So in this video I'm talking about the total misinformation when it comes to the "grass fed" labelling and also the many claims surrounding it. Claims such as it being better for the environment, more ethical, and healthier. Firstly from a pure vegan perspective it still isn't ethical. My main take away is that the end result is the same. It still involves are practice of animal slaughter.

What To Consider When Buying Wagyu Beef Online
Getting Wagyu beef from a reputable supplier is essential. A range of Wagyu beef products are available from specialty butcher shops, upscale supermarket stores, and internet vendors such as Bellbucklebeef.com. When purchasing Wagyu beef online, seek out merchants who offer comprehensive details regarding the type, grade, and origin of the meat. This openness serves as a reliable gauge of the retailer's dedication to authenticity and high standards.

Is butter considered dairy: what is a better butter?
Is butter considered dairy? The answer is, of course, yes, butter is a dairy product because it is made of milk.  But besides milk butter, there is another variety of butter, which is milk made, but it is not as perishable as milk butter. It is clarified butter, which is also known as ghee. Although butter, it is better butter.

Please, can we get some headcanons on thg!Eva's cows? I was remembering that post about them getting shampoo'd after she won the games and being all fluffy after 🥰
Omg Lauren bdbdbdndnd
So Eva loves animals and used to be able to talk to them as a kid(or so her family claims) and her dad was essentially an unlicensed vet who was married to a midwife + medicine woman so Eva knew about animal husbandry and human care before her parents and siblings died.
She has raised a lot of calves who lost their moms and needed to be cared for until they were old enough to be returned to their ranch or farm
She cries every time one of her cows has to be slaughtered and has never gotten used to it no matter how much she pretends otherwise
Tried to go vegetarian but even as a victor she knows she needs the protein and nutrients to survive(and have a healthy baby)
They have people names because she's weird like that
Jack nearly threw up when Eva allowed him to witness the beautiful miracle of life (aka the calf to be named after him being born)
She prefers dairy cows because they don't die for consumption
They are featured on Panem's animal magazines
Capitol citizens went apeshit for the grassfed cruelty free cage free byproducts
Eva fucking hates it ^

Hello again I'm the anon who asked about the raw meat diet anyways the reason I want to try raw meat/organs (particularly cow, lamb and goat) is because I've read several sources that cooking meat can deplete the nutrition in the meat which my body is in need of (so I've heard). Also I used to eat small chunks of ground beef as a kid and absolutely loved it (I actually prefer meat raw I only like chicken cooked). But I wouldn't do that now as I'm a bit on edge about all the food recalls that have been taking place as of recently in America. So do you have any trusted online sources??
Also curious do you only eat meat just curious?
Thanks again
Hi, I would first say very firmly that, while it's true that cooking does reduce the abundance of some nutrients, it's completely unnecessary to eat your meat raw for nutritional purposes. We have been cooking since before we were Homo sapiens, so it's safe to say we have evolved on cooked meat. I saw a study that actually showed some nutrients are more bioavailable for humans when the meat is cooked, while others are less, which to me indicates we should probably be eating a mix of cooked and raw meats. But if you insist on going straight raw, of course it is possible to minimize, but never eliminate, the risk. I personally can't make any recommendations for online sources, as I have never used any online butchers myself, and additionally I don't want to be responsible if you get sick. There are online grassfed butchers such as BetterFedBeef and Moink, but I would be wary of consuming their products raw unless you do your own due diligence looking into their methods and feel comfortable taking that risk. The best thing to do, as I said, is find a farm in your area that you can visit and see for yourself if it meets your standards of cleanliness.
That being said, humans on a proper diet do have a very low stomach acid pH and theoretically it should be completely safe to eat raw meat if the sourcing is clean. Like I said in the tags on your last ask, I do eat my steaks seared on the outside and raw on the inside, but I also have dug my feet into the soil of the farm where the animals were raised, I know my farmer well and I trust him. I personally would be much less likely to eat my meat raw from an online butcher, even one that claims to have high standards of quality/cleanliness. For myself, I need to see it with my own eyes before I decide to trust it. If you really do want to trust an online source, I would at least encourage you to read their website thoroughly and look for or ask for photos of the farm to verify that it's legit.
And to answer your last question, in my day to day, yes. Very very occasionally I will eat eggs, cheese or butter, but 99.9% of my diet is beef. I find eggs to be sort of boring, and I seem to have problems if I eat dairy too much so I save it for special occasions. Technically they are both carnivore, but they just don't really work for me. Everyone is individual though. Lots of carnivores are all in on beef/other red meat, butter, pork, eggs, poultry, seafood, etc., but that's just not me. Fatty beef is what works best for me, so yeah, I mostly only eat that. But it's not necessary to be that restrictive if you want to include eggs/dairy/seafood. I just found what feels best for me, and you should experiment and find what feels best for you, too!

beefy cow or cornfed anger?
i just woke up from sleeping for like a million years and am still a little fuzzy from that so i hope i'm guessing correctly that this is referring to the line in my bio? in which case:
the beef is my muscles
it is cornfed because a) i love corny jokes b) it can't be grassfed because i don't use weed

one thing strange that I see a lot is people being crazy about "food sovereignty" and "self sufficency", "the small farmer" and "homesteading" but also super pissed about poor people owning animals or anyone doing anything that isn't picture perfect. it can't be both. it can't be "don't get chickens if you can't afford xyz" and also "everyone should have the right to have chickens for their own meat and eggs!"
like. an $1800 coop and run IS more expensive than just replacing a $5 chicken every time one gets killed. you can't try and support people living in poverty to produce their own healthy food but also hold up pintrest/instagram cottagecore ideals. poor people have farmed forever. gentrifying the small farm into organic grassfed premium products behind a white picket fence is what causes food scarcity. it's so evil. Joe down the road with his 3 cows who look muddy and underfed is just trying to feed his family. his 50 year old crooked shed they live in is all he has. barns cost more than houses. fences cost more than cars. this weird gross standard of everybody upholding rich western ideals for animal husbandry is just a different kind class signalling and othering. food is a human right.

Five Health Benefits of Grass Fed Beef
A well-managed grass-fed cow ranch has several advantages for the environment. We've written about the advantages of grass-fed beef for the environment in a previous blog article, but to put it briefly, a ranch that raises grass-fed beef would lessen soil erosion and water pollution in the area. Additionally, it will enable the land's biodiversity to grow.
