Crewe, Virginia c.1870 pt.3
"This historic home was built in 1870 by William Hodges Mann, who was Governor of Virginia from 1910 to 1914. The home is a 2-story Italianate style with a 3rd story Tower room that is currently an office, and it contains Governor Mann’s original desk that transfers to the new owner. The home has large rooms with all the interior window and door trim, and doors are solid walnut and doors 9 feet tall. The main floor has a large entry hallway with a walnut staircase, large parlor, and dining room. The family room could be a first-floor bedroom. Upstairs, there are 3 large bedrooms, master bedroom has an adjoining master bath. The yard has pecan trees and 2 Magnolia trees out front that date to the building of the house. The old smoke house is still on the property as well as the foundation for the original barn and silo. This is truly a once in a generation find. They do not build houses like this one anymore."- from the real estate listing

first degree murder in new york is basically just for cops (with a few other caveats thrown in so when questioned they can say 'hey! it's not JUST cops!) and at this rate it's going to be for cops and CEO's

Not to be callous about the people who will suffer in the upcoming hurricane Idalia, but as a Florida Resident, I hope the aftermath of this personally ruins Rick Scott’s career and political influence so badly that nobody thinks of sustaining his pet little pieces of legislature that are making this place so fucking difficult for kids, and people like me.

As Governor Tim Walz is on the presidential campaign trail, graffiti has appeared on the roof of the Minnesota Governor's Residence. The Governor and his family temporarily moved to the University of Minnesota’s Eastcliff mansion last year while the residence is renovated. Graffiti reads "WALZ FAILED".

kinda weird how the governor is actually doing something to prepare for this hurricane that happens to be aiming straight at Tallahassee..... but last year's hurricane that swamped Tampa, a blue city, he was too busy campaigning in other states to give a shit.......
