Here she is... Mama Mochizuki (❁´◡`❁)

I'm still figuring out her clothing and stuff but here's a few doodles! I love her...

I'll add AU explanations and stuff below the cut (●'◡'●)

Her eyes are (normally) red to reflect her time as the moon! I'm thinking on giving her a Dark Hour alt, not sure what the specifics are for that yet though...

She chose to make her battle uniform (?) look like Nyx Avatar. Other times she wears normal clothing. The SEES armband was from Minako (who was #4 in this AU, Minato was #3). Ryoji will have Minato's armband. Here's context to why they have them!

She kept the chain around her neck from her time being sealed away, mostly as a reminder to herself of what she caused.

Nyx is definitely more aggressive than Ryoji (she's not the most hostile one in the group though- hi Yaldabaoth), and tends to jump into fights forgetting that she can't use her giant deity form to sweep the opponents. When she does have her awakening and is able to use her more powerful form, her face reflects Nyx Avatar's when using split-consciousness.

She will tell you allllllll about the arcana!

She gets along well enough with the rest of the group, in her down time she's usually hanging out with Izanami

Nyx is still learning how to care... especially about Ryoji. Of course, now she feels like she should be watching over him, but doesn't understand why. Ryoji knows what a parent is obviously, Nyx only recently learns how humans care for their children. She recognizes now that Ryoji is her son, and is making an effort to care for him. It takes a while for him to accept her efforts. All that being said! She's very talented at putting enemies to sleep. Forever.

She still has that massive sword

She may be old but that is not stopping her from flirting (with women)

She turned out more goth looking than I was intending but I kind of like the vibe

When she fits perfectly into the friendship dynamic and holding her hand while making dumb jokes with your friends feels so incredibly normal and perfect and you wonder if she was just meant to be in your life all along

a yawning, exhausted looking linhardt stands (generous to call it standing, with this abhorrent posture) before ferdinand. he could be catching a cold. he could be depressed. he looks like he's dissociating. but - ferdinand catches his eye, and linhardt's mouth pulls slightly into a sideways smile.

"i'm feeling dreadful," they tell ferdinand. "can you remind me who you are?"

a well-rested, half-heeled ferdinand stood opposite of him, the wind to his willow. his eyes flowered, holding in warmth like he was bearing the weight of the sun in his palms. (or, worse, taking whatever part of Linhardt's soul that wasn't tethered closely to the ground.)

"it is improper to call on her name in these circumstances, but good goddess, Linhardt. you haven't missed that many classes, have you?" with his jaw slightly ajar, he fretted with his bangs until they curtained around his fingers. canting his head to one side, a sigh rolled off his tongue. there were at least seven different little pins that rode up his mental list (plick, pluck— like little stars), and he wondered how many he could manage to posit before his fellow eagle took to his heels. "well, for one, you know me. surely you jest."

"perhaps," he climbed to a conclusion on his own, one finger tapping his chin. "you wish to humor me?" his lips pulled into a moonbeam of light.

"i am..." Chest full, fists resting on his hips, he laughed. "Ferdinand Von Aegir, of course."

"and you are..." Ferdinand felt a drop of sweat fall off his brow. "clearly not adhering to a noble's healthy lifestyle."

wagging his finger, concern painted over his glassy eyes. "i cannot fathom choosing to sleep in as you do, yet managing to retain nothing of it. are you not exercising? eating enough? shall we go now?"

Linhardt was a cryptic of the highest order to Ferdinand. teeming in intellect and a fascination bordering on obsession over crests, he didn't seem to want or even need to apply himself elsewhere. and, well. he wasn't just 'untapped potential,' he was a fully autonomous human being choosing to walk into every health hazard in the book. he was a beautiful mind. with a body about to hang off a flagstaff at the next breeze that caught him.

"if you are tired enough to forget me then perhaps a full course meal and a walk will do, hm?"
