Gun Park with Amane Ubuyashiki reader, ft. Daniel Park (Part 1)

There are two ways that Gun can meet you. Either as a Himorogi or an Ubuyashiki.

• If you are a Himorogi, then you are still a student of religious studies in Shintoism. Your grades are so high and perfect that you became the class president of the Religious Studies Department (founded by yours truly). You are also very intelligent that you can rival student prodigies in the Science and Mathematics Department.

• Your beauty is also an aspect of what you are known for in Jaewon High , the large amount of admirers that worship your graceful and elegant aura is astonishing to the point where students thought you should've been in the Beauty and Cosmetics Department. A lot of women are jealous of you because of the same reason and some even threatened you, but you remained calm and expressionless. That lifeless look in your eyes intimidated many people but also made them feel drawn to your mysterious personality.

• You befriended Daniel after hearing him from Kagaya's crow. It told news about it witnessing one of the Ubuyashiki rivals, Charles Choi's daughter and bodyguard stepping into the school grounds. You immediately got up from your library study and head straight to the school festival.

• You made sure to keep distance from the pretty woman and black-eyed man to spy on them. Not even one hour and Gun is already starting a fight... Well, it's actually not him that started the fight, it's that Daniel Park boy who insisted on talking to the girl but the bodyguard prevented him from doing so.

• Luckily, Vasco interrupted before Gun can pulverize Daniel some more. The fight was broken off by Crystal and the two outsiders left the campus. You stepped out of the shadows and joined the injured two, offering them first aid. Vasco insisted that he doesn't need your help but was influenced by your persistent demeanor and let you treat his nose. You politely bowed to introduce yourself to the boys and looked at Daniel for permission to treat his bruise. The flustered handsome man nodded his head in a yes gesture. After that encounter, the rest of you enjoyed the music festival.

• Time flies by and your relationship with your peers improved. You managed to befriend Zoe, Mira, Zack, Vasco, Jace, and even Jay. But at the same time, you were emotionally distant and interacted with everyone only at arm's length. Your quiet behavior and creepy eyes unnerved them a bit.

• Daniel is starting to question you why you became more involved in his life and you answered,

Amane! Reader: "I saw the way you fought that man... If Gun sees potential in you to be his successor, then we'll all be doomed."

Daniel: "...C-Come again...?"

• You explained to Daniel that if Gun were to recruit him, he will train Daniel the ways of a merciless and ruthless fighter and if he succeeds his training through further recruitment from the higher ups, he will be tasked by Charles Choi to destroy the Ubuyashiki family and the Himorogi family as well as the connections that are tied to the two clans.

• Your family may be representatives of several Shinto shrines but even they have some connections with the Ubuyashiki clan, who own a corporation of highly trained fighters targeting gangs and other illegal unions. The corporation is large enough to reach from Japan to South Korea and their most powerful fighters guard and control districts undercover. These top fighters are called Hashiras and each one of them have a reason for joining the corporation as well as a reason to fight. Their fighters are known for having constant conflict with an organization called The Twelve Kizuki.

• Unfortunately, Gun Park, one of the top fighters from one of the corporation's rivals, is eliminating the fighters one by one, causing a major problem for the corporation. You plan on recruiting Daniel and train him to defeat Gun, even telling Daniel that the corporation offers rewards and incentives if he joins you but it still his choice to make whether he wants to work with you or not.

• Weeks passed, due to the increasing homework and performance tasks dumped handed by the teachers, your friends are too worried about the deadline and forgot about that incident. You, on the other hand, counted each day after that. Who knows when Choi will strike?

• One day, you decided to ask Daniel for his final answer and walked home with him. However the moment is ruined when an expensive looking sports car suddenly parked in front of you. The driver of the car came out and look who it is... Gun Park himself.

• Daniel became alert but you remained calm. You can tell by Daniel's stance that he's ready to throw hands. Gun ignored the sudden defensiveness and then asked the boy if he's reconsidered his offer. Outwardly, you are unfazed by the interaction but internally, you are surprised at the hint that Daniel may or may not have told you about Gun's offer. Gun walked closer to you two and stared at Daniel for any indication of the boy changing his mind but you stepped in front of Daniel.

Amane! Reader: "Excuse me for interrupting, but we have somewhere urgent we need to go."

• He made eye contact with you and leaned closer, his height intimidated many but you stood your ground. An awkward silence fills the tense atmosphere as you and the tall man engage in a silent glaring contest. It felt like the abyss is glaring back at the void.

Gun: "Hey. Move."

Amane! Reader: "... I'm sorry but I won't."

• Well, this looks like it'll be difficult to shake him off. He's the first to cut the glaring when he turns his piercing gaze at Daniel. He walked past you and placed his hand on Daniel's shoulder, he brings his mouth close to his ear and whispered...

Gun: "Listen here... if you want to train your body to its fullest potential and master techniques to an extent, then accept my offer, yeah?"

Daniel: "........."

• Gun drew his hand back to his pocket and smirked. Daniel didn't respond and just looked at you with guilt in his eyes.

• Don't tell me... He's actually thinking of...?

• A blur flashed by your eyes as Gun almost kicked you in the side of your head but his leg stopped mid-air. The black-eyed man is actually impressed that you didn't flinch. Daniel was about to intervene your little confrontation but stopped after you held your hand up as if to signal a stop sign to him.

• You look at Gun, no fear evident in your eyes. It's almost as if you're mocking him...

Amane! Reader: "Is that all?"

Gun: "....Yes."

• The man didn't say anything further and went back to his car but not without reminding Daniel of the offer's deadline and then drove off.

• You and Daniel continued to walk home. He wanted to apologize but you gave him a final warning to never accept Gun's offer and left.

• You grew more worried about Daniel as he makes his way to one of the top fighters in school, making enemies left and right. But he also gained allies. Like you, for example, you keep reporting to Ubuyashiki as to protect Daniel from the eyes of other organizations. However, Gun was getting impatient.

• Gun was called in by Charles Choi for a new task. He gave him an assignment that requires him to bribe someone and if they decline, he must kill them. An typical assignment that bores him to the point where he thinks that Goo was more suited for the job. But all it took was one glance at your file and he became interested. Charles noted Gun's eyes filled with recognition upon scanning through your profile and assumed he was at least familiar with you.

• He kept the file and walked out of the office, he'll read more of it in his car. No wonder you're so protective of Daniel Park. You had an ulterior motive for keeping that guy away from him.

• The bell rings and you go outside of the entrance gate to wait for Daniel, in hopes of hearing his decision. Your wait was interrupted by car rolling its window down which revealed Gun Park as the driver. Your body froze. This is bad. Daniel hasn't exited his classroom. And you're certain that this man is MUCH more powerful than you in terms of strength.

• The man got out of his car and begin slowly approach you. Every painfully slow step he takes towards you feels like you're facing a demon... He stops and just stares at you. Despite the difference between your intimidation tactics, you're not backing down. Another glare-down with hidden conflict was engaged. Both of you neither talked, just glared. The only sound there is are the loudly chatting students exiting from the school's entrance.

• After a long while, Daniel still hasn't arrived, and the loudness of the students become muffled until they've gone their way home. The silence was no longer on your side anymore, it's making you uncomfortable enough to speak first...

Amane! Reader: "... Pardon me, may I ask for what motive do you have to come all the way here?"

Gun: "...I'm not gonna waste both of our time... I have a proposition for you."

Amane! Reader: "... A proposition?"

Gun: "Yeah... It's simple. If you leave Daniel Park, you live. If you won't, you die. Deal?"

Amane! Reader: "And what makes you think I'll accept this one-sided offer?"

Gun: "Does the name Charles Choi sound familiar?"

Amane! Reader: "..............."

Gun: "He wants you to work for him. For you to leave the Ubuyashiki corp. You get paid and other benefits."

Amane! Reader: "......How do you..."

Gun: "Read your profile. From the looks of it, you're more than just the Ubuyashiki head's right hand. You're also the head of the Himorogi family's Shinto shrines. I commend you... Not everyone is talented at hiding their identity for so long... Not even from that brat... So, what do you say?"

Amane! Reader: "I am not easily swayed by mere threats and bribes. If you don't have anything else to say, then have a good evening."

• You tried to walk away to get Daniel but a hand grabbed your shoulder and pinned you to the wall. The impact of your back to the cement was strong enough to put cracks on the wall. Gun's gripping hand digs into your skin, you're pretty sure that your bone cracked as well. It was so painful that you wanted to scream help but you know that he'll drag you and kill you. You have no choice but to endure the pain. Just for a bit.

• Gun's piercing jet black eyes glared down at you filled with bloodlust, urging you to give up and surrender. But you still didn't squirm, no trace of pain was evident on your face, not even a wince. You glared back at him...

Gun: "........This is your last warning....."

Amane! Reader: "..........I....Humbly...... Decline....."

• ... Until he let go. He draws his hand back as if he merely squashed a bug. There's hint of irritation on his face. He doesn't understand how a weakling with no fighter's will or experience in fighting stand their ground against him. But for some reason he felt... intimidated?

• For now, he'll let you go.

Amane! Reader: "....... Daniel is a good person..... He'll fight if he needs to..."

Gun: ".... We'll see about that."

"AMANE! READER!!"

• Ah, speaking of Daniel, here he comes now. He ran toward you and stood in front of you, shielding you away from Gun. Daniel held his arms up and shouted at Gun.

Daniel: "What do you want from them?! If you want to fight, then fight me! Don't involve them!"

Gun: "No, they are very much involved."

Amane! Reader: "Daniel, I'm fine. Please don't fight."

Daniel: "W-what? But he..."

Amane! Reader: "I'm sure Gun was just in the middle of leaving.

Gun: "......Yeah. I'm not in the mood right now... I'm leaving."

Daniel: "H-huh...?"

• Well that was unexpected... Usually Gun is constantly in fight mode. He's leaving without a fight from Daniel? The man practically can't survive a day without a fight. But today he withdraws. Daniel put his arms down and just looked dumbfounded. He has lots of questions for you.

• Gun opened the door to his car, he was about to climb in but he looked at you...

Gun: "Hey... Himorogi."

Amane! Reader: "...?"

Gun: "Whatever the hell's wrong with you, I like your boldness. That deal is offered once so expect to be hunted down."

Amane! Reader: "... I'm aware."

• With that, he drove off to report to Charles. He definitely knows that Goo will tease him about his withdrawal and "How the mighty Shiro Oni was scared off by a weakling." He'll have to punch his jaw harder later.

• ..........................

• He couldn't get his mind off of you... Those lifeless, void eyes of yours reminded him of his own, except that they have a somewhat tranquil yet secretive charm. How does the expression go? The eyes are the windows to the soul? Is that how they say it?

• Hmm... It looks like Daniel's answer is going to have to wait. He needs to know more about you...

• As he learned more about you, he realized that you were far more intelligent and mentally stronger than he thought. According to whatever information Kouji gathered, you faced off enemies of the Corp. without even lifting a finger.

• When facing an opponent, you would place hidden traps ahead of time before observing and memorizing the loopholes of the opponent's fighting style. And since you have an expressionless face and laser-focused eye contact, it makes harder for the opponent to predict your next move.

• Your physical strength is low but your mental and academical strength exceeded greatly to the point where you negotiated with leaders from gangs without much conflict. These information intrigued Gun to the point where he thought observing you himself in the shadows.

• He learned that your abilities earned you respect from both the school and the corp. Although some of the fighters there don't cooperate well with each other, you are patient and maintained a calm demeanor towards all of them, while their differing personalities unfazed you. You trained yourself with advanced leadership skills that are equivalent to the Master's in order to give proper commands.

• From all the Hashira fighters Gun has defeated, all of them remained loyal and never revealed who you or the Master are. Even if they won and returned to you with broken bones and regretted ever taking damage, you and the Master would forgive them for their mistakes, brush it off and call it progress.

• You managed to lead both the corp, your family's Shinto shrines, school assignments, and aiding your ill Master, all at the same time. Gun has never seen such loyalty before. To think all of this weight of responsibilities on your shoulders from a young age to 17. You are truly worthy of the Ubuyashiki head's right hand title.

• You really are interesting... Gun makes sure that when you two cross paths again, he'll fight you to see for himself.

Honestly, they wished you were afraid of them sometimes. Then maybe you could see how they weren’t good for you. But then again, they were relieved you weren't afraid. It meant you trusted them, and that trust meant everything to them.

Gun Park x Reader: Injuries

Gun, the miserable bastard, is actually not great with injuries.

Anything skin deep, sure, he can deal with. Bruises and scrapes are not a problem.

Except his fighting skills and talent means he hardly ever sustains an actual injury, and the few times he has, he has been absolutely insufferable about it.

(Goo Kim would attest to that, in a rare show of solidarity with you.)

And if anyone asked Gun if he pouts, he would likely floor them.

However, you know much better as you watch him, struggling with an arm out of commission and almost every inch of skin littered with cuts, trying to dress himself.

"Let me do it," you roll your eyes at his attempt to button the shirt with one hand.

He frowns as you approach him, eyes boring into yours.

"Well?" You question, clocking his expression and reluctance, and you fold your arms waiting for his answer.

"Fine." He looks away with pursed lips, clearly unhappy with the situation.

"You big baby," you mutter, fingers coming to thread each button through the hole. 

You feel him staring at you again. You refuse to acknowledge him, glancing only briefly to his face, and notice his eyes are narrowed and his lips are down turned - bottom one slightly jutted out.

Definitely pouting.

"Johan really did a number on you, didn't he," you smirk, finishing your task then with a gentle grip, cup his chin, angle his face every which way under the light to inspect the damage.

Gun is compliant, even as he tells you to go fuck yourself.

He sighs to himself, wondering if he's gotten too soft. Not because of his current state, but who else does he allow to get away with calling him a baby, mocking him, and not beating them to a pulp.

The only consolation, he supposes, is the extra attention and care you give him.

You're the one who's eyes widened with concern when you first notice that he's hurt, rushing over to check that he's ok as you swallow down the lump in your throat and pretend that you don't want to cry.

Then once you're sure he's fine, you bandage him even as your tongue is sharp and taunting at how careless and weak he is.

It doesn't matter what you say though, your careful touch reveals how you truly feel.

And when Gun is recovering, you're the one looking out for him and by his side. All the time poking fun and calling him a baby.

He lets this slide, because yes he's soft for you, but you're soft for him too.

But one thing Goo didn't know is that you could tell when he lied - he smiled wide, too wide. You don't even know if he was aware of this tell himself, but you sure as hell were.

Even if you didn't recognize his lying smile, he was just too obvious. A homeless man? Robbed? Goo Kim? Only an idiot would believe him.

It didn't make the constant lies to your face any better. It just hurt.

Hurt knowing that he didn't trust you, didn't confide in you, left you behind for who knows what shady business. 

And he acted as if everything was normal.

You had reached your limit.

After an awkward silence, you finally spoke up. "Aren't you going to tell me what's wrong?" Goo said, frustration evident in his voice.

"I-I didn't actually expect you to come," you admitted nervously.

"What do you mean? You said you were in danger–" Goo paused, realization dawning on him. "Oh."

"Yep. Now that you're here, we need to talk about a lot of things— where are you going?" you asked, seeing Goo head towards the door.

"Out," he replied curtly, reaching for the doorknob.

You immediately blocked the door. "Out where?"

"Out to get some air," Goo said dismissively, trying to downplay the situation.

"We're not done here. You can't just show up and then leave."

Goo sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Look, I’m late."

"Late for what?" you insisted, your voice rising.

Seeing Goo go silent, you continued, "You’ve been like this for months now. I waited for you to explain, but you never did."

Goo opened his mouth to respond, but you kept talking, the words tumbling out rapidly. “So tell me what is going on right now, or I swear I will–”

Before you could continue, Goo stepped closer and gently placed his finger over your lips, hushing you. His eyes locked with yours, and you fell silent.

“Or you will what?” Goo asked.

You slapped his arm away. “I’ll do something really bad,” you said.

Goo rolled his eyes. “Like what?”

As soon as he said that, he felt a burning pain between his legs and collapsed to the ground, breathless and numb.

“That,” you said, a smile on your face.

“Owww,” Goo whined, starting his dramatics.

Rolling your eyes, you sat on the floor next to him, side-eyeing him as he rolled around. Having enough, you grabbed his hair and made him face you. “Tell me,” you said.

"I love you."

You froze, heart pounding at Goo's confession. He took the moment to gently remove your grip and pull you down to lay beside him, never letting go of your hand.

Your hand trembled in his grasp.

"I want to tell you everything, but it's dangerous. I don't want them to find out about you," Goo continued, his voice calm.

"W-who's them?" you asked hesitantly, anxiety creeping in.

"Bad people," he replied vaguely.

"Who are the bad people?" you pressed.

"Evil people," Goo said simply.

Rolling your eyes, you turned to face him, your noses almost touching. "You're being very vague."

A small smile played across his lips. "I want to be."

You frowned. "So you'll never tell me the full truth?"

"I will, just not right now. It's better if you can enjoy your life without this weighing on you," he said, tenderly brushing a stray hair from your face.

"And what about you? Will you be able to enjoy your life?" The thought of Goo suffering alone made your chest ache.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," he assured you, though his eyes betrayed a hint of sadness.

"That just makes me worry more," you confessed, holding his gaze imploringly.

Goo let out a soft sigh. "I'm sorry, truly. I hate keeping things from you..."

You both laid there in silence for a few moments as Goo's thumb gently caressed the back of your hand, a tender gesture that didn't quite ease the ache in your heart.

Finally, you took a deep breath and met his gaze again. "I don't like this, keeping secrets from each other," you said quietly but firmly.

"Doesn't feel right after everything we've been through together."

"Believe me, I hate it too. More than anything, I want to be fully open with you." He brought your entwined hands up, pressing his lips to your knuckles.

"But some truths are better left unsaid, at least for now, to keep you safe."

You opened your mouth to protest, but he gently shushed you again. "I'm not in any immediate danger, I promise. This is more about protecting your peace of mind."

Letting out a frustrated sigh, you reluctantly nodded. As much as it pained you, you knew you had to trust Goo's judgment on this.

"Just...promise me one thing?" you asked, your eyes pleading.

"Anything," he replied without hesitation.

"Don't shut me out completely," you said, your voice wavering slightly. "I need you, even if I can't know every detail right now. We're partners, right?"

Goo's features softened, and he leaned in to rest his forehead against yours. "Always, I'm not going anywhere. I'll tell you what I can."

It wasn't a perfect solution, but for now, it would have to be enough. You nuzzled closer, letting the solidity of his embrace ease your worries, if only temporarily.

You sat on the balcony's doorstep, watching the storm and pretty city lights. The rain pattered against the concrete, and flashes of lightning illuminated the skyline, casting a glow over the buildings. 

You enjoyed the quietness and peacefulness, but you felt empty inside, a hollowness that couldn't be filled by the beauty surrounding you.

As the wind picked up, sending a chill through your body, you gazed out into the night, lost in thought. Suddenly, you felt the warmth of a blanket being draped over your shoulders. 

Before you had a chance to turn around, a familiar figure sat behind you, their arms encircling you, holding you close. All at once, you felt a comforting warmth envelop you, and you knew exactly who it was.

In that moment, the emptiness disappeared, replaced by a sense of contentment and belonging. 

You leaned back into his embrace, letting the sound of his steady breathing and the rain calm you, "When did you get home?" you whispered, savoring the warmth of his body against yours.

You felt him move, his lips brushing against the crook of your neck as he placed a tender kiss there. "A few seconds ago, I was looking for you," he murmured, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down your spine.

Melting into his arms, you sighed contentedly. "I didn't hear you," you admitted.

He chuckled softly, the vibration resonating through his chest and into your back. "You seemed lost in thought," he said, tightening his hold on you ever so slightly. "What's on your mind?"

Turning your head, you met his gaze, those eyes that always seemed to peer straight into your soul. "Nothing in particular," you replied, offering him a small smile. "Just enjoying the view."

His thumb traced gentle circles on your arm as he studied your face, a tender expression on his own. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" he said, his tone laced with concern.

Nodding, you leaned in and brushed your lips against his, a soft, reassuring kiss. "I know," you whispered, feeling the weight of the world lift from your shoulders in his presence.  

He pulled you closer, his arms a comforting anchor, and asked, "Have you eaten anything today?"

A chuckle escaped your lips at his concern. "I should be asking you that. I know they don't really care about anything other than if you're pretty and scandal-free," you teased lightly as you flicked his pink hair in his face.

Shaking his head with a laugh, he pressed a kiss to your temple. "You know me too well," he murmured against your skin. "But I'm more worried about you. You tend to forget about taking care of yourself when you get lost in that beautiful mind of yours."

You rolled your eyes playfully, but couldn't deny the truth in his words. "Alright, alright, you've caught me," you conceded, turning in his embrace to face him properly. "I may have skipped a meal or two today, but only because I was so absorbed in my writing."

His brow furrowed in that adorable way it did when he was concerned for you, and you reached up to smooth away the crease with your fingertips. "Promise me you'll eat something soon?" he urged, capturing your hand and pressing a kiss to your knuckles.

Gazing into his eyes, you were struck once again by the depth of his love and devotion, you didn’t know how you got so lucky. "Only if you promise to do the same," you countered with a soft smile. "Deal?"

The corners of his eyes crinkled as he returned your smile, his thumb caressing the back of your hand. "Deal," he agreed, sealing the promise with a tender kiss that made your heart flutter.

You both pulled away from the kiss, slightly dazed and breathless. As you gazed into his eyes, filled with so much adoration, the words tumbled from your lips before you could stop them. 

"I love you, James."

A look of surprise flashed across his face for the briefest of moments before melting into an expression of pure joy. 

His eyes crinkled at the corners as a smile spread across his lips. "And I love you," he murmured, cradling your face in his hands. 

Leaning his forehead against yours, he let out a contented sigh, “More than you could ever imagine."

🚬 Gun wouldn’t do it out of his own, it’s either because he wants the money or because Charles asked him to. The only child he’ll watch/ take care of willingly is Yenna.

🚬 Gun needs to know it advance if he will babysit a child, that way he will not smoke for a few days to really ‘cleanse’ his body. Aka making sure his breath and clothes dont stink like cigarettes

🚬 He’s not a type that baby talks. He’ll talk normally and have a regular conversation with the baby, yet seems to understand what they are saying, even the parents are amazed.

🚬 ‘baby, do you think speed beats brute strength in a fight?’ *baby gurgling* ‘yes, me too, i think they are both good in their own way. What a smart baby you are’

🚬 Usually when he’s outside or needs to run arrands with the baby he has those baby carriers. He’ll put the baby in it and usually keep one hand on their head to make sure they don’t bump their head and to show affection.

🚬 sometimes he lets them climb onto him if they’re in crawling stage. He’ll make sure that they won’t be harmed and his UI helps with reflexes so he’ll catch them for sure. He’s probably not moving an inch when they do so too.

🚬 even though he doesn’t show much affection nor baby talks, he finds them absolutely adorable. He likes those chonky cheeks and often caresses the baby on their cheek. Ofcourse he washes his hands and uses hand sanitizer.

🚬 sometimes when he takes off his sunglasses the baby takes interests in it and reaches out for it. For gun its no problem since the baby is then occupied doing something else, meaning he doesn’t have to entertain them as they are doing it themselves. And he probably has 100 other sunglasses at home.

🚬 jonggun likes quiet babies or very cheerful babies. He experienced lots with different kind of reactions, for example the babies crying when they see his eyes, or parents whispering that he looks demonic. Which he doesn’t care about tbh

🚬 the best thing about it is his paycheck. I feel like jonggun would want a slight high pay for taking care of the baby. But it has its positive side as he’s very good with the baby depending in terms of safety and taking care of them.

🚬 his opinions on changing their nappy is divided. When the baby lets him do his thing he’d be pretty chill with it. But when they start rolling around and crawling away he had to take a very big sigh. And he’ll probably charge you for that.

💳He would actually be 50/50 babysitting but do it regularly as a side job from his main job, and yes it’ll probably be illegal cause he 100% wants it in cash and won’t pay taxes for it.

💳 He thinks all babies are cute, pinches their cheeks, cradles them, holds them in the air, baby talks. This man would become a nanny if he could, but ofcourse it’s all for the money🤑

💳 Goo isn’t a fan of nappy changing, he dislikes it yet knows its an important part of his job. Although it’s rough sometimes. Especially when he deals with it outside for example or he finds himself in a difficult situation where he cant change them, he always manages to do it eventually

💳 He will take them out for walks and actually carry them despite having a baby carrier clasped on his chest. He will go to the park, do some shopping. Do some cooking. Do some talking. Just everything to entertain the baby.

💳 probably buys the baby things if they grab something in the store or seem to stare at something. If it keeps them entertained its all the better. And it’s not expensive either so he doesn’t complain much about it.

💳 dresses the baby in cute outfits. Usually he lays all the outfits on the floor and lets the baby crawl to which on the like, he does it with everything. Jumpers, shirts, bows, shoes, skirts, dresses. Anything.

💳 he’ll have beef with the parents for buying baby stuff and not following the diet and basically taking them anywhere. Some will let him do it again and others won’t.

💳 even if he thinks babies are cute. He HATES the sound of them crying. He’ll panic, get exhausted, try to get them to stop but still fail and then just sit there rethinking his life.

💳 He and Jonggun would lowkey meet up when both of them are babysitting. And let the babies play with each other while they talk about various things.

💳 despite Goo having money and being able to afford high end baby foods. He prefers to cook or blend and make his own. Ofcourse making sure the baby isn’t allergic to anything, he’ll usually make soup or porridge for the baby and decorate it so that they won’t refuse to eat it.

🍭 Man is poor okay, even if he works under Charles blud was still in his highschool student phase so he was probably broke asf and needed money. And no he aint watching crystal.

🍭 He, like Goo, also thinks babies are cute and prefers them over toddlers. That’s because toddlers can be very spoiled or run away and blud does NOT have the energy for it.

🍭 He likes the smell of baby powder. So when he has to powder the baby he uses it too. He sniffs baby powder instead of drugs.

🍭 james feels really protective for the babies he’s sitting. He think’s they’re super tiny and fragile what makes his heart melt but also feel very protective from his instinct.

🍭 when he holds the baby he lets them munch on his muscles if they’re teething. He doesn’t rly mind and as long as they’re not in pain he just thinks it’s fine.

🍭 people mistake him as being a single teenage dad most of the time. ‘Hey did you see the dude with the red hair and the baby?’ ‘Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me if he has a kid, he’s probably bussing it down’ he was in fact, not bussing it down.

🍭 he’ll use the baby to practice his tests. As in he’ll explain what he had to learn to the baby and practice his presentations. The baby usually claps after he’s done or giggles what makes him super happy

🍭 He’ll also try to teach the baby how to speak and walk depending on how old they are, he’ll help with their development and speaks with them. He often curses because well he’s a teen, but tries his best not to use it in front of the baby

🍭 the most reliable out of all the 3 tbh. He’s more a big brother type to the baby than a nanny/ care taker. He’ll come see the baby if he had time. Or for example says hi if he sees them at the park with their parents.

🍭 He’s not the type to use a baby carrier but rather a stroller cause he doesn’t have to carry the baby all the time and can let them sit/ lay in it. Especially when they get sleepy. He likes strolling outside with the baby and going to the park/ beach

🍭 baby will be home safe and happy if James is the one who babysat. And he’s 100% asked to baby sit again. Which made him popular but because he has school he only had standard ppl he’ll sit for.

G/N. Goo is a menace and Gun loves you.

"Who's that pretty thing?"

Goo cranes his neck, adjusts his glasses at who Gun had his arm around mere moments ago, and tries to take a closer look at you.

Gun refrains from snarling, knowing the reaction would only spur him on.

Using the act of taking a drag on his cigarette, Gun subtly moves closer to your body, shielding you from his partner's malicious gaze.

"Off limits," he replies, blowing smoke in Goo's face.

Gun knows he can be possessive, obsessive. 'Gets hooked on people' as Goo put it. However, he has never thought of himself as any sort of a guardian figure, preferring if people could hold their own in a fight.

Yet with you, he can't help the flare of protectiveness. The need to keep you safe. From dangers and wandering eyes and interest from over curious fools.

"Now now, no need to be like that." The blonde responds, wafting the smoke away with a cough and a sputter.

How intriguing that Gun is working so hard to hide you away. You must be a lot of fun. Simply precious.

Undeterred, Goo re-angles himself; directing his smile, stretched too wide and dripping with ulterior motives, past Gun's tense and defensive stance to you. Decides to go for charming instead of predatory, opens his mouth, prepared to sweep you off your feet and-

Gun steps completely into view, shifting in front of you so Goo has no choice but to stare at the black eyed demon and to face his wrath.

Gives his first and last warning, "Look for a second longer and it'll be your last breath."

"Ugh!" Goo pouts, visibility deflating at how serious Gun is. "You used to be a lot more fun," He mutters, then perks right back up without missing a beat, "Sweetheart, I can show you a much better time-"

The cigarette falls from Gun's grip and his hand snaps to Goo's arm, seconds away from weaselling its way around your shoulder.

Obsidian eyes flashing dangerously, "Don't you dare-"

With a sigh, Goo retreats and wriggles free. 

Takes a step back and holds both hands up in surrender. 

"Touchy." He tuts, throwing a dirty look at Gun.

"Nevermind," he shoves his hands in his pockets and shrugs, "I have some secret friends to meet anyway. Let me know if you ever get bored of him, sweetheart."

Goo grins at you before striding off and you feel a shiver down your spine.

You felt like prey trapped between two monsters. No, that's unfair. One monster that looks like they want to devour you alive, and the other - Gun Park. Your Gun.

Who has tried to shield you from everything. From the rain to the unsavoury side of his life and now to his unhinged coworker. Who kisses you intensely and treats you like you're the only one, the only thing that matters.

Gun senses your discomfort, notices the tightness in your body language. He reaches for you, pulling you into his body and wrapping his arms around you.

His eyes bore into yours.

"Are you ok?" He asks, and you can feel his voice rumbling in his chest.

The tension had also crept up on Gun. With each word from Goo Kim, each moment his eyes were on you.

It's unnerving. He's not used to this. He never expected to care about anyone's wellbeing except his own but now he's in your orbit - you're all he cares about.

"M'good," you tell him, leaning into him and voice muffled, feeling safe in his embrace.

Gun exhales.

While I personally dislike the love at first sight trope, this guy would absolutely double take if there was something that caught his eye and then he would be his normal extroverted and clingy self to get to know you.

This fucking charmer. Yes he's annoying, but even then he gets under your skin and you can't help falling for him too.

Also a fan of the hot-and-cold-casual-fuck-buddies dynamic. He'll see you every day for a week, wake up in your bed then ghost you for a month. Rinse and repeat. After a little while - oh. Goo realises he misses you.

Lots of inner turmoil as he gets to grips with his emotions and how to deal with you. A little bit of push and pull before he eventually admits how he feels.

Ryuhei Kuroda/Xiaolong

Just meeting someone, anyone who is the opposite of Mitsuki and Vivi. Showing them what a normal healthy person, with normal healthy interests looks like. Show them kindness, show them your sweet smile, show them you don't want anything apart from just them and they will fall for you.

Ryuhei - Not really much guilt with moving on from Mitsuki because face it. They weren't exactly anything.

Xiaolong - oof. The most angsty hurt/comfort you can think of.

Zack Lee

Long-ish time friend, but nothing progressed due to his feelings for Mira. Gradually circumstances bring you both closer together. Tending to his wounds, school projects, maybe even shopping for a gift for Mira.

Start to see you in a new light. Deals with a lot of denial at first and then later, guilt. Unsurprisingly, it's Mira that notices the change in Zack and encourages him to pursue you.

Vasco Tabasco/Jace Park

Classmate of theirs through J-high or knew them from middle school. Help to tutor Vasco or just generally up to some shit with Jace. Maybe playing detective.

Not involved with Burn Knuckles, but you might as well be. With Vasco or Jace, the rest of the crew treats you with the same level of respect as their No.1/2 and will protect you at all costs.

Relatively straightforward friends to lovers, with all the worries of gang shit.

Vin Jin

Love the idea of Vin Jin, Mary and You being best buds together. Either from Cheonliang or you getting closer to Vin through Mary once they attend J-High.

An absolute asshole though he is a little softer towards you. Takes him a while to fall for you and see you in a new light. Is so used to you as a friend that it will take someone else interfering or an event.

Jake Kim

Childhood friend to lovers. You knew him before he joined Big Deal and/or while he was a tall lanky middle school kid.

Always had a soft spot for you. Walking you home from school, spending evenings in the library messing around, hanging in the park. Once he joined Big Deal and you started high school, it added some distance between you but Jake still could never get you off his mind.

Eventually reconciling and slow burn into lovers. Dealing with all the usual angst of Jake putting you in danger and risking your safety by being with him. Hint: he gets over it eventually. Or else it turns into angsty regret (my personal fave!).

DG/James Lee

You know him from his James Lee days and go way back. Either classmates together or another very typical show-him-a-little-kindness and then wormed your way into his heart.

Sees you more and more, and no matter what, you're never judgemental of him and you're able to talk to him like a normal human being - which is a rarity. Growing closer together until he starts to confide in you. One day, James just realises you're the closest person to him and he likes you. You have grown and grown on him until it's obvious and completely hits him over the head with it.

Progress into lovers is very straightforward. You stick with him through thick and thin. Even with his transition into DG, you're the one constant in his life that he keeps close by and protects.

Eli Jang

Know Eli from his J-high days and always been good buddies with you. Sure you could tell he's good looking but you didn't put him on a pedestal.

Eventually growing closer to him and also meeting Yenna. Which is a huge step, by the way. Eli is so goddamn protective of her and when you are both introduced he thinks 'huh? this is? nice??'. Loves the idea of a happy family.
