so what I'm learning from coverage of the UHC CEO shooting and the arrest of Luigi Mangione is that you could stump the NYPD even harder by

wear different clothes while committing the crime than while taking the bus/checking into your hostel

maybe also change your mask color

fake glasses? fake moustache? legitimately might make matching from CCTV harder

omg... contour your nose like a makeup tiktoker. maybe eyebrow it like a drag queen

ditch the fake ID and anything tied to the crime (clothes, ghost gun) asap

this should also help not getting arrested for unlawful firearm possession and forged ID possession

maybe take more than one bus or smth

maybe don't go out in public in crowded areas for a wee bit afterwards
