How to Love People Who Hurt You
Hi y’all, todays subject is a tough one. In the Bible we are called to love our ‘enemies’ like Jesus commanded because if He forgives us then we should forgive others, which shows Jesus we take forgiveness serious. Forgiveness doesn’t mean excusing wrongdoings, but rather, freeing ourselves from bitterness and choosing to love as God loves us. So, let’s jump into this subject, we are going to speak about 1. Pray for them 2. Let go of bitterness 3. Set boundaries if needed 4. Remember how much God has forgiven you 5. Show kindness even when it’s undeserved.
Pray For Them:
Even when it’s hard, praying for the person who hurts you softens your heart and allows God to work in both of you. Prayer is so powerful, so when you feel the bitterness or anger towards them, just pray! Praying for a person is so beautiful because it’s considerate, in this situation, you’re doing it without asking, you’re doing it because you want to be like Christ. Pray to God, give Him your struggle and ask Him to soften your heart towards those who hurt you, ask to be like Him with forgiving. Always go to Him, in time of confusion.
Let Go Of Bitterness:
Holding onto resentment only hurts you. Trust that God is the ultimate judge and let Him handle justice. Stop letting this situation control you, it’s taking up your time, when you could be in prayer with God or reading your Bible. Trust me, holding onto bitterness, only ever hurts you.
Set Boundaries If Needed:
Loving someone doesn’t always mean staying close to them. Sometimes, love means forgiving from a distance. I think sometimes people can’t forgive because they think it means the person has to be their friend or near them, but no, forgiving can be praying for them/from a distance, and they might never know you forgave them, yo don’t need to meet up with them to let go of the bitterness.
Remember How Much God Has Forgiven You:
We all fall short, yet God forgives us completely. Extending that grace to others reflects His heart. As Christian’s, we have so much opportunities to reflect/show Christ by our reflections or words. So by forgiving people like He does for us, is a huge blessing of His, that He looks down proud of us when we do it:)
Show Kindness Even When It’s Undeserved:
Jesus loved even those who betrayed Him. Choosing kindness doesn’t mean being weak, it means being strong in Christ. We need to stop acting with our flesh like anger or hate, but instead act with love, and kindness first like Jesus. Stop giving into the easy, and quick reactions that don’t reflect Christ. I know it’s hard to forgive, but God wants you to be happy without bitterness, instead of hate, speak love, instead of anger, pray to God. Everything leads to God, so give Him your struggles, He knows your pain and wants to help you, so let Him<333
I hope y’all like this subject, pray to God always and let Him have your struggles, it’s hard to forgive, trust me, I know, but we need to stop giving into this unnecessary baggage on our shoulders that our Father should be holding instead. Mercies Anew
Since 2012 I have kept a daily God-sighting journal. Each day I write down three ways I saw God the previous day and mark the date. I keep it simple with my sightings being more about seeing everyday blessings than the big miracles we experience a few times throughout life. I am currently in the upper 8,000s with my God-sighting journal and recently, found myself seeing them more than I normally do, given some abnormal circumstances.
Last weekend, husband and I experienced a flurry of ER visits, tests, doctors, nurses, waiting rooms, more tests, and finally answers to an ailment that had plagued me for almost two weeks. The answer included surgery. Been there, done that four times previously…walk in the park…right?
Not so much. This was a very different, very pain-filled surgery, with a very different recovery. While that surprised me, husband and I did not find ourselves discouraged. Discouragement was far off because we were experiencing God’s mercies anew every morning. God-sightings came in so fast I couldn’t keep track of them all.
God-sightings like…
The excellent care of the surgeon and nurses. Their kind words and tender hearts calmed my own fears and eased my pain. Mercies anew…
The woman who took my meal order daily while in the hospital told me to order as much as possible. But why? I was eating crackers like a bird. “What you order and don’t finish your husband can eat for a meal.” Needless to say, husband was WELL fed. Mercies anew…
Hospital policy now allowed husband to spend the two nights I was in the hospital with me. Mercies anew…
Husband who never left to go home an hour away and freshen up, but stayed with me through it all, sleeping on a less-than-comfortable futon. Mercies anew…

My Lifegroup friend who knew I hated to miss attending husband’s spring concert, held her phone up for the whole hour, calling me through Google Meet so I could still hear and see the concert. Mercies anew…
We were overwhelmed by the mercies anew, sometimes on a minute-by-minute basis. We did not want this to happen and certainly did not ask for it to happen during the busiest time of my husband’s year. And yet, mercies anew…again and again and again.

Miracle On My Lenten Journey (and it just started!)

✨ Friday’s Women’s Retreat was truly beautiful! ♥
Several hours before attending, I had reblogged a prayer by St. Thomas Aquinas, on my FB page not realizing how profoundly it would align with what was to come.
I was invited to the Women’s Retreat through my local Parish, Sacred Heart ❤️⛪ and given the honor of holding a candle for the Stations of the Cross 🕯️, joining the other women as we carried a flame for each station in reverence to our Blessed Lord.
For some time, I had carried a deep knot of unforgiveness—born from a painful spiritual trial. I had encountered a collective of souls who seemed unrepentant, and in their blindness, they struck at me viciously for my spiritual awareness. Attempting to explain the depths of it all would be futile, but in essence, I had been deceived, and through the veils of the enemy, bitterness had taken root in my heart.
For two years, I prayed—seeking clarity, wondering if what I had witnessed was truly their intent. Then, at this retreat, I was given the Eleventh Station. And in that moment, the answer became unmistakably clear:
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34) ✝️🙏 Jesus offers forgiveness to those who are crucifying Him, embodying divine mercy. And this includes, THE ENTIRE WORLD at that precise moment.
With those words, peace settled into my soul, and the weight I had carried for so long was lifted.
🌿 A Lesson in Forgiveness------------------------------
Just when satan sought to shake my peace and patience by revealing things beyond my understanding, I believed, for a moment, that what I was witnessing was beyond even God’s sight. But I was mistaken.
Not a single soul on Earth fully comprehends the weight of their own actions as they persist in sin. And even when they believe they do, they do not—for if they truly understood, they would never persist so. In truth, they are simply lost, their hearts burdened with anger and confusion.
That is why we must pray and forgive, again and again, as often as we are wronged—just as Jesus did. 🙏💛
🌹 The 15 Promises of the Holy Rosary
The 15 Promises of the Holy Rosary were given by the Blessed Virgin Mary to St. Dominic and later recorded by Blessed Alan de la Roche. These promises reveal the graces and blessings granted to those who faithfully pray the Rosary.
Through the intercession of St. Thomas Aquinas, I have been realizing the truth of the Virgin Mary’s 15 promises of the Holy Rosary! 🌿 We are blessed with the intercession of the entire celestial court and all the saints throughout our lives.
💙 Mother Mary, I am yours—please keep me safe beneath your mantle. 💙

🕊️ The 15 Promises of the Holy Rosary
1️⃣ Signal Grace: Those who faithfully serve me by reciting the Rosary shall receive special signal graces. 2️⃣ Divine Protection: I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all who recite the Rosary. 3️⃣ A Powerful Weapon Against Sin: The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies. 4️⃣ Growth in Virtue: The Rosary will make virtue and good works flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God and withdraw hearts from the love of the world and its vanities. 5️⃣ Sanctification of Souls: The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish. 6️⃣ Assurance of Grace at Death: Those who recite my Rosary devoutly shall not die without the sacraments of the Church. 7️⃣ Victory Over Trials: Those who are faithful to my Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall partake in the merits of the saints in paradise. 8️⃣ Release from Purgatory: I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary. 9️⃣ Great Glory in Heaven: The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven. 🔟 Divine Assistance in Life: You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary. 1️⃣1️⃣ Help in Defending the Faith: Those who propagate my Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities. 1️⃣2️⃣ Spiritual Brotherhood: I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death. 1️⃣3️⃣ Grace for Perseverance: All who recite the Rosary are my beloved children, and the brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ. 1️⃣4️⃣ A Special Place in Heaven: Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination. 1️⃣5️⃣ Mary’s Protection: Those who faithfully recite the Rosary shall be embraced by my special protection in times of danger and trial.
These promises reveal the immense power of the Rosary as a means of grace, protection, and salvation. 🌿🙏 Let us remain steadfast in prayer and devotion!

When Mary promises that the entire celestial court will intercede for those devoted to the Rosary, it means that all of heaven—God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Mary, the angels, and the saints—will be praying and advocating for us in our journey toward salvation. 🙏✨

Hearing Gods Voice
Hii y’all, today’s subject is about hearing and identifying an issue as Christian’s we come across, “is it Gods voice,or mine?” Remember, Gods always speaking,but we just need to learn how to listen. So today I’m going to speak about 1. Ways God Speaks To You 2. How To Discern If It’s Really God Speaking and 3. If You’re Struggling To Hear Him:)
Ways God Speaks To Us:
1. Through His Word (the Bible): Gods voice will never contradict Scripture. If you want to hear Him, read your Bible regularly. Before reading your Bible, ask Him to open your ears and eyes, to speak to you while reading,also to be in His presence. Reading our Bible without stopping (for days,our even weeks) is a big way for us to feel Gods presence every day,hear Him,and not to feel distant. I recommend asking God to control your hands and Bible,so he can control what page or passage you read. It’s a good way to let God speak to you and show you what he wants to say/show you:)
2. Through The Holy Spirit:
Sometimes, we get a strong conviction, peace, or warning about something. That’s the Holy Spirit guiding us. God,of course is the Holy Spirit so that can be a way He can warn us about certain events and how we should act before it even happens. You may have felt the Holy Spirit while dancing and singing to worship music<33 The Holy Spirit can convict us sometimes, like feeling bad about an action we made that wasn’t in the spirit of Christ!
3. Through prayer:
Prayer isn’t just talking to God,it’s also about listening. Be still and give Him space to respond. Sometimes, we can pray in a rush, only getting our small talk out to God and He doesn’t get to speak or have a full conversation with us. We need to stop forgetting to pray or rushing it, to have a relationship with God, it starts with speaking to Him (think about how your friendships started).
4. Through other people:
God can use pastors, friends, or even strangers to confirm something to you. Be open to His message. Like we read in our Bibles, we also can experience prophets like e.g. Moses or Samuel speaking to us because God told them something we need to hear like e.g. reassurance.
5. Through Dreams & Visions:
God has used dreams to communicate throughout the Bible. Pay attention if something feels spiritually significant. Dreams or visions can be Gods way of showing you his future/plan for you especially if you have surrendered it to Him.
How To Discern If It’s Really God Speaking:
• Does it align with Scripture? - If it doesn’t, it isn’t Him, He doesn’t contradict Himself<3
• Does it bring peace, not confusion? - God is not the God of confusion but peace.
• Does it lead you closer to God? - If it leads you pulling away from God, GIRL it ain’t your Heavenly Father. Our father speaking to us, is going to make us closer.
• Have you prayed for confirmation? - If you have prayer for confirmation on a certain subject etc. then it is most likely Him answering:)
If You’re Struggling To Hear Him:
1. Remove distractions: Spend quiet private time with God, away from social media and noise. Turn your phone off, open your Bible, pray, or meditate with Him. Never speak about Jesus,more than spending time with Him.
2. Check Your heart: Are you truly seeking Him, or just looking for an answer you want? Remember, God isn’t just a genie there to make all our wishes come true like money, that’s why I encourage you to surrender all your dreams to our Heavenly Father, so you can stop idolising them instead of Him. He will make them happen in His own special way and time, it’s not for you to control or worry about!
3. Be patient: Sometimes God is silent because He wants us to trust Him. God isn’t always going to say “Samuel,Samuel” like he did to Samuel in 1 Samuel 3:10, it would be easy for us to trust in Him if he always spoke and told us His answer, but Him being silent, is Him wanting you to trust Him even in times when you feel discouraged.���

Spirit of Infirmity

The Bible speaks of a spirit of infirmity.
Some have been sick because the enemy has attacked their body, but not all sickness is of the devil, not all pain is sent by Satan, sometimes God sends sickness and pain. He is Sovereign, and sometimes God heals, but sometimes God says, My Grace is Enough.
So many ask, why does God allow sickness? The answer is simple God’s ways are higher than ours and his plan is greater than ours.
Isaiah 55:9 (ESV)
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts
