So there's 5 witches, 3 of them covering domains with dangerous, bordering on hostile implications towards life and the world. They are plotting to destroy Ame's domain, but will need to destroy another one to keep their voting balance. Indri and Mirara are agreed on the need to destroy the Witch of the World Heart, Grimore also wants to but is scared. I think she is scared for Hacaea who is more neutral in this case and who Grimore has shown care for. Mirara and Indri know they need to destroy a second station for balance and have already decided it's going to be Hacaea since she is already old and too neutral for the other 3's ambitions. But Grimore's love for Hacaea holds her back. Her decision is going to be what sways the outcome one way or the other, since Hacaea can probably be trusted to vote in favour of her own domain's preservation.

Metaphorically, you have solitude, nothingness and violence encroaching upon the heart of the world, seeking to destroy the possibility for compassion, collaboration and understanding. The natural world is neutral, or can be swayed either way, or is unable to see the danger that the destruction of the Heart poses to her existence as well. Violence is something present in the natural world and serves its purpose in its balance, but can go out of control if the natural force that keeps her grounded is taken away.

In other words, if the ground and the heart of the world are destroyed, it becomes subject to violence, loneliness, and ultimately empty darkness. Or that is what it implies to me.
