“When?”
“I don’t know,” Clarke confesses.
Rika nods, biting her own lip before continuing, “It’s because of her, right?”
“She would never hurt me,” Clarke defends quickly.
Rika nods, getting her answer. She’s silent for a moment, her blue eyes connecting with Clarke’s.
“She died because of you too,” she says, not asking, merely stating a fact.
Clarke blinks back her tears before nodding, once. Rika nods, closing her eyes before speaking.
“Ridiyo Hodnes Wamplei Soujon,” Rika mumbles to herself, taking a deep breath before explaining, “There are legends of those whose love are so strong that they travel after death to be together.”
Clarke’s eyebrows raise, “What?”
“There have been some that have said they are from the future to be with their love. I never did believe in it, since they all end up dead.”
Clarke chuckles sadly, “Doesn’t everybody?”

What I think different batfam and co members would do in the first season of the100 because the hyperfixation is back
Bruce- is a part of the council, was against sending the 100 to the ground, almost sacrificed himself when they needed to kill 300 people, became a doctor like his father
Dick- alright so I’m mixing in a bit of book lore with him, he was arrested for stealing for the younger kids in the orphanage for years (not sure if it’s called that in the arc), was almost 18 when the 100 were sent to the ground and on the ground he took the role of a leader a lot like Bellamy
Jason- after Dick was arrested he replaced him with carrying for the younger kids, after they got to the ground he was attacked by grounders while following Dick to find mount weather and almost died, after his near death experience he was really into fighting the grounders while Dick negotiated peace
Tim- part of the elite in the arc (his parents are in the council) was never arrested (doesn’t mean he didn’t commit any crimes because he definitely did) so wasn’t part of the 100, he figured out the 100 were sent to the ground and went to Bruce knowing Bruce was against it, Bruce told him about the oxygen problem and helped him find a way to go to the ground, Tim revealed to the public the oxygen problem and escaped to the ground, when he got there he helped with negotiating for peace but when it didn’t work he did everything so they would survive against the grounders, his mom died while the arc landed and his dad was severely injured, he wasn’t taken to mount weather
Cass- she's nightblood grounder who ran away so she wouldn't have to be in the conclave one day (gonna get into more details on her background post)
Steph- was arrested for getting pregnant (a lot like Glass in the books) but unlike Glass she did tell who actually get her pregnant and got him floated, wanted to do anything to make sure her and the rest of the 100 survived no matter if it meant actual genocide
Damian- he would definitely eat on the ground but he would never get arrested, after he found out about the100 he thought it was the right decision because that what had to be done to make sure the survival of the human race which caused a huge fight with Bruce
Bernard- on the arc was training to be a doctor but was arrested for using too much medicine on a patient, the patient ended up surviving because of that but Bernard was still arrested, on the ground he was the healer for the rest of the 100, wasn’t taken to mount weather
#I might countinue this later#the 100#dc comics#dc universe#batman#batfam#bruce wayne#dick grayson#nightwing#jason todd#red hood#Jason and Tim were the ones who pushed the button in mount weather#probably#tim drake#red robin#cassandra cain#orphan#black bat#batgirl#stephanie brown#spoiler#damian wayne#robin#bernard dowd

Do you have anymore lore or ideas on how Cybertronian rain works? Like how different cities or peoples deal with it, maybe it’s worshipped in some areas, or maybe something completely different!
How did I miss this request??? HOW did I miss this??? Worldbuilding ANYTHING is one of my favorite things to do.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙
On Cybertron, rain as those from Earth know it, simply does not exist. Rains on Cybertron are dangerous hazards to be avoided at all costs. Formed from millennia of smog and the odd interactions with passing stars, its all acid without a drop of actual water to be seen. It is a problem not a spark can fully escape as there is simply no way to stop the rains from happening after so long of the planet being left under the control of mecha and other beings who do not at all care for pollution.
Of course due to the rains being a fact of life, mecha adapted and dealt with it in their own ways.
The floating city of Vos had its own unique methods of dealing with the rains due to how often the storms raged around it. The citizens of Vos created spires, ones with shields built into them to ward off the worst of the rains from above. The shields caused flooding on lower levels that was quite deadly, but to fliers that meant little as they simply took to the skies and waited until the liquid drained down and out of the city. They also created walls around the borders of their city to keep the harsh winds from carrying the deadly substance into their settlement. The walls tended to need constant repair, but such was the cost of safety and not being melted alive. This was of course not a perfect method of keeping the rains from causing damage, no, it merely stopped the worst of it from affecting the city due to the fact that the storms raged on all sides. Individual mecha still found themselves required to remain indoors and to carry shields with them should they decide to travel. Going anywhere by air was a death sentence, and so to combat this while still keeping the city going, most mecha took the skyline systems built for visiting grounders to get around.
Cities within and close to mountain ranges and canyons like Durax, Tyrest, and Tarn had different methods of protecting themselves. Their high caste civilians fled to underground keeps where the acid could not reach, ones built into the canyons. Middle caste civilians had to hope and pray that the walls kept the winds from carrying the acid too close to their residences. Most of them were forced to seek shelter wherever they could, leading to the time tested tradition of total strangers becoming a family of sorts as they waited for the storms to end in whatever building they holed up in. Lower caste mecha did what they could but often ended up precariously huddled underneath hovels if that was possible, or if not, they had to hope the rains weren't too harsh as they worked through them, their armor being burnt even as they continued on.
Cities near the ocean like Polyhex, Hytrax, and Stanix had little choice when it came to escaping the rain. The cities were built up away from the ground to avoid the worst of the storms, but often citizens were required to retreat to bunkers due to the sheer amount of rain. High caste mecha would spend their time in luxury accommodations or even take ground transportation out of the city until the rains passed. Middle caste mecha were more likely to put on extra armor layers and keep working, unable to get a break even if they wanted to due to the level of production their cities were involved in. Burns and mecha vanishing were not uncommon, especially amongst the lower castes who generally could not even afford extra protective armor, much less take time off to hide from the rains. Mecha would even go so far as to carry huge shields on staffs to try and ward off the worst of it while working.
Landlocked cities as a general rule did not experience the rains as often as others. But places like Iacon, Kaon, and Praxus had methods to handle them anyway when the rains did come... only most civilians were not naturally equipped to handle it due to the rarity of the event. Only the upper castes had access to buildings and residences with built in rain shields or other resources intended to make the rains less dangerous for inhabitants. Shielding for upper caste housing was common place and tended to often leave the middle caste and lower caste residential areas flooded. Middle caste mecha, while not in possession of the funds required to be comfortably prepared, tended to keep additional armored boots to wear so that they could still get to work after the rains passed during the flooding. If it was still raining, most middle caste mecha possessed small personal shields but little else, often leading them to run for their lives to get from place to place. Lower caste mecha had no such luxuries and either worked through the hell that was the rain, leading to more than a few deaths, OR they did what they could to cobble together sheilds.
The general opinion toward rain around Cybertron was quite simple. A deadly but unfortunately common fact of life. Despite that, some smaller groups had unique opinions regarding it.
While normally seen as a problem, some mecha got creative during the height of Cybertron's civil unrest and started gathering the acid rain. They would then store the material and later use it during protests in a less volatile form in order to make a point. They couldn't make any compounds without getting arrested or worse, but gathering it? There was no mech willing to stop a spark willing to risk melting to collect rain. It was fairly common for some protests to have watered down acid rain barrels that would then be thrown at officers when things got violent. It bought them time to escape and get out of the area while the guards flailed.
In other more religious areas, mecha saw the rains as a punishment from Primus and would pray throughout it all. In small communities it was not uncommon for 'sinners' to be cast out into the rains to try and appease Primus and lessen his wrath. Priests would occasionally take quick strolls through the rain as a test of their resolve and to show their willingness to comply with Primus's demands. And while not religiously founded, recruits in the army or law enforcement also tended to be thrown into the rains now and then to learn to withstand sudden storms. The usages of the rain were wild and unpredictable at best.
While little more than a rumor, there were also tales of mecha who would wander into the rains, seemingly in a daze, and vanish. Said mecha were said to later appear again, half melted and dazed, singing as they led others out with them. Rumors of beasts that hunted while it rained were similarly commonplace during the more youthful days of Cybertron. And while not common during the height of Cybertron's golden age, some places welcomed the rains as a way to get rid of unwanted flora and fauna while the citizens hid underground.
The rains were dangerous, but mecha still managed to have interesting views regarding it. But as a general rule, the rains meant death, and thus were to be avoided.

What happens when you combine the greatest Fire Emblem game of all time with the greatest animated film of all time? Besides an AU that absolutely no one—not a single soul—asked for, you get the newest house at Garreg Mach Monastery...the Cotton Candy Elephants!
Unlike the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and the Golden Deer, the Cotton Candy Elephants are open to accepting students from every region of Fódlan (so more like the Ashen Wolves), while the main three houses only accept students from their respective regions and conquered territories. This house has 9 students currently enrolled in it, one of which is the current house leader, Allegra von Hresvelg. When she made her appearance at Garreg Mach, Edelgard von Hresvelg of the Black Eagles was elated to find a surviving member of House Hresvelg that was close to her in age.
The house mascot is based on a majestic beast that lived in Fódlan's distant past, said to be part elephant, part cat, part dolphin, and made of cotton candy. Reportedly, it could cry candy and drive a chariot powered by song. Now lost to time and legends, Allegra chose to commemorate this beast in her house's banner.
Unlike her cousin Edelgard, Allegra is vibrant, lively, and positive, and has an eternally optimistic outlook on life. However, she can be a little immature at times. She loves her classmates even when they drive her nuts, the closest of which is her personal retainer, Tristesse von Edmund.
And now, it's time for Allegra's in-game stats:
Crest: Seiros (major)
Heroes’ Relic/Sacred Weapon: Seiros Sword, Seiros Shield (due to weakness in Axe, is not viable to have her use Aymr)
Strengths: Faith, Lance, Reason, Flying, Authority
Weaknesses: Axe, Brawl, Heavy Armor
Hidden Talent: Sword
Personal Skill: “Joyful and Bright”—When adjacent to any friendly/ally unit, grants a 5+ boost to Res, Lck, and Cha at the start of each turn
Unique Class(es)/Promotions: Noble → Lord, Light Flier → Holy Flier (a faith-based variant of the Dark Flier class)
Ideal Classes (generic): Soldier, Monk, Priest, Bishop, Pegasus Knight, Falcon Knight, Gremory
Learnable Magic: Heal, Fortify, Nosferatu, Aura, Abraxas, Seraphim, Warp, Rescue, Sagittae, Agnea’s Arrow
Ideal Combat Arts: Wraith Strike, Grounder, Hexblade, Finesse Slice, Tempest Lance, Knighkneeler, Glowing Ember, Monster Piercer, Euphoric Sparkle (unique to Holy Flier personal class)
Selection Quotes (Academy): "Alrighty!" (normal) "Let’s stay positive!" (mid-health), "I’m looking on the bright side!" (critical health)
Allegra has good base stats and excellent growth rates. Her best stats are Lck, Mag, and Cha. Her high growth rates in Cha make her an excellent tea party candidate, and she excels at choir practice. She is easy to build support with, and has very few disliked dishes; her favorite dishes being Sweet Bun Trio, Fisherman's Bounty, Pheasant Roast with Berry Sauce, and Peach Sorbet. If you want to build support through gifts, you may want to gift her a Tasty Baked Treat, a Goddess Statuette, a Board Game, an Armored Bear Stuffy, or a Sunflower. She can build support with everyone in her house, but her inter-house/faculty supports are limited to: Mercedes, Hilda, Ingrid, Ashe, Edelgard (yes a leader support!), Catherine, and Constance. As for S-Support, she is only available to Male Byleth.
I'm planning that on her route, Rhea decides to entrust the Seiros Sword and Shield to Allegra to fight the Adrestian Empire. Well, jokes on Rhea because Allegra plans to join up with Edelgard and destroy both the Church of Seiros and Those Who Slither in the Dark.
Fun Fact: The name "Allegra" is Latin for "joy". Since Spanish is my first language, there's obviously a connection to the words alegría (joy) and alegre (joyful). Originally, I wanted her to be part of House Bartels and bear the Crest of Lamine, but since Edelgard is a character that brings me joy, I made her part of House Hresvelg instead (even if it breaks the game lore, I'm just having fun!).
DO NOT REPOST!!! Also on deviantART

A SHORT (NOT) MESS OF AN ESSAY ON HOW CLARKE AND BELLAMY ARE INCREDIBLY ESSENTIAL TO THEIR UNIVERSE This is a half-humorous post about the ridiculousness of the plot, but believe me it's filled to the brim with my love for it
Or, in which explaining the plot of the numbers show would get me institutionalized. I refuse to check wiki while writing this post so if I'm wrong about any of the lore and dates, just look past it. So, ~100 years before S1 we have the following happening: Becca Franco is a brilliant billionaire who is a genetic engineer, a prodigy coder, oh and a eugenics supporter who is working on a superior black-blooded race. She also creates A.L.L.I.E - an AI that does not understand that sometimes the end does not justify the means In the background, WW3 is raging, Diyoza is blowing up fascist governments, the U.S. president is a Wallace. And then there is this bombshell blonde Josephine Ada Lightbourne, with her princess haircut, who is a huge fan of Becca's. She is preparing to embark on a mission to look for inhabitable planets onboard of Eligious III. Those who are part of this mission are equipped with memory drives inside their heads for storing data about new environments. Eventually, Becca has one of those inside her head, too. Meanwhile, Diyoza and >300 other prisoners are sent on a mining mission on a bunch of rocks in space aboard Eligious I. They are put to sleep in cryopods developed by Becca's company. Meanwhile, it can be assumed that Clarke's ancestors and Bellamy's great-great-great grandpa with 4 PhDs have begun their space station jobs.
97 years later, we all know what happens, 101 people are sent to Earth on what is believed by many to be a suicidal mission. There is nothing inherently special about Clarke or Bellamy. I mean, of course they are dearly special to my heart and turn out to be incredibly special to the universe, but before I humorously describe the plot progression, I need to emphasize, they are two humans who lived all of their life on a tin can in space, and while within the context of the Ark they are special (Clarke is a "princess", of course not literally but it does not seem far fetched that she would end up becoming the Chancellor someday; Bellamy is the only big sibling on the ark which gives him personality traits unique for someone his age as far as the ark is concerned). But they are not supernatural beings, they do not have nightblood, they are not chosen ones, know what I mean? And yet:
S1: the most down-to-earth season, after that the stakes will only go up. Objective: make sure that the 102 has as many survivors as possible until the adults get down to Earth. Enemies: grounders, reapers, wildlife, elements, toxic fog (mountain men but they do not know that yet), sometimes the delinquents turn against other delinquents. Clarke uses her calculating, cunning, and caring nature as well as her medical skills to gain respect among the group. By the end of S1 she is someone that the rest of the delinquents look up to guidance. Bellamy uses his PhD in public speaking (why is he sometimes "quiet" in blarke fanfic, he is literally the yapper boyfriend) and combat prowess to initially scare people into deference, however his caring side cannot be contained for too long. By the end of S1, he is someone that the rest of the delinquents look up to for guidance. Blarke status: co-leaders who respect and inspire each other and friends who flirt at the most improper occasions
S2: the season with the finale to end all season finales trademark.
Objective: break the 47 out of mount weather; establish a truce with the grounders and claim some territory for arkadians Enemies: Mountain Men, grounders and their commandor but in a "enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend kinda way, gorilla mutant
Clarke - kills her ex-boyfriend (and that is the merciful option), and becomes a de-facto chancellor due to incompetence of A/bby and K/ane; negotiates a deal with the grounder ruler - L/xa who in her head HAS A MIND DRVE WITH ALLIE 2.0 THE MORE ADVANCED VERSION OF THE AI WHO NUKED THE WORLD and also HAS THE MEMORIES OF BECCA FRANCO. Clarke kisses l/xa - the start of a long situationship with the chip.
Bellamy - goes on an extremely risky one-man undercover mission to infiltrate Mount Weather. Just so it resonates, Bellamy is not a trained spy or a navy seal or a special forces soldier. He pulls of this insane feat of disabling the acid fog without being caught(the fog machine apparently has been killing the grounders for 50+ years and is the reason why the grounders could not retaliate against MW all this time!!!! He!! really!! did!! all1! that!! without being caught AND was actively working on protecting the 47 simultaneously) Blarke status: bonded over the actual genocide of MW (including the Wallace lineage) after the grounders forced their hand by utterly betraying them. S3 - the season when things start to get out of hand Objective: claim safe territory for arkadians to live and hunt for food; develop an alliance with the grounders (who stabbed them in the back in S2); make sure the commander keeps her word that arkadians are part of the alliance; make sure Ice nation does not ascend and wipe out skycrew; keep their own people from being executed by their own people; stop Emerson; stop THE AI THAT ENDED THE WORLD WITH NUKES, stop the zombies controlled by said AI; obtain a nightblood in order to access Becca and stop the evil AI SAVE THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE
Enemies: grounders (heh I see a pattern); Pike (kinda), Queen Nia, Emerson, Roan (kinda), Ontario, ALLIE, Jaha (kinda), l/xa (kinda), Echolocation wew, just writing it down, they really did try to do everything in those 16 episodes, didn't they? ALLIE the AI that NUKED THE PLANET bats her eyelashes flirtatiously at BELLAMY while possessing Raven. Calls out Bellamy for being more devoted to Clarke than to his actual girlfriend. i need to emphasise that THE AI THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENDING THE CIVILATION IS INVESTED IN BELLARKE RELATIONSHIP DRAMA.
Clarke enters the chip inhabited by her lover and by Becca Franco. Has a conversation with both ALLIE and Becca. The memory of 'together" gives her strength to pull the kill switch.
ALLIE: so essentially in 6 month is the last day of humanity because of the second nuclear apocalypse incoming,
Clarke: don't worry, me and Bellamy will figure something out :))) together :))) (with Raven ofc, I mean no erasure to my girl, its just this post is focusing on bellarke) ALLIE: :O Im exhausted Ive already been writing out this post for an hour, Im glad I'm halfway through
Blarke status: reunited and it feels so good. Saved the world (but not quite yet) S4 - the calamity season
Objective: Save the human race (again)
Enemies: Primefiya, Ice Nation (kinda), Ilian (for a hot second), ALLIE 1.0 (for Raven) Uncle Jaha sets up Blarke on a day trip in order to feed them some lore that will be relevant later. Bellamy picks up a coin with the 'from the ashes we will rise" written on it, which will prompt Jaha to correlate this with the grounder prayer which will make him ask the flaimkeeper about it which will lead them to check the temple which will lead them to discovering the bunker. So I think that all the ppl who found salvation inside the bunker owe their life to Bellamy in a round about way.
Clarke once again negotiates an alliance with the grounders. Acts as de facto chancellor. Bellarke act as the leaders of the sky people as god intended. Clarke becomes a nightblood (this will be extra relevant in S6) O*tavia is credited with something that was Clarke's idea in the first place and would be impossible without Bellamy's help. So everyone say thank you Clarke and Bellamy for saving us :) Blarke status: This voice mail is currently full. S5: We are not pretanding that the apocalypse could have possibly happened around 2050 anymore considering the technology available
Objective: Save the human race and Earth. Try not to destroy the only inhabitable spot of land left on the planet challenge.
Enemies: Paxton "Graveyard" McCreary, Diyoza (kinda), rest of the miner's crew, Kara Cooper, Octonian, Miller (for a minute) Diyoza, the former navy seal corporal turned domestic anti-fascist terrorist back from 106 years ago is very invested in the Bellarke relationship status. Bellamy makes a deal with Diyoza & her army by having a galaxy brain and keeping that Best Dad in the Universe mug - truly an iconic behavior. This leads to a) saving Clarke and Madi (a.k.a his wife and daughter uwu) b) opening the bunker, which apparently the 814 left in the bunker had no prospects of opening so please say thank you Bellamy fast forward to the end - Clarke and Bellamy are off to ANOTHER FUCKING PLANET?!?! and making decision regarding the fate of the human race again as God intended. Also Marper got to be happy and grow old together <3 miss them though. Blarke status: they got sick of their world-wide fame and now are onto their galaxy-wide fame. They have 2 kids. S6 - The most romantic 10 episodes of television brought to screen I think Objective: explore Alpha; find a safe territory for their people; make alliances with Sanctum; uh oh what are those people up to???; sci-fi horror intensifies; SAVE CLARKE; and the rest of sky crew I guess; keep an eye on Jordan and Madi (objective failed); act on feelings (objective failed)
Okay, so. We have this awesome chick Josephine and she and neuroscientist Gabriel are sooooo in love. They are quite crazy about each other. Josie is very flirtatious but you can tell that what she and Gabriel have is something special. But then BUT THEN Josie is murdered by her own dad while he was having an environment-driven psychotic episode. and Gabriel is NOT READY TO LET HER GO HE LOVES HER OKAY. And her dad, Russel, obviously feels guilty as fuck and cannot live with himself. So Russel and Gabriel work on defeating death. Yea you heard that right, we are dealing with immortality now. After decades of inhumane experiments they succeed in bringing Josie back in some innocent girl';s body. How? Because Josie was backed up on a mindrive, that was developed by Becca. You know, the same Becca that caused the world to end the first time and inadvertently caused the plot of the whole show to happen. The same Becca whose AI was very invested in Bellarke relationship drama. I digress
Fast forward ~250 years later, Josie is a bubbly psychopath (she sad endearingly). And Gabriel actually noped the fuck out of this eugenics oblation camp 70 years prior. This caused Josie to become even colder and more ruthless, she doubled down after she realised that the love of her life had become disgusted by her. She does no longer remember how it feels to be loved or how did it feel TO love someone as she did Gabriel. One day, She wakes up and discovered she was put in the body of the iconic Clarke "Ferrari" Griffin herself. She thinks she will get away with the (not successful) murder of her because she has a lot to offer her friends in return, namely immortality, territory, and all the intel about the planet they had gathered. BUT BUT BUT she did not expect one Bellamy Goddamn Blake a.k.a the love of Clarke's life.
He is the first one to realize that Clarke is not Clarke. He is the first one to realize that Clarke is ALIVE. By seeing Clarke memories Josie knows that what would be likely to make Clarke stop trying is the belief that Bellamy gave up on her. BITCH YOU THOUGHT
So she experiences Bellamy DRAGGING her on forest floor and being gentle with her body at the same time because it is CLARKE's body. While they are in a cave she teases him about his relationship with Clarke, then reminisces about Gabriel and gets all sappy, and then by taunting Bellamy she hears "I wont let you die" and let me tell you SHE'S SHOOk. SHE FORGOT. SHE FORGOT YOU COULD LOVE SOMEONE SO MUCH. SHE FORGOT YOU COULD BE LOVED SO MUCH. IT PROBABLY REMINDS HER OF HOW GABRIEL ONCE WAS DEVOTED TO HER AND T SHAKES HER TO THE CORE.
Fast forward to Bellamy showing up Just In Time, undercover (as is his favorite past time) Josie says mockingly "because of course it s" BUT YOU KNOW SHE'S IMPRESSED. Then, The Tent, o man, THE TENT. Josie, probably slowly accepting that this might really be her end, admits to Bellamy in the softest voice "she was right to depend on you" And then she pleads with Gabriel and it's heartbreaking because yes she's a villain, she's a eugenist, a psycho, even simply Evil, probably BUT ONCE SHE WAS A BRILLIANT, RESOURCEFUL, CONFIDENT YOUNG WOMAN LIKE CLARKE. AND SHE JUST WANTED TO GROW OLD WITH GABRIEL. AND GABRIEL TELLS HER I LOVED YOU FOR CENTURIES AND BELLAMY'S FACE AND JOSIE GOT TO HAVE TO SPEND HER LAST MOMENTS WITH GABRIEL THANKS TO BELLAMY AND CLARKE AND IT GIVES HER STRENGTH TO KIND OF ACCEPT DEATH, PERMANENTLY "IN THIS BIG SLEEP, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME" "I HAVE TO LET YOU GO NOW" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NA DTHEn AND THEN WE HAVE THE CPR SCENE "I NEED YOU" "YOU'RE A FIGHTER SO GET UP AND FIGHT" "I AM NOT LETTING YOU GO" MOUTH TO MOUTH, TRUE LOVE"S KISS And Clarke looks at him like he hung the stars in the sky. Bellamy looks at her like he is the only star in his sky. And they save their friends. again. And they Do Better.
Cause they are better. together. And they are SO.POWERFUL
Their relationship literally transcends centuries and planets. Wow this is long. My legs are tired from sitting in one position. Who made it till the end?
#bellarke#josephine lightbourne#gabriel santiago#the 100#this is mainly an excuse to scream about Bellamy X Clarke X Josephine X Gabriel#But I take very long to actually get to the point#bellamy blake#I have no one irl to ramble at about this show so forgive me#my friends would think i'm on crack

Hello!
I nosedived into the TF fandom recently again and oh boy! Did I kick up some good memories!
I know your blog is mainly about seekers and the elite trine in the G1 continuity; but there’s some cool seeker lore in the TFA continuity as well that you may be interested in. And by “cool”, I mean kinda the transformers version of human experimentation angst.
In a few episodes (and in comics prior), it featured the Jet Twins who were split-sparks. These were originally two “low class” grounders who nearly died while doing their job. The Autobot Elite Guard thought that was a fantastic opportunity to take some of Starscream’s seeker CNA to attempt to code it into their nearly dead grounder bframes, hoping they’d gain flight abilities to help them win the war since no autobot had flight abilities at that time.
Pretty sure it was non-consensual too because the Elite Guard saw them as disposable if it didn’t work yikes.
It did work.
A brilliant artist ddrew an amazing art where as an adult (yeah they were teenagers at the time too), they grew up to be much more seeker like. The artist is pastelpaperplanes: https://www.tumblr.com/pastelpaperplanes/190148811408/we-havent-seen-our-favorite-flier-twins-in-a?source=share and https://www.tumblr.com/pastelpaperplanes/188841825893/consider-jettwins-hitting-a-huge-growthspurt-due?source=share
I was wondering how you think Starscream or the elite trine would react to their adult seeker forms and how they came to be.
I love them so much; am the owner of the ask-the-jettwins blog from years ago (I love their Russian accent!)
I’m relatively new to the TF fandom so I only really know about G1, RID2015 and Prime(because I watched Prime and RID2015 as a kid), I haven’t really looked into TFA yet but boy that looks amazing :D
For starters, seekers are very proud members of the cybertronian race, their flight frames are something to be adored and admired and they are well aware of that. But while seekers may be vain, they also have a very strong sense of family and recognition, their frames are what help them communicate, seek prey/energon, and they’re each very unique.
When you have a bot that was originally a grounder, you have a lot of things that don’t line up, Ie; wing hinges don’t move at full capacity, they don’t have the necessary fire power for proper flight, their internals can’t process the high grade needed to keep their systems CLEAN in order to run properly, ect. Because of this seekers don’t see those bots as seekers, they refer to them as aerial bots. (Or aerial brats in some seekers’ case)
Now that’s not to say seekers are purely against anyone else with wings. They’re closely related to praxins(not to be confused with Praxians), those who hold door wings, and get along well with them. Seekers are just insulted by the audacity that some try to mimic their frames.
That being said, originally I think Starscream and the other seekers would be extremely put off by the twins, the attempt itself would also probably insult Starscream and make him want to throw a tantrum but that’s a completely different story. Buuut considering they have seeker CNA it’s safe to say that Starscream(to him unfortunately) would feel some sort of connection as seekers recognize their creators/sires/sparklings through vocal and em field components.
Of course the jettwins would likely have under developed vocal modules if their wings hadn’t come in, it’s likely their nanites were slowly developing the frame to follow the proper schematics and it took so long because they didn’t consume metals like seekers should. (This also begs the question on wether or not they would have seeker coding, ie sky thirst and the hunting protocols but I’m gonna say they were probably either locked or not there because they were originally grounder frames)
Though as I said before, while a connection would be established to both Starscream and his Trinemates, they wouldn’t understand WHY. These little ground framed brats look nothing like seekers and Starscream wouldn’t stoop so low(he would). He doesn’t care for it! (He does) But Starscream would make an effort to find out why, and once he does oh lordy is he angry. Not at the twins no, but the Autobots.
Of course their frames would be a … gentle topic. Not entirely sure what to make of them or why they feel so uneased by it, though as the twins start to grow in and develop their wings it should be an immediate cause for excitement, after all there hasn’t been new seekers in millions of years. I believe there would be fascination on both ends, not to mention some fussing from Starscream the moment he finds out there’s wings coming in. Skywap would likely be less ready to jump in considering the kids are with the autobots but Thundercracker might be a little more flexible(key word might).
When those adult frames come in that unease turns to camaraderie, they’re no longer seen as something that doesn’t belong, especially if everything develops properly. To be honest, Starscream would probably take it upon himself to teach them HOW to be a seeker.
So tldr; Starscream would probably hate the twins but still feel something for them but as they get older he feels a better connection. His trine and the flock would act with the same unease at first before settling into companionship if the frames developed properly and wholly. If not then they would be treated like aerial bots.
But hey, that’s just fun little take with feral seekers in mind :)

I was really drowsy earlier and i thunk up some lore for my dynastyAU about soundwaves backstory. Buckle up yall this is a long one
Vos is a very large region of cybertron that was split up into four parts in order to make ruling easier. Vos is also one of the last two regions on cybertron that uses a monarchy. It was split up into northern, eastern, southern, and western kingdoms, each with its own ruling family. Eastern Vos is actually the biggest kingdom, both in size, population, and military, as its main focus is security and weapons development. Starscream, his trine, and most of the other seekers originate from eastern Vos, with Starscream being the last ruler before his whole power hungry usurping of the rest of Vos and the start of the great war.
Eastern, western, and northern Vos are completely cut off from the rest of cybertron and do not allow outsiders into their territory. They only allow trade and communication between the other parts of Vos and with other Vosians. Northern Vos is a lot more lenient with this policy as apposed to western and eastern Vos as both kingdoms see cross communication as treason and the punishment for being caught is severe. Southern Vos is vastly different and the rulers actually encourage interactions with other cybertronians.
Southern Vos was ruled by Empress Skyline. Long story short, she fell in love with a grounder before she was crowned Empress and after she ran away and had their first sparkling together she was found and brought back home. The grounder, a mech named Chambertune, snuck i to Vos to rescue here and was also caught, no surprise there, and was about to be executed when Skyline came running in and put herself between the excecutioner and her conjunx. She argues with her parents, theres an emotional moment, Chambertune is released, and for her bravery and idk true spark or something, shes crowned Empress as her parents retire from ruling and make Chambertune the royal ambassador and he deals with customs or something. Basically they put him in charge of opening the borders and integrating their society. Fun times yay.
So they had their first child, her name is Hurricane (theres a reason why please just trust me), while Skyline was in her running away era, and after she ascended to the throne, her and Chambertune proceeded to have six more sparklings over the course of several million years. Soundwave was the very last sparkling they had together. In this AU he also ends up working for Senator Ratbat but there is a lot that happens before that.
What i meant when i said Starscreams power hungry usurping of the rest of Vos, is that this dude went absolutely apeshit. The second he was crowned Winglord, all he wanted was more power. I wanna be clear that he is not a bad guy. Hes just incredibly spoiled and his entire childhood was his parents constantly feeding his ego about when he would finally be the ruler of eastern vos. Hes like 19-20 when hes put in charge. But once he got the throne it was horrifyingly anticlimactic. He expected to feel a lot more than he actually did and it was upsetting. He spent years yearning for this power and then once he got it, it wasnt enough. So the gears in his dumb little brain began to turn and he schemed an honestly terrible idea but bc he was Winglord, no one was brave enough to tell him other wise, not even his own brothers.
His plan was to take over the other nations of Vos. Spoiler alert, he did it. Vos was unified into one again. The ruling familys were taken captive and if they didnt bow to him, they were removed from the equation. His biggest problem was Southern Vos. Because of how they had been integrating their society for millennium before he was even created, half of the population was comprised of grounders. This didnt bode well with his ideal kingdom of Vos so he set his military wild. What they did to Southern Vos was genocide. They took the fliers and killed the grounders. The hybrids and halfbreeds were kept alive in hopes of breeding out the grounder genes.
Empress Skyline, Chambertune, and their three eldest children fought Starscreams military off the best they could while the younger four children fled the kingdom. They were unfortunately, spotted by a lost soldier, who reported to a general about the four escapees. That same lost soldier fire two rockets at them, intending to block their path but hit too close to them and knocked two of the kids out. The oldest of the four, who was not knocked unconscious, stopped to check on the younger two while Soundwave, a bit disoriented and dizzy, ran in a random direction. His brother saw him run but he was too far away to hear his call. As he reached the border, a stray rocket him close to him and the shockwave knocked him across. The blast also hit his left side and messed up a lot of wires and connectors in his processors, knocking him out and giving him amnesia and reducing his processing ability, leaving him mostly mute.
then it pretty much follows the idw backstory with him being found and taken in by ravage, buzzsaw, and laserbeak. I havent thunken how to weave in his telepathy but i have somewhat of an idea. In this au, outlier abilities are a mutation. that mutation gene, in rare cases, can be passed down genetically to offspring. Its more likely for a sparkling to have an outlier ability if both parents have the mutation gene. In this case, Chambertune has that mutation gene but Skyline does not. Out of their 7 offspring, only 3 of them, have the gene. Is a lot more than usual but thats only bc an ancestor of Skyline had a very weak outlier ability that was only usable when he was in danger. Hurricane is one of them (her original name was changed once her outlier ability developed), Soundwave of course is another, and i havent decided on a name for the last outlier child but his power is one of my favorites.
yeah yeah so hes found by those three, he spends a little while with them, then in a little stealing from the rich stunt, he gets caught by senator ratbat cuz it was his place they were stealing from. Ravage, bs, and lb are able to get away bur soundwave isnt so lucky. Ratbat finds out about his telepathy (hes got like three different powers but those dont show up until later) and decides “hey ur useful! Mine now” and adopts him. Hes a terrible person and an even worse dad but we’re not getting into that right now.
but yeah thats like the gist of the lore. Some of it is still in development so im open to suggestions for a few things, one of which is names for soundwaves 5 other siblings (two femmes, three mechs), and also maybe a better resolution for Skyline reconnecting with her parents and becoming Empress bc i have not thought that era through

re starscream an eggs.. seekers ovulating like birds means sometimes starscream just gotta lay a slug egg or two once in a while lol. they dont get big enough unfertilized to be noticeable but he DOES get more broody and irritable than usual.
sdkflghldksfgjhsdgf okay bougie lore drop but my parents have pet birds and lemme tell ya they EAT THOSE SLUG EGGS. The soft-shelled ones that just ain't hackin' it? They scarf 'em right up.
I love the idea that this is just a completely normal and acceptable thing among flight-frames, especially Seekers. They don't like wasting energon, after all! But any grounder - or, hell anyone not from Vos - would be like WHATETH The FUCK If they found out, so flight-frames tend to keep it on the DL
IRL, the eggs can soften if the birds aren't getting enough calcium in their diet - hence why you give 'em literal bones to peck at. Meaning, when Starscream was a neutral, scrabbling for survival all alone on Earth, undernourished and in an even higher state of stress than usual? ONLY SOFT WET SHLORP SACKS WERE COMING OUTTA HIM. And he was chowing down on them to try to preserve nutrients~
Please enjoy the thought of a grumpy, half-starved neutral Starscream cursing out his stupid body for producing useless eggs that are too soft to be viable even if they were fertilised, and monching away on them in a form of natural recycling.
......Which leads us onto the concept of him in the CBTY verse, finally getting plenty of fuel and being able to relax for the first time in MILLENNIA... and adamantly insisting that NO, he is NOT going broody. Meanwhile all the Autobots stand back and watch him aggressively making little nests and fluffing his wings up and hoarding unfertilised eggs, until Ratchet baps him over the head with the spanner and threatens to put him in the Cybertronian equivalent of a Chicken Sin Bin for broody hens until he either lets Knock Out knock him up or calms the fuck down

Lore notes on my other fancolony idea: Puritos and Ignitia
When the unknown progenitor titan arrived on the planet Ilsal, their body split into two. One remained in the sky, and the other descended into the earth. The halves of this titan would become the foundation of the two colonies Puritos and Ignitia. Puritos is home to Cybertronians with the appearance of angels, while Ignitia is home to Cybertronians with the appearance of demons. Puritos and Ignitia have been at war with each other for thousands of years, and have changed the landscape of Ilsal for better and for worse.
Restating some lore points from the other post:
Most angelformers are birds, but some can be butterflies and dragonflies. Some can also turn into instruments
Most demonformers turn into bats and snakes and lizards, and the most powerful turn into dragons. Some also turn into weapons Vehicle tfs might exist, but if they do, then most angels are flight based and most demons are grounders.
Even though they are called angels and demons, they are technically neither. They are cybertronians who look like them.
There is a native species on the surface known as the Tapoko who have been living with the war for generations.
Puritos's culture revolves around selflessness and doing good for others. Doctors, teachers, and farmers hold a lot of power. The leader of Puritos is named Aurea. They are known as the Golden Healer, able to cure even the strongest of ailments. They aren't seen much aside from formal events.
Ignitia, meanwhile, lives on entertainment and partying. Music, art, and dance are highly valued, and there is a huge racing culture as well. The leader of Ignitia (name TBD) is a punk rock idol, and their face is plastered all across the colony.
Neither colonies have cityspeakers, as they have been unable to connect with their titans for thousands of years. Puritos is interested in finding a new cityspeaker while Ignitia is reluctant.
(Aurea)
In between Puritos and Ignitia is the Surface Zone, where there is no jurisdiction and no law. This is where death has a strong grip, as violence and killing are free to reign. This is also where the war is fought: and for the Tapoko, it is something they have been accustomed to for generations, the war between Puritos and Ignitia etching into their legend.

Have you got any hcs you give to different frame types like in behaviours or habits and culture. Like miners, warframe.seekers, praxian etc.
I always find it so hard to find other world building lore and hcs on other frame types. Usually only seeker stuff which I love. Just don’t know anything about grounders.
Oh and if you know any places I can find some please recommend them. :]
I've been holding onto this ask for a little while and I really wanna do it well but. All I have concretely are seeker thoughts (._. )
Sooo time to wing it and talk about the few things that I do have! I could talk to you about the entire political sphere of Vos and the intricacies of its independent society, but... I don't have near as much detail and planning for any of the other cities. I guess the only ones that come close are Polyhex and Crystal City, but that's not what we're here for
I'm rambling. I'll stop now. ANYWAY. Thoughts about warframes... 🤔 admittedly these may not be very spicy, but have some more homey ones, typically set in the context before or void of their oppression:
- Warframes in general are very touchy but private people. Under unfamiliar eyes they may seem cold and apathetic or even disdainful, but in a comfortable social context they're actually rather tactile. Not just in the very tender ways seen among close family, but I'm more playful, heavy ways among friends. Many activities were social for them, and they tend to form strong bonds with their groups and clans. Bathing was one of the most common social activities, helping wash each other's backs and preening transformation seams.
- Frametypes best suited for mining really, really enjoy a good cave so long as it's not functioning as a prison. Many of them have very sensitive optics, meant to see in near complete darkness, so strobe lights or particularly bright sunshine will have them flinching back before their vision adjusts. Yoo long in too bright light can cause optic strain or even migraines, if they're unlucky. Caves are the perfect remedy for that, and most miners really love a dark, personalized place with natural walls on all sides and a ceiling above them. Perfect, dark, safe den
- Next is the Praxians. My most outstanding idea for them is that their chevrons and doorwings are very important sensory organs. Their wings function almost like a second pair of optics, reading changes in the wind and the airspace behind them, giving them a much more articulate awareness yo their surroundings than most. On the other side, their chevrons are very sensitive, packed with nearly 3x the normal amount of sensory nodes compared to the rest of their bodies. With it they can detect changing moisture or gases in the air, as well as more acutely hone in on scents and temperature changes. In Praxian families, the most intimate form of greeting or comfort is to press one's forehead against another's, letting their chevrons line up and gently touch. Done right, it can stimulate warmth and calm just as holding something warm in your hands can, and to touch someone's chevron without their position is the gravest insult
Sorry there's not more of these! I tried my best, so I hope you were at least a little entertained 😅 if you wanna chat more about any of these, you know where to find me ^-^

After all, why not? Why shouldn’t i revive my girl when the fandom is thriving?
Then vs Now comparison:
A little lore drop:
She was a seeker under Starscream's command, usually frequent at Trypticon when the war on Cybertron was at it's height.
It was told that she got shot mid-air. As she was free falling, the energon she bled got burned and created a trail of flames. Though the trail was faint, it left a good enough impression that those in the Decepticon army gave her the nickname "comet", even the leader began to call her that.
After the war on Cybertron, she was presumed dead until the return of Shockwave in the show. She's unable to fly again after her "death" and became a grounder (her alt mode is a cybertronian motorcycle, it looks similar to Himeko's motorcycle in HI3).
I headcanoned that Knockout used to work at Trypticon scientific outpost and immediately joined the Decepticon to avoid getting mauled by Megatron. So therefore, KO and Starscream knew each other, he's one of Starscream's staff! Anddd later on in the war, KO was forced to be a field medic and met Breakdown : D

Lore: The Shifting Wing Caravan
Life in the Shifting Expanse is vastly different from the clan's early days. Under constant paranoia of attacks from the Shade and falling back on Wind instincts to keep moving, Spelldancer led the clan as a caravan through the Charged Barrens. The desert being the most volatile and dangerous of the land, the Matriarch hoped the rolling lightning would naturally deter anything from following them. That said, the clan itself must survive the same hardships, and developed methods to do so.
The clan operates in two states: lairing and caravan. All dragons in the clan earn their keep by working in some way, but the way they work varies depending on the clan's state.
Lairing
The clan uses temporary lairs for shelter. The clan chooses to lair when the Shifting Expanse's storms are too severe to travel through, there are a high number of eggs incubating, or their scouts sense danger and need to hide. The ultimate goal of lairing is to give dragons a much needed rest and protect the dragons from attacks, as the lair will have only one exit, which is guarded.
These lairs are caves deep below the sands of the desert where the earth begins to harden, allowing for structure to form. The clan's lair building workers, known as the Carving Team, work quickly to construct caves to serve the entirety of the clan for lairing. The Carving Team is split into specialties by element: Earth dragons make up the Carvers, Lightning dragons make up the Grounders, and Fire dragons make up the Smiths. Carvers dig directly into the ground and use their Earth magic to shape it to their desires. Grounders maintain and run cables throughout the caves to provide electricity to power lights and other comforts. Smiths help construct metal beams and any forging needs the Carvers and Grounders need. Corycia (#61707542) leads the team and inspects their work across all work groups. Corycia also makes the final call on when the clan will lair, as she will not allow lairing to begin without finding a suitable location.
The Carving Team is widely respected in the clan, being the hardest working dragons who server the most basic need of everyone: shelter. When they finish, Carvers spend the rest of the lairing state resting, as their work is the most laborious. Grounders and Smiths, however, have other tasks to attend to, such as engineering and smithing respectively.
While lairing, other working dragons take the opportunity to craft. Artisans will create new goods from their supplies. These items will be sold later when the clan caravans. Some dragons' tasks have them tending to the population in order to maintain good mental health and morale. For example, there are lair decorators who are in charge of beautifying the lair, as living in underground caves for several months with limited surface time can be depressing. Relaxing areas are maintained, such as saunas and game rooms, and some dragons run events. Stylists maintain the coats of furred dragons to prevent overheating in the desert, and fire and ice dragons work in tandem to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout - though in some cases, some rooms are much hotter or colder to accomodate dragons whose element/grooming require such.
Dragons who wish to nest will often wait for lairing to do so, though this is not the case for every pair. The tasks of hatching eggs and rearing young are not the parents' job, however. The clan employs nannies that wrap eggs in metal coils, which are topped with clamps and can be hung from cables suspended from the ceiling. These coils run the natural electricity eminating from the eggs back over them to maintain a warm temperature. After hatching, the hatchling will be raised by the nannies.
Currently, Pajamas (#55529581) is the only nanny. As the task of corralling hatchlings can be overwhelming the more of them that there are, lairing is sometimes initiated at her request. (Note: in my canon, spirals are larger, so she is large enough to carry most hatchlings.)
Housing caverns give individuals and pairs their own privacy while also keeping living quarters nearby. Dragons can put in special requests for their units and the Carvers will note them and attempt to meet the dragons' needs the next time the lair is built.
After some time lairing, the clan will pack up and abandon the lair. The clan switches to caravaning when it's determined the coast is clear, or contrastly, leadership has determined staying in the current lair is no longer safe. Switching from lairing to caravaning is done very quickly; within a few hours of notifying all clanmates, they leave. Dragons need to be ready to leave as soon as possible, and any items not carryable must be left behind. Carvers will destroy the lair by causing cave-ins. Lairs are destroyed to help prevent aggressors from finding the remains and determining where the clan has been. Grounders and Smiths will do their best to collect their cables and support beams to carry with them for the next lair.
During lairing, dragons only leave the clan under special circumstances, or if they have a job that requires it. Hunter/Gatherers are allowed to leave at any time to stock the food supply, as is the War Party to maintain the safety and security of the clan.
Caravan
The caravan state is when the clan is traveling. The clan employs a team called the Spellshields; these are Arcane dragons with high mage proficiency that maintain protective shields at all times while exposed to the desert's topside. This prevents rogue electrical waves from running through the clan, which wouldn't affect the Lightning dragons too much, but could devastate other members of the clan. The shields also protect from harsh winds and sands buffeting them as they travel.
The Spellshields are not constantly maintaining the shields themselves. They use compact devices designed by Delwen (#54524815) to store their magic, which then generates the dome of pink magic over the clan. This allows the caravan to travel for months if needed without wearing down the Spellshields.
Dragons are expected to be able to carry their own possessions, but in the cases of dragons who have many items for their crafts, they may employ the help of Carriers. These are often Wind dragons who use their magic to lift heavy items along with the clan as they travel, but can also be large/built dragons who can simply handle the burden of the items when packed onto them. Due to their heavy loads, the clan mostly walks during caravan time, rather than flying through the storm. Maintaining spell shields would be too difficult during flight as well. Some dragons have built sled-like carts that can be pulled by large dragons, which give them a place to store their wares as well as act as a market stall when visitors come by.
When not directly traveling, dragons will hunker down in the sands, under the protective shields. During this time, they often run trade stalls in a bazaar. Dragons traveling through the expanse will often notice the large spell shields and stop in to rest from the storm, and many times they will trade. There are often dragons coming in and out of the clan because of this, and these visitors help maintain the caravan's livelihood by bringing new supplies and treasure in.
Artisans will trade for money and for supplies to make more of their craft. Making a profit is important, as it allows them to replenish their stock for their next sales, but also aquire necessities for their own lives and the lives of their fellow clanmates.
Any eggs that are laid during travel will be carried by large dragons wearing special harnesses. These harnesses allow the incubator coils to be clamped to the dragon, allowing for clawless carrying.
Dragons who wish to leave the clan for some time, for trading or for indepentant travel, are allowed to do so at this time. However, it's difficult to return to return during lairing times, as individuals are not informed where the clan will to travel or lair. This knowledge is only known to the leaders of the clan. So many dragons will try to return as quickly as possible, or plan on searching the desert for the sign of their spell shield and hope for the best.
Though hope is not lost for dragons who unfortunately don't make it back. The clan's Star Readers, Apollo (#56410277) and Nautilus (#70670034), spend most of their time flying directly through the storm clouds of the Expanse in order to reach the stars above. These two can serve as a touchstone for anyone who is lost, as they always know where the clan is and can give guidance to anyone they recognize. If someone they don't know comes asking for directions, however, they may be unwilling to help without a good reason.
With Nautilus' intense speed, the pair has a sweeping view of the desert around the clan, and also keep an eye out for any suspicious activity on the horizon. If they notice anything, they report back to leadership and the War Party. Otherwise, they help offer insight to leadership on where to navigate based on weather conditions and astrological readings.
When the call goes out to begin carving, visitors are quickly warned: "you may stay with us, but we'll be underground for who knows how long. If you do not wish to stay, leave now." The clan will then immediately pack up their stalls as shallow pits are quickly carved out, and the clan goes under the sands. Once in the pits, the spell shields are snuffed out, and the Carvers work quickly to get the basic structure for the lair started.

Archie sonic issue #2
And here we move on to the second in the #290 comic book series woof.
As I said in my previous post as much as I dilike the archie comics this isn't to to shit on the comics or those that like them. I'll be giving just as many positive thoughts as I do negative.
I'm just reading through them and just wanna share my thoughts on them.
Issue #2 was released in July 1993 And publication was september 1993.
Must of been wild back then to wait so long in between as if tbf we do that now still with idw but I remember a lot of my own comics I read growing up were weekly.
Anyway this is like one of the few pins I wish I could own but trying to explain the gag to people would be a lot of effort.
Sorry but Coconuts is like a really cute design I wish he was used more, I think he was in the tv series more?
This was a fucking mob hit.
Also hello you two bastards I know you fuckos.
This is so fucking stupid but "your non identical twin" made me laugh WAY harder than it should off.
These are funny acutally. Like I forget early sonic also had a cheeky attidude, I mean his british comic self would tell tails to fuck off or he'll shag his mam in greggs but you know.
WOW throw back to issue one /J
I don't really recall seeing much of scratch and gounder after this, they were more involved in the tv show I guess and just didn't really hit of with comic audience I guess? Which is a shame because they are kinda funny as bumbling idiot servants.
I wonder what Cubot and Orbot would of thought about them?
Kids who read the comic when it first came out are all like this now.
I would say I think this is when they tried to insert lore but I think this is the one about the two gag characters and not the uh racist stereotype tribal men story line.
Yep I believe they returned somewhere in the #90s issues? maybe I don't recall but I don't think they were like meant for anything other than to just make a fun story about the rings.
Oh god this made me cringe acutally that looks oddly painful
also omg better look at sonic's lil nub tail.
Awful scene that implies sonic's nose isn't the black ball on his snout
They had this odd habit at the end of some of the comics like a desperate plea not to cancel them, I think it's in the mecha sonic comic to very bizzare espically consiering some kids prolly did send letters in but were most likely ignored.
For years after I read this comic (my dad brought the collection when i was younger they are prolly worth some now lmfao if we had them) I believed this was how they made 'foil' covered things.
I remember doing it myself and being dissapointed my face just tore through it.
That sure is a title.
Need you guys to commit this image to memory for later.
This was a cute little thing of people guessing why tails had well two tails. I don't think they had a solid idea at this point? I don't remember the cartoons that well.
He's not naked he has shoes on.
The sonic vs mario haters is as old as time
My thoughts on this one was pretty good again, it's a cute series at the start and it introduced characters from the series like scratch and grounder.
I guess they wanted to introduce the characters that were going to be in the tv series because as I said some of these characters weren't really seen again in the comics, well not that often.
Which I don't blame them because I suppose keeping a lot of cast around takes away from the main villian himself and it's easier to concentrate on him.
It's a shame though because I have fond memories of vividly hating scratch and grounder but for a goofy kids cartoon they slotted in well.
I like eggmans use of skinny and square shaped idiot partners as his sidekicks. He seems to have a type for those being his personal servants, err, assistants.
my time lines could be funky on these because I'm not following along with the mini series of comics until later on.
But I like them.
We haven't reached ken penders era yet /J

You have enlightened me, and now I'm curious what other sort of interesting multiversal character interactions we could get with the stc cast?
I suppose the only obvious one coming to me right now would be grimer and snivley... And ig starline. idk if he's equivalent to those two or not, but I'll say he is cause why not
I feel like Robotnik has three categories of sidekicks in most media: 1. Duo of dummies (Scratch & Grounder, Orbot & Cubot, those... two robots from Sonic X, and maybe you can count Sleet & Dingo) 2. Guy who is obviously plotting to betray him (Snively, Lien-Da though she's not really a sidekick, and hell you can probably throw Sleet & Dingo in here too, it's not mutually exclusive) 3. Guy who is in love with him (Agent Stone, Starline, Grimer, Thunderbolt) Any combination of these characters interacting with each other is glorious and deserves to exist For me, I think the funniest one would be Snively interacting with anyone from the third category. Like, specifically SatAM Snively, who has a lot less lore attached to him and is more just the guy who begrudgingly works for Robotnik. Because I reckon Snively would probably go up to [Agent Stone/Starline/Grimer/Thunderbolt] and think that they'd be on his side with wanting to overpower Robotnik, only to end up completely being ratted out by them, because they're entirely loyal to Robotnik. I mean. Maybe post-quitting-his-job Grimer might be a bit more open to it? But I do think that Grimer probably knows how unhinged and powerful StC Robotnik is and wouldn't want to stand in his way, even then Starline also betrays Robotnik, of course, but he does it in an "I can fix him" way and would be offended at the suggestion of betraying Robotnik out of hatred for Robotnik

In the aosth, Robotnik was so obsessed with Lucinda that he locked up Lucas for 30 years straight and still wanted to marry her. I wondered why he was so smitten with her until I realized that maybe she was the only one in high school who have genuinely given him kindness in his life. Considering who his mom was or his dad nowhere to be seen he might not have had a great childhood. On top of the conditioning to be a bully and his appearance he might gotten bullied himself retaliating through his machines. Perhaps not knowing what type of person he is she might have stood up for him against a bully or perhaps talked about science when sitting together at the lunch table. He probably didn’t know how to respond to this kindness since it is foreign to him. Probably waiting for her to ask him to do her homework or something only to be asked to hangout at the mall or other teen activities. He might have thought this was love when in reality she was trying to be a good friend. Either way he was definitely nervous when he was about to meet her again.
I love this because despite being in aosth's canon, it's very similar to Snively’s upbringing. He had a father and no mother, and came from an abusive home. (To cut it short) No wonder why Robotnik in the SatAM canon would take him in. He's young and impressionable, and he already looks up to his uncle. Perfect for manipulating.
(Actually, bringing Lucinda in the mix, Aosth's Botnik in that story is a lot like this sort of fanfic/lore dump of my one human Sonic Oc, Ann. I posted that doc here a while ago.)
Iirc, Scratch and Grounder didn't know about Lucas/Lucinda, and seeing that they commonly mistake love for abuse, I wonder if, when Botnik briefed them, that was their first thought?
