In addition to maintaining the diagonally oriented visual perspective of the original The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, the remake also makes some smart choices regarding the design of the actual objects and characters found throughout the world. Instead of making them fit scale models or fully pixel-specific recreations, the game instead chooses to give everything a particularly plush, plastic, and generally toy-like textures and diorama proportions, ensuring that the sense of childhood adventure is maintained even in this highly altered form.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake developer GREZZO has announced dragon racing game Jet Dragon for Apple Arcade. It will launch on June 16.

obscure game recommendations from me yet again, another 3ds title.

Ever Oasis, developed by Grezzo. the same folks who brought you the wonderful Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time 3D ports to the 3DS, its at the moment 40 bucks CAD but worth your money. it stars Tethu/Tethi, a seedling trying to restore the Oasis that once was their home. I won't spoil the game but please go play it. apparently its also something apart of the mana series.

Looking at the art style in Eow, you can see that Nintendo often aims for more and more younger audiences. The global kids market is huge!

But also can tell how much Nintendo enjoys making games like this. bc it seems like It’s not just about creating something fun for kids, it’s also about wanting them to genuinely enjoy their games.

because creating experiences that can become a kid’s best childhood memory. It had the same effect on me when I got to learn about Zelda and Mario games at a young age, and the fondness I developed for the series has stayed with me to this day.

all elements about adventuring, finding treasures in mystery places, solving puzzles to find cool items, collecting cool weapons, and magical stuff, being one with nature, hiking to see beautiful landscapes, climbing trees, playing with animals

those are what I love about The Legend of Zelda so much.

On one hand I'm happy GREZZO is continuing to contribute to such prestigious games but on the other hand I wish they'd take a break to work on a certain original project they said would be released in 2019...

I just realized that Ghost Guy from the first Luigi's Mansion Game is combination of a Spear Guy, and a Boo Guy.

I also think Luigi's Mansion 1 was also the first Game where Shy Guys (or rather, Ghost Guys) were voiced by Nate Bihldorff, who's known as the Voice Actor for not just the Shy Guys, but also Fly Guys, and Snifits (I'm like 99% convinced it was Bihldorff, anyway).

Though, according to the Super Mario Wiki, Bihldorff first voiced them in Mario: Power Tennis (at least the Shy Guys, and the Fly Guys; he wouldn't voice Snifits until Paper Mario: Sticker Star).

However, I admit that their info can be subjective at time (and sometimes, inaccurate), but not always.
