my villain origin story is that my tenth grade english teacher misunderstood the ending of 1984 and argued with me over it in front of the entire class and would not even consider that i was right (i was)

probably for the best i misplaced in the. many things im doing today. but DID see a post that started with a science educator giving a kid a real good explanation abt how rules work at different complexity of knowledge wrt to controlled risk and all that. and i didnt finish reading it (wanted to GET to that but lol) but ppl were like sooooo true sooo true cause noble and just authority figures are accountable, its only dictators and parents that exist in "this is the rules cause i said so" space. anyway i wanted to rb it and then bitchy ps it (like this) like "good post but why are you guys lying" but now were doing this instead.

loving the media attention on the possibility of the bacalaureat being postponed due to the strike. saw an article which talked about how much of a tragedy it is for students who want to study at universities abroad, and the ministry of education has also acknowledged this issue. man, if only they could do something about ending the education strike.

wait my parents might've just had their first good suggestion in terms of careers. hang on. wait a second.
#im Looking at the early childhood education program at college rn. like 👀👀👀#im not totally sold but like. good pay/i do like kids/it could be a fulfilling career for me/all of my background works so well for it#music and arts and multiple languages AND i have experience volunteering with kids + a first aid degree#and now that im actually coping with my anxiety instead of feeling awful all the time my social skills will (gradually) improve#AND the program has work terms so id only have to do one semester before i start getting a feel for the actual job#like. this might actually be an awesome idea.#levi.txt#i dont know for sure! this isnt smth i ever considered and i staunchly have never wanted to be a teacher#and id def have to talk to a real person working rn in the field and make sure its a safe idea for me as a visibly queer person#its canada so im physically safe but i need to know that theres not gonna be any expectations as to appearance beyond the obvious#plus the govt is pushing So Hard to get more of them so it makes me wonder what working conditions are like#but guys im not kidding the pay could be Good. the province is desperate for them rn so hourly wage could get up over the average#and there are a Lot of financial aids already#and again!! fulfilling work that i wouldnt hate (probably) (but i can even ensure that before i graduate!)#the more i think abt this the more i kind of like it a lot

#did a phone calllll yippee. its for my ged it was the um teacher and she sent me voucher codes for the practice tests#kin of awk bc she was like So your email says connor and your voicemail says connor (i need to change it back to kamille i was dumb as fuck#when i was in wa) would you like me to call you connor.. and i was like Um yes 👍#and i was like slayy but then she went but your real name is kamille right ? kind of funny#its whatever tho. ik they just use real name to mean like. govt legal name#the same thing happened in the psych ward but that was like. more ..... yk. but she was very nice aside from that#i just did the vouchers for the first 2 practice tests for now i did language arts and social studies bc those r my stronger ones#apparently i did Ok on my math but she recommended i do the classes so im gonna be back in zoom classes for the first time in years SCARY#STUFF!! i hope i dont have to have cam on
