I feel so vindicated this episode. I KNEW that was not Helly R anymore, I felt that she was off from the moment the team got back together after the Macrodat Revolution night. Britt's performance of balancing Helly and Helena was so good but the mildness from Helena was a giveaway. It'll be fascinating to rewatch this and catch more moment where you can see Helena's mask slipping though.

In the Case of the Deadly Double, Constance Ford does a brilliant job of portraying a woman with two separate personalities. Watching her transform from the respectable woman to the partying, wild woman is enthralling!! She really is a great actress.

Perry asks the doctor to help her bring out her other personality. Her change in expression and demeanor is intense and completely believable. Constance did a spectacular job of acting in this episode!!

The respectable personality is allergic to fur, which delights Della very much. I think Della looks great in that fur stole!! I hope that she's allowed to keep it. 😁😍

Hamilton Burger and Lt. Tragg are skeptical, but they understand what is going on in the end. I love these two guys. 😍 They make quite a pair!! 😁🤣😍

Rhys Darby’s Amazing Acting

Rhys has evolved the whole character of Stede. It’s incredible to watch.

I’ve heard actors focus on a character walk. Watch the way Stede carries himself this season. So much more confidence. More comfortable with himself. that's a man who’s seen death, jumped into a new life, he’s in love with a monster, he’s come to realize he’s not a lily livered useless little rich boy. He’s a man.

and our old Stede isn’t completely gone. He’s still there.

it’s perfect acting! Bravo!

Hey I knew exactly what was gonna happen in episode 8 of TLOU and somehow was not prepared?? Like how did they make David more terrifying?

First of all: he was a teacher before this? Barf. “I’ve always had a violent heart” or whatever? Double barf. This man has done this countless times.

When he hit that girl and sat and ate right in front of them I knew in my gut he was going to be worse than in the game. Obviously the show doesn’t have to move on so you can play. The whole thing is meant to be observed. So they can flesh stuff out. But oh my god

And then AND THEN DURING THE FIGHT?!??? BEFORE ELLIE KILLED HIM?!??!?!??? The screams were so realistic I started sobbing and dry heaving. I don’t care that I knew she’d be fine in the end. It scared me and reduced me back to my experiences and how horrible they were. And there was nothing I could do. I couldn’t press a button. I just had to watch. And when he said something about “the fight makes it better” or whatever? Extra barf I cannot

And the disassociation afterwards?!?!??? Like?!???!??? Correct. You don’t know what’s going on or if you’re safe and she’s still in shock and she did get to get her aggression out on him (since Joel didn’t come in like in the game) but oh my god the immediate defense mechanism?!???

Give Bella Ramsey all of the awards because they deserve it and also give me a Xanax because I had a panic attack and sat rocking back and forth sobbing on my couch for like 30-40 minutes

A lot of stuff was similar to the game too. “Tell them Ellie is the little girl who broke your fucking finger!” Always a classic. But this was definitely MORE than the game. Just as a warning

even though it breaks my heart every time I watch this scene I love this scene because the acting is so heartfelt and you can see the range of emotion that Crowley and Aziraphale  are going through thank you David and Michael
