9. Make a confession. Oh god, this is deeply shameful as a person who regularly engages with fantasy media, but I don't really care about Lord of the Rings. My husband collects different editions of all of Tolkien's works and insists on extended edition movie marathons every few years, and I participate to humor him, but I have never been able to get really invested in the films and have zero interest in reading the books. I can appreciate that they are seminal texts for the genre and I respect the worldbuilding and craftsmanship, but it's just not for me 😬

27. 3 things you love about yourself. I love being strong. I find it deeply satisfying when people are surprised by how physically capable I am.

I'm shockingly funny. Despite the fact that I am not a very outgoing person, in the right group settings I find myself dropping witty and playful quips like nobody's business. There is little else more affirming in the world than nailing the timing and getting a good laugh from an entire room of people.

I like how self-aware I am. It's a curse and a blessing, but ultimately, it's allowed me to improve my life in ways that seemed impossible when I was younger. I love that every day I choose the pursuit of dismantling unhealthy behaviors and thought patterns, taking accountability, and that I have the desire for lifelong growth towards curiosity and empathy and compassion, not just for others but also for myself 💜
