Id kill to see arthurs reaction to the fandom. I know people talk about kayne being an insane fangirl, but how will he feel when he sees the mass, the sea of people just like his tormentor. We vote on how everything will go wrong then cheer and liveblog while kicking our feet then draw it then write it then relisten to it until our headphones die then we listen to it on our phone speaker. Debatably, we are worse than kayne because of the shear number of us, because we view kayne how kayne views arthur, as well because yes hes a god, but hed look really cute holding hands with arthur. forgot what i meant to be posting about earlier. was watching a video from a catholic priest on youtube the other day and one of the points was like. should we pray for the devil. and what he said was that unlike us, angels have a fixed nature, and that from the beginning of time satan chose to be the way that he is. so he cannot be saved. and therefore there is no reason to pray for him. which is fucking crazzyyyyyyyy!!!!! first of all what the fuck do you mean he's evil because he has always been that way. if he can't change then he doesn't really have free will. if he was that way from the very beginning then that means god created him that way. and if he was resigned to be fucked up and evil forever and ever then what was all the time he spent Not being fucked up and evil :| to rebel you have to be a part of the system first... is this implying that lucifer was sitting around going man i can't wait to try and overthrow god someday once he does something that upsets me... and god being omnipotent just went yeah this is fine. not going to address this until you do something ill advised at which time i will Cast You Down and Damn You Forever. not giving you a pass on this one god you literally made that guy that way :| and frankly just because he isn't going to change isn't a reason to pray for someone i think. we can never have too much compassion and hope and if we can carry it for someone reprehensible then we can carry it for everyone. and we Should carry it for everyone. that's like... the central thing... this is how we get discrimination by turning off our good will once we deem something evil or irreparable... which is all to say that that specific take on lucifer is fascinating and fucked up and wrong. and doesn't matter cause i like that guy better than god anyway. so.

Ugh, I feel like a dunce for buying into James Somerton for this long. There kept being small things that seemed off to me, and he always seemed kinda dismissive of the Ace community, but for some reason I just kept giving him the benefit of the doubt! At least now I know of a lot more actually genuine queer creators to follow.

How are ya’ll faring with all this?

We also feel like fools, because we gave that guy A LOTTA DOLLARS. It's honestly a little cathartic to be able to commiserate with others who have been wronged by James Somerton publicly this time. We did so a bit last year with some Nebula creators or other Aces who saw right through him, but we were all also facing harassment from James' followers, so we were sparing with the public details.

We think the very unintended manner in which we are experiencing BG3 (datamining the game and then reading all of the dialogue by manually going through the game files and reading the text) may be altering our impressions of the game slightly. If we ever release most of this shit we are probably going to need to stick a "disclaimer: author of this fanfiction mostly experienced this game via datamining, and may not be an accurate source on things like maps, because the wizard's computer cannot run BG3" on there. Unrelatedly, if any of you Tumblr users out there who are capable of running BG3 happen to be willing to hop on call with us and do nothing but take a freecam around the scenery for a while, we're open.

popping on here for a sec to yell abt the dragon age veilguard podcast. just finished the bellara episode and i am so impressed by the production value on this??? the sounds effects, the voice acting, the overarching story, the companions, the characters. god. it's all really really incredible. highly rec listening to it pre-da4 if you don't mind a few spoilers
