and sparkling. She reaches up on her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and again, he gets that lovely whiff of lavender from her. He leans into her to inhale more of it, letting it wash over him. Home.
"You're right," she says. "You and me. We have the rest of forever together."

Relapse ~ A GuzNadia One-Shot {Elite(TV)}.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Guzmán kept his eyes trained on the steering wheel, his hands gripping it tight until his knuckles turned white, as Nadia moved in the periphery of his vision, unbuckling her seat belt. He remained frozen as she opened the door, stepped out and shut the door. He bit his lip, refraining from saying the million things he was dying to say, as she stood outside the gate, hesitating.
Will I see you tomorrow?
Will you call me if your condition worsens?
Promise not to over-exert yourself.
Please, for fuck sake, don’t shut me out again.
Take care of yourself.
I love you.
Instead, his haunted eyes followed her until she disappeared into the shop. He turned around, eyes burning with unshed tears and sped home.

This is chapter 4 for my Élite AU Love & Deceit! Thanks so much you guys for the lovely comments and support! It can be read on ao3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/32302612
And on wattpad here:
Thanks for reading! Enjoy!
Chapter Four:
In the dream, a pair of lustful green eyes glare at me from the dark...
The obnoxious sound my phone's alarm clock rings in my ear. I rub and open my eyes, the alarm of my phone notifying me consistently to wake up and prepare myself for the day. The first day. Work officially begins and I must be on the top my heels with everything. From managing the mansion's staff, to cleaning, as well and looking after the house. It shouldn't be too hard. Right?
I get out my outfit for today which is thankfully more casual than the others who mandatorily must wear suits and or maid dresses. I am privileged to wear more causal clothing, a white button up blouse, a black skirt, and my navy blue Toms. I put on reading glasses and braid my hair into a short pony tail before wrapping a silky and shiny baby blue hijab around my head. Of course I dabble my face with a little make up, eyeliner, and brown lipstick, so I can at least look slightly more fashionable. Honestly, I look like an assistant rather than someone who cleans and manages a mansion.
I enter into the living room of the suite and the girls are nowhere in sight, probably already starting to help the kitchen staff with breakfast for the boys. I open the door, about to enter the hallway when I pump into a what felt like a wall. He's a few inches taller than me and devilishly handsome.
His hair is dark, short, and wavy, and I can smell the nice smelling aftershave on his smooth face. He looks at me and I've never seen such a friendlier smile. His golden brown eyes are like ice, so cold and sharp, but everything about him is warm. He's dressed in a dark blue blazer with a black shirt underneath and ripped jeans.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there, miss...?" his Spaniard accent is strong, and I notice that both his hands still rest on my shoulders. After a few awkward seconds his cheeks heat up red and he quickly releases me from his grip.
I clear my throat.
"It's okay, um," I clear my throat again. "Who are you?" I ask sincerely. I must know who this stranger is. I didn't see him last night at dinner. Is he a brother? No, probably not, although he looks the part. But he is definitely more casual.
"I'm Samuel. Nice to meet you," he says and I shake his hand. "I am here to assist you. Mister Crisanto put you in charge of the staff. He put me to assistant alongside you in any way that I can make things easier for you." Samuel smiles. It's a warm and inviting smile. I nod my head slowly.
"I didn't know I'd be having an assistant."
"You'll need all the help you can get, I'm afraid." Samuel chuckles softly.
"I'm thankful. And I'm sure I'll need it. Well, how about breakfast...?" I tell him and he's just staring at me with his lips still stuck in a smile. After a few moments I guess my words have entered his ears and his eyes go wide.
"Oh, right! " he says, starting now towards the stairs. "Shall we?" he says.
"Of course." I walk towards him and we stroll down the stairs together.
"So how'd you get this job?" Samuel asks me as we walk down the hallway on our way towards the kitchen.
"Well, a professor of mine recommended me to take this high opportunity job, and I needed a high paying job and experience like this, so I took the chance. The benefits are spectacular. I've never been to London, and well...here I am." I smile to myself.
Samuel looks at me with much amazement. Silence creeps in and I decide to disrupt it.
"What about you? How'd you end up here?" I ask him and he shoves his hands into his pockets, his smile revealing his perfect white teeth.
"I'm a friend of the family, actually," says Samuel. "We're all just trying to make a living."  he finishes.
"Isn't that the truth." I huff.
After a few more minutes of walking, we near the kitchen, which is before the dining hall.
"Well, I'll see what's up in the kitchen and you check out the dining hall in preparation for set up." Samuel instructs and I oblige. He disappears into the kitchen and I walk further towards the dining hall, finally entering, and is soon disturbed because of the sight in front of me.
Half naked and clothed only in a matte black designer house-robe is, Guzmán. His naked chest bare with a thin gold necklace draped around his neck and laying on his large pecs, his perfect peachy skin glistening from the invading morning light. He sits in the chair inappropriately like a child. The trim of his boxers showing beneath his bellybutton, as his grey sweatpants that shape his legs are slouched down by an inch to display the brand of his boxers. Which are Calvin Klein...
His eyes snap up at me and a smirk grows on his face. He takes a green apple from the fruit bowl in front of him and slowly bites into it. The loud crunch is taunting and obnoxious, making me cringe. I'm sure the crunch could be heard all over the mansion. He munches on the apple while holding his gaze upon me. His lips are now plump, wet, and a deeper shade of pink. I bite my tongue and clench my fist, trying to grip onto the first thing to say that comes to mind.
"What are you doing?" is the only thing my brain could come with, and it's an incredibly stupid question.
"As you know, this is my home," Guzmán smirks. "And I'm eating an apple." he takes another bite out of the apple and his smirk grows to deride me.
Let me try firing a better question...
"I mean what are you doing sitting here half naked at the table? It's..."
"Obnoxious?" Guzmán adds.
"Even better." I reply.
"Abhorrent?" Guzmán continues while standing from the chair. I cross my arms and stand my ground.
"I couldn't agree more." I challenge him, my hands are on my hips now, and Guzmán inches himself closer to me.
"Repugnant?" he continues, getting closer. "Intolerable?" he's even closer, and I back away slightly but there is a wall behind me, meaning I'm trapped.
"Unpleasant?" he says, now standing in front of me. He's so much taller than me that I have to look up.
"Most definitely." I breathe, looking away. Guzmán leans closer to me.
"Dis-taste-ful?" he whispers into my ear, his breath on my neck. Why am I even allowing this?
"Are you finished, Mister Blanco?" I ask him and I hear him chuckle under his breath. "What's so funny?" I ask as he backs away from me, restoring my personal space.
"Mister Blanco is my father. You can call me, Guzmán, baby girl." he winks and my mouth hangs open.
"Excuse me?" I glare at him but it amuses him further.
"Or daddy, if you'd like." Guzmán winks again with a grin.
"Excu—, Why I...!" I scoff. Thankfully, before he could say anything, waiters and waitresses bring out plates of food and fancy eating utensils to spread on the table blanketed in white.
"Breakfast is served!" Carla, who is dressed cutely in her cleaning outfit, shouts and rings a bell as the staff sets up the food on the table. Guzmán's brothers enter the room, selecting their seats. Guzmán sits at the head of the table where his father sat last night, still sitting obnoxiously and munching on his apple, his green gaze still focused on me, trying to get beneath my skin.
"Everything alright?" I hear Samuel's voice and I turn around to see his friendly face, which immediately brightens my mood.
"Yes, of course," I give him an assuring smile and look back at Guzmán and his brothers as they all begin to eat breakfast.
...
LATER ON, THE DAY has become evening, and my first day was a success for the most part. Breakfast went surprisingly smooth as the rest of the day was a complete and utter day of bland. There wasn't much to do, but it felt like a lifetime of doing so. Floors needed to be swept, mopped, and waxed, the rooms dusted, books organized—things like that. Of course I took care of all of those things on my behalf. Managing the other staff to do lawn work and clean the pool and other parts of the house wasn't an easy fix either. As well as figuring out the meal plan. Crisanto seems to have a very distinct diet for him and his sons, so I want to make sure we live up to his dietary expectations.
It's about a quarter to seven when I am relieved from my duty and I head upstairs to my room. The other girls sought to go sight seeing in the city and shop around before we are to do dinner. I'm just going to get lost in a novel and probably go to sleep. I'll have plenty of time to check out the city of London during my stay here.
The house is silent as I walk through the eldritch hall. Not a soul to be seen or a sound to be heard, other than the sound of my shoes sliding against the smooth floor. Suddenly, a wave of laughter and squeaky shoes on the freshly waxed floors disrupts the silence and I stop, knowing exactly who it is.
The brothers.
Guzmán and his shirtless brothers are dressed in their basketball gear (by gear I mean shirtless and only wearing their sneakers and shorts), entering into the hall childishly. Their skin is glistening and sweaty, hair drenched and dripping. The brother, Ander, even uses his water bottle to pour water all over himself, drenching his curly hair further. I watch in annoyance as it slides down his chest like a waterfall. His brothers snicker and he sighs in relief at the surely cool sensation of his ice cold drinking water that is now all over the floor. I don't know what to be pissed about more, seeing Guzmán smirk at me menacingly, or the fact that Ander is wasting perfectly good water to pour onto himself, and making a puddle on the freshly cleaned floors that the staff and I worked hard on cleaning!
"Um, excuse me!" I storm towards the boys who are way taller than me and they look at me like I'm a lost child.
"Your highness?" Guzmán smirks and Ander and Polo poorly hide their grins. Valerio smirks, which is dark and seductive and honestly, a bit unsettling. Everything is just a game to them it seems.
"Maybe you don't care, but the staff and I worked very hard to clean the floors of this house. Maybe show a little respect by not pouring water onto it?" I try to make my voice as kind as possible.
"Oh you mean like this?" Guzmán opens his water bottle and pours the remainder of his drink on to the floor while looking directly into my eyes. His brothers look at one another, finding amusement in my shocked expression.
"We work hard for your house you know! You can't just mess up the floors when people worked hard to manage it!" I bark at Guzmán, who is rather entertained by this tribulation.
"You're right, this is my house," Guzmán chuckles, taking a step closer to me. "Which means I can do whatever the fuck I want," He is in front of me now, eyes aglow under the pristine lighting of the hall, staring deep into my soul. I flinch and he holds a deathly glare, but I can see the delight dancing around in his eyes and lips. "And you know what else is mine? You and everyone else who works for me. Meaning whatever mess I make, you have to clean it the fuck up." Guzmán drops his empty water bottle on the ground and walks away with his brothers following after him. "Have fun!" he laughs while walking away, his brothers following after him, and also tossing their empty bottles on the ground. All except Valerio...
I stand there for a moment fighting back the tears. I bend down to retrieve the water bottles, cleaned up the mess, and ran straight into my room. Never have I felt so disrespected and humiliated in my entire life, and even worse, defeated. I'm not used to biting my tongue, but I have to if I want to make my earnings and leave a desirable impression. Just when I have gotten comfortable and about to start reading my favorite novel, The Secret History, my phone rings.
"Hello?" I croak into the phone.
"Hey, Nadia! How are you honey? Is the job going well?" It's dad. What do I tell him? That everything is going great? Or I just got madly degraded by a really attractive prick of a rich boy? Of course I go with the first option. "Everything is going fine, baba. The house is beautiful." I tell him.
"That's really good Nadia, me and your brother miss you. Omar is here, would you like to speak to him?" I think for a moment. Hearing Omar's voice would really make my day. "Yes of course, put him on the phone!" I tell him and a few seconds later I hear him.
"Hey doofus." the rough and familiar voice of Omar makes me smile.
"Hey weasel," I tease him with the nickname he detests and I hear his soft chuckles over the phone.
"I told you never to call me that," he laughs and I imagine his bright smile. I've been gone a day and I already miss my brother and baba so much.
There's a few moments of silence, nothing but our soft breathing.
"Is everything alright, Nadia?" he finally says and I wipe tears from my eyes, not allowing them to consume me.
"I'm already missing home." I admit to him.
"Give it some time, sis, you'll do great. Don't let those rich assholes best you down. You're a Shanaa. A bad bitch. You got this." Omar says and I instantly feel better.
"You're right," I wipe more tears away and exhale. "I got this."
"And," Omar lowers his voice. "Ring me up if there's any cute boys available."
"Will do," I half laugh. I guess I'll talk to you later, yeah?" I say.
"Yeah sis, I'll talk to you later. Just be cool." he says and we both hang up the phone.
I toss my phone to the side and bury my face into my book, drifting off until I finally fall asleep.

Time
Requests: I wish you would write a fic where we have a double date with omander and guznadia & Could you write something about Guzman and Nadia like right where season 2 ends of and what will happen with them
Pairs: Guzmán x Nadia // Omar x Ander
“What would you say if I said I wanted to go on a date?” Nadia casually mentioned in the hall.
“A date?” Guzmán tried to hide his excitement.
She nodded. “A real one.”
“Consider it done.” He gave her a quick kiss.
“You wanna go out tonight?” Omar stroked Ander’s back as they laid in bed.
“I really don’t want to go to the club tonight.”
“Not the club...more like…a date? At a restaurant or something.”
“Sure, Hon.” Omar couldn’t hold back his grin.
The second they walked in the restaurant, Guzmán turned to leave again. “No. I can’t do this.”
“Come on.” Nadia grabbed his arm. “He’s your best friend. Let’s just try to talk this out.”
“Nadia. This isn’t a date...it’s an intervention.”
“We’ll have our date, but the two of you have been miserable for weeks. Omar and I just want to help you fix it.”
“Absolutely not.”
“Really wishing we were at the club right now,” Ander whispered in Omar’s ear.
“Let’s just try and if it’s awful-”
“Which it it will be.”
Omar glared at him. “Let’s try and then we’ll go home, okay?” Omar squeezed Ander’s hand.
“Okay.”
A waiter led the four to a table towards the back of the restaurant.  They quietly took their seats and looked over their menus. After a few uncomfortable moments of silence, Ander looked up at Guzmán. “How have you been?”
“Don’t.”
“Guzmán-”
“You lied to me.” His voice was tense. He was angrier than Ander ever remembered seeing him.
“I know,” Ander swallowed slowly. “And I shouldn’t have. I’m sorry.” Omar noticed Ander’s knee bouncing up and down under the table. He could sense how upset this conversation was making his boyfriend. Why did he do this to him? Maybe this was a mistake.
“It was an impossible situation,” Omar finally spoke.
“Omar,” Nadia hissed. They promised they wouldn’t but in the conversation or take sides. This was for Guzmán and Ander, not them.
“He was. There was no right answer. Polo manipulated him and-”
“And he lied to me. That’s all there is to it.”
“You know that’s not true.”
“Omar, stop,” Nadia nudged him.
“Ander felt like hell for weeks! It was killing him! He wanted to tell you.”
“I should have told you. I know that.”
Guzmán didn’t know what else to say. He glanced at Nadia. She nodded comfortingly. He sighed deeply. “It just felt...when I found out you were hiding his secret, it felt like maybe you were picking him or that he was more important to you or something…”
“Guzmán, we’re best friends. No one could come between us. Polo doesn’t mean anything to me, not anymore.” Guzmán nodded slowly. “I’m not expecting everything to just go back to normal right away. I know that’s not realistic, but...if you could think about it…”
“I need time.”
“Of course,” Nadia rubbed his shoulder. “We know.”
“Everything has just been so hard recently.” He glanced at the three of them and he knew they understood, and even if they didn’t they were trying to. Fuck Guzmán thought. This is making it so much more difficult to hate Ander right now. “I want to forgive you, but I’m not in that place yet,” Guzmán said quietly before calmly standing up and leaving the restaurant.
“I’m sorry, Ander,” Nadia sighed. “I thought this would help, but…”
“It did. It’s a start. Thank you.” He turned to his boyfriend. “Thank you.” He gave him a quick kiss.
“Let’s go,” Omar stood and offered Ander his hand.
“Gracias, Nadia.”
When Nadia finally gathered her emotions and managed to get the courage, she texted Guzmán.
Where did you go?
Cafe. Sorry.
She took a deep breath and made the short walk to her favorite cafe a few blocks over. When she stepped inside, she immediately found her boyfriend. He was the only customer, but still forced himself into a seat tucked in the back corner of the building.
“Lo siento.” She sat across from him.
“I got your favorite,” he gently nudged a mug in front of her. Even when he was upset, he remembered the little things.
“Lo siento,” she repeated. “I really thought it would help.”
“I know you did.”
“Hey,” she reached her hand across the table. She interlaced her fingers with his. “We finally got our date.”
Guzmán let out a soft laugh. “Yeah, we did.”

Why is the Elite fanfiction over on AO3 so dry?! I don't do fanfiction so need some of you writers to help a sister out and write some good Nadia x guzman fanfiction.

Note
Do you also read any elite fanfictions (aka recommend any?) or do you just write them?
Hey! Unfortunately there is very little good fanfic being written, at least about pairings I care about. If you like Omander/Carmuel/Guznadia, you might be able to find a lot on AO3 though! (Some of my favorite Elite fics are about pairings I don't ship, just because the writing is amazing and they managed to erase the character traits I hate in canon. You need to be pretty damn talented to make Samuel interesting and likable!) I really hope season four coming out will help boost activity in the fandom because we need more talented writers! The characters are so interesting, and the writers took very little care in being consistent so it's kind of a writers dream to get to play around with them since there's a lot of room for missing moments. Some of my all time faves are:  little fires everywhere (Carmuel, literally the most amazing thing I've ever read)  hey moon (Valu)  when i was older (Carmuel)  I keep pouring my life into these broken roots (Rebe/Lu, which NEEDS to be more of a thing, this fandom needs to stop sleeping on WLW!)  You can find most elite stories ever written on AO3 here if you want to have a look, but a lot of it is very hit or miss!

Moments: Elite Fanfiction
Tumblr media
This is a silly, goofy, bit I wrote while I was making tea yesterday. Sometimes I have an elaborate process and it made me think of how Nadia would have to teach Guzman his way around a kitchen since he grew up with a chef and maid and he needs domestic lessons lol. Will be part of a series of one-shots with GN domesticity. Warning, this is ridiculous af and a big stream of consciousness, hope you guys like it anyway! oh also some mild references of racism and islamaphobia
"You know when I asked you how to make tea, I didn't realize I was signing up for a science experiment."
Guzman looks on with wide eyes as Nadia pulls out a pot, filling it with water while grabbing a measuring cup. She smirks and winks at him as she pulls out a can of evaporated milk from the fridge.
"Hey, you said you wanted to learn how to make my favorite tea," she says with a shrug. "This is how."
Guzman eyes the supplies Nadia laid out on the counter and points at the can. "And what's that?"
"Milk."
He balks at her. "Milk? I've never seen milk in a can before."
Nadia snorts at his bewildered expression and rubs his shoulder affectionately. "Oh you poor, rich baby. Let me teach you. This is called evaporated milk. It’s usually used to make desserts but I like putting it in my tea. Makes it smooth, thick and delicious."
Nadia hums in delight at the thought of the delicious tea and Guzman can't help raise an eyebrow suggestively. "Smooth, thick, and delicious, huh? Sounds familiar."
She gasps, scandalized, and shoves at his shoulder. "You're such a pervert. Don't ruin the moment."
He tickles her waist, teasing. "I thought I was creating the moment."
Nadia fixes a stern look upon him, eyebrows raised, even as she fights back a smile. He sees her trembling lips and wants to tease her some more but instead pretends to be properly chastised.
"Yes ma'am," he says solemnly, his hands clasped together in supplication. "I promise to behave."
"Good," she says with a nod and misses how he mutters "For now," under his breath.
Nadia takes out a glass measuring cup, different from the other ones she had pulled out, and fills it with water.
"Wait, what is that for?"
"This is a measuring cup," Nadia answers patiently. "I'm using it to measure out four cups of water."
"But you already have those measuring cups," Guzman says, gesturing at the smaller, ceramic ones.
"Those are for dry ingredients, this one is for wet ingredients. Like water."
Guzman scratches his head. "This is way more complicated than I thought."
"We haven't even begun! Really, it's simple, just pay attention." She pours four cups of water into a small pot with a wooden handle."
"Wait, why are you putting it in a pot?"
Now it's Nadia's turn to look at him with bemusement. "Where else would I put it?"
"I don't know, in a kettle or something?"
"I told you, I'm making stove-top tea. Kettle tea is fine, but doesn't work as well for what I'm trying to do."
"Oh ok," Guzman says as though he understood even though he didn't. He watches her set the pot on top of the stove attentively, leaning against the counter. "Continue."
Nadia shoots him a teasing look. "I'm going to turn on the stove now. Will you be able to behave near the flame? No hanky panky."
Guzman lunges toward her, wrapping her up in his arms. "Well since you gave me a warning, I'll take advantage of the moment now, thank you." He smacks a kiss against her cheek.
She doesn't struggle out of his grip, instead slaps at his hand on her hand as though calling his attention. "If you're going to goof around, at least pay attention."
"Ok, ok, I'm paying attention." He rests his chin on her shoulder, looking over to see what she was doing. "When does the tea part come in?"
"Oh my god, Guzman!"
"Sorry, sorry, go ahead." He squeezes her bashfully to alleviate her ire.
She heaves a deep sigh. "Ok so as I was going to say," she says pointedly. "Let the water boil for a little bit before you put the tea in."
"How come? Why not just throw it all together?"
"Because the water isn't hot enough to steep the flavors out of the leaves. The leaves will just sit there but the flavors aren't being activated. Only the heat can draw it out, especially if you want the tea to be strong, which I do."
Guzman nods like an attentive student, Nadia's curls brushing against his cheek. He can't help but lean into her more, rubbing his cheek against hers. "Right, that I knew. Now I know to keep the leaves in longer when I make it for you."
"Exactly." She smiles and lightly caresses his ear with her free hand. "So, once you see the bubbles on the surface like that, it means…?"
She waits for him to fill in the blank and like a good student, he says "It’s ready for the tea leaves?"
"Good job!"
She actually sounds genuine when she says that and Guzman, like a dork, feels his chest swell with pride. Hah! He got something right. There was hope for him yet.
She steps away from him and gestures to the loose tea leaves. "Would you like to do the honors? Remember half a cup of the leaves."
Guzman nods eagerly, reaching for the leaves and the measuring cup when Nadia abruptly halts his movements. "Half cup, Guzman!"
He looks at the measuring cup in his hand, confused. "Isn't this half a cup? It looks small."
"Honey, no. It's labeled, see? That's a whole cup. We don't want me dying of heart palpitations."
Guzman whips around to look at her, wide-eyed. "You get heart palpitations? I didn't know that. Are you ok?"
He moves closer to her but she soothes him. "It's ok, it's nothing serious. I've just been over-caffeinating lately because of classes. I should probably slow down on it," she says, rubbing her chest absent-mindedly.
He places his hand against her heart, a frown on his face. He feels the steady thump and he relaxes a little. "How long has this been happening?"
She sets her hand over his. "It's ok. Life of a college student who's double-majoring and with a minor," she says with a wry smile.
Guzman's frown deepens, bordering on a pout as he pulls her into a hug. "You work too hard."
"It's all I've ever known," she says with a shrug, chuckling when he squeezes her tighter.
"It's a good thing I'm here, then."
He hadn't fully grasped just how much stress she was under. He knew, logically, that she had a lot on her plate with school and even a part-time job on the side. She had sent him a copy of her course schedule and her work schedule so that he knew where she was and could coordinate calls accordingly. He remembered opening up the email and balking at how packed it was, his own stress level rising on her behalf. But whenever he would talk to her, she was dismissive and said it was normal.
Nadia was always good at shielding stress sometimes to the point where she wasn't even aware of it herself and it worried him. But he was here now and he would take care of her.
He presses a kiss to her forehead, pulling away softly. Just then he sees the water bubbling over and as though they were in sync, Nadia's eyes widen and she whips around.
"The water!" they shout in unison, rushing to lower the heat.
They watch the bubbles fade until it's just a low simmer. Nadia sighs, shaking her head. "Yeah, that's not a step. Let's not repeat that."
Guzman salutes her and turns back to the measuring cups, taking care to look at the label on them to make sure he picked up the right one. He was definitely not trying to send his girlfriend to an early grave, especially not now that he finally has her.
"Ok, I got it!" He brandishes the half cup proudly, checking to make sure she saw. She shakes her head affectionately at his boyish excitement and claps again, the gesture genuine.
"Nice."
He carefully pours the leaves into the cup, glancing at the water to make sure it didn't bubble over again, but the heat was low and it was sage again. He gets a good whiff of the leaves and is pleasantly surprised by the smell.
"Whoa, what kind of leaves are there? Where do you get them from?" He looks up from smelling them and grins at her. "You know, since they're a staple for you."
"There's a middle eastern café not too far from here with live music and good food. They have a little shop at the back where they sell tea and all kinds of other snacks. Ooh we should go this Sunday night. I think that's when they're having their special and a performer who's supposed to be really good."
Guzman brings over the tea leaves, his grin widening at her excitement. He can't help but beam at her happiness, every time she smiles so brightly or gets excited about something.
"Definitely. Anything you want." He gestures toward the now boiling water with the cup of leaves. "Is it ready?"
"Fire away!"
Guzman looks at her, cautious, before his eyes flit to the open window. Nadia rests a reassuring hand on his shoulder knowing where his mind had gone.
"Don't worry," she says.
Guzman grimaces. "I've heard New Yorkers are crazy and assholes. Especially after what happened here all those years ago."
"It's not anything more or less different than what I've dealt with before." Before he can say anything else, she nods toward the pot. "Toss the tea in before it boils over again."
Guzman knows that he'll always worry about her and about people being hostile or worse, violent, toward her just because of her appearance, her beliefs. But it wasn't because of her, Nadia wasn’t the problem. It was others and what others perceive her beliefs to be. He knew all too well how radical racists could be, creating their own narratives. He knew because once upon a time, he was among those assholes.
He never resented Nadia for her hijab or religion, but he certainly didn't discourage other people's narrow perceptions. Not until he got to know her and learned that all the stereotypes that ignorant people perpetuated were complete and utter bullshit. If he could beat up his past self, he would but instead, he would fight for Nadia. She was no damsel that was for sure, but he would be right by her side, fighting alongside her. Fight for her beliefs, her rights, her freedom. He would spend the rest of his life righting his wrongs and making sure those that did wrong her, would soon learn not to.
But now was not the time for dark thoughts because his girlfriend was looking at him expectantly. He had wanted to learn how to make her favorite tea so that he could make it for her whenever she wished, he wanted to be able to bring her some small piece of comfort when she needed it.
He steps closer to the stove and pours the tea in. He watched in fascination as the boiling water rose to engulf the leaves, turning the once clear water a thick, dark sludge almost.
"Wow, this really is a science demonstration," he murmurs. "It looks like wet mud actually."
Nadia snorts. "Yeah, I suppose so." She looks at him with sparkling eyes, the amusement shining bright. "Your fascination with the simplest thing is both hilarious and cute."
"My parents always drank coffee and even then I never saw them actually make it. Probably because they never actually made it themselves," he adds.
"Well, allow me to humble you," Nadia winks. "Ok now stir with the wooden spoon."
Guzman obliges, stirring the boiling, dark water carefully. The sludge had looked thick on the surface but as soon as he began to stir, the smooth liquid gave way to the spoon.
"Nadia, you humbled me the moment you blackmailed me at that party."
"Hmm I think it took a bit more time than that. Ok so you're now going to let the water boil with the leaves. Then you're--"
"What? There's another step?" he asks, astonished.
Nadia gestures to the can of what he now understood to be evaporated milk. He made a mental note of the size and appearance of the can for future reference. "Yeah, what did you think that was for."
Guzman stammers. "Well…I guess, I don't know, I thought that's supposed to be the last step? Isn't that how the British do it?"
"And when exactly did I become British. Moreover, when were the British deemed to have dictatorship on tea-making?"
"True," he concedes. "I guess I didn't realize there were so many ways to make tea, especially ways that took soooo long."
Nadia shrugs with a grin. "You want quality tea, you have to put the work in."
Guzman couldn't help the broad smile that broke across his face. "Sounds familiar. I had to work really hard for you, didn't I? Worth."
He considers this a moment as Nadia pulls a box from the cabinet. They've been together for awhile now and living together for three months already and still, Guzman had moments where he couldn't believe they were truly together. How many times had he fantasized about running away with Nadia? Too many to count and yet he had never envisioned this particular scenario. The reality was so much sweeter than anything he could have imagined.
"Glad you think so. And I'm grateful you were patient with me." She pushes the open box toward him after kissing his cheek. "Ok now you're going to grab the other measuring cup, the one that's labeled two thirds."
Guzman looks between Nadia, the box, and the simmering pot of tea.
"Nadia, are you making tea or a potion?  Are you secretly a witch and this is your way of telling me?"
"Hey, it wouldn't have taken so long if you didn't keep interrupting with your commentary. You talk a lot." She flicks his ear lob teasingly. "Now hop to it."
"Yes, master."
Guzman takes care to find the correct measuring cup this time and scoops the white granules from the box. "And what is this?"
"Sweetener."
"I thought that was the sugar." He gestures at the shaker labeled azucar. Nadia was so organized he never had trouble finding things even when he first moved in.
"It is, but this is sweetener. It's a good substitute for sugar sometimes, especially for me since I drink too much tea."
"This doesn't have your label on it though."
Nadia twists the box to the side where the brand and logo is presented with the word sweetener on it.
"Oh."
Guzman pours in the milk then the measured amount of sweetener, watching the color change into a pretty brown color, resembling a light chocolate.
"This is cool actually,  I feel like an important scientist. Look what I just created."
"You are an important scientist. My scientist, you did great work."
She rubs his back in that way that's become familiar to him.
Living together, he saw another side of Nadia, one that made him fall in love with her even more and he hadn't thought that was possible. He loved the way he stretched as she woke every morning, the way she put toothpaste on his brush automatically, the way she hip-checked him to spit into the sink before he could, the way she always served him a heaping helping of food like she thought he had been starving for a month, the way she rubbed his back or neck or hair as she passed by him around their apartment. These small moments meant everything to him, these casual but intimate touches that told him she loved him and was thinking about him, kept him in this perpetual state of contentment and he never fails to return the touch.
He does so now, pulling her to his side and kissing her temple and he watches her turn off the heat. He's taking note of everything she's telling him and showing him so he can surprise her with her favorite comfort drink.
"Is it done now?" he asks eagerly. He wanted her to try it and he was excited to see if he had managed to replicate the delicious way she makes it.
"Almost. We have to strain out the leaves."
"Ah shit."
"We should definitely cook more often," Nadia says in amusement, pulling two glasses down from the cupboard. "Forget take-out, we're cooking. I get dinner and a show."
Guzman takes the small strainer from her, taking care with the steaming pot. "Hopefully not burned dinner. I just pour the tea into the cups now? Through the strainer?"
"Exactly and then we're done."
Once Guzman pours out two glasses of tea, he sets them in front of Nadia with a flourish. It's silly but he's still proud especially when Nadia hops excitedly.
"Done?"
"Done"
Guzman watches anxiously as Nadia takes a careful sip, waiting with baited breath for her final verdict.
Nadia sighs in contentment. "Perfection."
"Really?"
"Really."
Nadia sets down her cup to return his enthusiastic embrace. "I know how to make tea now! Who would have thought?"
She pulls away and takes another sip, smirking over the rim of the cup. "Definitely not me."
He sticks his tongue out at her before reaching for his own cup. Nadia was right, it was perfect.
"You know I'm going to expect this to be a regular thing now, right?" Nadia says, her smiling lips pressing against his.
He pulls her close, letting their glasses clink lightly. "Anything for my girl. That's why I wanted to learn. So I could make it for you whenever you wanted."
And he kept that promise for the rest of their lives. Even when they were old and graying, Guzman made sure the love of his life had warm tea ready with a kiss.

This is the continuation for my Elite AU Love & Deceit! The fanfiction can be read on ao3 here:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/32302612
And on Wattpad here:
Chapter Three:
Waiters and waitresses all dressed in white stand on every corner of the table. There are young men who play violins in the corners of the room, and women who tug on the strings of harps. I see my suite mates are already seated and I grab a random seat to sit in. From across from me I see Polo looking at me with hungry eyes, teasing me with a smirk. I ignore him and observe the rest of the dining hall.
Traditional European foods of all kind are already set up neatly on the white blanketed table on silver plates that are partnered with a drinking glasses and silverware. A heavenly chandelier hangs from above everything and Crisanto sits at the head of the long table. He is accompanied by other people dressed just as fancy as him. A young man with rosy cheeks and a friendly smirk, sitting next to another guy with beautiful caramel-colored skin and dark eyes. There is also a girl who sits beside them and they all bicker in a soft chatter, laughing and giggling in unison. There are a few other important looking people as well. I assume they are all Cristano's very opulent friends.
"Welcome, everyone. This meal is not only for my departure, but also in dedication to you, the new addition to the White Mansion." Crisanto smiles. Even though I shouldn't take it in other way, "new addition to the White Mansion" sounded pretty odd to say, but I shouldn't think too hard about it.
"Ah, right on time as always." Crisanto turns his heads to his sons that enter the room. Leading his brothers, dressed handsomely, is no other than the bruiting, Guzmán.
He is dressed in a black velvet suit, a suit that darkens his eyes in a strange deep incandescent green filled with obscured devilry. His hands are in his pocket, and he looks at just about everything in the room, except for in my direction. For a split second our eyes lock, and he quickly turns away clenching his jaw. I can tell he is forcing himself to avoid me. But why? I wonder what his problem is.
His brothers are dressed in a more casual formal  attire. They all sit in seats near the girls I'm living with, and some next to each other and other guests who I am not yet familiar with. By the time all the boys sat down, the only spot left for Guzmán to sit is next to me...
His powerful scent infiltrates my nostrils and I can't help but to think how good he smells. I try my best to ignore him, tapping my fingers on my thighs. I can feel him eyes looking over me, and from the corner of my eye I see his jaw do his signature clenching thing again, and he quickly turns his head away from me, taking a sudden interest in the silverware in front of him.
"Now, shall we say grace before we begin?" Crisanto smiles but it quickly fades when he looks at me, giving me an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry Nadia, forgive me. Would it be alright to say prayer? I don't want to oppress any different religious beliefs." he asks me and I shrug in my seat, trying to avoid all the eyes of the room staring at me.
"I really don't mind it." I smile nervously.
"Splendid. Come now, let us all hold hands." he tells us. I'm not so keen to the idea of holding hands with Guzmán, but I must do so. This day just keeps getting better and better...
We all stand from our seats, grabbing onto one another's hands. I am hesitant to hold Guzmán's hand, inching my hand closer to his.
"I don't bite," whispers Guzmán. "Hard." He surprises me by practically snatching my hand into his. His hands are bigger than mind, fingers slender and ringed with silver, and easily wraps around my cold hands. Unlike his, which are somewhat soft and very warm. For some odd and stupid reason, I can feel my face heating up and I literally shake my head to fight against the sensation. I hate this.
"Our gracious Heavenly Father," Crisanto begins the prayer and we all close our eyes as he continues. For some odd reason I am tempted to open my eyes, and stupidly, I do, only to see Guzmán staring at me. I close my eyes quickly and I hear a soft chuckle escape from his mouth. I didn't think he was even capable of even chuckling, let alone laughing. I can feel the heat rising, my palms getting hotter and hotter.
Please end this prayer already! Please! I mentally scream. I repeat it over and over in my head, just so I can escape Guzmán's grip. Within moments, Crisanto ends the prayer with an amen, and we all sit back down in our seats. Thank goodness.
I snatch my hand back as quick as I could, looking away and pretending Guzmán doesn't exist. Yet, this cunning young man has the audacity to lean closer and whisper into my ear.
"Don't worry, I enjoyed holding your hand too." he grins against my ear. I can feel him smiling at me. I know for sure it's with all the wrong intentions.
"Don't flatter yourself." I whisper back to him and his eyes simmer cold, but his perky lips still hold that smirk. Guzmán smirks and focuses his attention to his plate.
"I can tell you're not going to be an easy catch." he says and my mouth hangs open. I know he's trying to get under my skin. I can tell by his cheeky smile.
I scoff.
"You have another thing coming if you're thinking I'm a catch." I tell him and focus on my plate, waiting for the waiter to reveal our meals. Everyone else is socializing with one another like normal people, and here I am with the dreamy yet diabolical, Guzmán, who I barley even know—is finding it in his twisted pleasure to annoy me.
"Don't worry, little rabbit, I enjoy a good game." I look at him and I lose it.
"Game?!" I shout and everyone goes quiet. I clear my throat thinking of something of a way to quickly dig myself out of this awkwardness.
"I didn't know you fancied sports so personally, Guzmán." I shoot Guzmán a wicked look, hoping he catches on. He simply grins. Damn his smile is gorgeous, but already I despise him.
"Oh yes, basketball is a sport I love. As well as rugby, and such and such." Guzmán replies and everyone continues to their casual banter. I notice his brothers whispering to one another, chuckling.
"Nadia, I'd like you to meet my young friends who are successful in the fashion industry," Crisanto smiles at me, pointing to the gentleman with the dark blue suit and wavy brown hair. I can tell he is a model because how charming he is.
"This is Nathaniel Gray, he models for Calvin Klein. The fellow next to him is his friend, Austin, accompanied by their companion, Eleanor Steel, who is a photographer.
I wave to them and they give me friendly smiles, but I can tell they weren't really interested in the acquainting business. The waiters reveal our meals which consist of steak, lobster, salads, vegetables, fruits, and my personal favorite beverage besides lemon water and wine.
The night had went on and on about business talk and getting familiar with one another. The boys kept cackling to jokes most of the time, and I would occasionally talk to my suite mates. Carla was busy flirting with a guy named, Joseph, who was more than alluring on his part
Throughout dinner, Guzmán stayed quiet and kept to himself. He didn't make any snarky comments, or made an attempt to bother me. Every time I talked, he just...watched me. Maybe he didn't think I noticed him, or felt him looking at me. Or maybe, he didn't care if I did...
"So, Nadia, please do tell us a little bit more about yourself." Nathaniel asks, taking a sip of wine from his glass.
"There's not really much to know about me." I nervously reply. Being the center of attention was never my favorite thing to be.
"Please, enlighten us." Nathaniel insists and I sigh to myself. Guzmán is fully focused on me and I can feel the anxiety brewing within me.
"Well, I'm from Madrid, Spain, born and raised. I love singing and photography, as well as writing. Um, I'm in my last year of college at NYU, majoring in English and hope to one day publish a story of my own. I'm Twenty-one years old, and I have a loving family who I am thankful everyday for." I tell everyone and notice Guzmán has turned his attention somewhere else, burying a smile under his hand pressed against his lips.
"Well that was a perfect little bio if I ever heard one. Nice to meet you, Nadia." Nathaniel says and I smile and mentally pat myself on the back. I take a quick glance at Guzmán who drinks his wine. As soon as I look away to down the rest of my glass of wine, I think I hear him say, "This should be fun."
"What did you say?" I look at him. I meant for it to come out more with authority but I sounded like a timid school girl.
"Nothing, Princess," Guzmán grins while standing. "Enjoy your meal." he winks and walks away from the table, leaving the dining hall. Crisanto watches him leave and I pour me more wine and continue eating.
I really wonder what goes on in Guzmán's head. I sigh. So far I have survived the ongoing night. Let's see how it ends.
...
AFTER DINNER ENDED everyone said their fair-wells and goodbyes to one another. Carla kept flirting with Joseph, and the other girls were a trying to keep their drunken behavior managed until they got back to the suite. Crisanto had got into his white limousine hosted by William, and had left for the airport. The house is now officially in the supervision to me and his sons. Honestly, I don't know which terrifies me the most.
I stroll around outside on the balcony after getting changed into more comfortable clothes to sleep in, which is just a typical silky white gown. My hair in a messy bun and I am so glad to have all that make-up off my face. I put on my reading glasses and make me some tea to soothe me. I figure I'll take this peaceful moment to enjoy the night air. I tip toe outside onto the balcony while the the girls are asleep l in their rooms.
I take in the fresh late spring air. The breeze cool, just right, soothing and running across me. The balcony is big and acts as a perfect view for most of the enormous backyard of the white mansion. I see the tennis court, the basketball court, the swimming pool, the green house, and the walking trail that stretches into a land of tall trees amongst the meadow between the mansion and the woods.
I lean on the ledge of the stone balcony guarded by more white lions. Below, I notice someone standing near the swimming pool. He just stands there, looking at the large pool illuminated with the lights beneath it. I set my cup on the ledge and watch him. It's of course, Guzmán, to no surprise. I just watch him. What is he doing? Why do I care?
I continue to watch as he mindlessly watches the pool with his hands in his pocket. Then, to my surprise, Guzmán begins to slowly undress, taking off his clothes peace by peace. His skin is open to the night air. He pulls down his pants, kicking of his shoes and sliding off his socks. Finally, the biggest shock, is that he slides off his black name brand boxers and tosses them to the side. Oh my god, he's naked! Skinny dipping at that!
I can't help but to notice how his physique is literally godly, Greek defined for sure. The shape of his rear even, it's unearthly. I blush at the sight and I want to look away. In fact, I even turn my head...but instinctively, I find myself looking back.
He rakes his fingers through his hair and I am mesmerized by the intensity of his back muscles. He must work out. A lot. Catching me off guard, Guzmán turns his head back towards where I stand and I quickly duck to the floor of the balcony. I peak at him, seeing him turn back around and I cautiously stand back up. I watch as he dives into the now disturbed water, swimming naked and proud without a care in the world.
